Let's take a short rp break to celebrate something I overlooked.
On June 25, 2010, (page 113 Breezeclan) when Spadestripe was a mere kit, she confessed her love to Pepperpaw. He accepted on that same day.
In the middle of October (No exact date or page) Spadestripe realized she was pregnant with Pepperpaw's kits.
It was on Friday, December 3rd (page 347 Breezeclan) that Spadestripe, while pregnant, was taken away from her mate by eagles. One page and one day later, Pepperpaw's dear sister lost her life to the birds that took his mate.
on Sunday, December 5th (page 43 Forest Outskirts) that Spadestripe gave birth to four kits, finally being re-united with Pepperpaw on Sunday, December 12th (page 47 Forest Outskirts) after trudging through snow with one stillborn kit and a wounded bodyguard.
After 305 pages, the love of Pepperpaw and Spadestripe still stays strong. Let us celebrate!

 M a p l e l e a f'Tis the evening calm and clear,
The rustling of the maple leaves,
The whisper of wind through the grass...══════════════════════════════════════════
[ The small calico she-cat had been watching the moor with forlorn eyes. She watched as rabbits scurried across, but she couldn't have made it down to catch them fast enough. She watched the wind whip snow up and cary it to a new location, dropping it ever so gently, like it was some piece of old prey that was rotten. Mapleleaf laid down, resting her chin on her paws. She felt the warm sunlight on her pelt, warming her ever so slightly against the cold snow. But nothing could warm her heart. The only one she actually loved was gone. She would never see him again.
Sighing, Mapleleaf pulled herself to her paws, planning on going back to camp. It was then when she heard snow crunching and the sound of paws, but she didn't care. She just sat and stared out onto the moor. Suddenly she heard a familiar voice. Thinking it impossible, she twitched her ears and didn't look the cat's way. She must have imagined it. But something told her to look up. She glanced up and over, seeing Embergaze- the one cat that she thought was dead. Her face lit up, her eyes holding a spark that had long dissipated since he left. Pulling herself to her paws, she shook the snow out of them and ruffled her fur. Her whiskers twitched eagerly, her ears pointed forward. How had he come back? She took three delicate and gentle steps forward, but stopped. What if he didn't feel the same way? It would be really awkward! Pausing, she looked at the ground, then back up at Embergaze, meeting his fiery gaze for which he was named. ]
"You came back . . . But why? Why did you leave? Why did you come back? Why did you come all the way out here?" Mapleleaf asked, the questions pouring from her. She wondered all these things, but one question stood above all else. But she dare not ask it. ══════════════════════════════════════════My soul has settled, at long last,

Moonkit & Sunkit We may look alike, but we're different. ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ ((Yay kitty lover's celebration! :3 ))
[The two nodded towards Bluemoon, a look gleam of happiness spotted i their green eyes.] "Alright Bluemoon! Have fun hunting!" The twins encouraged. [The twins then turned their heard towards Smokekit, their similar gazed meeting his unique blue ones. Sunkit let out a happy grin while Moonkit remained his emotionless one. Even though Moonkit didn't show a smile, he still felt that warm feeling in his blood, the feeling of joy.]
[The two nodded in similar motions, Sunkit's eyes filled with more excitement than Moonkit's.] "Sure, we should play something we all enjoy. Those fighting games get boring sometimes." the twins said. [Sunkit's smile grew as he thought of an idea.] "What about a game we made up?" Sunkit suggested. "While one of us count to ten, the others have to hide. The objective of the game is for the counter to look for all the hiders." Sunkit explained, with a kind tone. [Moonkit rolled his eyes, not showing excitement but still feeling he wants to play.] "That's such a childish game, you still like to play that?" Moonkit asked.
[Sunkit showed his pouty look once more, his cheeks puffed out a bit.] "Hey brother! It might be childish but that doesn't mean you can make fun of the game!" Sunkit exclamined. [Moonkit let out a slight sigh and nodded.] "Fine fine, I have nothing better to do anyways." Moonkit said. [Sunkit's puffy cheeks disappeared and was replaced with a bright, happy gaze. Moonkit gave his brother a soft gaze, not showing a smile but at least a kind gaze.] "But promise me you'll come with me to play tricks on the warriors later?" Moonkit asked.
[Sunkit nodded with enthusiasm.] "Of course of course! Smokekit, are you in?" Sunkit asked Smokekit, with a happy smile.

[I couldn't help it though, and began to laugh at my fall, hoping Shadekit hadn't seen it. I hoped this happy feeling could last forever, but I could already feel the presence of the voice in the back of my mind. It had been very quiet ever since the news about Galestar, but it was starting to make it's return. I shuddered, and turned back to Siegekit]

