THE NEXT MORNING (finally)

Rikku

Rikku awoke slowly The sun filtering in through the barred windows, she stood up slowly and walked over to them, letting the already warm sun light up her face. "Oh?" She said grabbing a tray that must've been left this morning with breakfast finding another note. "I'll read it when Alexander awakens she said tucking it into her dress before purifying the food and eating. "They sure are going through great lengths to make sure we don't see anyone... he must know something that we do not..."

Killian

The king walked into the room shaking Killian from his slumber, "Come, now is the time to stop your target, My scouts indicated that they have began preparations and intend on leaving soon you would be wise to awaken your Companions, and take them down now, they are staying inside of the old warehouse in the hotel district." The King stated walking out of the room "Gametime guys!" killian yelled getting up and starting to get dressed.

Melody

Melody woke up as soon as the king entered and upon hearing his words she began getting dressed and ready also. "Do we have a plan of attack or will we figure out once we get there?" She asked getting ready.

Ty

Ty was awake looking at the sky gritting his teethe he wanted to fly off and look on his own, but he knew that he couldn't leave luna here alone, and injured... So he just gritted his teeth and waited for a sign of how things were going.

Larris was already awake when the king had come into the room to wake up Killian. Sitting on his bed he watched the group as they had started to wake. "You guys are late sleepers." He said with a smile as he jumped off his bed and grabbed hold of his axe and swung it down towards the floor, stopping an inch away from the floor. "Finally, time for some fun!" With that, he strapped the axe onto his back, and jumped out the window and ran to the gates waiting for the others.

Jaden yawned as Killian woke up the others. Stretching, he looked about the room as he saw Larris jump out the window and shook his head. "So much energy." He laughed as he got out of his bed and got dressed, testing the fabric, making sure it wouldn't rip where he had just fixed.

"Ready to go when you are." Jaden tested the hidden knives, making sure they worked, and turned to the rest of the group.

As the sun rose over the trees, and shone in Luna's face, she moaned some, as if trying to tell it to go away. Moving her hand in front of her eyes, she looked at Ty for a moment as she woke. "Up already?" She asked as she sat up, tossing the blanket off of her. She couldn't remember going to sleep, since the last thing she was doing was practicing, but she shrugged the thought away.

"Do you remember the rendezvous point?" Luna asked, as she had completely forgotten while she grabbed her clothes, and started getting dressed.

Rikku

"Alexander." Rikku said glad to have him awake. "How are you feeling today?" She asked holding up the note before remembering that he couldn't see. "Oh! We've gotten another note from the maid, Would you like to hear what it said?" She asked wondering if he was curious at all.

Killian

"Ok c'mon lets go." He said leading the group out to the Hotel district, where the harpies were getting ready to leave. "How do we want to go about this, just have a single person go in from each entrance and surround and overpower them? or should we rather try and sneak in unknowingly?" He asked the group as the planned the attack.

Melody

"My vote would have to be That we just ambush them, If we waste time trying to be sneaky they will get out of the warehouse, and then they will be safe in town, because we can't attack them in plain sight I feel as though the best option would be for us to take them by surprise with a full on attack." melody Stated, with a nod.

Ty

"How would I know." he said kicking the dirt. "I've been asleep" He said bitterly before sighing. "I assume we should just stay here." He said calming down, remembering that his temper is what forced them to put him to sleep in the firstplace.

Asuis
The Toad Hermit

"I'm too ill-informed to come up with somethin', so don't look towards the wise old man for anything; I cut the wise act along with my long flowing wisdom moustache."

Asuis grumbled, hoping they could enjoy breakfast before going on some harpy hunt. In all of his years, Asuis had only dealt with Crow Harpies, which were loose bands of black feather Harpies, that just loved picking off other people's hard work, like Asuis' crops. Other than that, Asuis was a bit clueless, especially since he was a new member to the brigade.

