GRYPHI Perhaps she was a little too focused on her meal. Not only had she neglected Takeda, but everything else around her. The fresh savory fish filled her tummy and brought a smile to her whiskers. She was mid-bite when she saw and heard the figure rolling around the counter. Gryphi quickly backed away, keeping her stance and locking her gaze on the stranger. A red haired woman in a chair with wheels had appeared when she wasn't paying attention. How careless she was to let her get so close; she'd forgotten she was in enemy territory. The Exceed took another step back when the girl spoke, asking who she belonged to. “I don’t belong to anyone! Stay back!” the feline hissed when she leaned closer. Gryphi began gathering her magic energy, preparing to attack if she needed to. Though her energy was still noticeably weak- lacking the amount she needed to transform. Her eyes shifted about, hearing the chair girl speak to someone else. Sniffing the air, she could make out three other scents, one belonging to a canine. The smell of canines was particularly potent in this place….

Guild- Blue Pegasus | Rank- C-rank| Magic- Celestial Spirit
Mizuki smiled knowingly at her fellow princess. “I don’t have to be psychic to read your thoughts, Chloe. Just a close friend.” Indeed, anyone who knew the Fioran princess as she did would know full well the expression currently gracing her features. It was one of her more comical ones, truth be told. The younger princess could all but see the Jewel signs flashing in her friend’s darker eyes. Smirking, she faced forward once more, listening as Linn remarked on her father’s actions. Her amusement faded. What must it have been like to witness such an act, knowing one’s own father was the most violent? Mizuki could not properly imagine the terror Rosa must have felt. To be so scared of the transformation yet loving the man underneath...it had to be an immense struggle to balance.
The Eridani princess did not linger long on that notion; instead, she focused on the warmth and joy radiating from Linn. Mizuki grinned at the feeling. There had been few positive feelings while in this place thus far. She would gladly hold onto any moments for as long as possible. Unfortunately, the circumstances of their situation were never far from evidence. Joy was soon replaced with uneasiness and doubt. Mizuki did not relish the fact Linn could not tell them of Evelyn’s plans. Surely, the so-called empress would give her subordinates more than a mere inkling of her goal? Perhaps she doesn’t trust them as wholly as she claims? That thought was not comforting. Setting aside her discomfort, the princess inclined her head, agreeing to Linn’s terms. “It's as we’ve promised. We won’t act against you and will do as you ask. But only you.” Despite being on opposing sides, Mizuki found it easy to trust the redhead. The same could not be said of anyone else under Evelyn’s command.
Following behind Linn, Mizuki tried to contact Leo once more to no avail. The act sent a searing pain through her head, which apparently did not go unnoticed by the wheelchair-bound girl. “I’m all right. A headache from the cuffs,” she announced as she came into the kitchen. Stacking the dishes on the counter alongside the others, the princess turned towards her, rubbing absently at her forehead. She startled upon seeing the golden-furred Exceed. How long had it been here without notice? Mizuki noted the little one’s aggressive stance. Gryphi appeared ready to attack at the slightest hostile movement. A single glance at Linn indicated the two did not have prior acquaintance. So, she’s likely not part of this guild. She might be a prisoner as well then. Could Evelyn have hidden more around here? Mizuki had to wonder. “Hello,” her teal eyes softened as she set her gaze upon the Exceed. “Do not worry. We will not come any closer. Were you taken prisoner as well?” She felt it best to get their plight out in the open in case they shared common ground. In the same instance, she made a motion towards Chloe and Blue that was meant to caution them of the feline. Blue might be able to control herself but Mizuki did not know how the Exceed would react to the wolf. The last thing they needed was a fight between cat and dog.

Chloe's smile flipped upside down upon Linn's mention of her father not so much being proud, but a better word for it was shameful. "Maybe not good fathers, I'm sure there's toxic fathers out there who wouldn't care." She shrugged it off, as it really wasn't something that effected her, so she had very little care or concern for that topic. However at the mention of Mizuki being phycic, and her answer basically just stating she knew her too well, it all made sense! "Guess you know me too well, hehehh." Chloe answered, laughing a bit. The boredom remained clear in this place, as she clung one hand to hold her face from falling onto the table, watching Linn explain how they would have to follow orders given by her person. "Yeah..what Mizu said.." Chloe spoke rather coldly and bored, she really did not care at this point. She just wanted to freakin leave already. This was not a place for princess's...hell it was not a place for hobos either. What kind of rude people would trap you and not let you go..was there a reason they were going so far to do this? Clearly, there had to be. And Linn was not able to answer that question unfortunately.
Chloe towed behind Mizuki and Linn to the kitchen, however she just stood around not bothering to help clean any dishes. She didn't ask to be here, so why should she help with chores? Plus, she absolutely dreaded any type of chores, so she just simply refused to. She noticed Mizuki's hand motions, before her rose colored orbs peered over to notice the feline standing around. What was an exceed doing in here..and where did she come from? Blue merely positioned herself behind all the females in the room, away from the exceed. She did not wish to scare her, if she was afraid of canines by chance. Not only that, but considering she seemed on edge and about to attack as it stood, it was for the best to keep her distance.

