The game is officially out there, people! So if you're avoiding spoilers, watch your step! I'm not, so if you have any specific questions about the game, like: "does X character appear?", but don't want to look it up and risk getting spoiled, just ask me, and if I know the answer, I'll let you know. (But I'll still white it out, of course.)

We have Spade and Heart, both dealing with cards. My guess is, Alex took the name Ace as it also has to deal with cards.
Cause Diamond and Clubs are stupid?

Cause Diamond and Clubs are stupid? I'm just disappointed that the localizers are apparently dropping the card-themed names. I mean, Blados? Really? Bluh. Also, just for everyone's info, apparently the final boss has been leaked on Gamefaqs. Might be a good idea to avoid the DD board there for a while.

Haha...wow..."prettier" is right... lol
...I'm guessing he takes on the alias while avoiding the old crew? He'd have no qualms running into the main party, as they aren't likely to recognize him...
Blados? Wha? Did they change Heart and Spade's names too? D:

Yeah, there was another article on the game that I came across, some guy reporting on this "play a sample section of the game" thing. Apparently you get to meet one of the major antagonists, "Blados."

"Blados"? Wow, that's very silly. I think it's very clear that the creators intended the villains' names to be themed on a deck of cards so why the localization team would change them is beyond me.
And aside from suddenly becoming prettier, Alex Ace doesn't seem to have aged AT ALL. I mean, Isaac looks pretty good for being, what, 47? I lost some lesbian points when I saw him and his awesome beard... But damn! The power of Alchemy must have messed with Alex's aging... or something.

Yeah, I remember reading that article as well. I thought it was a bit odd. They should've just stuck with the card references. I assume "Blados" is a play on the word "Blade", so what are they going to call Heart?
