Alyssa's eyes flicked to each of their new opponents. They'd obviously been waiting for them for a while. How did she not see this coming? It was no matter, it wasn't like this was the first time she'd been cornered by enemies. She grit her teeth in anger as the dark wizards surrounding them disrespected her guild and guild mates, "Lazy? There's nothing lazy about being thorough," she huffed. Noting that one of the women had pointed out Kaya as a main target, Alyssa's determination to protect her family strengthened. There was no way she would allow these people to take another member of Fairy Tail away, not while she was still standing. "You won't be taking Kaya anywhere," she growled.
The second woman who'd appeared jumped into action against them first. Slamming her hands onto the ground, calling upon her wood-make magic. The requip mage felt the ground beneath her tremble as giant pieces of wood shaped like saws and hammers shot up from the ground. She hissed in pain as one of them grazed her skin during its ascent. Luckily, Katiki jumped in to the rescue, forming an ice shield around them, stopping many of the shadowy fists that seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Casting her eyes around, Alyssa could see the man of the group was using shadow magic to attack them. The ice shield was already starting to crack from the barrage of spells thrown at them. She thought hard about the ice wizard's question: what were they going to do? "We're going to give them a taste of who they're truly up against," she said. Admittedly, she'd been expecting lower level wizards but clearly the person orchestrating this operation was fully aware of the people she was dealing with, which meant at least one of these had to be S-Class. Alyssa could see the first woman finally making a move, producing a simple piece of coloured paper, "Is she going to give us all a paper-cut or something?" she said half-jokingly whilst watching carefully as the paper that was now floating in the air released a large amount of light and a sudden blast of what looked like lightning magic. "Ah, crap!" she exclaimed, bracing herself for a hit as Katiki's shield finally gave out. A few of the shadow fists managed to make it through, slamming into Alyssa's armour hard enough to wind her. "Damn, that hurt," she winced, dropping to one knee.
She'd expected to be hit with lightning almost immediately after being knocked down but something had prevented it. Looking up, she saw that the three Fairy Tail wizards were now encased in a dome of water. It looked amazing. She'd never seen Kaya's magic properly in action before but what she saw impressed her. However, her relief was short-lived as some of the lightning was managing to push its way through the water barrier. But instead of worrying, she stood in front of the others, "Requip: Silver Eternity!" she called upon one of her advanced armours; a golden chest plate with matching shoulder caps, gauntlets, thigh and shin guards and a gold metal skirt equipped with a shining silver one-handed sword, "I have no idea if this will work or not but I'm going to try and block that lightning. My sword is infused with lightning magic so it should nullify it," she said, holding the blade in front of her and stepping forward to the path of one of the strikes, "Lightning Fall!" she yelled, swinging her sword as she did.
"Gah!" Katiki fell back on her butt once her ice shield was broken. "damn" she said as she rubbed her lower back, she felt this coolness above her and with a look she saw Kaya and her magic. "So.. beautiful..." she said softly. Katiki averted her attention back to the three mages when Alyssa changed armor. *You get them Alyssa* she thought as she got back on her feet. "Its time I let off some steam." She looked at at the three mages with an icy glare. "You messed with Fairy Tail, you called us lazy, and more importantly, you took innocent children to lure us here" Katiki said as she moved her hand to the side with such grace as a handle started to appear. "Ice Make... Scythe." Katiki spoke as she looked at the mages in front of her as she gripped onto the scythe once it was formed. She looked over at Kaya for a quick second then back a the three mages "May this blade bathe in your blood!" Katiki said softly, then ran towards the paper wizard at a high speed. "DIE YOU B****!"
