This seems like a question that should have been asked somewhere, but I was looking around and didn't see anything. xd Why do you like Shaman King? Why does it appeal to you?
I like it because it has a wonderful plot. It's a very balanced manga and anime. Takei-sensei mixes both humor and drama in Shaman King and easily switches between the two, creating a very entertaining story. The character development is very smooth and the art is really cute, too. 3nodding

i honestly dont know, one day i was reading a shonenjump graphic Novels and saw it for the very first time and i was hooked lol thats how i became addicted to naruto to blaugh

How can you not love the plot? You think it would have been done.. but it hasn't and it's just awesome! The characters are also nicely developed.

I became hooked because it was the only graphic novel at the bookstore. I needed something to keep me busy for about two hours.... xp
But I also like that unlike a lot of animes, none of the characters are unbearably irritating. Bot to mention the plot(duh).

It is one of the few animes that managed to keep its quality while dubbed, and Takei keeps the characters realistic even though they are fictional.

I've liked it ever since I read it in Shonen Jump. I used to hate Tao Ren until I saw the anime yesterday, which was further than they had gotten in the manga. Tao Ren is my favourite SK anime character, and Faust VIII is still my favourite manga character. I missed the episodes with Faust, otherwise he would probably be my favourite anime character, too.
I like the way Shaman King is drawn. It's sort of simple, and sort of not, and a bit blocky. It's different, with a slight similarity to Naruto. The story is interesting, too.

I also like it for Yoh's comedy. He's pretty funny, since he's calm and all. smile

sweatdrop Actually I dont know when I got so interested Shaman King, but when I read Shonen Jump I just got into it, and when Faust VIII entered the picture, I got really interested 3nodding
