Walking over to the Dusk Ball now containing his freshly caught Alolan Grimer, Sub would bend down and pick it up as it floated around in the gross puddle of water. Holding it with just two fingers he would flick it around a bit, trying to get as much of the water off before he reluctantly minimized it and stuffed it into his pocket. Turning around to see Hemlock giving him a disgusted look the man sighed. "Don't worry, I plan on changing clothes the moment we get home." He reassured the Weed Pokemon as he started to walk off, Hemlock following close behind.
"Come on. I want to explore this place a little more. Besides, it looks like you could use some real world training. The STR will only give you so much experience, as we saw with your pitiful Secret Power back there." He taunted the Pokemon, who replied with a few choice insults, though Sub had no idea what he was being called, instead the man just laughed as they headed for the main floor. He was done with this place for now.
As Wren shook the cobwebs from his rattled brain, something caught his eye. He wasn't sure he'd seen it at first but, when he looked again, he saw it a second time. A tiny movement in the flora. Something less than living but not quite dead. As he crept closer to it, hushing Anemone to keep her volume low, he found himself approaching something like nothing he had ever seen before. He wasn't even sure what it was, at first. Something small and dainty, standing there soaking up what little light it could get in this dark dome.
A sweet aroma caught his senses as he approached, delicate but powerful. "It smells nice..." He told himself as he circled the flower like a hungry Sharpedo, inspecting it from every angle before pulling out his SNAG and setting it to the camera function. He was snapping pictures of the flower so he could study it and, possibly, figure out what it was later, when a voice piped up.
"Fom?"
"Fomantis. Grass-type. Particularly Prissy." GRAY chipped in. "Good luck putting this one in a pot!" The snippy AI added, referring to Sub and his tendency to "plant" his Oddish.
"Mantis!" Fomantis cried as it was abruptly awakened by GRAY's digital voice. Seeing Wren standing there in it's face, it jumped and snapped it's petals outward, sending a barrage of leaves flying toward him with Leafage.
"Gah!" Wren yelped, stumbling backwards and falling on his butt, caught off guard by the "flower" suddenly coming to life, despite GRAY's assistance with identifying it as a Pokemon. Anemone came to his rescue, however, using Air Cutter to meet the Leafage and putting a stop to it.
"Comb comb bee combee!" The Tiny Bee exclaimed, as she approached the Sickle Grass Pokemon, enticed by it's scent but unwilling to let her guard down.
"Fom fom fomantis fo foma!" Fomantis argued back. It wasn't going to let some stranger interrupt it's pleasant dreams, even if it wasn't feeling well in the darkness here. Laying down roots and trying to get back to sleep, the little imitation bug tried to go back to sleep.
Anemone wasn't letting that happen, though, using Bug Buzz to snap Fomantis back to consciousness almost immediately. Waking up fully, this time, Fomantis used Razor Leaf, whipping it's petals back and forth to send wave after wave of razor sharp leaves flying toward the Combee.
"Anemone, use Swift!" The Bug conjured a small cluster of stars around her, sending them to meet the incoming leaves.
Soaking up what little light it could find, Fomantis took a moment to take aim.
"Air Cutter!" Wren called out, directing Anemone to take advantage of the momentary lapse in action from the Fomantis. The Combee nodded and beat her wings even harder, conjuring an array of buzzsaw-like blades of air around her. Sending the blades to attack just before Fomantis' charge was full, the little Pokemon was pelted by the move, unable to be knocked backward due to the roots it had laid down.
"Fooooman!" It cried as it poured all of it's charge into an orb between it's front two petals and unleashed a fairly weak Solar Beam from it. There just wasn't enough light in here to produce one at full power.
"Dodge it, Anemone! Then use Bug Bite!" Wren called, holding up his artifact as the beam came flying toward him. The small blossom on it seemed to draw the Solar Beam in and, as the attack came to an end, Wren felt a rush of energy within him, the tiny bloom on his artifact almost instantly flowering into a massive rose the size of a buckler shield, thin roots tangling around his arm and holding it more securely in place. In the meantime, Anemone rushed toward Fomantis, drawing in close and sinking a long needle-like proboscis of energy into it's flesh.
