Audilifu - Realising Truth

DragonsRage24
Daemon was tired of walking today, he didn't feel like hunting, didn't feel like going back to the den, didn't feel like going anywhere really, just sit in his spot and let the sun shine down on him as his light blue eyes wandered over everything around him. He sighed, it was evident now that the truth of the matter was...that maybe he had to change.

He wanted her to see him differently...maybe he was just, too rough.

Flicking his tail he wondered what he could do, he couldn't change his voice, but what could he do really? Daemon wasn't sure what she particularly liked about him, if anything, or what she might wish he would change. Sighing he let his white mane fall over his eyes somewhat, he was getting used to being 'home' again, but home didn't feel like home when he looked at her the way he did, and didn't know if she saw him the same way he saw her.

Truth was hard to face right now...

But, he knew she was worth it.

Dark Fire Angel
Someone was looking for her.

She could feel it, and as she lay upon the branch of a certain tree, the goddess allowed herself to smile, for she always did enjoy it when others seeked her. Allowing her tail to swish idly from her perch, Truth placed her head over her front paws, purple eyes roaming the landscape, finally falling on the approaching white figure.

Wings fluttered against her pelt, her brow arching as the male paused nearby, deep in thought; so lost within his own mind was the mortal, that it was glaringly obvious he'd missed her presence. Thus Audilifu decided to help him out, if somewhat, and for her own entertainment, "I think that you should start by trying to understand her, rather than yourself," the words were purred slyly, her maw drawn into a coy smile that seemed to voice that she knew what he was thinking. Alas, this was not entirely true; Truth could not exactly read minds, however, that forlorn look upon the male's face was one she'd seen on many before, and it usually meant a female was behind their thoughts. Thus the words that had followed the train of thought.

Still laying quite gracefully upon her branch, the goddess finally made eye contact, only to break it briefly with a wink, "I believe it's me you seek, young one; is it not the Truth which you seek?" her smile broadened then, for just an instant before it melted into a charming little one, "Well, I believe you've found her indeed; what is it you seek so forlornly that you did not notice My presence?"

She didn't really have to ask, but still, if she was going to play the game, she may as well do so by the rules; her unwritten rules demanded she allow him to express himself without her guessing at him. The longer he spent in her presence, the more she'd know about him, and the longer he spent, the more compelled to speak the truth he'd feel. It was just as well after all, for Dili had all the time in the world, "Care for a chat with me? Truth or Dare, boy, which is it you pick?"

Audilifu - Alone

It was another quiet day by the den for Wahabu, as it had been for many days now since his mother had left. His father was off somewhere, so the young lion was left alone where he was. His mood had not improved much through time, and now he was being mostly quiet and somewhat resentful of being alone. Why did his mother have to leave? Where on earth was his best friend? What was he supposed to do about it, or even anything?

He had to find something to do, he decided. So reluctantly, Wahabu got to his feet and then just stared off into the distance. He had no idea what to do, he could go for a walk or hunt but neither seemed that appealing. While he thought, he started to pace slowly around. At least that was something other than staying still.

Truth was rather lonesome, really; both Denial and Irrationality had left, actually, due to her asking them for time alone, however, the goddess had regretted this action the moment she'd found herself alone. She was rather the social creature, and she acknowledged the fact she'd grown fond of the petite, goddess insistent riddles and charming attitude. She'd also grown so used to traveling with Denial that she suddenly found herself looking for his large frame whenever a twig snapped.

Instead of brooding however, the pink hued goddess had decided to do that what she did best; seek out the truth. Thus was how she'd reached the lush pride lands; so different from the Mistweaver lands, that were dieing, drying up further and further every day.

As was usual with her, the goddess allowed her wings to remain plainly in sight as she padded the meadows, pausing once to looking towards the distance; there was grass as far as her sight stretched, and herds moving here and there. This land was truly different, she thought as she felt the wind pick up against her pelt, blowing her bangs into her eyes; it was that same wind that carried the scent of another approaching, and her gaze followed the direction from where it had come.

There coming towards her, was a yellow hued male, his frame moving yet his head held low; Audilifu needn't be Truth to know something was obviously bothering this lion, and thus, being too curious for her own good, she flapped her wings once, twice, flying up into the sky. Once she'd neared the pridelander enough, she lowered herself to the ground before him, head tilted to one side gracefully, "You know, such sour faces make the sun seem that less brighter."

Audilifu - Shower of Light

Dark Fire Angel
Solitude pushed Truth to do things she'd never thought she'd do; but then again, she was bored, and lonely... she could not be blamed for seeking out new things to keep her mind occupied. Thus was how she'd found herself padding the God's Heaven, a place she'd stayed out of, for the most part, for where as she loved spending time amongst mortals, there was something about those immortal like herself that made her slightly wary. Perhaps it might've been the fact that with mortals, the Goddess of Truth though she held the upper hand, for the most part, but alas, when dealing with those of immortal blood, the tables changed radically.

It was a strange place, to say the least, but Audilifu found she liked it. For the time being, she was still alone, however, the fact she could peer down was taking her mind off the fact; the irrational part of her mind told her that she could almost barely see her brother, Deception, between the trees down below. Even though this was not true, she was content with playing along with this and thus, sat down to continue peering over the border. She couldn't really make out individuals, but she could make out regions and thus, after tiring with the game, Truth was content with merely watching; she lowered her body down so she was laying, her wings spread languidly over her back and simply gazed down.

After a while, her eyes closed, her ears flopping back, and though she was not asleep (for Truth feared falling asleep - what would ever happen to the world if Truth were to lay Dormant for too long?), she rested, a light purring beginning to rumble through her chest. It wasn't till time had passed that the scent of another reached Dili's nose, and she had to debate whether to stay put or leave, however, the scent seemed enticing enough, and thus the goddess remain where she was, her ears flicking towards where she was sure the scent had originated from.

This done, she waited, her eyes still closed, and the purr still rumbling within her chest. It was clear that for now, the goddess remain pleased, even if she was still rather lonely.

-Whim pulled the pleasure god to and fro as the days passed, quite often finding himself more wrapped into his own dealings pleasure then with what he was meant to gift to others. And today was one of those days, having lifted himself from the land of the mortals to the realm of the gods. Today he was after a little divine attention. He'd simply have to hope that the solitary realm weren't quite so empty today.

Luck was on his side however, and as he settled himself he found it easy to detect the other pressence, and he wasn't on the ground more then a moment before lilac and yellow paws began to pull him in her direction.

Gently he watched the ethereal scenery pass as his mind kept locked on the presence. And as the presence changed to a scent, his eyes finally settled upon the goddess, and he was stunned quite still.

A glittering jewel of the most unnatural colors, she was quite the sight to be seen. And subconconiously his plumes ruffled forward, his body gaining stature like the peacock he was. Purr rumbling through his throat, he cast his step with a purposeful jingle of his jewelry to catch her attention, voice lulling smoothly over the distance.- "Well what do we have here? A sight that even I can't come to describe."

"More colorful then a flower.. more entrancing then a sunset.. glittering brighter then any star in the sky. You've striken me my dear. Pray tell me of your name? As I have no words worthy enough to call you by." -It was true, and he was taken aback. All other he met he gave a nickname befitting them. But this goddess was not normal. Not in appearence atleast. He'd seen nothing like her before.-
