Basic Corrupt Calaverite Oh, there was something.
Calaverite wasn't in the city more often than he was in Negaspace. Since he had to rely on his general to move him back and forth, he could only be out as long as it was convenient for someone to move him. So despite being a senshi for so long, it always seemed like he missed whatever excitement was happening in Destiny City around the holidays... He always heard about it from others, but was never able to be a participant.
When a massive aura surged through his senses, he didn't even think to consider that it could be something strange and unholy and too big for him to handle. His powered body could handle anything, and he was a particularly fearless and foolish boy.
When there was something interesting, of course he would seek it out!
He did, and it came as no surprise to feel the pulse of dozens of other smaller auras around him as he neared. Many were like him. Many hunted out the interesting things. But he wanted to get there first. He wanted to see- No matter.
The creature sending off such a massive signature was easily more than any senshi could take alone, and there were certainly quite a few trying to attack it and bring it down. Cala would help too! Cala could do something. Cala could use his magic.
He hissed the words of his spell, and two decaying bats coalesced before him. They were small and slow and flapped disjointed wings to stay aloft as they moved toward the monster.
Quote: Sailor Scout Attack -- Carrion Call the Dead Summons two small ethereal decaying creatures of the same species (squirrels, bats, pugs, etc). They stink horrifically and move disjointedly, as if they haven't used their muscles in a long time. They must stay within twenty feet of Calaverite, but they can attack anyone within that range by charging, biting, or clawing. The creatures move slowly and need to receive a verbal signal from Calaverite before they act. Any damage is up to the player. The beasts remain for thirty seconds and can be summoned twice per battle.

Squire Imbrium - 7 damage
Why was it that giant, disgusting monsters always came around to ruin a perfectly peaceful evening? Imbrium of Castor was highly annoyed by the loud, powerful burst of energy that pulled her away from her book, blinking up from her seat on top of the bookstore near her parents’ small home. She had come out tonight to do a little studying, and perhaps hit a Negaverse agent or two in the face, or maybe share her Sriracha Peas if they were the bold type, and instead there was some weird murder beacon going off and there were multiple SOS coming through the ring.
The little book in Pythia’s pale hands clapped shut and the redhead irritably tucked the paperback away into a bag, which she proceeded to further stash into a corner of the roof; she would just have to come back and pick it up after she helped deal with whatever was causing the SOS to go off, and any other drama that sprang forth from the riot of auras forming on the edge of her senses. Ugh. Lord knew there would be- nothing that could cause ‘Chaos’ and ‘Order’ to band together to stand against it could possibly be a good thing.
Her heels clicked firmly against the pavement, and not for the first time Pythia was glad that with stronger powers had come lower heels. Running hither and there in stilettos was not exactly her idea of a good time, and while the higher heels of her first uniform had made her legs amazing, she had found that most youma and Negaverse officers weren’t all that interested. At the end of her swift and unchallenged journey, Imbrium ground to a halt in the general area of a monster that looked like it was part leathery crocodile, part angry rhinoceros, and most definitively not interested in the appearance of human legs. Imbrium remained pleased at the lower heel.
There were a good number of people from both sides of the battlefield already present, and several ranks; one of the Order members present was a person with the most powerful aura she had ever felt apart from Prince Castor himself; should that aura have belonged to an enemy she would probably have ditched the whole lot of them and left to save herself. There were other Knights, corrupted senshi, Generals, and frigging BABIES running around trying to stop the damn thing. It was a miracle they weren’t all smashing each other in this strange little melee, but as large as their scaley rival was, perhaps there was enough room for all of them, and maybe still one more.
Well. If they were going to leave her a spot at this dance party, it would be terrible manners to turn them down. Imbrium considered the area, keeping an eye out for where she would be able to jump in; and when she saw an opening, she rushed in to join the fray, using her shield and slamming it towards one of the large, leathery legs. Impact rang up her arms and into her shoulders, and she fell back after her attack, brow furrowing. That would be a no, then.

Lieutenant Eveite Damage 9
Eveite sighed. It wasn't the first giant monster that she would have to fight. Well technically the first one had been a Youma and she wasn't sure if those fit into the same category as regular monsters did. As much as she could call this a regular monster. It had a large aura, but what exactly it was and if it belonged to either side in this fight remained a mystery.
All she knew was that it had interrupted her as she had been draining a couple of people when she had been able to knock them out enough. Not something that she wanted to continue considering the sounds that it made. She may have been in the Negaverse, but that didn't mean she liked violence against people who didn't know they were in a fight.
Unfortunately as a Lieutenant one had to be touching a victim to be able to drain.
And so she had rushed over to where the creature was and knew that couldn't use her "weapons" against it. USB sticks might be able to do damage if it hit someone in the eye or something, but even if it could hurt the monster's eye, she wouldn't have been able to throw it up that high, even with her enhanced powers.
Instead she opted to take a large rock and hurl it at the creature instead!