"Linn" Broken Crown B Ranked Mage: "Enchantress"
Rosa. Rosa the alarm is going off. Nnnnnnoooooo... No it's not... Shut it off...
Linn's attention was turned to Chloe for a moment, a small amount of disappointment on her face. Chloe would never get anywhere as a ruler if she didn't learn some empathy for other people. It wasn't worth further argument right now though. There was someone injured to try and help. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. You're hurt. Let me help you. That can't feel good..." She rolled forward slowly, and held out a palm to the little exceed, trying to exude calming emotions for the little creature. She turned her head around to look at the princesses, and then around the kitchen. "Alright. Let me know if it gets worse. In the meantime, we'll hold you to your words. Mizuki, could you please hand me a rag? I need to dress her wound until we can get her to Rosa. Chloe, can you get into the third drawer to the left of the sink and get out a bag? There should be some ice in the ice chest to the left of the sink." She smiled at the girls before turning her head back to the little exceed. "If you want food, we can bring some fish back to Rosa's room for you to eat."
Rosa? Rosa, come on, answer me. I know you can hear me. No. Tired. Lemme sleep.
GRYPHI What was wrong with this girl? What part of "stay back" didn't she understand? The "stay" or the "back"? Though when she approached even more, she didn't seem to show her any hostility. Be that as it may, she didn't trust this red girl with the flashy highlight. Gryphi knew she had to escape, but even more people showed up with the wheelchair girl before her. The exits were blocked... There was but one recourse: fight! The Exceed waited for her moment to make a move while listening to the blue one speak. She mentioned something about being taken prisoner too, but that didn't seem to register with her at the moment. This was enemy territory as far as she understood and everyone was an enemy! Gryphi was trying her hardest to transform and barrel her way out, but her magic was just too insufficient for the task. So then, it was time for plan B! The moment the redhead took her eyes off her, the cat saw her opportunity to strike. Lifting the large gnawed on fish in her paws by the tail fin, her gaze sharpened on her target. No sooner after she looked back at her, Gryphi would toss the fish into her face as hard as she could. Wasting no time, the Exceed pushed herself off the ground in a jump, wincing and crying in pain as she had to do so on her injured leg. She didn't get to high, but it was enough for her to get airborne and activate her Aera. Fortunately, she had enough magic to create her wings and take off, flying over the girl's heads. This Magic she was never a fan of, but desperate times called for desperate measures. While not too fast, due to her weakness and inexperience with the Magic, the feline was making a break for the exit.

Guild- Blue Pegasus | Rank- C-rank| Magic- Celestial Spirit
The day had taken yet another turn. Mizuki had not expected to find an Exceed in the kitchen of the Broken Crown guild. Let alone an injured and frightened one. She wondered if Linn had been aware of the Exceed’s presence and had not felt the need to share, or if she simply was surprised as they were. Regardless, the redhead was trying to help the feline to the best of her ability. Not an easy task when said creature was on the defensive. The Eridani princess was certain the golden cat was just as much a prisoner as she and Chloe. There could be no doubt based on her reactions to their presence, particularly to Linn’s approach. “Linn,” Mizuki warned. It would be unwise for the wheelchair bound girl to proceed. Gryphi appeared to be in no mood to receive help at the moment. A rapport needed to be established beforehand. Yet Linn pressed onward, rolling ever closer to the seemingly cornered Exceed.
With a sigh, Mizuki did as she was asked, locating a clean rag on a towel rack. She kept her movements slow and measured to prevent riling Gryphi further. Her eyes cast over to Chloe and Blue. At least Blue understood my signal. It is going to be difficult to help without that added to the fold. To her fellow princess, she started to say, “Chloe, move carefully. Any sudden movement…” But as she was explaining what could occur the Exceed lashed out. In a flurry of movement, Gryphi smacked Linn in the face with a fish before then taking flight. The feline’s flight was far from swift, but that was understandable given her state. Mizuki followed her progress, concern alighting on her face. If they moved to stop the Exceed’s escape then she might consider them enemies and be unwilling to listen to them afterwards; however, if they did nothing and she escaped only to run into another of the guild’s members...The princess did not believe that would bode well for the cat. “Wait a moment...please!” She called out, hoping the feline would heed her words if just a little. “You are hurt! It is not safe to try to flee through the castle. If members of this guild happen upon you…” Mizuki trailed off. Death likely awaited Gryphi if Evelyn discovered her.
She turned first to Chloe and then to Linn. “We can’t let anyone else find her. Am I correct in assuming she will likely not survive an encounter with the others?” The last was aimed specifically to the redhead. Mizuki knew the answer were it Evelyn, of course, but she wished to know how far the others of Rosa’s guild would go.

This was long the longest day or hours of her entire life, she'd had more fun being grounded. And to make matters worst, this girl Linn was just giving HER orders, like the audacity?? She knew she had to follow instructions told to her or whatever from Mizuki if they wanted to stay alive, but it just felt ridiculous all the same to her. She would sigh boredly, slowwwlyy walking over to this drawer on the third level, picking up the ice bag, a bored expression plastered to her face, unchanging. She handed it to Linn as soon as she had retrieved it.
For a moment, Chloe froze like a statue in place, only being okay with whatever Mizuki would suggest to her, and that was not moving an inch in this moment. She trusted her on whatever it was. This little feline was really sassy, smacking Linn with that fish, but to Chloe, she kind of had it coming and therefore found it funny as she laughed a bit. However she wasn't laughing for long, the concern Mizuki shed for the feline made her feel quite bad, the people who lived here were sociopath's after all. And no creature or human would deserve whatever hell they were going to give them for just merely crossing paths. "Did anyone from this place bring that kitty here? I'm having my doubts since she just kinda appeared out of nowhere. So..if we can hide her, she'll be safe?" Chloe questioned, wondering if it was a possibility.