After hearing the rumours of the recklessness Fairy Tail members usually displayed, the trio of dark wizards were surprised that the three they were currently facing opted for defence instead of charging straight into an attack. The wood-make wizard frowned as most of her spell was blocked by a shield of ice, "So, you have a magic maker as well," she said observantly, "Not that it matters. I'm sure I'll have no problem countering it. You may have blocked half of my last spell but how about this?! Wood-make: Violent Approach!" she shouted, swinging her arms forward as a huge wooden spiked ball appeared and flew towards Alyssa, Katiki and Kaya. The man smirked as he watched Alyssa suffer a blow from his shadow fists. Even though she was S-Class, that was proof that she wasn't untouchable. Pulling his arms into and X across his torso, he then flung them out, "Shadow Slice!" Blades of shadow flew towards the Fairy Tail wizards, adding to the barrage of attacks that were sure to be thrown at them. The first woman was the only one who wasn't becoming over-excited about the battle. It was clear she was the highest ranked and was taking the mission very seriously, "That was very impressive, Alyssa. A sword that uses lightning. Very clever. However, if all you plan to do is put up barriers of ice and water, you'll never beat us," she said, matter-of-factly. Seeing Katiki in the corner of her eye, she quickly produced a piece of grey paper and threw in in front of her. Without uttering any words, it enlarged to become a shield that blocked the ice scythe that had been swung at her. Calmly she produced another piece of paper, this time it was red, "Let's melt some of that ice, shall we, Ice Queen?" she smirked, "Paper Blizzard: Red Dance." A sudden blast of fire erupted to engulf her targets.
Although the dome deflected most of the lightning, it still seemed some of it managed to push through. That’s some strong lightning. Kaya noted as Alyssa took up defense. The Requip mage called upon one of her many armors which managed to nullify the rest of the electricity. “Nice one!” She grinned in awe at the magic-infused armor, this being her first time seeing this specific one. Her joy over the deflected spells was soon dampened, however, as the three dark wizards sent another barrage in. One of the women launched a spiked ball of wood at the three of them, which was accompanied by blades of shadow from her male companion. “Don’t take us so lightly.” Kaya glared at their opponents. Holding her hand out in front of her, water quickly appeared to take the form of a mirror. “Water Dragon’s Twin Mirrors!”
The mirror in front of her would hopefully take the brunt of the attacks aimed at them. Simultaneously, another mirror identical to the first would form behind the two dark mages. Their own spells would come raging out of the twin mirror, unleashing their power on themselves. Kaya wouldn’t be done though. “Yuki.” She muttered over her shoulder at her Exceed. “On it.” Yuki gave a nod, sprouting wings and taking flight. Neither of them needed to say much to work seamlessly together. Having been together for so long, it was as if they could read one another’s thoughts. This should be high enough… Blue-gray eyes kept watch for any incoming attacks. “Water Dragon’s—“ Kaya inhaled a deep breath, gathering a large quantity of water in her mouth. “—Roar!” A powerful wave of water poured forth to engulf the flames ignited by the last woman.
Dousing the incoming blaze was only the first part, initiated to protect her friends. Kaya also wanted to send the dark mages flying with her roar, pummeling them with debris along with the pounding wave. Her intent was to make a more solid opening for Alyssa and Katiki to go on the offensive. She hated being on the defensive side of a fight. It wasn’t her style. But that lightning… The raven-haired girl realized she’d need to be careful with a mage capable of using lightning. What few times she’d sparred with Kai made her painfully aware just how conductive water could be. While she could figure out ways to overcome it, her main concern was keeping the battlefield from becoming a hot spot and inadvertently giving the dark mages an advantage. Yet, at the same time, Kaya couldn’t deny the excitement she was feeling at the challenge. Her dragon-like instincts were coming to the foreground and she was ready to give these bad guys a taste of Fairy Tail’s might.