"Fooooom..."Fomantis moaned before a golden light enveloped it, it's petals perking up slightly as it used Synthesis to absorb what little sunlight it could get to heal up, adding to what energy it was absorbing through it's roots, mitigating the damage dealt to it thus far.
"Anemone, use Air Cutter again!" Wren called as he watched Fomantis recover from the battle thus far. If it could use both Ingrain and Synthesis, he needed to put the battle to an end before Anemone was too worn out to continue. The bee followed his directions and unleashed a wave of buzzsaw blades forged from the air itself once again but, this time, the final attack wouldn't be from the Air Cutter but from a Safari Ball Wren hurled immediately after it.
Picking up the Safari Ball after it had stopped shaking, Wren released the Cutiefly he'd caught previously. "Sorry for the problems before..." He apologized as the Bee Fly buzzed in his face with annoyance before flying away in a huff.

Sub and Hemlock would make their way down a short hallway and up a few steps before they opened an old door, surprisingly still on its hinges, and stepped onto the main research floor. As soon as they passed through the door and took but three steps into the new hallway a tiny little yellow bug would jump down from the ceiling and land on Sub's head. The Snagem leader, having not saw what it was, would begin to run and flail around, frantically trying to brush off whatever landed on him.
"What is it!? Something fell on me! Hemlock! Help!" Sub screamed as he ran around. The Weed Pokemon just stared and shook his head before finally deciding to help his trainer.
Getting a running go at it, Hemlock would skip and bound his way up his trainer before landing on his shoulder and coming face to face with the stowaway; a tiny little Jolt. Hemlock would roll his eyes in response to seeing the culprit and without missing a beat conjured up a single orb of Dark energy with Hidden Power and flicked it at the Joltik with one of its blades of grass, knocking the little critter off the Dark One's head and sending it tumbling to the ground.
"It was just a Joltik...ha." Sub said nervously, still trying to catch his breath. For whatever reason he feared it would be a Weedle, having only caught a glimpse of something small and yellow. And if it were a Weedle then that meant Beedrill weren't too far behind, so that's what made him panic, luckily that wasn't the case.
The angered Joltik would hiss at Hemlock as the Oddish jumped back down to the ground, the tiny little spider trying to act fierce as scurried up to Hemlock and scratched it with a Fury Cutter. While the move didn't hurt too badly it was enough to get a rise out of Hemlock who promptly proceeded to conjure up four orbs of Dark energy this time and pelted the little Joltik with an angry Hidden Power, the little guy promptly knocked out.
"Geesh, irritated much? Chill out." Sub said as he nudged the Joltik with his foot before walking off. Hemlock would stare at Sub for just a while before following, his left eye twitching as his trainer dared to tell him to chill out when it was him who just minutes ago was running around like an idiot.
The pair would continue to walk through the facility, passing up a few more Joltik along the way, the little spiders sucking on exposed wires, trying to get what little electricity out of them they could. Eventually Sub would stop to examine an old cabinet, hoping to find something interesting pertaining to this place. Instead he found what looked to be a Rare Candy but a slightly different color and in spite of how old it must be it looked like it was still good.
"Huh, Sugar Free Rare Candy, never heard of such a thing. Here, Hemlock." Sub said as he unwrapped the candy and tossed it to Hemlock, who promptly caught it with a blade of grass and popped it into his mouth. As the Oddish munched away on the candy he gave a somewhat pleased look, the face you make when something isn't bad but isn't as good as you thought it would be.
As Hemlock ate the candy Sub stood there and looked around. He would start a bit when he noticed a pair of little pink ears poking up from behind a piece of fallen ceiling leaning up against a wall. "Psst, check it out, Hemlock. If I'm right that's an Audino. Back in Unova they say that just battling those things gives a big boost towards your Pokemon's evolution. Why don't you get a jump on it with Absorb. Grab on and don't let go." He told the Oddish who gave a little nod, putting on his Black Glasses to get into the mood.
