It seems my little Zyanya is growing up too fast for me. Thus far she has been controllable....somewhat anyway. She got her ears pierced with Scorpion studs that were gold as well a hoop in her right ear at the tip. She has also been fawning over a silver bracelet with a green gem in it ever since she had gotten her ears pierced. I think she said a boy gave it to her, but she never goes into much detail with me. She doesn't like thinking that she is a girly girl after all.
Though I am glad she is keeping her hair long, it keeps growing and I don't want it to stop. She seems to think the hair makes her more, mysterious, though I think it just makes her look pretty.
Good though that her boob obsession seems to be waning...i just hope she doesn't notice she is 'budding' otherwise that whole situation may start all over. She continues to wear black, though had started to gather bits of my old makeup and tried applying it...she can't find good colors and thus resorts to black. Joy.
She continues to abhor pants and long sleeves, though she has moved from skirts to short shorts and long knee socks to cover her legs (the sock usually range in any pattern though normally are black and white) and chains usually adorn her shorts in her usuall gothy way. Her shirts are like muscles shirts, though cut too short for my liking, ending just below the ribcage, she claims it helps her wings, though I have hardly seen her use the things. All in all she is getting too dark, though she is loosening up.
She doesn't seem to paranoid with new people as she use to, which is a good sign, though sometimes she is a bit too blunt for her own good, but enough of that. Zyanya is anxious about getting her dragon, mainly cause she fears the dragon will act / be like Chath's. I certainly hope not, dealing wiht one arrogant dragon is enough thank you. Though now i will have to find more room in the house....

Another phone call . . .Orpheus Solon jayoku Orpheus Solon jayoku Orpheus Solon "Thats fine, Ter will be cleaning the bathroom since he was a part of the mess. I probably wouldn't have had a clue had Baroness not been standing outside the bathroom pawing at the door. Currently I have her wearing something dry since her cloths got soaked and shes waiting on the couch with Ter." He said, "I will keep an eye on the two of them until you get here." He was didn't really realize he was leaving out any key information as he had been the one to see what had happened, it all had been cleared up with him so... it should be ok all around. Or so he figured... Jayoku nodded her head out of habit more than anything. She knew he couldn't see her doing that, but ah well. Twirling a peice of hair she smiled into the phone. "Well as long as she didn't get into trouble. Did she do well on her skills test?" she asked hopeful that the child at least behaved for that part.
It was a touch an go thing with Zyan. She either behaved fine or was totally irrational and out of control. She was starting to wonder if she was bi-polar."She did very well, was able to do as was needed and in quite a fun manner." One could tell by his voice that he was smiling, then again he enjoyed his classes as they were far from boring. In fact most of them were a lot of fun! This had been one of those, "She passed with flying colors and colorful bits of flying fruit." "Fruit?" Jayoku laughed at the description, her laugh was quite light and musical. One could tell that she was fairly easy going just by that laugh. Though Zyan would have a most different opinion of her. "well I won't have her stay too long. I should be there to pick her up...oh in half and hour? Or is that too long? I am sure you must be busy. . ." Jay didn't think she had ever met this Orpheus guy. She wondered if he was single. "Yeah, I think a half an hour is fine. And not to busy as hers was the last class for a while today." He said, assuring Jayoku so that she didn't have to hurry to quickly or anything. He couldn't help but smile, "I will see you when you get here. For now I will go and check on the kids. It was good talking with you."
"yes yes, see you soon. thank you for calling me." she replied sounding a bi distant as she tried to remember if Chath had any classes with this teacher. She couldn't bring a face to a name so she assumed not. Hanging up the phone she then went to pretty herself up just in case.

After math of the sticky reuinion . . .
It was inevitable, they drove in silence in the car on the way home from Ter's place. Jayoku had been surprised by Zyan's rather shred up apparal. Orpheus had told her to bring a change of clothes and so she did, Zyan was wearing them now, the shredded remnants of Orpheus's shirt lay in the backseat.
The silence was enough to drive one mad, the hum of the car, not even the radio was on. Zyan couldn't figure it out. Orpheus said her mom wasn't angry, then why the silent treatment? Sure at Orpheus's house she had been pleasant enough acting like nothing was wrong, but now...now Zyan was scared. Yell, say something! Anything!
The silence continued until they got home. Opening the car door Z slid out in a hurry rushing to the other side while her mother got out of the car. Stopping she watched as Jayoku moved towards the house, keys out in her hand as if nothing was wrong. Blinking Zyan followed unsure of how to react. Should she confront her mom? Ask her what was going on?
"Eh..Mama.." she started only to be ignored as her mom opened the door and went inside. Zyan followed unsure of what to do, this was a new one for her. Usually her mom flew off the handle and she at least knew vaguely the reason why she was so angry. But the silent treatment?
By the time Zyan had gotten inside the house she disregarded the basic rule of taking your shoes off at the door and went to find her mother.