Alyssa hopped back to stand with her comrades. They'd fended off most of the attacks thrown at them and that was good but they weren't out of the woods yet. Not by far, both literally and figuratively. As the wood-make wizard formed a huge mace, the requip mage prepared to summon a shield, but before she could even begin her spell, Kaya jumped in with a counter-spell of her own. As the mace came flying towards them, it disappeared into one of the water mirrors the dragon slayer had created, reappearing from the second at high speed. The opponents being unfamiliar with such a spell didn't know what was about to hit them until it was too late, "Atta girl, Kaya!" she cheered. However, there was little time for celebration as multiple blades of shadow were fast approaching. Having to think quickly, Alyssa realised she wouldn't be able to block them all, "Requip: Wind Fleuret!" Her armour changed again, swapping the heavier Silver Eternity for a lightweight set of metal plates that only covered the vital areas of her body, designed to allow better and faster movement. In contrast, the sword turned into an enormous claymore. Most would have found it to be an unbalanced blade to hilt ratio but with the expert crafting of her family, after having the weapon infused with speed magic, it had become almost weightless. "Revolving Wheel!" she cried, running towards the shadow blades and pivoting on her heel, twirling herself and the sword 360-degrees in hopes of slicing through the shadows in order to send them in different directions. As she completed her turn, Alyssa spotted Katiki rushing the paper blizzard wizard with an ice scythe and began to smile, but that was halted as she watched the attack miss and the woman produced a piece of red paper. The requip mage could see that it was starting to set on fire, "Inu, watch out!" she shouted, using the speed magic she'd gained from her armour to rush and grab the ice-make wizard's arm and pull her away. Alyssa soon realised that she'd had nothing to worry about as a jet of water staunched the flames. Looking up, she could see Kaya and Yuki high above the trees. Quickly giving the thumbs up, she prepared for another attack. Unfortunately, the dark mages had managed to avoid the water dragon slayer's roar but that didn't mean they were safe. "Requip: Fatal Scythe!". The lightweight armour was once again exchanged. She now wore a leather bodice with matching gauntlets and boots. In her hands was a large black scythe. "Treble Scythe!" she yelled, swinging the scythe in a huge arc that sent wind blades flying towards all three dark mages.
Katiki saw that her scythe miss the paper wizard. *W-What?!* she thought, her eyes went large the wizard pulled out a piece of red paper. "Let's melt some of that ice, shall we, Ice Queen?" the vile woman spoke to her. "Why you!-" but before Katiki could say another word red flames started to emerge from the paper wizards hand *dammit!* she thought. Just as she was about to get hit Alyssa came to her rescue pulling her out of the way. Once to safety Katiki looked up at Alyssa. "Thanks... I was almost chard back there." she said with frown. "I got a little carried away.." She looked up in time and saw Kaya's water jet put the flames out. "Good job Kaya!" Katiki said as she got back on her feet. With a crack from her neck she smiled. *I have to think this out.* she thought then smirked. "Ice make Ice Wolf " A large Ice wolf appeared. Katiki got on and petted it. "Lets do this old friend" The ice creature nodded. "Jump as high as you can my friend!" Katiki commanded. The ice wolf jumped high into the sky behind the bandits as Katiki looked down at the fight below, she hoped that that Alyssa and Kaya could see her from the position she was in. "Ice make! Ice Shrapnel!" Katiki commanded as shards of ice flew at the enemies.
It was clear the trio of dark wizards had underestimated the company they were going to be presented with on their mission. The paper wizard felt her guild mates were letting her down. These thoughts were only reenforced by the failure of the wood-make wizard's attack which was thrown back at her by the strange portals that Kaya had created. Mirrors made from water; impressive. She could see why Master Kimura wanted her. She jumped back as her red paper was dissolved, a stream of water quenching it before it could even begin to ignite. Either way, it seemed it would have missed. The requip mage had come to the rescue in the nick of time, pulling the ice-make wizard out of the line of fire. The wood-make wizard grinned evilly as her mace headed straight towards the group. In her mind she'd already hit them and won but the reality soon hit her right back in the form of her own attack, sending her careering backwards. She lay on the floor for a moment, trying to figure out what had happened to her. Beside her body on the ground was the very mace she'd just thrown at the three Fairy Tail wizards, "What the hell was that?!" she yelled. The shadow wizard laughed heartily at his guild mates expense. His own spirits weren't dampened even when Alyssa successfully rerouted all of his shadow blades. All he did was admire their power as they sliced through nearby tree trunks, felling several trees. "Shadow Orochi!" he commanded, placing his palm on the floor. From the area his hand laid upon, multiple snakes made of purple and black shadows reared their vicious heads, aiming for all three wizards and now the exceed holding the water dragon slayer high up in the air, "Time to come down!" he grinned menacingly. Almost as soon as he released his attack, another assault from Alyssa came speeding his way. How did she suddenly move so fast? No wonder she managed to save her friend. Blades just like his shadows, but this time nigh on invisible, flew towards him, slicing his arms. The wood-make and paper wizards also received several cuts and gashes. Even worse, as they tried to move to escape them, they each could feel sharp, pin pricks all over their bodies. Daring to look up, all three saw hundreds of shards of what looked like glass raining down on them. "Annoying child," the paper wizard growled, throwing another piece of red paper, a second attempt at melting the ice, "Paper Blizzard: Red Dance! Melt that wolf!" she said. Meanwhile wood-make wizard had finally managed to stand again, "I'll kick you all out of the sky! Wood-make: The Distance between the Two is Forever!" The spell she cast caused many wooden feet to appear, bursting from the ground and flailing to try and kick Yuki, Kaya, Katiki and the ice wolf.