With glasses on Hemlock would get a running go at it and run up the piece of ceiling and jump off of it and onto the Audino on the other side. From this side Sub couldn't see anything, just heard the Audino give a shriek and then heard the sound of thumping. Before he could go check things out himself the Audino gave running into view with Hemlock grabbed a hold onto its head with his blades of grass, Hemlock glowing as he began to suck energy out of the Audino.
The Hearing Pokemon would give off a Disarming Voice in its panic, which while it did hurt and bother Hemlock to hear he held fast and continued to drain it of its energy for as long as it could. This would go on for a while more until the Audino passed under a low metal rod, causing Hemlock to bump into it and fall off the Normal Pokemon while it continue to run down a hallway.
"Hey! Don't let it get away, Hemlock!" He called out to the Pokemon as he gave chase, Hemlock getting back onto his feet and shaking the daze off before following after them both.

As Sub chased after the Audino, with Hemlock right behind him, he would keep up with the Hearing Pokemon for a good while until it turned around a corner, the pink creature disappearing from sight. The man didn't slow down though and took the turn at full speed, expecting to see the Audino running away as he did but instead he would be treated to something a little more aggressive. Right as Sub took the turn he tripped over something, the man sent falling face first onto the ground with a thud. As he rolled over and moaned he looked behind him to see what he tripped over and what did he find? One very angry Voltorb, crackling with electricity as it rolled towards him.
"Uh...Hemlock? You there buddy...?" He said nervously as he began to scooch backwards, away from the ever approaching Voltorb.
"Oddish!" Cried Hemlock as he jumped at the Voltorb, having just taken the corner himself. The little Weed Pokemon would pounce on the Voltorb and cling to it with its blades of grass, just as it did to the Audino, and proceeded to Absorb the life out of it. The Voltorb however wasn't going to take it as easily as the Audino did and unleashed a Spark. While the jolt of electricity didn't hurt too bad it was enough to make Hemlock lose his grip and slide off the Ball Pokemon and once off the Voltorb followed up the Spark with a Tackle, rolling and ramming its body into the vulnerable Oddish and sending it tumbling away.
"Hemlock! You okay?" He asked his Pokemon, seeing the sturdy little Pokemon getting back on its feet seconds later. "That a boy! Why don't we try using Secret Power again? I got confidence in ya!" Sub tried to motivate the Pokemon.
With a nod and this time without his glasses, Hemlock would begin to give off a glow of energy, the Voltorb eying it suspiciously. With a cry and a stamp on the ground, Hemlock would send the energy flowing into a nearby wall and then the ceiling, causing a chunk of the already fragile ceiling to break off and fall down upon the Voltorb, burying it in rubble.
"That's the stuff!" Sub cheered for his Pokemon as he ran over to him and picked him up, giving he a pat on the head before putting him on his shoulder. "There ya go, the shoulder perch, you earned it." He told the Pokemon, who was actually proud to be there. The two would then set off again, to see what else they could find here.

"Comfey Vine Whip!" The little girl shouted as she and her partner were facing against a Finneon. Comfey had vines growing out of her back as it tried to catch the Finneion but it kept slipping through as it finally ran off. Ulla and Comfey sighed as they were unsuccessful on catching the fish. "It's okay. Let's keep looking."

The pair would continue to journey down some derelict hallways, not finding much interesting until they stumbled upon a lone Alolan Rattata, the little mouse Pokemon all by its self, the critter examining an old wooden crate for whatever reason. Fortunately the Dark type hadn't seen them yet as they stood behind a pillar, eying it from the behind. Giving each other a look and a nod Sub would slowly and quietly set Hemlock on the ground, the Oddish peeking from one side of the pillar and Sub the other. Once Sub saw a good opportunity he would nudge his Oddish with his foot, causing Hemlock to charge toward and tackle the Alolan Rattata, struggling with it for a bit before it got a blade of grass wrapped around its tail and began to Absorb some energy out of it.