Rikku

Rikku Quickly unfolded the letter:

"Dear Priestess,
Things here are bad... even now I can feel his mind clouding mine, and I am only righting this letter because I wrote down that I had to... but I can honestly say that my mind and body are telling me not to write it. Anyways I learned some things... He has begun to spread his will among his servants, that is why I am finding myself unwilling in writing this letter, for he still doesn't know that I have been writing to you. I have Also learned that the more minds he changes, the stronger he becomes, and He has already become much, stronger that before. He has done this because Alexanders mind was being to much work for him to crack comfortably... so he has increased his power and has began working alexanders brain with more less trouble... He Seeks to have Alexander kill you and charge him of homicide, However I have learned how you can currently shut down all of his attempts at controlling anyone, all you have to do is give them ?0#/613551~9---------"

"The note ends here With a large line... the last words are written but un-definable." She stated with a heavy sigh. "These notes are a double edged sword they always seem to bring something good... at the expense of also bringing something dreadfully awful... Alexander I have made a decision, I no longer care whether or not we have to do it by force... Lord Velu has given us no other options, Tonight we are leaving the treetop fortress, after dinner, in the middle of the night. Is this ok with you?" She asked looking over at him concerned.

Killian

"Ok then it is settled then." He said jumping down onto the roof and getting close to a window. "Everyone ready? Three. Two." He Said Summoning his Sword, Which looked normal to everyone else, but he forgot that asuis would recognize the Sea dwellers craftsmanship "one." He said Swinging over and jumping through, as he crashed through the window he chanted a thunder spell and launched it near the Carraige to confuse them before landing in front of the exit of the warehouse. "Your Not leaving with Her!" He said launching another one at the carriage before realizing... that there were far more people here than He expected their to be, Atleast a few dozen harpies clouded the sky in The Warehouse. "It was a trap" He Yelled Sending another thunder spell tearing through the warehouse.

THe harpies Cackled and shreiked attack cries as they flew at the heavily outnumbered Group, attacking with a flurrie of elemental magics, spears and Bows.

Melody

Melody jumped up and drilled straight in from the top using her magic, and landing on her floating staff in the warehouse. "Take this! Holy chains!" SHe said landing on the ground as chains of light flew out of her staff and latched onto a couple of harpies as she swung them around and bashed them into a wall. before noticing the entire flock of them. "We might need to Regroup...this was an ambush..." She stated Getting in a defensive stance, parrying a blow from a nearby Spearmen harpy.

Ty.

"I can't just sit here knowing that she is in danger." He said walking over and swinging Luna onto his back. "C'mon lets fly." He said taking of into the sky. "Watch for anything suspicious in town, I want to take us to the castle to speak with the king and see if he knows where they are... but if we can find them without any help it would be nice." He said soaring above the capital city.

Asuis
The Toad Hermit

"I'm too old for this..."

Asuis jumped and kicked a harpy away from him, using his momentum to hit another one with his walking stick. Asuis landed on top of one harpy hard, hitting the bird in the forehead with the butt of his walking stick before suddenly turning around to block another attack, this time a very sharp one aimed for his face, but his walking stick managed to block it. Asuis groaned as he stepped quickly to the left and used the harpy's own force to make it lunge forward into the one on the ground, only to be then met with a quick bonk on the head by the top of Asuis' walking stick.

mid-day

Rikku

"Alexander!" She said running to his aid. "Ok That's it we are leaving now... we can't waste any more time." SHe said reaching for The doorknob. ".... We're locked in." She stated walking back to the other side of the room. "Stand back." SHe said holding her hand up as her wand appeared in it. "Solar Flare." She said blasting the door open, her beam knocked out the people standing guard as well. "C'mon Alexander, this isn't going to be easy, we are probably going to have to fight our way out." She said grabbing his hand and starting to run. "Up ahead Harpy Sentries, are you Ok to fight?"

Killian

Killian moved acrobatically, taking out one after another his fighting style looked more like he was dancing with his sword, rather than fighting but it was deadly none the less, until he was caught off guard, and lifted into the air by a harpy that had latched it's talons onto him, and swung him wildly into boxes and other things in the warehouse.

Melody

"Killian!" She yelled holding up herstaff. "Air slash" SHe said knocking the harpy out of the sky and getting killian back on solid ground. "Killian be car---" she was cut off, as a harpy soldier tackled her into the ground,,she struggled against him kicking and yelling but he wrestled with her until he managed to lift her in the air the same as killian, holding her as a target for an oncoming firespell.

Ty

"Do you see anything?" He asked as they approached the castle, Ty reached in his bag and grabbed the talking stone that killian had left with him, and dangled it, as they flew, as a message to the soldiers that they were not enemies.