OOC: Katiki, unless your wolf attacks, you don't need to roll for him/her. Since you only cast the spell for creation and jumped, it's successful either way. Only attacks need to be rolled for, like when Alyssa uses a requip - she only rolls if she strikes, a simple change of outfit doesn't require a roll so you're safe with wolfie 😊

“Hah!” Kaya smirked at the fallen wood-make wizard and her struggling comrades. “Told you not to underestimate us!” Her exuberant declaration rang out across the treetops. Despite the dark wizards managing to escape her roar, they hadn’t been so lucky with Alyssa’s and Katiki’s attacks. She could hear the humming of the wind blades from the S-rank’s scythe as they raced towards the three opponents. Now we’re talkin’… As she waited for the blow to connect, movement from the shadow mage caught her attention. His hand slammed onto the ground, producing a multitude of shadow-like snakes. Each one writhing and wriggling into the air in a bid to strike herself and Yuki down while also going after her guildmates. “Oh no you don’t.” Yuki darted around, zipping this way and that, keeping both them out of reach of the snakes. But he couldn’t dodge them all.
As he made a loop to double back, his focus was lost for only a split second. It was long enough though and he felt something unnatural creep along his tiny leg. “Ah!” He squeaked in surprise as the shadow snake started to pull him roughly towards the ground with the Slayer in tow. Kaya’s head whipped around in time to see what was happening. Water wrapped around her hand and she sliced at the snake to free the Exceed from its hold. However, it had done its job by bringing them closer to the ground. More of the shadow snakes shot up to constrict around the Dragon Slayer’s legs and arms, drawing the two friends even further down from the sky. Kaya could even feel her skin prickle from the shards of ice Katiki summoned after having been dragged into the crossfire by the shadows. To make matters worse, the wood-make mage and the paper mage were on the offensive again. The raven-haired teenager could smell the flames ignite from the one spell before a harsh kick from below distracted her.
A yelp of pain filled her ears in the same instant. Wooden feet pummeling the two friends. “Yuki, let go!” She told the Exceed, not wanting him to get hurt anymore. “But—”“It’ll be fine. Trust me.” There was a second’s pause before the silver-haired feline gave a “Mhm” in acknowledgement and let go. Kaya made sure his escape wasn’t impeded by the wooden feet or the shadow snakes, chomping down on the snake around her right arm to free it while maneuvering to take any hits meant for him in the process, and that he was clear of the fire. Once satisfied that he was okay, the teenager decided that it was time to return the favor to the dark mages. “Water Dragon’s Cloak!” She cast the spell that would take the brunt of physical blows from the wooden feet in addition to protecting her from the fire while she prepared for her next spell. “Water Dragon’s Piercing Claw!” Water focused into fine, sharp points around the fingertips of her freed hand. She would then bring her arm across in a slashing motion, targeting the remaining snakes as well as the shadow mage. Finally, she would use her momentum to perform one more spell. Even more water engulfed her arms and hands as she angled her body in the direction of the dark wizards and began to spin. “Water Dragon’s Raging Drill!” Her body would unleash a dense, rotating stream of water that held the potential to cut through wood.

