KTweirdchick ...I think we should keep a record of Adonis' inventory...not sure how or where... Which brings me to my brilliant idea. Well I thought it was brilliant.
I'm obsessed with gaia gold and I've had this idea ever since I first joined the crew. How about using Adonis' Journal as a crew log?? It would be friendsonly of course and that way if there are any major changes that have happened or like you said Inventory log, we could post it there. Easy way of communication that also gets you gold for things we can buy so we can use for the guild.
Of course all my ideas are works in progress.
Before this year is over I promise to deliver a full thought out idea!

KTweirdchick Towards everyone at large:
So when do we want to "unveil," so to speak, the Quiddich Sub-forum? And what are we going to call it? Personally, I don't think we should do it until after Halloween...because I want everyone's attention to be drawn towards the event, not the new sub-forum...Know what I mean? Also, when do we want to start thinking about contacting other guild captains and moderators about the Quiddich guild? Do we want to wait for a bit first? Or do you think it would be good to get to know the other heads and talk it all over with them before we begin working towards the actual thing. You know, make sure we make them part of it all, not just participants in our little idea. And, if we're going to contact them, who's going to do it? Adonis or me or DDA or someone else? My reason for coming here today.
My idea as to what to call it: The Stadium.
Quidditch Season typically starts when? I have no idea but let's say for the guild's sake, November. So we could open November sometime. But the downside to that is holidays. Holiday season is here and because of that I was thinking it shouldn't be officially opened (at least to other guilds) until next term.
Before plans of joining together we should open a thread somewhere and have a Quidditch chat with all the mods and captains. That's a nice idea. "HP Quidditch Discussion: Private please"

I wanted to avoid this as much as possible, but I realize my RL has increased much more. If it was busy then, it's definetely busy now.
Here's what I want to do: Make a Annoucement Thread with the Welcome letter( I'll post it in the next post ) If I do post that in the main forum, it's more than likely the first thing to be seen. I've been sending to members. There are 3 good reasons why I want to do this. Of couse if I do put it in the sticky, it will be from all mods. My reasons: time, PM, and amount of new members.
I don't have as much time to do the PMs anymore especially with as much new members we're getting. The fact that I can't send mass Pms to people not on my friendslist hampers things alot too. Which brings me to my third reason
When KT and I discussed, it was decided that I should play a factor in getting people inside our guild. When I do do that, we will have more new members weekly. And since the PM system is no longer mass allowed and with the quota, that is time-consuming.
So Options:
Do away with the letter
or
Post it in the main forum

I reccommend the Giggling Pear first.. It'll give the most info for new members

I think this will not be considered a term. We may have to start the new term in January.
I have an idea because it will take some work by the Mods to redesign and update the guild that we use the journal for all updates.