In its struggle the mouse would retaliate against the binding and Absorb with a Bite, snapping at Hemlock's body and biting pretty hard for such a little creature. The Bite hurt and caused Hemlock to release the Alolan Rattata, the two stumbling backwards away from each other until Sub gave the command for a Headbutt, Hemlock rushing towards the rat and ramming into it with his head lowered, sending it flying backwards.
After the Rattata hit the floor and regained its composure it would use Quick Attack to ram into Hemlock this time and maneuver so he was on top of Hemlock while the Oddish was on its back, the rat beginning to snap away at Hemlock as it tried to Bite him again, Hemlock smacking it away again and again with its blades of grass as they struggled. Seeing his Pokemon tassel with this mouse he called out another command, a Sleep Powder this time. During the wrestling match Hemlock would unleash a puff of Sleep Powder which would before long lull the rat into a deep sleep, the slumbering rodent laying on top of Hemlock knocked out until Hemlock rolled it off of him.
With the rodent vulnerable Hemlock would execute another Absorb on it, taking what little hit points it had left in it before tossing the rat to the side and rejoining his trainer to see what else they could find.

Unfortunately for Sub and Hemlock they would stumble upon an old 'friend' as they took another turn and apparently had walked in circles until they entered a familiar hallway, where a chunk of the ceiling was missing and a beat up, and angry, Voltorb was on top of a pile of rubble. Apparently it had just made its way out from underneath the rubble, still with plenty of fight left it in. Sub and Hemlock's timing was just poor though as the Voltorb was more than ready for them when they appeared, the Ball Pokemon using Sonic Boom to send a shock wave of energy at Hemlock, knocking it clear off its feet and sending it slamming into a wall.
With a grunt Hemlock would get back on his feet and by order of his trainer would throw his Black Glasses on and conjure up five orbs of Dark energy, each one at the end of a tip of grass on its head. Hemlock would hurl the orbs at the Voltorb on after another, the Voltorb proving faster and more prepared than last time as it dodged the first three, just getting clipped by the forth, but alas the fifth one scored directly and caused it to spin backwards a walls.
The Voltorb still had some juice it though and would pull off a Spark, though this time wildly rolling towards Hemlock and ramming into it with an electrical charge. As instructed by his trainer though Hemlock would fold fast and grab onto the Voltorb and execute an Absorb to recover some of the damage it just took. With the Voltorb dazed Hemlock would use its momentum against it and upon rolling to his feet would toss the Electric type to the side and hurl a flurry of Razor Leaf at it until they were both sure the thing was knocked out this time.
Panting tired after that rumble Sub would pick up his little Oddish and walk off with him, taking the glasses off before they caused any trouble just yet.

Comfey was resting on Ulla's head as they were both looking around now the actual part of the reactor with a ton of monitors. Ulla was crouched down to look under the desk as all she got was dust bunnies. "Hm....Wonder why this was never well kept. I'm sure if Snagem bought this Facility. We can have scientist and some of our own Snag come up with amazing things." She said to Comfey as the little shiny fairy was trying to move one of the desk. Ulla noticed this as she moved it as a Charjabug popped out.
Charjabug used Bug Bite on Comfey as it barely did anything. "Comfey use Petal Blizzard!" She said as Comfey let out a blast of petals lose as the Charjabug attacked with Mud-Slap. Both attacks hit as their was a bunch of ruckus. Comfey was flailing around trying to wipe off the Mud from it's face while Charjabug was being spun around in the Petal Blizzard. Ulla took this time to throw a Pokeball in the chaos.

The pair would make their way for the exit, both of them kind of tired after all their adventures here. Really tired actually. In fact, why were they so tired? Sure, they both did a lot, perhaps Hemlock more than Sub, but they don't remember being this dang tired, it just seemed to come out of nowhere. Giving a yawn and finding a chair Sub would sit down and set Hemlock down, who then proceeded to yawn him. As the two were getting comfortable Sub noticed a glimpse of something yellow standing behind a pillar. At first he was seeing things but then he saw it a second time, this time noticing a trunk. Now a little more awake he looked down at the ground at the sleeping Hemlock and realized what that was he saw.
