When he heard Lura talking Kai looked at and smiled,"Naw, I'm fine.. I'm still in once piece after all. Thanks for patchin' me up. He got up, using the sword as a crutch as he limped over and put his hand on Lura's massive shoulder, then limped over the the edge of the trees, found a good long thick branch and dragged it back to the edge of the water. Sitting and starting to carve the wood with a knife he had hidden in the sole of one of his boots.

Myia smiled as she listened to Max. "Oh." She said as she thought about it. She hold of his left hand with her right. "Well nice to meet you Max." She grinned. She looking over at Yuran and then Calypso. She smiled and laughed lightly. He is quite energetic even though he is hurt. "He's having fun." She said as she turned her eyes towards Samatha. "I must admit this is an odd ball group." She laughed as she looked around at the others.

Calypso gathered the remaining items needed and returned to the professor. He placed everything on the ground then sat down cross legged beside, wincing slightly as he jarred his injuries.
Lura snaked her head towards Kai to see what he was carving and eventually she turned her whole body so she could watch. She enjoyed observing the humans and hummed happily in her throat.

Achiu watched all the activity in the make-shift camp with amused interest. It was nearly comical watching the young male hunting for Yuran.
He was a bit nervous as he watched Kai get up and start walking around. But after a little bit, he seemed to get at least some of his strength back, getting up and hobbling over to a tree and grabbing a branch, starting to carve something from it.
He caught Myia's comment about it being an odd group and laughed. "Certainly is, isn't it? But any group will do as long as they get the job done, and we certainly did."
Looking over to Yuran, an idea struck him. "Say, Doctor, you need a hand with getting a fire going?"

Kai didn't notice much as he worked, but when he paused to rest his shoulder for a bit he saw Lura had turned and was watching him, "You know that humming you guys do sounds cool." he said as he started carving again, and even though it hadn't been that long one end of the branch had a nicely curved handle, and now Kai was working on evening out the rest of the branch to make it nice and smooth .

Lura blinked slowly and replied.
Thank you little one. But can you not hum as well?
She said to him with a small smile and then focused on his handiwork.
What are you making?
She asked as she tried to figure it out.

Kai grinned, "Yeah, sure I can hum but it doesn't sound like that... and I am making a cane." he held it up so she could see it better, he'd finished getting the bark off already, but he wanted to do more details out of habit. "It'd be a waste to keep using such a nice sword as a crutch, ya know?"

The professor continued to watch the small blue dragon run around, pouncing on small creatures that would be added to the stew. 'I just hold he's not catching bugs... Don't know how well us human's stomach will handle it if we found out...' He thought before looking to the large white dragoness, looking at her with concern. "You do not sound fine..." He said, before he began pulling different spices from the same pocket that the pots came out of and began mixing them into the water, before he smiled down at the little dragon when he returned, seeing him wince. "The ointment should take away most of the pain, just don't work too hard, alright?" He said, before looking at the green dragon. "That would help! Let me get the a fire circle made so we don't burn the whole forest down." He said, chuckling a little bit before he stood up from his spot and began to pull up the grass from a circular area, leaving only the dirt. He then began to put the wood Calypso had brought as well as a few branches he'd found in the circle. After another moment he went back to his pack and pulled out another disk-esque piece of metal, unfolding four short legs from the underside and her placed it in the fire area. After that he lookedup to the green dragon. "Could I have some help lifting this thing onto the stand as well?"
"It's nice to meet you too, Myia." Maximillion said before looking to where she was looking, seeing the blue dragon and he couldn't help but smile as well. "You think? Naah, I don't think he is!" He said in a playfully sarcastic tone, laughing kindly. He continued to smile when she spoke about how odd of a group this was. "Yeah... Dragons, humans, and a cyborg." He chuckled at the last word, talking about himself. He looked up at Achiu when he spoke. "We certainly did, my friend. I don't know what would have happened to the poor little guy, infact to any dragon had we not dealt with those hunters, but with us around, they will have to think thrice before they even lift a weapon to hunt a dragon!" He said, getting into the moment.

She laughed at what Max said. Myia then looked at Achiu and smiled. "True." She turned to Max and tilted her head. "Yep, but Uh I am not human or dragon or a cyborg." She laughed lightly. "I am a mix of vampire and soul eater." She stopped smiling to show she was serous. So far everyone that knew didn't seem bothered by it, but that was mostly because they weren't human. She wasn't even sure who all heard that conversation she had with the young dragons.

Lura chuckled at Kai's comments.
Indeed, it would be a waste. If you'd like I can blacken the wood after. Then any designs you carve afterwards will stand out more sharply.
She offered and when the professor spoke, she turned her head to see him better.
I am glad for your concern professor but please, do not worry yourself over me. I'm sure it's just some draconic phase. You should concentrate on what the young one is trying to add to your cooking.
She said as a smile appeared on her features.
Calypso had grinned at Yuran and during his talk with Lura, had begun to prepare a lizard which looked suspiciously like it was poisonous to humans, but Calypso looked at it hungrily.

Achiu nodded at Yuran's wisdom. "Very good idea. The scientists have created enough havoc on the island without us trying to burn it down."
He then turned his attention back to Myia and Max's conversation. He chuckled at Max's enthusiasm. "They certainly will. But some humans seem to have a short memory. I'm sure this won't be the last time that they're out here hunting. But perhaps now there will be someone hunting the hunters."
He turned back to Yuran when the doctor spoke. "Oh. Certainly." Standing up out of the river, he walked over to the bank, placing himself between the pot and the stand. After eyeing it briefly, he grabbed the pot with both hands and stood on his hind legs to place it on the stand, being careful not to hurt his injured leg.
Once the pot was in place, he stood back, took a deep breath and blew a carefully controlled blast of flame at the wood. Any moisture that may have been in it was quickly baked off and the wood caught fire.
Stepping back to inspect his work, Achiu nodded in satisfaction. "Anything else you need?"

Kai got a bit giddy at Lura's offer, "Ohhhh, yes please, that'd be so cool." He quickly balanced the cane on her claws, regretting his speed a bit as he settled back into his spot, gently rubbing around his side wound.

Lura gave a feral grin as she inhaled. Excitement was evident in every move she made. Wrapping her claws carefully around the cane, she exhaled a jet of white flames, being careful not to set fire to it. As she breathed, she rotated the cane so it blackened evenly. When she finished she placed it in the water and then repeated the process twice more until the wood shined.
There you are Kai, I hope it's satisfactory.
She said and placed it in front of him.
She began to return to her lounging position when she suddenly went into a violent coughing fit. It progressed until she was breathing fire with every cough and she finally plunged her head and neck into the water and drank large gulps in the hopes of stopping the attack.

Achiu turned his head and looked at Lura as she began coughing hard. When she began coughing fire, he turned his entire body toward her. "Are you alright?"

Lura heard the green addressing her and when she raised her head from the water she fought to hold back her fit but was overcome and coughed a large jet of flames over the water. It might have looked comical if Lura wasn't heaving to catch her breath again. She shape shifted to human form to stop the inferno.
She completed the shift and fell to the ground, shaking now. She stopped coughing but now appeared to be in a lot of pain.
My body hurts all over. Like I crashed headfirst into the ground.
She said and lay curled up on the ground.
