Because you get two Pokemon when he evolves. 3nodding But one of them sucks. >=( Not in a Nuzlocke. 50% of the Pokemon you encounter won't be able to touch him; if you use him well, he'll save your a** at least once.

But he's a Glass Cannon... An unbreakable glass cannon with an Achilles heel. And an extra catch. Could be worse, you could have gotten a Whismur.
