@Anyone

Jamais' attention snapped to the tree, she didn't have any water pokemon though to handle it with. Techinally just starting out on her gathering as it was, which probably for her age was a bit odd... She frowned.

"Do you think we could battle it with a Back burn? Fix it so it won't spread? Burn itself out?" She paused, "Or throw sand on it? Smothering works right?" It always worked on small engine fires when she had to us her coat for such a thing.

As the last meowth was caught Raina sighed, so much for a new addition to the team, at least for tonight. However, now that the distraction was gone Raina remembered the tree was on fire and she feared for the pokemon who may be in it or nearby. Quickly she unclipped Ayirwen's ball "Ayirwen!" she called as she tossed it out and the Dewgong appeared. "Use... um..." Raina's mind was at a blank as she tried to think of what attacks her pokemon knew that would help... in fact, she couldn't remember any attacks at all.

The dewgong rolled her eyes at her trainer before turning her attention to the tree, sliding a bit closer, past the line of most of the trainers, and she unleashed a powerful ice beam that met with the flames and quickly melted, turning into a giant dowsing of water. Hopefully it would work.

      Saspra's eyes widened as the fire raged across the camping grounds. It was just her day to bring a fire Pokemon along! She knew that there was little chance of her and Shadow actually being able to get anything beneficial to the situation done so she looked around frantically for some form of liquid, any form of liquid!

Mina caught the ball once more, and although another Meowth fell out, she ignored it. It had enough attention, and there was a growing fire close by.

She saw some trainers take out their Pokemon to quench it, but it still blazed. She looked around for a stream, a bucket, anything to help get rid of it.

Anala, although she enjoyed the warmth and could feel her own powers strengthen because of her Flash Fire ability, could sense the dangers of the burning flame and followed her trainer closely, even though her reins had been dropped and forgotten in the moment's panic.

"No pokemon yet," Lucine said with a sigh, "My parents are very strict about that sort of thing; they want me to only catch ones I've earned, as they put it but haven't let me off of the ranch until this trip."

Her eyes filled with light, "That's why I want an Eevee! I think ti would be the perfect starter and... maybe then I could catch more."

She smiled a little, "That's the plan anyway."

Lucine beamed at Brianna and took a snow ball, devouring it with more enthusiasm than she had showed the spaghetti.

Sienna sprang onto her feet when she saw the fire...Only to regret getting up so fast and becoming dizzy. First all these mewoth, and now a fire?! The only water pokemon she had was Kipper, "Kipper! Go help put out the fire with any water attacks! Frey, sand-attack will have to do"

Flint not haveing any pokemon, let alone any water pokemon joins lumina in trying to pulls flammable things away from the out of control fire

The peaceful melody of his guitar playing was easily disterbed as Jon'Cloude suddenly stood to his paws. Head raising and craning around, he growled low, and darted off towards the woods. Suprised, the breeder quickly stood as well, leaning his guitar against the tree, "Hey! Where are you going?" He called after the Absol, running as fast as he could after it. Tirk, confused, followed as well.

Skidding to a hault, the breeder gazed up at the raging flames.
"Oh crap..." he murmured. He looked around frantically, seeing if anyone else was around, "Hey! We've got a fire here!" Jon'Cloude was poised, ushering out a few Pokemon that took to nesting in the canopy's. The breeder felt helpless without a water Pokemon, and the Absol's wind attacks could make it worse. He had to rely on someone else...

Nina actually had no idea what to do. Ponytas were not very helpful when it came to putting out flames, and she had a bit of water in a canteen - but if she used it she'd be parched for the rest of the trip, and while it was possible to go around without food, going waterless was a bit of a far stretch. (Unless there was a river around somewhere, but Nina did not see any rivers, thank you very much)

"Yeah, uh..." she said, stepping aside to see what the others did. She wasn't going to be able to do anything here.

Liam was going to respond with some witty retort to his next 'never' when the cries for help sounded through the air, and again the healer lifted his head, cursing and scrambling up, tossing back the drink before dropping it's container on his sleeping back.

"Sh--, who the fn hell mat the shoddy campfire?!" He called, grabbing his wet shirt and dashing over to where their tauros were. Grabbing his pokemon, who seemed to understand the urgency, they sprinted towards the fire, and Liam crouched down, shoveling sand onto his shirt.

"Nitro, sand attack!"

Donut was giggling his ghostly buttocks off at Corn when she actually pulled out a pokemon. Uh oh, whenever this happened, it was bad news. Why hadn't he noticed? No battle! Nonono- oh wait. The Gengar cackled and pointed at the Eevee, his eyes growing to perhaps twice their usual size as he approached the furry pokemon. "GENNNNN!"

User ImageEmily's fur ruffled up a little when the silver Gengar criticized her and grew in apparent size. She started whining, <You have got to be kidding me. I don't have any attacks that can hit you, I don't want a staring contest, just go awayyyyyy so I can sleep away the rest of this trip and get home faster.>

Corn was scrambling to her feet, trying to remember what attacks Emily had. Normal type, probably nothing very useful against a ghost. Sand attack? Maybe? Not likely. Suddenly, CRACK-DOOOOM! Thunder strikes! Spinning to face a new threat, Corn watches as the forest catches fire, grows from a spark to a good burn. Instead of screaming again, she simply slumps her shoulders, dejected and dismayed. "Oh what the ********. First a ghost attacks me, and now the b'goddamn forest is on fire."

@Rian

User Image Anise stared in shock at the rapidly growing fire. "Oh no!" she whispered. Her pokemon had nothing that could help put out the blaze either. Looking around quickly as she thought, she saw a Dewgong using Ice beam and got an idea. "Quick Felix, use Assist on that Dewgong!" Her pokemon bounded forward, surrounding himself with a bright glow that transfered itself to the other pokemon and boosted its attack.

Brianna's eyes went wide as she tossed a Pokeball and managed to catch a Meowth! How about that! She grinned widely as she picked up the ball, and grimaced at Lumina's remark.

"True... I can't say I like spinach much."

However, she then noticed the nearby fire. Oh crap. And what was worse... she didn't have any water Pokemon.

(( And thanks to the congrats. 8D <3 ))

Lizzie was trying her best to ignore the Meowth attack and eat her dinner... but with Pokeballs flying everywhere and trainers shouting she got a headache from the whole ordeal.

"Damnit, do these people not know how to keep a proper fire?" She saw a rearing flame out of the corner of her eyes and assumed that someone's campfire gone out of control.

No wait. That was a legit forest fire caused by the lightning. Now this is something she actually cared about, since a raging uncontrollable fire like this could spell trouble for everyone... including herself.

"Put it out!" Lizzie cried out to her Lugia. She didn't care what he did exactly, so Psywater took the initiative and spurted a Hydro Pump at the flaming trees.

Robin jumped back as the fire flared up. Were there more Pokemon in there? The street musician patted down his pockets, looking for anything he could use to help put it out. Nothing.

Then he looked back at his rental Onix – could she do anything? She seemed to be cringing away from the fire herself, seconds away from bolting. Robin strode up to her side and patted the nearest rocky segment of her body. "Do you know any moves that could help, girl?" He wasn't sure if she could understand him, but it helped to think out loud. "Something to smother it. Dirt? Oh! Onix, use Mud Sport!"

The Onix shook her head, as if shaking off the fear, then reared back and let loose a river of wet, brown mud, directly at the flames.

"Yes! That should help!"
