This seems like a question that should have been asked somewhere, but I was looking around and didn't see anything.
xd Why do you like Shaman King? Why does it appeal to you?
Well, it seemed like a really awesome anime (which it really turned out to be^_^). The commercials before it came out looked really cool, and I was already a big fan of Yu-Gi-Oh! so when I heard that Shaman King was "made by the creators of Yu-Gi-Oh!" I immediately thought 'Ok, I'm going to like this.
3nodding ' Unfortunately, I didn't see the first few episodes because I didn't know when they were showing, so of all of the episodes in SK, I only missed two (when Jun is introduced and the first episode of a new season when Anna gave Yoh and friends Hao's book).
Basically, I started (and became a fanatic
sweatdrop ) SK when I heard that it was made by the same people that made another of my favorite animes.^^
Oh!!! And b/c it's the only (or at least first) anime that I know of that has a storyline based on spirits. Really cool!!!