Zyanya looked bored as she flipped the card with the torn corner back and forth on her knuckles, she wasn' sure why she had decided to call the kid. Though his smiling sticky face came to mind and she could only smile. Yah ..perhaps she needed to smile again.
After all she had been grounded, she was bored and needed to talk to someone so why not a lil kid? they were more interesting that most people. Besides her mom didn't she wasn't allowed to call Reese.
Laying on her stomach she dailed the number and then waited while listening to the phone ring.
"Hello, this is Edge's residence," Wilbur's voice stoically answered as he picked up the phone. He never would get used to saying that, but with Edge being, well, Edge...there wasn't much else he could say.
There was noise in the background...somewhere, Reese was playing with a set of Legos. Building a "mountain"...a very tall mountain that looked more like a tower than anything else...he made his little Lego men climb to the very top.
Eyebrows furrowing at the sound of Wilburs voice, she automatically hung up the phone. Staring at the receiver as if she wanted to hit someone's face in, she took a few calming breaths before dialing the number again.
This time..for sure she would hear Reese's voice. Not that stogy old man.
"Hello. Hello?" Wilbur repeated, then with a quizzical look into the phone he hung up. Not having taken two steps away, the phone rang again. A brow raised, he restepped back to the phone and picked up.
"Edge's residence," he said again...his tone no different from the last time he spoke into the receiver. Out in the living room, Reese glanced up from his game fleetingly. Probably another business call for Poppa. He got a lot of those these days...even if he didn't seem very happy about it.
Trying to restrain a growl from coming out she cleared her throat instead. "Is Master Reese home?" She asked her hand gripping the pillow in front of her tightly just in case she got angry. Then she could take it out of the pillow rather than the phone.
She would not hang up on him this time...otherwise this would go no where.
Wilbur blinked, and then his eyes narrowed. He recognized that snappy tone...Z. Of all the people Reese had made friends with, she would be the first one to call him back. And nothing irked him more than her calling him "Master". Wilbur, after all, was not a slave.
"Young Sir will be with you in a moment, Miss Z," he said in as professional a tone as he could muster, placing his hand on the talking end of the phone.
Count backwards from ten...then speak. Do not allow him to hear your frustration...
"Young Sir?" Wilbur finally managed, exhaling a deep breath he hadn't know he'd been holding. "There's a call for you...it's Miss Z."
"Thee?" Reese suddenly perked, bouncing in his wheelchair before quickly wheeling himself out of the living room to where Wilbur stood with the phone. Making grabby hands up at his babysitter, he nearly snatched the reciever from Wilbur's hands.
"Hi Thee!" he spoke loudly, bouncing in his wheelchair again. His first phone call...and it was from Z! How cool was that?
Beside him, Wilbur sighed...and then returned to cleaning the glassware decorations in the hallway.
Gritting her teeth she listened to his...tone. Yes wilbur was trying very hard to stay professional. She wondered what she could do to make him sound like a real person....
Soon though the thought passed as she heard a very young voice speak into the phone. She reconized that speech slur, it was Reese.
"Oh good day to you Reese. How is the little icecream eater? have you had lots of treats since i have seen you?" she asked just happy to hear the tykes cute voice. Her anger melting away nearly instantly though she had a sneaky plan anyway.
"I'm good!" He nearly screamed it, and somewhere in the background Zyan might have heard Wilbur speaking to Reese, saying he didn't have to be so loud. She would hear just fine. "Oh, thorreh Willburr," Reese nearly giggled...his voice much softer and more of a conversational tone when he spoke to Z again.
"Poppa thayth treatth are thpethial...for when I'm good. Tho I get a lot!" He was proud of that. Edge usually gave him a piece of candy or something like that...but ice cream for finishing all of his dinner had quickly become a favorite.
Squinting she tried to figure what Reese was saying. It was harder to make out when she could read the boys lips. Ah...got it.
"So..your a really good boy huh? You want to learn some special word you can call Wilbur? It is very special, you can only say it to Wilbur it is that special." she whispered into the phone her tone sounding a bit too impish.
Reese's eyes widened behind the faceless silence that were phone conversations, and he nodded his head quickly; the movement making a soft whooshing sound against the receiver.
"Yea! Yea, yea! Willburr will like that!" Oh wow! That was so nice of Z! Wilbur had a special name for him, he called Reese "Young Sir" and Poppa was "Sir"! So now Reese would have a name for Wilbur too! "Tell, Thee! Tell!"
In the background, Wilbur's brow arched. What would he like? Anything that little...monstrosity suggested could not be good.
Wearing a smug smile Zyan fidgeted on her stomach before listening to the boys earnest cry of pleasure. Good, now to teach.
"Now this is a special word. Only meant for Wilbur ok? you can't tell anyone else this word or it will become something terrible." she continued her smile deepening.
"Now...I learned this word a little while ago," she continued, she had been trying to learn japanese and...was picking up slowly. "Now the word is....Baka.." she said with a nod of her head, smugly she knew this word meant stupid fool or idiot depending on the context which suited Wilbur perfectly. She wouldn't teach him swear words, but Baka...wasn't a bad word so no harm in teaching him that right?
"Repeat after me now. Baka." She continued.