Super Corrupt Versailles Damage 5
It had been another night of battle. Battling his hair that is. He had been intending to try and gather energy from any festival goers who may have been wandering outside of the designated areas of the festival.
Well, there weren't really areas they couldn't go into, just areas that weren't part of the festival. At any rate while he had been able to drain some energy from passerbys he had mostly been trying to deal with his hair once again finding its way into his face.
Honestly, how was it that it decided to continually go after his face and not the back of his head? It was an annoying mystery. But then it all had to go and be so rudely stopped by some creature he had heard in the distance and only when he was able to get closer to it did he realize it was a giant monster. Again. He sighed. His magic would be no good against it unless one wanted to be used as a distraction to draw it's attention. No, he would have to go with what he could find, and he found a somewhat okay rock and threw it at the creature.

Page Voyager Damage 2
The day had been going by wonderfully for John so far! He had been able to add a couple more pieces to the museum's collection and had been able to grab lunch at the wonderful cafe just down the street that made just THE best sandwiches.
It was why he was whistling on his way back from work to his home and unfortunately it was interrupted by a large sound. A roar it sounded like, but what could have made such an enormous one was the question! It led him to powering up in a nearby alley that he had checked for others before he made his way out there, which took a little bit considering he had to go there on foot and there was no clear path to it.
Eventually he found it, and then even further eventually he managed to make his way to where he was close enough to the giant monster to attack. It made him question if this was a good idea considering that he didn't have any magic to speak of so either he could throw his pocket watch, which he did NOT want to do, or try and find a stick or something to throw at the beast.
Apparently it was A as he found the stick and threw it at the beast.

Squire Sumner Damage 3
He had been hoping for a quiet day back at his apartment after a full day of life-guarding. He had been yelled at more times than he could count and had to save two kids from drowning. The problem was it was the same kid twice. After that he had to ban them from swimming until he was given proof that the kid could swim. More yelling at him had ensued afterwards. So he hoped that getting back home he could just eat something and then relax before bed.
But nothing could be that easy could it?
The roar of the monster had him sighing and powering up when he couldn't be seen and he had made his way over to the monster. He decided not to use his harp at this time since he might have needed the magic later. For now he decided that pelting it with some rocks might do... something.

Squire Mamertine - (5)
There were better places for Mamertine to be on the Fourth of July, most notably home. He wasn’t much for festivities but his work ethic wouldn’t let him just take a day off. There were too many injustices to correct, and it was just in his nature to work.
But.
Even without plans, it seemed like a nice night to be home, and he’d been working very hard to better balance his work and personal life.
Besides, he'd picked up another Star Charm and was ready to take it home and be rid of it.
He’d just left his office, hadn’t even had time to text that he was on his way home.
And then, he saw that thing, and all he could think was that it would be a problem if it got too close to the city--if any of the news stations started recording it.
Mametine wanted a little peace, but that was never going to happen if someone didn’t stand up to stop things like this.
So, he’d powered up and run out to meet it, along with all the others.
There were people attacking it already, some with better luck than others.
When he first arrived, he swung his gavel at the creature, and it hit, but he didn’t know that it even did anything.
He was fortunate that there was already a Squire who had been attacking when he arrived, so he took advantage of that and asked, “What is this, has anyone laid claim to it?”

Page Belmont - (2)
Belmont was keeping on top of things; he was powering up more now that he was more confident in himself and his ability to defend himself, but the months of self defense class had been worth it in the end. He’d promised he wasn’t going to go into this recklessly, so he’d been responsible and trained first.
Which, wasn’t really anything tedious given that he liked the outlet and he liked doing new things.
He wasn’t quite sure those newfound skills were going to be useful, at all, against whatever it was that was firing lasers into the sky.
He'd been minding his own business, cleaning up some of the debris from the Star Festival--and keeping the little Star Charms he came across--when he realized something was wrong.
By the time the Page of Jupiter showed up, there were already others attacking in their own various ways, but he was limited without a proper weapon and no magic so he followed the suit of another Page and hurled a stick at the creature with intention at least to distract it until someone else could figure out what to do.
“Hey,” he said to Voyager , only because of his close proximity. “--Where did this thing come from, did you see?”

General Rakovanite 6
It might be a nice existence to have city holidays that didn't always end in monster fights. Rakovanite knew it was a foolish thing to hope for. Ever since before he'd been powered this was how it was. It just happened that he had to physically get involved now. No matter how pleasant the city tried to be with its festivities and well-wishes and free fuchsia charms, there was always something unpleasant.
Narcissus was with him when they felt the aura, and Rakovanite only let out a strained sigh as it was determined that they should join whatever fight was upon them, despite Rakovanite's certainty that many others had moved to intercept the signal already, and the presence of one agent and one Mirror Senshi would hardly be missed. His Narci wouldn't take no for an answer, of course. Not when it came to something about protecting people... Even though Rakovanite had pretty much never seen him fight so much as a paper sack. But he obliged because he didn't want the senshi to think less of him for refusing.
He scooped Narcissus up and teleported in the vaguest direction that they felt the aura emanating from.
Conveniently, he had actually been to its place of origin quite recently. Nothing about the situation struck him as a surprise. When a being from space was collecting glowing magical energy, it didn't seem terribly unlikely that that energy could be used to target the city. Not surprising, but still an annoyance.
When Narcissus asked if he was going to help, Rakovanite knew "no" was not an appropriate answer. "Yes," he murmured softly and flicked away in the next second, before more could be said.
He teleported in the air, behind the creature's head, hoping to stay well out of sight and danger as he slung his bladed weapons out as a test to see what kind of damage could be dealt.

