I can't remember whether my first foreign book was Don Quiote in Spanish or Kare Kano in Japanese >.<
Now I have the Harry Potter books in Japanese that one day I'll get around to reading (already read them in English) and the first one in french that I'm working through... ^_^'

i finished reading my first book in foreign language (english to me) about a month ago...it was Robert Ludlum's and Patric Larkin's The Moscow vector it was ok...like a scenario of what can very soon happen....

My first foreign novel is ハッピーバースデイ (Happy Birthday) I can't remember who wrote it and I can't be bothered getting up to check. I've only had time to read the first 50 pages. The story is rather depressing thus far xp

i think it was harry potter,i have english as a second languages and it wasnt coming out on my own language in a couple of months so it felt natrual reading it on english enstead.

My first foreign book was a Junior Japanese book called 'Bochi's Friend'. I got it because it was all in Hiragana, and it was a really easy read =o To help me practise.

It was "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" ^_^
I bought it (as the other crazy fans=)) on 21 July 2007 in one of the Moscow`s bookshops.
I had to read it in English because it wasn`t translated into Russian and I did not want to wait for some months ))

I can't really remember, it was a japanese children's book and I couldn't understand a whole lot. The first one I can remember is "Mi nombre es Asher Lev", which is a Spanish translation of an English book, but it's more entertaining to read it in spanish, although I don't remember much of what happens. I found it in a used book store, thought it was cool so I bought it and read it.

The very first was an Englishbook in school, but I really don't remember which one it was. But just a short time after that, I read Harry Potter smile