Meeting a long lost brother?
The house was in disarray, Jayoku was moving back and forth in a rush and Zyanya watched with slight interest. She had been informed someone was coming to live with them. And the whole house was in a uproar.
Chath had been informed that he was to share a room with the person who was coming. Zyan wasn't sure about what Chath felt about the whole thing, but alas she also didn't care.
Standing up she finally managed to move down the hall to where her room was, her dragon still hadn't hatched and sh was getting worried about the fact. What if her dragon never hatched? Would she be the only D-corp child without a dragon? Her thoughts drifted away as Jayoku charged up to her and looked at her sternly.
"Now I want you to behave. Aurora has been through a lot recently and I want you to be nice to him." She lectured waving a fingn er at her, Zyan only rolled her eyes.
So a boy was coming, but what kind of boy had the name of Aurora?
"Not sure why he has to come here..." Zyan lamented dryly as she stretched her arms over her head. This earned herself a glare upon glare from her mother.
"Listen, Aurora was my second Adoptive son, before you and Chath, I have left him to his own ends since he is a teenager and is able to live on his own. But he hurt himself recently and can't be left alone." She continued a worrisome undertone threading through her words.
He had hurt himself? She wondered how...and yet she didn't care. "Yah yah sure whatever. As long as he stays out of my way. . ." she trailed off as she continued into her room, the sound of the door bell ringing at the front door.
Zyan plopped herself down on her bed something about what Jayoku had said bothering her. Aurora was her second adoptive son....so what happened to the first kid? And why was this the first time they were meeting?
Ears perking she could here muffeled words and couldn't help but hop of her bed and peer out of her door, she could see a tall youth standing in front of Jayoku. Blinking she could make out he was blonde and not bad looking as far as boys went, but something about the kid seemed to mask a heavy burnden. The way he held himself, the way he hung his head avoiding eye contact. . . she wasn't sure what it was but something was wrong.
Jayoku was saying something about not to be alarmed by Chath and Zyanya's appearance, but the kid said nothing. Zyan noticed on closer inspection that the teen's right hand was bandaged up. So that must of been what she had been talking about.
He had few belongings it seemed as Jayoku picked up a small bag and the youth carried a instrument in his left hand. Something about the way he gripped the handle made Zyanya tense. It was like watching a bull resisting the urge to rage.
As the pair moved up towards them Zyan ducked her head back into her room and moved to sit on her bed again. There was something about Aurora that reminded her of Ter's brother...a very feminine thing about him even though he was older than both her and Chath she licked her lips and was a bit starteled as Jayoku stopped in front of her doorway, the youth standing beside her looking as if the world had just died for him.
"Zyanya this is your older brother Aurora." Jayoku introduced them, the kid said nothing and only nodded his head in response.
"hey.." was the only thing she could muster in reponse, there was something haunting in that kids eyes, she had never seen a person like this before, it made her shiver.
The silence stretched between the three and finally Jayou managed a half hearted laugh before turning and saying something about showing him Chath's room, the one he would be sharing and then they were gone. Zyan wasn't sure why her heart was racing, something about this kid made her nervous. She didn't like it.
(side note: Aurora comes from the Fables shop and permission was granted by the shop owner to allow me to role play him over here)

Reserved for meeting the green dragon.
It was an exiting day, well a day of mixed feelings anyway. Zyanya sat in the front seat of the car worrying despite the fact she got news that her dragon had finally hatched. Excitement had been her first reaction and then anxiety.
She had never met a green dragon, despite all the people she had met. She wasn't sure what to expect
