Rendo saw that Ari wasn't playing attenction and started to head toward the nearest bush. He knew when he wasn't wanted and as he walked he kept his head staright and calm. He could always go to another area if so.

Kazuki stoped and set down his meal.
"I am going to eat in peace and under the gaze of the moon." Kazuki though he was a kit was pretty smart. He already could hunt. Prayed the moon. He didnt need someone to tell him what to do. Plus others were just throuble. He leaned back down to pick up his meal.

This could start to get frustrating, trying to keep both kits around, Ari thought, as he watched Rendo start walking off.
"Enjoy your meal, then." He was wondering why Kazuki had paused for a bit, just sitting there, but he wasn't going to ask, because he needed to see why Rendo was leaving now.
"That's very smart of you, trying to train your sense of smell, instead of being too dependent on your eyes. I think you'll be a good scout when you grow up. Maybe you're already a good scout now."
Starting his own tribe while trying to manage everything by himself was going to be impossible, wasn't it?

Rendo stoped and turned around showing respect, he knew better to honor adults then to mouth back. "Thank you." he started at the new kit with unintersted eyes. How was this new kit, must of been important if Ari was sucking up to it like that, then again he was sucking up to him also.

"Ari remember the moon has two faces...That of light and that of dark..." Kazuki then picked up his meal and walked over to a near by clearing where he ate quietly and in peace. Though he couldnt help but be curious of what he was doing with that other kit.

"You're welcome. I would like to see your scouting skills sometime, Rendo."
Rendo could be a scout for his tribe, if the kit was interested. And he looked like he could probably make a good one, too.
"What are you talking about?" Ari asked Kazuki, before he could stop himself. Yes, he knew that, but what prompted the kit to say it? Kazuki was an odd one, Ari quickly decided.

Rendo watched him. "..." He usally scouted alone and haveing someone trail behind him didn't really appel to him but he kept his mouth shut. "If you wish." He said as hsi ears started to twich and he looked into the forest, he closed his eyes and listened to the area around them. He had heard a rusteling.

Kazuki returned to look at Ari.
"I don't need to repeat myself..." He said softly and then walked by Ari again. He was goign to go explore and learn about the land. He hoped to understand it better and learn more he would know what to pray for.

Trying to keep two different conversations going at once was beginning to give Ari a headache. One would talk, and then the other, and he would barely have time to reply to both before one of them said something else...
"What do you hear?" he asked Rendo, quietly, seeing Rendo's ears moving, probably scanning the area for sound.
"I meant, what caused you to say that?" Ari asked, trying to not snap at Kazuki. The headache he was getting from having two conversations at once was making him really irritable.

Rendo looked at the two with annoyed eyes. "Quiet." He said to the kit and to Ari indicateing he was trying to concentrate. Then turning back to the sound he listend. He heard movement, a little at times then more, it was from a certain area as he thought more and more about it trying to recgonize the sounds.

Kazuki only shook his head.
"You must find that out on your own..." It was then that Kazuki disappeared but he stoped when he heard the other kit speak. Finding it odd he began to climb up a near by tree. He laid down on a near by branch and waited for what was coming to pass.

Ari tried to listen, and find out what Rendo was hearing, but he couldn't figure out much. Something was moving, and he had some sort of idea where it was coming from, but he couldn't tell how large it was, or what it might be, or anything. Did Rendo know what it was?
He had to find out what Kazuki meant on his own? He was half glad when Kazuki started leaving, so he wouldn't have to try to keep up two conversations at once. But a bit worried, too. He hadn't annoyed the kit to the point of driving him off, had he? They both felt the call from the Moon Fox, it seemed, so surely he hadn't done anything bad enough to break a bond like that, right?
He had no idea what Kazuki meant by his words. 'The moon has two faces...Of light and dark...', or something like that. Was it just his imagination, or had there been a slight emphasis on the word 'two'?

Rendo open his eyes with a jolt and started to move toward a bush slowly his eyes wide as he walked back slowly and silently the only word he said was. "Moutain lion..." He said as he backed into a thorn bush hideing. He had heard smaller nosie, of woodland animals moveing toward there dens and homes to get away.

Zazuki noticed Ari was to distracted to move. Kazuki got ready and then pounced on Ari forcing him into a nearby bush just as the lion came through chasing a small rabbit. Kazuki stayed on Ari to make sure he stayed still. Kazuki also put his paw on Ari's mouth to keep him quiet.

Ari heard Rendo say something, but he was too busy puzzling over Kazuki's cryptic words to really notice what it was. The next thing he knew, something small had tackled him, the shock and momentum sending him into a push, and then there was a black paw over his mouth...
He nearly bit Kazuki's paw out of annoyance, when he saw the mountain lion go running past. Had his life just been saved by a kit?
