Mana~
She crossed her arms as he ran over to make his delivery and waited... as patiently as she could. Which was not at all patient when it came to Mana. She tapped her foot, cracked her knuckles and chewed on her lip. After what seemed like an eternity, but in reality was only scant minutes, he returned and said he needed to grab his tools. "Okay, okay." Mana stood there staring after him as he grabbed his tools. "I wouldn't be such a pain if there wasn't somebody's life at stake," she said, almost apologetically.

Nereus As they reach to his workshop the door was wide open, so he rushes to see if the culprit was still there. As he approach the workshop he saw a mess of the place, and on top of the table was a note. It said. We know what you are working on, and we will get that device-Anonymous He then put the note in his pocket, got his stuff and closed the door. "They stole nothing." He said trying to not make her worry. "Let's got then."

The half-ling gave him a strange look. "Are ya sure? Okay, then, if ya say so..." She eyed him one more time before leading the way out of town. "This part's gunna be a little tricky. Heh, oh, yeah. I forgot, you've travelled this way a lot haven't ya?" Mana chuckled and scratched the back of her neck nervously. "I guess I'd forgot about that."

Nereus "Yeah." He said as he closed his eyes and laughs a bit. "How you been since the last time I saw you." He said as he was catching up with her. "This person who needs the dive machine, may I ask you for her name. I know that you told me earlier, but I want to make sure if I got the name right?"

"Huh? I've been around. Dunno, doing a few bounty missions here and there. I caught a couple of escapees and sent them back to the prisons. Otherwise, not much. Well, now I'm kinda mixed up in something... complex, I guess would be the only way you'd call it." When he questioned her about the name of her friend, she blinked a moment. "Oh, yeah, that friend of mine I mentioned. Sorry, I wasn't thinking when I blurted out her name. Heh, of course you wouldn't know who the heck I'm talkin' about. I just met her a few days back. Her first name's Hikari, but I'm not sure about her full name or anything. She hasn't told us much about herself." She didn't mention the F.P.D. part to him out of fear that he'd turn on Hikari. F.P.D.'s were hunted like animals, after all. Even a trusted friend would turn on a Reyvateil and report her if she turned out to be F.P.D. positive. Mana knew she couldn't be too careful.

Nereus "That is what I thought you said." He then had another quick flash back of her standing in front of what seems to be her house. To Mana he looked like he was spacing out. Maybe she is the one that appears in the recent flash back I keep having. I will know soon, once I see her. He shook his head to return to normality. "That's good to hear, as for me I am just working on random inventions. Like this for instance." He pointed to his mask.

Man... She's pissed. But there wasn't much he could do. Though he'd been sarcastic, it was clear that his message had gotten through. "Looks like a proxy dive's our only chance. I'm ready whenever you are."

"Hmm... was wonderin' what that goofy thing on yer face was," Mana teased lightly. "It's one of yer new inventions that you're testing out?" She cocked her head to the side curiously. "So... what exactly does it do, anyways?" The trip to Daila seemed to take forever but this trip back was going much faster, Mana noticed. They were entering into the outskirts of Behdla.

"All right, then." The younger twin approached the unconscious Reyvateil and pulled her up, attempting to put her in a piggyback as her sister had previously. Surprise showed on her face when her knees gave out under Hikari's dead weight. The girl didn't weigh that much, but Miko certainly was not as strong as her twin. She turned to Ishira. "May I please ask for your assistance in carrying her?" She asked quietly. "I guess I'm not very strong," Miko admitted, ashamed. This was where Miko began wishing that she'd trained as intensely as her sister had physically. Before, Miko had never needed a reason to put any effort toward learning martial arts and physical endurance. Instead she plowed ahead with her magic studies tirelessly, and completely ignored everything else. Sister... I wish I was more like you sometimes...

Ishira was instantly at Miko's side, taking Hikari from her, "Sure thing, it's no big," he looked concernedly at Miko, "You should have gotten adequate rest earlier. I don't think anyone here was more dedicated to helping out than you, you deserve a break," he smiled and lifted Hikari. She was a feather compared to Gannon that was for sure. He glanced at Gannon, "You fine to get to the dive shop?"  Rhaplanca  "I hate to point it out but," Rhaplanca frowned, knowing the hurry that everyone is in to help Hikari, herself included, "I need three machines to proxy dive and we only have two..."

"Oh? There are only two machines up?" Miko's face fell. "Oh... I thought that since you both came back here that meant..." She glanced up at Ishira. "I guess so... I've been awake all night and have been caring for these two non-stop." She smiled sheepishly. "I'm used to this sort of thing. When uncle..." She trailed off. "Never mind. I wonder if we shouldn't go over there with her anyway to meet my sister? I know that we really don't have any time to spare after she returns."

Nereus "If you are referring to my mask then, yes it is a new invention." He said as they already enter the outskirts of Behdla. "And what it does is that the wearer is immune to the horrifying affect of the status magic. Go ahead and give it a try."

"Try it out? But we don't have anything to test it on. Unless I try my poison magic on ya." Mana said. "I really suck at magic though, so it's not much of a comparison." Miko's always been a heck of a lot better than me at this crap, she thought disdainfully.

Nereus "Go ahead, I am assure that it won't affect." He said sounding cocky. He knew that magic wasn't her strong point, so he thought of something to tease her. "Or maybe you can do a combo of status magic to show that my mask is flawless." He then followed his statement with a cheesy smile.

"Aw, come on, have a heart!" Mana whined. "I'm beat enough as it is." She stopped for a second, closing her eyes to summon her Teru magic. "Okay... okay... come on... come on..." She chanted softly to herself over and over. Damn, Sis and Gannon make this crap look like nothin'. Nothing happened after a few moments and Mana thought for a moment that her magic had completely quit on her. That's when the greenish aura formed around her and blasted at him before she could properly contain the magic. "Aw, crap!" She shouted when the Poison spell shot off unexpectedly at him. "Oh, well. It got the job done, I s'pose." She stared at the human in front of her with a raised eyebrow. "Please, Ner, tell me that yer little mask actually works. I dunno if I'll be able to heal ya otherwise. It's a good thing we're in Behdla..."
