She shifted slightly and looked at him. “Well, it just looks pretty deep, and know I only suggest doing this later for your safety.” She stared down into the water, and slowly put one foot in, and then quickly pulled it back out. It was cold!

Hakim nodded. "We should do this in the middle of the summar then. That way the water is half way gone." He knew that water dried up in the summar. It would probably be best for them to learn in shallow water, and less active water.
He turned back towards the bank splashing water everywhere. He tried his best not to splash her as he walked up on the bank. The water dripped from his chest and legs, but that didn't bother him at all.

Ambrosia silently watched as he walked out of the water. He was now soaked, dripping all over, but he didn’t seem very cold. There was a slight breeze blowing, so she imagined that he would be. And summer was fast approaching, so it would be warmer and the water would be shallower, she could wait to learn to swim. But she didn’t want him to get sick. “Summer sounds like the perfect time to learn, and aren’t you cold?”

A sudden breeze hit Hakim as he stood there letting the water drip off him. It was slightly cold, yet he wasn't shivering. His body was as still as ever. "Oh? It's a little cold, yes." He said.
He smiled. "Though, the sun will dry me off soon enough." He said shaking his right front paw away from the other.

Ambrosia tilted her head slightly to the right and watched as he stood there like a statue. She certainly would be cold, shivering. But he had a point, the sun would dry him off, and it was getting hotter as it got later. Or was that just her?
“I’m just afraid you could get sick. Do you think the sun will dry you fast enough?” She questioned, and waited patiently for his answer. Or as patiently as she could manage.

He chuckled. "Oh, I won't get sick. Or if I do, it won't be something too serious." He said simply hoping that'll make the young one stop her worrying. "I'm pretty sure the sun will dry me fast."
He took a step more away from the edge of the water. He twitched his feet as he walked to get bits of water off that he could. He hoped that he didn't accidentally flick any towards Ambrosia.

She gave him a glance as he shook water off of himself. She backed away, so that the water that seemed to be going everywhere wouldn’t land on her. “If your sure then.” Shaking her head at him, she sat down in the sun and watched as he lay out to get dry.
Sighing, she looked up, staring out the slowly passing clouds.

Hakim smiled at her and turned his head towards the Sun. It wouldn't take too long at all to get his fur dried out. He sat down and started licking one of his paws to help the process a little bit.
He looked over at the kit. "Anything wrong?" He asked her with a raised eye brow.

Shaking her head in the negative, she answered also, "No, not really." Now what was she to do? She could just stare at the clouds all day, but that was to get boring sooner than later. Sighing, she looked over to him. He was of course drying; the sun was making him dry a lot faster. She looked at the clouds again, wondering what to do next.

Hakim was mostly dry now, though it was mostly because of his licking himself. "We can do something now, I'm as dry as I'll get for now." He said with a smirk. He didn't know what little kits did, since he didn't remember anything from his past.

Ambrosia looked at him from the corner of her eye. “I don’t know what to do.” She thought for a second, trying to think of all the games she had played. Up until this point, she had always been playing by herself, with the exception of a butterfly. Then an idea hit. “Let’s play, tag?” That was a fun game. “Or hide and go seek?”

He tilted his head. Games that he wasn't familiar with. "explain the rules." He said kindly. Sure, they wouldn't be that hard right? He could get the hang of playing this game. He smiled and had all his attention onto her to not miss one explanation

She looked to him and started to explain. “Well, tag is when someone is it, so they chase the others who are not it, and whoever that person touches first is then it. And they chase the others around. And that is pretty much it.” When she explained it like that, it sounded boring.
“Hide and go seek I have only heard about. I think it is when a lot of Ulaya hide, and one tries to find them. Maybe, when they found someone, they were then gonna be the one finding.” She pondered this. Having no clue, she just shrugged. “Or at least, that’s what I think.”

He chuckled. "Well, I guess we can't play Hide-n-go seek. We only have two." He said. Tag seemed fine, he wasn't that fast, and it would also help his fur dry completely. "Tag seems pretty simple for me. " He smiled. "I don't think I would do very good in Hide-n-go seek." he said with another smile.
It sounded like a game he wouldn't enjoy too much if there was a bunch of other ulaya involved. But if she wanted to play that with others and him, he would most likely say yes and play along with them.

“Alright, we can play tag! Just to let you know, I haven’t played this either.” She smiled, and laughed. She pointed to him. “You’re it!” She tagged him and then sprinted off, running through the trees, and not hitting them! She could still hear the river, she was running along it only through the forest, and she wondered if he was chasing her or not.
