I'm not sure if I liked New Moon or not. Part of me wonders if I only like it because its a sequel to Twilight. sweatdrop But I liked the beginning and the end the best. I think I was just being a loyal fan, but maybe I did like it. *shrugs*

I read it in 2 and a half days.
I loved it, but now, as I reread it..I find that she does stretch things just a bit.
Doesn't make me love it less, though. heart

I like New Moon, read it in a day and a half and I'm reading it again. XD
I do agree that the middle was... dull. I got annoyed at Bella at points, but then, I don't blame her for moping after losing someone as 'perfect' as Edward.
>.>
<.<
*beats Edward over the head repeatedly with New Moon*
Now that that's out of my system... In all New Moon is a great book, it didn't suck at all (in my opinion). I just wish that there was more Edward and that Victoria had died. She's really getting on my nerves.

I became extremely bored with the book during the whole middle chunk with Jacob. It's not that I don't like Jacob, it's just that I loved Twilight because it made me happy for their romance, and to see the aftermath of the whole 'clean break' scenerio, sent me into this great depression; only because Bella's emotions began to parallel some current personal events right now, and I go to books to escape that depression, not to see it re-told in an equally horrible way.
And I know it sounds horrible, but one of my favorite parts was the whole cliff 'diving' incident. After that, it was a whole different Bella, a new and determined person after the 'sluggish-blob of despair' phase went away. She realized what she'd been doing this whole time, and rose above the haze her mind was in for that very long period of time. Gawh, the book was so much better after that.
I love her moments of adreneline rush in the book. I totally want to go motor-biking now. whee

I loved both books. Of course Twilight was better mostly because Edward was missing threw more than half the book..but still. It's to show how close Bella and Edward are...and to help Edward finally realize that he should change Bella. It also helps close some questions about the Blacks and werewolves. Don't forget Aro, Marcus, Caius, and the other Volturri too. I can't wait until Eclipse though....I'm so very impatient.

Yeah, the middle was pretty boring but that's why we have Jacob around...right ^_^
I find him a pretty interesting character but not as interesting as Edward [ish mad that he was gone most of the time in the book >_<] But anywayz,Bella kinda annoyed me the most with all her moping & emo-ish thoughts...and I guess New Moon was too emtional for me.I mean I love drama & such but her breaking-down like on every freakin page made me go beserk.
I think someone oughta had slapped Bella sometime...seriously. I wish there was more action/suspense though...
I find Twilight WAY BETTER.

Meh...the book for me...was painful. And not only that, I was going through the same thing Bella was going through ('cept without all the mythical creatures...). So the book for me is both painful and uplifting because in the end there is always hope! So yeah..
I'm still amazed at the power of Stephenie Meyer's writing and that she was able to take the awful feeling of being abandoned and put it into words. I've never been able to do it as well as she did, and I doubt I ever will. But listen, all you who've never loved truly and lost. Once you feel it, you'll never forget it. And then all that boring stuff that you read in that book when you were younger? It will start to make sense. Trust me.

I wouldn't say it sucked... I mean it wasn't good as Twilight in my opinion but yeah I do kinda agree.. I mean the middle part was boring a bit, but still good cause no offense I dont like Jacob much. Its not like he's not a nice guy and all but his presistance with Bella is kind of... uh... Uncalled for? I dont know what to call it. But I wouldn't say the book sucked. I personally really loved the end though, even thought Jacob was a, please excuse the term, b*****d about the bikes.
*bite nails*
like 86 more days until Eclipse comes out.

the middle of the book is about pain, my dear, and if you've ever been to a private school where your only friend in the whole place turns on you(as i did in 3rd grade)... ever had to let your friends all leave you and feel them ignoring you... or been in an "academy", a "school within a school", where suddenly everyonehates you because they heard from a friend of a friend of a false witness that you called every black girl in it 'ghetto', even if you never speak the word... or basically, had your friends abandon you, the jacob part seems completely real and perfect. i guess it's one of those things that the people who get stepped on understand the most...
