If anyone invites you to their apartment, say no. xD I huge DUH, but at Anime Expo there's this guy that I've known for about a year and he asked me up there....I said no of course, but later that night he was trying to flirt big time and at the rave/dance thing he kept trying to freak dance with me. o-o I pretended I was a lesbian and kissed my best friend to "prove I was taken". xD; Then she chased him away with her umbrella. sweatdrop

PatchWorkAlice this is a really great thread, especially for this type of guild. we always stay at cons really late so when we walk back we always go in a huge group for safety. nothing more to add though, except always have atleast one other person with you and if someones making you parinoid leave-- make up and excuse or anything but first instincts tend to be correct.

unfortunately i've been in several situations where guys have got me from behind, even once holding my arms behind my back. in these cases elbows are the best weapon ever. guys have a high center of gravity and even if your arms are restrained you can still drive all your weight into them via elbow. it doesn't take much weight either.

It also helps to bring your foot up at the same time. I did that to one of my friends on accident when they tried to surprise me... sweatdrop It worked well, but I felt really bad for him....But if you hit them in two sensitive places at the same time, you can knock them over and immobilize them long enough to get away or get some help. Screaming alot and drawing as much attention as possible is a really really good idea too... Just don't scream "rape" or anything, cause people like to run away when they hear it because rape can get really violent, or so said a teacher of mine... o-o;

First: this thread was an awesome idea. I know most Lolis tend to be a smaller build of girls (I'm five foot eight BEFORE I put my heels on and built in a way that scares my six-foot boyfriend xd ) and this kind of advice is really needed for that.
The big thing to know in a bad situation is that you MUST maintain confidence in yourself. If you look like you're scared r like somewhere in your mind you just know you can't excape an attacker, you become a hotter target. Especially after reading all of the wonderful advice here, make sure and remind yourself that you KNOW you can be safe. smile

I think this thread is awesome, but I'm not sure what else should I add to this. Almost everything has been said. sweatdrop
I would say that going out with at least 5 friends a very good idea.
I'd also say that taking Martial Arts lessons are a VERY GOOD IDEA, also I think that practicing with your lolita clothes on it's a very good idea or with something that resembles the outfit you're going to use so you'll know how easy would be to move with them.( Well, that's what'll do.... whee )

Whenever A scary/creppy guy is looking at me in a qusetionable manner I'll usuallg give him a glare that more or less says "One step closer and you're dead!". It has always worked well for me... but then again I'm 5'8" and about 177-ish pounds, so I'm no small force to reckon with. Another tip is to always avoid secluded areas. I go to the library a lot, and there tend to be a lot of creeps hanging out on the city common (which is between the bus stop I get off at and the library), but since it's a large open area and there are always lots of people around I feel safe, despite all of the creppy people who tend to be in that area.

-If you have long nails, don't be afraid to use them. They hurt like hell, and usually, your assailant will loosen his grip.
-Biting is also effective. Ruined makeup is a fair price to pay for your life, dignity or money.
-If you punch their arm, be sure to hit the muscle at the middle of the top of his arm. His grip will almost always loosen, and he'll have a slight feeling of numbness afterward, which will limit his movements slightly.
-Put 911 on speed dial, in case you don't have time to dial all three numbers.
-If you have liquid with you, chuck it in his eyes.
-Slaps and ear-pulling work rather well.
-If an opportunity appears, pull down his pants. It will nearly always slow him down.