[Embergaze's heart raced as the she-cat's face lit up, and his face lit up at the sight of her excitement. However, he noticed her holding herself back as she sat back down. His old insecurities came rushing back. Am I too sudden? Maybe I sound too tomly. ((Manly...?)) Perhaps I scared her. Maybe she already knew I was here. Maybe she doesn't care. Maybe-
The flood of thoughts halted when she spoke, as if her words brought all of his being to attention. He stared at her, fascinated with these feelings, and slightly proud that he no longer held shame to feel them.
Twitching his ears, he lowered his eyes, shifting on his feet as she continued to ask. He was hoping maybe for one question in particular, but it never arose. His pelt burned as his ears lay flat, and he nervously shifted on his feet again in the awkward silence.
He couldn't take it anymore. He hadn't even heard or payed attention to what she was asking (just the smooth sound of her voice), and now he felt his feelings bubbling from his stomach and up his throat. He tried to hold back, but all the emotions-the fear of being killed, the remorse for the love he never had, the joy at returning safely, and the bewilderment of not seeing her- they all forced through his jaws like a panicked bird in flight from death's grasp.]
"Mapleleaf I've spent alongtimealone and I didalotofthinking and I can'ttakeitanymore so I came herehopingIcouldtellyou that Iloveyou more than anythinginthewholewideworld which is reallydifficultformetosay because I'mnotgoodatthesetypesofthings and I don't usually have muchexperienceinbeingromantic but I just thoughtIshouldtellyou before my heartexplodes sorry," he sputtered all at once.
[Once he finished he took a sharp inhale of breath, terrified and thrilled all in one moment. His eyes were wide like a deer facing its killer and his ears were flat. His fur was puffed out, making him seem bigger than before, and his nose trembled in the cool air. The sunlight hit his eyes, lighting them up in golden brilliance, but he could not see that. Instead, he could only feel shame and horror at his haphazard confession, and found himself wishing he had planned it all out.

[Pebbleheart's eyes shaded with concern, feeling a sudden rush of worry going through her. She decided not to make eye contact, not wanting to cause tension in her mate. But still...there was deffinitely something wrong. For now, she will enjoy the warmth of her mate, but later on she will find out...even if it means encountering fights or problems between the two. But they should face it together. Her heavy eye lids covered the green shade of her eyes, feeling her stomach empty as ever. She opened her eyes, the first image coming to her sight was the fresh kill pile, her mouth watering with hunger.] "You stay here, i'm going to get something to eat." Pebbleheart said, feeling the warmth of her mate being replaced with the vile, cold wind. [Once Pebbleheart scanned the fresh-kill pile, she noticed none of her present favourite was spotted, a black bird. She let out an exhausted sigh, disliking the sudden craving for black bird. Normally, she would ignore the cravings...but this time it was too strong. Probably because of Galestar's absence, taking care of the clan can take lots of energy out of her. Pebbleheart made her way to the entrance of the camp, rushing through the forest to hunt. She then noticed Bluemoon and Serpentfang leaving earlier, maybe she can join their hunting.]

They heard his words, and kept an emotionless gaze for a second. Then they bend their heads back, laughing in amusement, Sunkit's laugh a bit high pitched than his brother's. Once they looked back at Siegekit, they had a small grin, shaking their head side to side slightly as they spoke, still chuckling as they spoke.] "Ha, please Siegekit. Anyone can beat Shadekit." Moonkit admitted, with an amused tone. [Sunkit let out a giggle.] "Yeah, no offence but your way stronger than Shadekit. I mean, everyone in your family is pretty tough except for wimpy Shadekit over there." Sunkit continued. [Both twins then managed to stop laughing, a smile spreading across their face.] "Don't be offended, we're only saying the truth. Even Birdkit beat him and we all knew that was going to be the outcome." the twins said together.
[Then their smiles disappeared, knowing Shadekit isn't the strongest but knew he was still a kind kit. Moonkit went back to his emotionless, bored look while Sunkit to his happy go lucky look.] "Hey Siegekit, we were asking Smokekit if he wanted to play our little hiding game, your familiar with the rules right? Wan't to play?" Sunkit asked with a kind tone. [Moonkit let out a slight sigh as he gazed into the distance.] "Yeah...what a childish game though. [ Mapleleaf's bright green eyes watched Embergaze's brilliant golden ones intently, swiveling her ears so she could unjumble the words. So far what she caught was he'd spent time alone, he'd come back to tell her something was difficult, and he should tell her something before his heart exploded. Cocking her head in puzzlement, she tried to understand and digest the rest of his words. Realization dawned on her like a bright new star had descended in her mind. If cats could whoop for joy, that's what she'd be doing right now. She suddenly jumped forward with enough force to bowl him over, despite her size. Overwhelming happiness sent such warmth and power flooding through her veins she felt she was unstoppable. He'd felt the same way! ]
"I'd hopedyou'dsaythat. Itwasreally lonelywithoutyou and I feelthesameway!" Mapleleaf stuttered, her words jamming together just like Embergaze's had. She looked at the ground bashfully, but looked back up into Embergaze's face and was breathing deeply after slurring all her words together.
[ Mapleleaf buried her nose in Embergaze's chest fur, her small head silding easily in under his chin against his powerful chest. She breathed in his familiar and comforting scent, letting warmth tingle all over her body. She didn't exactly know what to say, but just as she pullled away from him, a little, squeaky sneeze emitted from the small she-cat. ]
"Acheew!" Mapleleaf squeaked, falling back on her haunches. She shook her head to clear it, looking like the picture of a kit's innocence. Her size might have helped a little bit, too. ══════════════════════════════════════════My soul has settled, at long last,