Just when she thought the tides were turning in their favour, Alyssa found herself faced with an even bigger challenge than she had with the high-speed shadow blades. These shadows seemed to have a mind of their own and when she swung her scythe to cut through their writhing bodies, she found they easily slithered out of the way. She stepped back as they began to strike out, just like real snakes. Another swing of her scythe yielded no results. The requip mage cried out as several of them attacked her at once, wrapping themselves around her arms and legs with one finding its way to her neck. As they squeezed, she lost her grip on her weapon and her focus along with it causing the armour to disappear and return back to her normal attire. However, this gave opportunity. Her normal breastplate and gauntlets were much thinner and loosened the grip of the snakes allowing her to slide one arm free. Several of the shadow snakes had latched onto her with their teeth and constricted her other arm so tight it was starting to go numb, "Requip: Anneal Blade!" she commanded, producing a huge black blade shrouded in flames. Risking more injury to herself, Alyssa held the flames close to her snake-covered arm, burning them away. Hissing in pain, there was relief after the burn as the live shadows finally evaporated but not without leaving her arm bloodied and feeling temporarily useless, "Damn, I can't use this blade with one hand. It's too heavy. Requip: Radiant Light!" The flaming blade disappeared and was replaced with a thin, sharp rapier with a beautiful hand-crafted white-gold hilt encrusted with sapphires. The blade was made entirely of light magic and shone like a star. A white armour, matching the elegance of the rapier's hilt adorned her. It was light as a feather but protected her better than a lot of her others. Even with a bad arm, she felt confident. Alyssa breathed deeply, regaining concentration and setting aside the pain she could feel. Finally on track, she found herself able to hop back and forth to avoid the wooden feet bursting from the ground. Soon there wouldn't be any ground left for that wood-make wizard to work with! Kaya was making good work above the tree line though it seemed she'd run into a few issues while Alyssa had been dealing with her reptile problem. The slayer had received several more injuries than when the requip mage had last checked on her. However, it appeared the only shadow snakes left were the ones that were headed for Katiki which mean Kaya had things back under control. She grinned widely as the water dragon slayer released her most impressive attack yet, "I knew I made the right choice putting her forward for the S-Class trials" she said quietly to herself, "And once we get Master Clement and the others back, she'll be able to show them what she's got as well." Noticing another piece of red paper floating around, Alyssa was about to rush forwards and cut it down before it started to ignite but found she didn't need to. The water from Kaya's Raging Drill doused the flames and rushed past, heading for the three dark wizards. Turning to search for the ice-make wizard, Alyssa called out to her best friend, "Inu, you ok over there? Let's use this opportunity wisely!" Taking an opening in the rotating tidal wave, she jumped in behind the shadow wizard, the man who had been giving them the most grief, and pulling her arm back "Nova Ascension!" she yelled, thrusting the light blade forwards.
As Katiki and her wolf were in the sky, her ice shrapnel's hit the enemy, *Gotcha!* she thought, she then looked again and saw that Kaya and Yuki were getting in the cross fire, "What the! Kaya!!" Katiki said as she was about to go and help her, but seeing the look on her face, she saw that she had an idea. *You can do it Kaya!.* Katiki thought. With her gaze back at the enemy she saw this shadow wizard use some strange things shoot out from them. looked looked down at the ground and saw the wood make wizard shoot out many wooded feet. "Dammit! Quick! Jump on those pillars and run down to that wood wizard!" The ice wolf nodded and fell down to one of the wooden beams running down with grace, heading towards the wood style wizard. Katiki heart almost stopped when she herd Alyssa cry out, She looked over and saw her covered in these shadow like snakes, *So their snakes huh.* she said as her anger was building up all over again When she herd Alyssa's words and nodded and saw she was hurt.*I'll help heal you once were done here Alyssa don't worry* Katiki thought as she saw the burns with a nod she screamed "Gotcha!" As the wolf was running down from pillar to pillar, jumping from one to another, Katiki looked and saw the shadow wizard not to far away, She looked and saw the same shadow snakes coming for her. "Not this time! Ice Make! Ice Scythe!" Katiki commanded as a scythe made of the hardest ice known to man was formed, the sleekness of it was made for speed, the blade was made to do some major damage and possible death if used right. As Katiki and her wolf were getting closer to the wood make wizard her eyes were filled with rage. "I'm going to end your existence!" Katiki screamed as her feet jumped on the back of her wolf, the snakes slithering up the ice creature, just as they were about to hit her, Katiki jumped off her wolf, close enough to hit the wood make wizard. "Prepare to die!" Katiki screamed "Ice Scythe!" she jumped down next to the wizard, swinging her scythe.