"It's a Drowzee! Hemlock wake up!" Sub called out to the sleeping Oddish, but it was no good. Now caught the wild Drowzee would come running out from behind the pillar, looking pretty hungry as he came after Hemlock, pulling some of his dreams out of the Oddish with Dream Eater in the form of pink smoke which it promptly sucked up with its trunk. The Drowzee would try to do this as long as possible but quickly became confused once the dream flow stopped.
"Oddish!" Shouted Hemlock as he suddenly sprung to his feet, wide awake and somehow having gotten his Black Glasses on, the little Weed Pokemon angrily hurling Dark Hidden Power orbs at the Drowzee, one after another, pelting it with three of them while the Drowzee tried its hardest to dodge. Sub could see his Oddish was very exhausted from all this but that Drowzee triggered something fierce in the little Grass type.
Drowzee would regain its composure and find a window of opportunity in the savage Hidden Power barrage, the Drowzee using Confusion to get a psychic grip on the Oddish and send it flying into the chair Sub was sitting on, causing both chair and Oddish to clatter to the ground.
With a pained moan Hemlock would get back onto its feet and with an angry cry began to charge up one orb of Dark energy with Hidden Power, an orb bigger than its own body and about the size of the Drowzee its self. With a gulp the Drowzee would attempt to run but it was no use, Hemlock would hurl the Hidden Power orb at the fleeing Drowzee's body, the orb exploding into a shower of dark energy and sending the Psychic Pokemon falling to the floor, knocked out cold.
Hemlock himself wouldn't be able to stand much longer and also passed out, his glasses falling off. Sub would smile as he approached the tuckered out Oddish and picked him and his glasses off. He would then turn to the nearby exit and head on out. They had a long day and it was time to get some rest.

The Pokeball snapped closed as Ulla and Comfey sighed of relief. [colro=skyblue]"Our first catch here." She said as she looked to see what the Pokemon ranked. Ulla sighed as she saw it wasn't that high. "Even though there are less Pokemon here which betters our chances. It's still proving difficult. Let's keep moving." She said as she left the room back into more of the watery areas.

The last time Freth found her way into a safari contest, it wasn't the best of times. It was a mall that was old, moldy, and flooded out for the most part. It wasn't the best of times. That said, she did leave out with a Tyrogue...which was rambunctious as all get out and incidentally had the hardest of time putting under control. However, seeing others in Snagem hitting pay dirt in one respect or another, perhaps she was a little too quick to judge. Tristen for example ended up with a Litten in one, and a Meinfoo in another with the added bonus on the latter of getting a fossil which turned out to be a Cranidos. Perhaps she was too quick to judge. At least that was what she thought at first...
"I regret everything..." She said as she looked at her surroundings. Jungles, savannas, majestic caverns. All of which she was told about. No, once again she found herself in the dankest, messed up, and most artificial of environments for Pokemon. Again. Worse, this time, this was more of a health hazard than anything, and not just from mold, no. This place was a reactor area, it seemed. Flooded, with power surging on occasion. She could feel her feathers stand on end with the electricity that was flowing around in the air. Or that could have been possibly going through the halls the next thing to Chernobyl. Pokemon are here living like nothing is wrong, so...maybe it isn't anywhere close to that bad. That said, she had the feeling that with electricity still running through this place, this would be an electric type hot-spot. Though conversely, with water around which is getting fed in from a nearby water source, it possibly could house water types as well. Or both? There are such things as Lanturns. She probably would want to avoid deep water if she can help it. Even if she had the likes of a Walrien, she didn't want to pick a fight if electric types are about; Walrien would get fried easily. Likewise Mamoswine wouldn't do too hot if there are rambunctious water types.
Fortunately, Freth wasn't going for either one. "Tyrogue." Freth said, tossing out the Pokeball. The ball popped open and out came the Tyrogue. The tiny fighter Pokemon looked about then looked back at Freth.
"Rogue!" The Tyrogue snapped at Freth.
