Katrina Halloran - Sign In Table

A puff of air passed her lips and fluttered her bangs away from her face as she waited in line to check in. Katrina Halloran, in her usual apparel, was likely the last person one might imagine seeing at an Easter event of any sort, let alone an outdoor egg hunt. It had honestly been a while since she had done either 'outdoors' or 'daylight hours' in general, outside of work, and it showed in the pallor of her skin.

At the very least, she didn't look like a complete vampire after touching up her face with a bit of cosmetics and throwing on a sundress that wasn't entirely black. It didn't exactly go with the combat boots she'd laced onto her feet, and the overall look was certainly more subdued than usual for her, but she was comfortable.

She stepped up to the table with a broad grin directed towards the silver haired gentleman. "Any special tips before I wander on my way?"

Regina Hopewell - Front Gate

Once she'd claimed everything at the check in table, Regina had peered over the clues before making her first choice to head towards the front gate. It seemed as though a number of people had split up between the other two options with a good number heading for the Founder's Statue-- A logical choice, but not one for her.

"Front gate it is," she muttered to herself, tucking her map into her bag before heading in that direction.

"Well you're no fun." Katrina huffed softly as she took the paper from him, not entirely able to keep herself from pouting as she turned to head away from the table and towards the Founder's Statue. It was worth a shot to check there first, wasn't it?

- The DCU Art gallery is a showcase of the art department's best students. There are paintings and statues on display along with costumes from the theatre department and occasionally a 'live dislay' from some of the more outgoing students. The Art gallery is open to the public and every year the school puts on a large gallery opening to show off the students best work for that year.

- The Library in the DCU campus isn't always a students favorite place but it is a useful one. Usually full of students cramming for tests or trying to find that last reference for a paper the library is a quiet welcoming place. It is the original school library and while the old wooden shelves and hanging ladders are still there a space has been made for computers as well. Plenty of places for students to hide when they dont want to be found as well.

- The DCU Gym is a massive athletic complex built with the students in mind. The two main features of the gym are the schoo's basketball court and the large olympic sized pool. Both home to two of the schools most popular sports. Everything inside the gym is state of the art and students never complain about having to sit in the padded seats for games.

Kim Seung ~ Going from Founder Statue to Library

Seung was still surprised Terry's mother was letting them come to the egg hunt. But it seemed that when he'd asked about Easter,
as he hadn't paid it much mind last year, it had opened up to the mention of egg hunting and the one that was being hosted in the city. So, with permission from his soon to be mother in law he and Terry had gone down to join in on the activity, though he'd promised Juile that they'd both take it easy.

Having followed Terry to the statue he found himself nodding to the others words. "Very nice..." And it seemed there was an egg there, which he'd just missed?

With the next clue he looked over the list with a tilt to his head. "Maybe library? Or art gallery...could hide well with art. Library is big and many places to hide one....gym is big but very open." So not as many places as far as he thought. "Library?" He asked while linking arms with his fiance and heading them that way. It was a good place to check ,or so he thought.

Finch Woods - Heading for the Library


"Oh, how cute." Finch said, their tone soft. They adjusted their easter top shyly, looking to the other girl with wide eyes.

"The library? It's a good idea..." They murmured softly. "Maybe we can find one inbetween the books? Oh, or on a table!"

Finch was... A little comforted checking the statue now actually, and nodded, smiling faintly. Sure, they felt slightly anxious, but meh. &#xhi;s was fun anyhow.

Yolanda Hydrus - the Art Gallery

NEW FRIEND. Yolie beamed, shaking the other girl's hand eagerly and nodded, motioning.

"I think you're right, but maybe the gallery IS a good idea! There's lots of placesand ways to hide things -- besides, eggs are about seeking, or... Ah... Well, you know! It's still fun to look!"

Yolie? Deterred? Not really, and she moved, rubbing at Rhona's back soothingly.

"I know we'll get it eventually, and even then, seeking is still lots of fun!" Yolie just beamed, trying very hard to be comforting. Disappointment sucked -- and she wanted to help!

Kodi Carpenter - Going to the Art Gallery

Alright so she hadn't quite managed to drag them to the big Egg Hunt on time. There had been breakfast to have. Thorin to walk. And then the convincing of attending this event. Because no, she was not going alone! Oh no. She was dragging Mags with her.