The shadow wizard smirked as his shadow snakes did his bidding and had begun to drag the water dragon slayer lower to the ground, pulling her ridiculous flying cat along with them. His grin only widened upon seeing Kaya suffer more injury from the wooden feet that were flailing around in the air. Looking around, he could see Alyssa was struggling even more, her whole body covered in the slithering creatures, biting through her clothes, managing to render one of her arms completely useless as they relentlessly strangled the blood supply from it, "Not much of a swordswoman without use of your arms," he taunted the requip mage. Unfortunately, the ice-make wizard herself had avoided the shadow snakes but her ice wolf had still taken a hit from them and that would be good enough for now. Whilst busy admiring the damage his spell was doing, the man failed to notice the attack coming from Kaya and as it cut through the remaining shadows, he had no time to move before the sharp water claws struck him, slicing through the skin on his arm and shoulder and knocking him to the ground, "Damn, you b**ch!" he growled. Hauling himself up, the sound of rushing water reached his ears. Suddenly, all three dark wizards found themselves swept away by a blast of rotating water. The wood-make wizard yelped as the tendrils of water lashed against her skin and the paper wizard coiled up in the flow to protect her body and face. The man spotted a bright light in the corner of his eye; Alyssa had jumped into the flow of the water drill with intention of taking him out, "Oh, I don't think so," he chuckled deciding that instead of fighting the water as he was, he'd let it take him, allowing him to pulled out of the line of the requip mage's attack. The wood-make wizard managed to fight her way out of Kaya's attack and sat on the ground, panting, "That's not what I wanted to achieve by knocking her down, stupid slayer," she grumbled like a child, standing and wringing out her hair. Somewhere above her, she heard someone yell followed by an intense pain that slashed across her back, causing her to scream and fall forward. Blood soaked through her clothes, staining them red, "You little witch!" she shrieked, "Wood-make: Heart's Sense of Distance!" She yelled, placing her hands on the floor as a cluster of giant swords and chisels erupted from the ground underneath both Katiki and her ice wolf, intending to shatter the canine and impale the ice queen. The paper wizard had managed to pull herself from the swirling waves of Kaya's spell and produce another piece of paper, "Paper Blizzard: Green Dance," she said, releasing the paper. Slowly it dissolved in mid-air, releasing a green-coloured poisonous gas that engulfed the area. Spotting their guild mates spell, the shadow wizard created a mask of shadows to cover his face before turning on the Fairy Tail wizards, "Knuckle Shadow!" Dark punches were sent towards them once more. The wood-make wizard created a half-mask of air-permeable wood with holes too small for the thick poison to seep through and stood back to enjoy the show for a moment and recover some of her strength.
Following through with her attack, her body spun in rhythm with the rotating waves until she whirled to a stop on the other side of them. A small smile marked her lips as she stood there. She felt her spell connect with all three mages like she intended. About time I got a good hit in! Peering over her shoulder, Kaya took stock of their injuries to see exactly how much damage she had done. The shadow mage now sported gashes across his shoulder and arm while the wood-make and paper mages looked like drowned rats with bruises. Not as serious as the Dragon Slayer hoped for, but still not bad. However, from the sounds and smells of things, her friends had accrued injuries at some point. Just as she and Yuki did. Speaking of… Her eyes lifted to the sky in search of Yuki. A few seconds later, she spotted him hovering nearby, eyes locked onto her position. “Oi, Yuki—” Kaya waved him over.