Basic Corrupt Diesel 3
It was one of those times when Diesel probably shouldn't have been out, but since he was, he figured he might as well take off and scope out whatever that crazy signature was? Being unable to teleport, he had to run the distance, and even powered, it wasn't a short walk by any means.
Others were certainly there a lot faster than he was, but he didn't mind that. As long as he didn't miss the big show, he didn't mind being a little late.
Diesel was surprised to see that he recognized a couple faces. Some from an earlier assignment in the Rift, some from random happenstance, and then Cala, who'd he'd met only fairly recently. The carrion senshi was sicking tiny creatures to go and fight the monster, and Diesel wanted to bark in laughter at the sight.
Pffft, like that would do anything!
He moved to Cala's side, touching his shoulder just to alert him to Diesel's presence before he said, "If you wanna leave a mark in a monster, you gotta light it up!" And he absolutely would. There wouldn't be any hanging back and taking potshots for Diesel. He had to get in there and throw down! His own magic wouldn't do much from a distance, anyway.
It had to be a personal attack to do any sort of damage.
"Watch this," he snorted at Calaverite, pulling on the threads of his own power to call it to his hands. He darted forward. He had to get in range to throw a punch.
EchosSweet Sailor Scout Attack ▼ Fan the Flames Diesel must make physical contact with another person or object in order to use his magic. The energy expelled by the impact provides the necessary 'fuel' to power his abilities, and so the magic's strength varies dependent upon how much effort he exerts. Simple contact may cause a flash burn, while something more forceful could cause a contained burst of flames that allows Diesel to forcefully repel enemies. Severity and duration of damage is up to target. He is capable of activating magic on himself (by clapping, snapping, stomping, etc) to propel himself nearer to targets. He has thirty seconds from casting to make contact with something, but the magic itself lasts for only a single burst on impact. May be used three times per battle.

Guardian Cat Realta [6]
Having odd creatures appear in the city wasn't new and unusual. Having large, glowy, reptile-rhinos suddenly appear, however, was a new one.
She'd followed the burst of energy, the size of the creature producing it certainly nothing to sneeze at. The feline bristled. Already a collection of bodies were forming around the creature. She saw some familiar faces from previous such encounters, but knew her girl at least wouldn't be among them. That hardly meant Realta herself would leave the battle.
The large Savannah darted in, finding one of its large, stubby legs to scratch at and try to dig her claws into its flesh. The thing was massive, so she kept her wits about her, mindful how one movement from this thing could turn her into less than a pancake...

Super Sailor Morgan [9]
Patrols when a festival--or any kind of event, really--was going on was kinda given. s**t always happened in this city, after all, and for Morgan at least, she'd rather be suited and ready to go when it did hit. Not if. When s**t did..
So being out with Arthuradel was an easy compromise for things. Keep an eye on and spend time with her sister, and also keep a magical 'ear' open for trouble.
Which, that was ring-a-ding-ding'ing really freaking loud tonight.
She winced at the sudden influx of energy, frowning in the direction it was emitting from. "No idea," she hummed to her sister, but when the kid took off towards it, Morgan could do little but go with her.
The giant thing they did find, though, along with the collection of people of various factions against it was... well. Not the most unusual thing? Though it's location made her lift a brow...
While Arthuradel made use of her magic, Morgan grabbed up debris from the area to use, slamming it into the place her sister's magic had just struck. "Welp, time to look to see if this thing's got a weak point..." And keep her own magic in reserve, in case they needed a shield.

Dark Mirror Prince Remarque - (6)
Oh, cool. Because this was how Jett wanted to spend his night. Because this was so much better than taking it easy and relaxing, for once. So much better than bringing home these little Star Charm trinkets for his girls. Maybe it was asking for too much; he’d already had a good day and pushed off his work until later, but this wasn’t the sort of work he’d been planning on.
He just wanted to get his business affairs squared away.
Of course, he wouldn't have a business if some energy spewing monster rolled into town, so that obviously took priority.
He hadn’t even been planning on showing up as more than an Eternal, but when he realized the severity of the issue they were facing, he didn’t think it was an ideal time to just play games and hope for the best. It didn’t matter if he wasn’t the first person there or not, it didn’t seem like anyone was having any particular advantage to dealing with this monster.
So, naturally, he intended to fight it.
It was too big to go in with a stiff uppercut, so he tried his magic on it--just to see what it would do.
The strings he summoned with his Senshi magic were tight, and crushing, on any human but this thing was obviously a bit bigger.
He hadn’t come to socialize, but he was taking careful stock of everyone who was there--everyone he recognized, and everyone he didn’t.