"Well, hello to you, too." She replied, rather sarcastically. "Alright you. We're going to have a bit of coming to Arceus meeting here. You've been trying to punch well above your weight class with the other Pokemon and the only reason why you haven't been stomped on outright is because fortunately they have the sense to not stomp you flat...well, other than Absol, who hasn't been around, or rather, in his right frame of mind, for that very long and doesn't exactly know you too well."
"TY-ROGUE!"
"Yea, I dare you to tell me that if you got caught in that Razor Wind Absol was whipping up to trap you in. But you think you're a little B.A., huh? Alright. How about you show me. Go on. Let's go. We're in a place kind of like that dump I found you at...only a lot more water. Come on, let's go pick a fight, hm? Come on." Freth said, shoving Tyrogue forward. As far as she is concerned, if this place can give Tyrogue a well-needed kick in the complacency, this trip will probably be worth it.
The two started to go forward, making their way across a ramp which gave a good view of what the flooded reactor area was like. The luminescent glow that came from lights trying to find their way to the surface from below the water's surface she had to admit did have a weird charm in its aesthetic. As the two continued, from the water came a small pink bulbous creature. Transparent enough though. "Is that...?" As it straightened itself out, Freth took notice to the tentacles that flowed like a birds wing and perhaps a rather adorable smile on its face. "A female Frillish..." A sinister idea came to Freth as she looked towards Tyrogue.
"Well, there you go, Tyrogue. There's an opponent."
"Rogue." Tyrogue said, crossing his arms.
"Lightweight?" Freth spoke up. The notion also got the attention of the Frillish, insulted that she was being wrote off so easily. The Frillish fired off a barrage of bubbles, via its bubblebeam and pelted the Tyrogue and knocked it over and right off the ramp. Freth couldn't help but to chuckle a bit and leaned up against the guard rail as Tyrogue pulled itself back up on the ramp, irritated. "Well, not so much of a light weight, is she?"
"Roooooogggue." The Tyrogue growled out. Stomping towards the jellyfish at first then went into a full on sprint, going into a shoulder rush, attempting to Tackle the Frillish. The Tyrogue however goes right through the Frillish, stumbling and falling face first on the ramp.
"Oh yeeaah, by the way, Frillish are part ghost type, so Tackle attacks aren't going to work...but you knew that already, right?"
"TY-ROGUE!" The Tyrogue hopped back to his feet, burned from the humiliation which was only exacerbated as he just now realized that the Frillish was laughing at him. "Ty-ROGUE!" The Tyrogue glared at its target, immediately making the Frillish stop laughing. It felt something about it that kind of felt off, but at the same time gotten the attention of Freth. Tyrogue then rushed in and leaped up with a mighty High Jump Kick and actually connected, smashing the Frillish back off the platform.
The Frillish surfaced, rubbing the side of its head with one of its appendages, only to be distracted seeing Tyrogue now was the one laughing at her." Foresight. Huh. Well apparently you do have answers but uh..." Freth looked over, and out towards the Frillish, not too thrilled. The Frillish pulled itself out then started to float up in the air, unleashing a ghostly power upon the Tyrogue pelting it with a Night Shade which made Tyrogue yelp out. Freth only continued to lean up against the rail as the Tyrogue gathered his senses.
"Ty-ROGUE! ROOOGUE!" The Tyrogue shouted to Freth.
"Me, enjoying it? Nooooo." She said, looking at her hands as if she was checking her nails. "But you got it covered, riiiiight?"
The Tyrogue clinched its teeth then rushed over towards the Frillish, about to bring it down with another Tackle, however the Frillish leapt right into the Tyrogues face and started to ensnare every last inch of the Tyrogue in its Constrict attack. "ROOOGUE!"
"Oh keep it up, you're doing great!" Freth said, rather sarcastically as the Tyrogue struggled within the Frillish's grasp. After a moment, the Frillish gave the Tyrogue a toss right back into the water. The Tyrogue flailed about for a moment in its fatigue trying to get back to the ramp. As Tyrogue made it back to the ramp, it took notice that Frillish was once again laughing at him then jumped off the other side of the ramp and swam off back into the waters.