Kodi was excited. This would be so much fun! And the poor blonde she was dragging with her was going to have fun too, gosh darnit! She had her arm looped through Mags, not letting the other young woman escape.

"C'mon! This will totally be fun. All ya gotta do is try to find the eggs." She said with a smile, glancing all around at the people scouring the area already for eggs. Oh, had they found any yet?! She hoped they weren't too late! They'd best sign in quickly and get going... and that was so not her brother over there, was it? What was he....

"Wow, someone must have bribed you, bro." She said by way of greeting to Magiore, quickly signing herself and Mags in before grinning at her brother and fleeing the scene before he could go big brother on her.

"Why don't we check out that Art Gallery first?" She suggested to Mags, heading in that general direction.

Tress Gervene (1 egg found) - The Library

"Hm." The assistant teacher produced a noncommittal grunt in response to the boy's claim that he had never done a real egg hunt before. "Sounds like an excuse to me. If you're smart enough to come to the conclusion that things are less easier spotted when placed higher up, then I would have expected you to have the common sense to realize that children even younger than you are hunting for these eggs and it wouldn't do for either Romano's or the DCU for such a child to get injured during an event that they're hosting doing something stupid like attempting to scale a statue. They're schools for goodness sake. If people can't feel like their children are safe here, there are few other places safer."

Uh oh. Was she being too harsh? She could never really tell for certain and it was difficult to keep herself in check when she only thought about holding back after she had already spoken her mind. She had indirectly referred to him being smart, but Tress had also pointed out where he was lacking. Was that not enough to balance it out? Maybe some day she'd get the hang of it. In the meantime, all Tress could think to do was smooth it over with some sort of...positivity.

She nodded toward the statue's open palm where the egg that was slightly less than a foot tall sat. "Look. You were correct about the hiding place, at least." Its well-painted, geometric pattern contrasted with the bronze of the statue and Tress began to wonder how much of a hiding place that was when it was held out by the founder for all the world to see. Maybe it was because people just didn't look up all that often.

"It seems this isn't the sort of egg hunt where we're actually meant to retrieve them," she commented thoughtfully, taking out her list to check off that particular egg and jot down its location. Suddenly the suggestion about taking selfies with the found eggs made much more sense. Taking out her phone,
she quickly completed the task without so much as a smile before reading off the next clue silently in her head. At least she tried too, but the purple-haired boy's words kept interrupting her mental voice.

"I'm not nagging," she stated matter-of-factly, not bothering to look up as her bright green eyes re-traced the letters on the guide through her square-framed glasses. "Nagging is defined by constant harassment. I only gave you a single command in your own best interests. As long as you proceed using proper common sense, I shouldn't have to give any more. Now run along;
there are still more eggs to be found."

Somewhat taking her own advice, Tress left the boy without a second glace, advancing onward toward the Library where she guessed the next egg might have been located.




Wasibru Óir - The Gym

As fascinating as the front gates were, there was no egg to be found in their near vicinity, so Wasi eventually decided to move along. She hadn't started walking very far, however, when a blonde girl's frantic waving caught her attention. The young lady had a pretty spring dress and, with the way she seemed to bounce with energy, looked as enthusiastic as Wasibru felt. And the instant she saw the girl's smile of sunshine, she already knew she liked her.

"Hi! I love your dress," she commented, gesturing at the other girl's garment. "Nope, haven't found anything, but you're right. It's probably only a matter of time with us all split up and spreading out." She tucked a stray strand of her straight, orange, waist-length hair behind an ear, beaming back at the other two girls. "It's fun to hunt for eggs, but I was just as excited, if not more, to meet people, so I'm glad so many showed up!"

She smiled and waved at the other two nearby as well. "My name's Wasibru,
by the way. I think they might be moving indoors, now, though. Let's hurry so we can keep up!"






Madness March - The Art Gallery

Not too far from the girls at the front gate, a hooded figure with a pair of shades finished signing in at last. They didn't seem to be in any hurry, but they certainly looked suspicious since not only their eyes, but the rest of their face was covered by the high-zipped windbreaker jacket they had on. Even when all the Easter egg hunters began to move indoors and the figure made to follow, they didn't seem to have any intention of doing so much as removing their shades.

Instead, they silently observed, watching everyone and everything with their hands stuck deep in their jacket pockets. Withdrawing one to look over the next suggested locations in which to find the eggs, they eventually settled on the DCU's art gallery as their next destination and began to walk.
