Howdy do, folks, time now for another review!
This time, I'll be covering a most interesting Wii title...
Yep! The sequel to paper mario: The Thousand Year door, takes Mario and co. to a whole new dimension of adventure!
The Story starts out with the telling of the Dark Prognosticus, a book that foretell of the destruction of worlds and such... The holder of this book, Count Bleck, aims to see about this. Eventually, his scheme proceeds to involve Peach and Bowser the Koopa King, with a... most unlikely union of sorts... with Mario (and Luigi) venturing after them, it all has them wind up in the town of Flipside, a location between dimensions, so to speak.
Anyhoo, the game plays out mainly from a 2-D perspective...

...or so you think! Using mario's special power, you can flip to the 3D plane!

This is useful for solving whatever puzzles that come your way. Quite a mind-blowing concept, really...
Nowadays, most game don't have the point system anymore. It kinda went outta style. But they brought it back in this game! Now, when you achive a certain amount of points, you Level Up. So while it takes out the turn-based battling, it still retains the RPG charm.
Of course Mario's main way of offense is jumping on enemies. but it can't work ALL the time! That's where the Pixls come in. The Pixls you meet during your journey each boast a special ability that will come in handy whatever the situation! Such Pixls include:
Boomer, who can blow things up, much like a bomb.
Dottie, who can shrink you down to fit in small spaces...
And Fleep, who can... well, flip things around!
Fleep... where have I heard this name around here before...?
Also, this game isn't shy on clever VG references! Who can forget this line?
“BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. I AM ERROR. PRESS ANY KEY TO RESTART. ...SYSTEM NOT FOUND. INSERT INSTALL DISC. DISC NOT FOUND. PLEASE CONFIRM DISC COVER IS CLOSED. READ ERROR. INSERT BOOT DISC AND PRESS ENTER. NO RESPONSE. SYSTEM MAY BE BUSY OR MELTING INTO SLAG. APPLICATION ERROR. SAVE YOUR WORK AND QUIT. YOU LOST EVERYTHING. WAY TO GO, GENIUS. WAITING FOR PROCESSORS. "404 computer hamsters not found." THREAT LEVEL UPGRADED TO JELLY ROLL 1. DETONATION IMMINENT. BEEBLEBLIP! C:/ run query identification C:/ run insult generator C:/ results: go away yeti-lip! CTRL ALT DEL!”
Anyway, if you haven't played this game before, I highly recommend it.
(Sorry if this review seems rather... forced and short. I'm just wracking my brain about things at the moment.)

I played that game for 13 hours straight the day after I got it.
The final boss of that game was so much fun!

Yeah, and he was storyline relevant in this one, had his own adventure in the last one, and was mostly just there in the first one but he was there and he did talk.

The answer to the quiz is True True False. I mean it was common knowledge.

I still enjoy thousand year door. But sometimes you just cant beat the classics. Jumpin on heads never gets old...

J of The Wind I still enjoy thousand year door. But sometimes you just cant beat the classics. Jumpin on heads never gets old... Did you know you can still pick up enemies after you deplete their HP?
You have to act quick before they disappear though.

Some constructive criticism. When the words pop up in red lettering it takes awhile for it to get to a game screen they can be seen against, for legibility purposes I'd suggest a less scriptlike font possibly with an outline that would help to make it more visible.

Yeah, I tried to find a good font with an outline, but all of them were still really hard to read.

I'd suggest not having the words red then because colors like red are hard to distuingish for some people.
