She's gotten really good. Keno turned and thrust his right arm towards Jade. "Tiger Wave!" The large amount of ki was coming impendingly upon both Jade and her attack. The explosion was much larger than that from above, but Keno stood his ground to take in the view of the smoke that was growing around him, hiding Jade from view, his left arm began to bleed a metallic color as he dashed into the fog using Signature Confusion as he moved. "Four."

Furrowing his brow at the use of the Ki based tech his mind harkened back to days where most combatants utilized mainly their own honed martial arts skill. Though he was a magic user he preferred to utilize his own combat skill. Yawning he continued to watch the bout in silence noticing the owner of the facility in the corner of his eye.

Jade fired her blast off, not caring for the moment if it hit or not. She put up her guard as the fog surrounded her, glancing around. she could feel Keno's energy, but also knew he was a master of wind techniques. It wouldn't be wise to trust what she couldn't see.
Jade powered up slightly, her increasing ki creating a slight air vortex around her, disapating hte fog. Her nose twitched as she tried to pick up Keno's scent, her eyes darting. Again gathering Ki, she fired off a small, but powerful blast where her intincts told her to.

::As Kendo has also no doubt noted, there are quite a lot of ki techniques flying about inside the ring, leaving Deity somewhat anxious to see when they will actually get into it and battle. Indeed, they are still warming up, but it would be nice for them to start fighting - or at least, what Deity calls fighting.
The tall Orinian works with a ki-based syle, though he does not prefer battles in which manifested ki attacks are the only ones used, or in which actual combat is scarce. A soft sigh escapes his lips, and Deity leans forward, uncrossing his legs and his arms, leaning his elbows onto his thighs and resting his chin in his hands.::

Keno appeared behind Jade, his ki seeming to be in front of her, gradually returning to his body. "That's five," he said matter of factly as he held his mineral in the form of a bagger at her throat. But rather than attempt an attack he executed a blast of wind from his central location and rid the ring of the clearing smoke. "I promised ten, but I have to be leaving. That said, you have only five moves when next we meet." Keno seemed to be overly confident that if he did not want it Jade could not touch him, but in truth she had caught him off gaurd. Maybe it was skill, or maybe it was just dumb luck. Either way, she was a better warrior for it, but he could not yet admit this to her for she might lighten her training. "Till then, keep training." And with that he was gone yet again for his own training, practice, and living duties.

Jade smirked at Keno as he came up behind her, knowing full well that his mineral was at her throat. She nodded at him, confidence in her eyes.
"I'll get you next time....even if just barely."
She grinned nodding as he left. Slowly, she floated down to teh bottom of the stadium, standing in the ring. Jade slowly let out a heavy sigh.
"Still relying too much on Ki...but I have little choice. Keno, and most of the others are much stronger than me physically. So for the moment, distant combat is my better option."
She mumbled her strategies to herself as she walked to the edge of the ring, seemingly oblivious to Kendo and Deity in the ring.
((Later Keno-san. I might have to go for dinner shortly too, I can smell it. But that won't be more than 15 minutes or so.))

See the battle come and end he crossed his ams over his chest thouroughly unimpressed, but it was prehaps do to the fact that they appeared to be old friends and thus were holding back their true skill. Cracking his knuckles he yawned looking to the others still present.
"I wonder what this battle would have escalated to had it had more time."
Clapping his hands together the large sword upon his burst into black flames vanishing from view.

....hey Jade...
::Much louder than his usual voice, Deity calls out to Jade from his seat only a few feet behind the barricade, but just about thirty feet away from Jade as he nears the matted area outside of the ring. His right hand is lifted, waving her over to where he is.
Jade would be able to see a smile on the Tonepian's face, but his expression is hidden from her sight, both his scarf and glasses directly obscurring his face, while the brim of his large hat creates a dark shadow over his eyes. Among other memories, Deity has a particularly fond memory of Jade when he looks at his hat, one that brings a tint of reness to his face.
Upon that thought and image crossing his mind, he immediately drops his hand back to his lap, waiting quietly for Jade to come over, or respond in some other fashion. He glances idly to Kendo still at the entrance, saying nothing his direction just yet.::

Having spoken rhetorically he rose to his feet yawning a bit. Moving with his usual fluid grace he made way toward a corner settling down in silence. Closing his eyes he sat to meditate blocking out everything else. Everyone had their reasons for their actions and who was he to judge. Such behavior lead to elitism and he was far from being an expert in any field.

((And I'm back!! xd ))
Jade lifted her head as she lightly jumped out of the ring and onto the mats, turning and smiling as she saw Deity in the stands. She quickly grabbed ehr shoes and hat, and picked them up, walking over to twhere her friend was sitting in the chairs behind the barricade. She flopped down into a chair next to his, smiling still and pulling her boots on, her hat resting on the back of hte chair.
"Hey Deity.....were you watching that entire time...?"
She felt a bit embaressed, knowing that she could have done better, but also knowing she could have done much worse.

::The tall boy nods silently as his initial response, turning his head only slightly and following the young Saiya-jin girl with his eyes as he takes a seat in the chair next to him. He giggles softly before commenting.::
Mm...Deity was watching...not bad, keeping up with Keno...but he wasn't so hot, either.
::Reaching up with his left hand, he grabs the edge of his old scarf, tugging it down and tucking it under his chin, keeping his face turned sideways so he can see Jade.::
You did well to match him...

Jade smiled, finishing up her boots and putting her feet down, leaning back against the chair and sighing softly, the soft cushioning feeling good at the moment.
"Thanks...though I know, if he wanted, he could have just taken me out with a few well placed hits. My tactics have improved I think...but I still need to bring up my physical strength. That will always be something I have to work on if I want to compete with you guys..."
Jade smiled back at Deity, closing her eyes for a moment as she stretched out in the chair.
