Kanji's question threw Strale for a curve and he wasn't entirely sure how to respond to it. "Well...yes, but..." he sighed, "People change. I won't forget my past, but it is what it is, my past. I'm moving forward now, detached from what I was like."
Strale was glad that Kanji finally accepted him. "Thanks. Not just for allowing me to fight with you, but for trusting me. Thats what I want. People usually can't trust Tigerals because...," he paused, then continued speaking, "because of what we are. Maybe all my race is looking for is people to trust in them again, like they did a long time ago."

Kanji saw that the question threw him, if only for a second. That what it had ment to do, throw him so he had to think about what he said first. And Kanji liked the answer he gave. More and more this young Tigeral was proving to be a good choice for the fight.
"I remember how the Tigerals once were treated, and their downfall. Though the cause of it is under much debate." He said after a while, looking on as the scene played itself out.

Strale nodded at what Kanji said. "Yeah, not even I know what really happened," he said, laughing a little. "So...what is it we're doing exactly in order to fight Shu and the rest?" he asked, not knowing any specific details.

He would let the knowledge of the Tigeral fall stay a secret for now, seeing as that wasnt really the matter at hand, nor did he have the time to explain it all to the other.
He was quite glad when the conversation shifted to how best to befeat Shu and his newly forming army of villains. "We are waiting for information at the moment. They move to much to have good history, and its hard to attack what might not be there tomorrow." He said, looking at Strale to see if he would bother to protest this little bit of information.

(Considering I know absolutely nothing about the Tigeral's downfall anyways. xp )
Strale thought for a minute on what Kanji had said. "Your right...that does make it difficult. If we could just find out if they stopped someplace for a little while, then we would have time to attack. But, we have no way of getting that information anywa-," Strale stopped midword, his mind calculating.
The idea he had come up with was dangerous...very, but it would get them the information they needed. Though it was possible that Kanji and the rest of them had thought of it already, so he had to ask. "Um..Kanji...do you happen to have anyone on the inside? I mean...if not...I could..." he didn't finish what he was saying, knowing that Kanji would understand his meaning.

(( Love being the Captain!))
Kanji was nodding his liof head slowly as Strale talked about the inaccuracy of the Villians placement, but opened his eyes when she stopped mid word to think something over.
Listening to what he said, the Ancient put the two together and understood what he was asking of the Ancient. It was a very dangerous thing to ask, it would be more so to pull off. If the liof had hands, he would have put one under his chin to think about it. "What you are suggesting is very Dangerous. I would rather find out if we do have someone on the inside before sending another." He said, knowing they didnt, not by any leave he ever gave.

( xp Me too for the exact same reason)
Strale thought for a moment before answering, "Even so. From what I can surmise, if you have a person on the inside, he or she would either have to be a mortal or a defective. They would notice if any Ancients or Heroes were there. And I doubt that any of the bad guys would defect, being bad is too...addicting. So, that means that if one of us is in there, then they would have yo be a mortal and be the same as me. Personally, I think I would have a better chance than them in the first place because of my...background. And having two in there would make things somewhat easier as well. So, all in all, it doesn't matter if you have someone in there or not, I would still be a good shot," he explained, trying to convince the loif. "And besides," he said with a sharp grin, "I don't have any problem with danger, as you should well know."

Nili busted into a fit of laughter.
"You think you can get into the villian's gangs and survive. They aren't that easily fooled. They will smell the Ancients on you a mile away and run."
Oro looked to his daughter, glaring. He began to talk in his sandpaper like voice.
"Go find Mina. She will help you. Tell her I sent you and she will be very hospitable."
Lilith listened intently to what everyone said, feeling rather bored.
Yunad couldn't help but butt in.
"I could give it a go. As long as they don't recognize me I should do well enough."

Kanji listened to what all Strale had to say, finding his reason to be rather sharp and thought out. The burst of laughter from the other ancient caught his attention away though as he turned his head to look at her. Had the the want to fight Oro, he would have insulted the way she treated everyone, but because of his respect for the old dragon, he kept his jaws shut.
Breathing a sigh as Yunad opted to go to, Kanji shook his head and looked about at everyone. "One will go. Any more and we will get found out. But I suggest finding Mina first, as Oro says." He replied to everyone.

Yunad pouted, knowing it was best. It was hard to miss two modern heroes walking around together. But since Mina didn't look like a hero she was more likely to get away with it.
Oro smiled at the loif, knowing his daughter was becoming a handful to everyone around them. But he was old and it was hard to deal with her. She was just as intelligent as him if she ever chose to use her knowledge.
"She lives in Kite."
Oro said as he slowly stood and began to tread back down the other side.
"You guys need to quit coming up here so often. My father is getting old and you are wearing him out."
Nili said as she swept away behind him.
Lilith flipped off the girl, knowing she hadn't seen it but not actually caring. She needed to learn some manners.

(Hi, Damita! Welcome back.)
Strale listened to the conversation between the Ancients and a frown formed on his face. After Oro and Nili's exit, he turned to Kanji in anger. "So am I not fit to go then? Is that your conclusion?! I'm telling you, your heroes will be found out, even if Mina doesn't look like it. Theres still the chance of detection, a chance that is a lot less with me!" he said, his voice rising.

"Cool it."
Yunad shot him a glance. Trying to tell him to calm down. Oro was all knowing and it wasn't good to question that. Especially not in his home.
"If we're gonna talk about this we might want to head off first."
Lilith walked over to Strale, her heels clicking on the ground.
"It's not that you aren't good enough it's that Oro was the one who said it. He knows all. Everything that has happened, everything that is happening and everything that will happen. We are lucky he gives us his words and not to the villians."

Strale's eyes started to darken and then he realized what he was doing, and stopped. Sighing, he said, "Your right, Lilith. I'm sorry. Lets...Lets go find Mina then..." He hung his head, despondent. Why am I like this? Maybe its because i'm a tigeral, but I don't like it. He looked at the ground and lost himself in thoughts of self-dejection.

Lilith took off, her wings making a loud swishing sound as she flew away.
Yunad watched her go and sighed, looking to Strale.
"I guess it's just us then. If Kanji doesn't come with us of course. Kite is about a three day walk from here, unless we can find something else."
She started down the mountain, extremely annoyed that she wore high heeled boots at this point in time.

Strale nodded and followed Yunad down the mountain, still looking at the ground the whole while. Gloomy thoughts pervaded his conscious and it was pure luck that he didn't trip multiple times while following her. I don't want to be like this. Tigerals can't be programmed for evil...or there could be no trust in the gods for us. But...I can still feel it. That anger and hatred and violence thats wants to kill...is that who I really am and who i'm doomed to be?
(You gonna read my mind?)