He flew down to her, floating a few inches from her face. “You okay?” Small pricks of blood dotted his fur and she could see a nice bruise forming around his leg. Her concern for him distracted her from the fight momentarily. “Mmph. Are you?” Yuki’s blue-grey orbs were laced with the same worry. “Yeah. What’d’ya say we—” She hesitated, sniffing something odd. Eyes widened when she realized what it was. Deftly fanning her hand over her mouth, she conjured water to protect from inhaling any of the poison. The water would filter the poison as it passed through, nullifying its effects and allowing her to continue fighting. She did the same for Yuki, Katiki and her wolf, and Alyssa, being sure to form bubbles around their mouths so that they could breathe via air pockets. Hoping that none of them had inhaled the noxious fumes, the raven-haired teenager turned her attention to the shadow punches being sent their way by the male.
Water engulfed both of her fists. With a sneer, she raced forward to meet the attack head on. “Water Dragon’s Crashing Fury!” Blow for blow, she would match the shadow fists, her speed and fury increasing with every connecting hit until she could break through them entirely. Once achieved, Kaya would then concentrate the liquid around her right fist entirely before thrusting forward. “Water Dragon’s Storm Fist!” An incredible pressurized stream of water would issue forth to slam into the man and, if she were lucky, maybe even one of the other dark wizards should they happen to be nearby. “Try this one on for size!”
✸ OOC ✸ I'm not sure if I needed to roll for the water masks or not since they're technically not a spell. So I only rolled for the 2 actual ones she did. Let me know if I need to retry it. smile

Alyssa was panting. Her injured arm coupled with the fast changing of her armours was draining her power quickly but she couldn't stop. She had a responsibility; she was the S-Class member of this team, the person tasked with keeping other guild members safe. Keeping her friends safe. Her family. As she focused on regaining her breath, an odd scent filled her nostrils; pungent and sickly sweet. As a green cloud settled around them all, realisation set in, "Poison paper, " she said to herself. Something cold enveloped the requip mage's face and she somehow found herself breathing easy in the gaseous toxin. Moving her eyes down she noticed a bubble of clear water surrounding her nose and mouth. She looked towards Kaya and smiled, though she worried how long this would last, "Requip: Fatal Scythe!" Alyssa once again wielded her giant scythe, swinging it in an arc level with her chest and sending out a blast of wind so powerful it dispersed the poison, clearing the air. "That was close. Everyone ok?" she asked her guild mates. Several loud cracks drew her attention back to Kaya who was matching the shadow wizard's spells blow for blow, destroying the flying fists one by one with equal strength. Pride in the dragon slayer swelled in Alyssa's chest. However, it was a different story all together for Katiki. The wood-make wizard had completely lost her temper and aimed a detrimental attack towards the ice-make wizard, "Inu! Get out of there!" she cried out to her best friend. Even if Katiki noticed now it would be too late but there was a chance she could save her, "Requip: Guardian Knight!" she commanded, her scythe swapping out for a two-handed sword that caused her bad arm to shake from the strain of holding it. She ignored the pain and focused on her task; stop that attack or at least take some of the hit so it wouldn't fatally wound the girl she cared for so deeply. She sprinted forward, jumping into the air where the numerous sharp spikes were aimed for and swung her sword with all her might. As she did so, a dark purple barrier in the shape of a semi-sphere shielded the blade, "You've signed your own death warrant for attacking my best friend, you b**ch!" she shouted.

Katiki smirked as the strike hit the Wood make wizard, the smell of blood was prominent in her nostrils. Katiki jumped back looking at the damage that was done. "Be glad that's all my blade did." she spoke with such venom. As Katiki spoke those words a green haze was surrounding her, "What the?!" she spoke, then a cold feeling surrounded her face. *Bubbles? Is it masking the poison?* With a glance over at Kaya she saw a showdown between the shadow wizard and Kaya, blow for blow, matching in strength. A cold blast of air made Katiki smile, *That's Alyssa's scythe's wind...Good job Alyssa.* she thought
At the sound of Alyssa's voice, all seemed like slow motion, Katiki looked back at the wood make wizard, her breath all but stopped as swords, and chisels made from sharp wood were coming right for her. Her eyes went wide, she was trying to think of some kind of attack, just as the pieces of wood were about to hit Alyssa came, blocking the attack. Katiki smiled, tears threatening to come. "cussing now huh?" she said with a crack in her voice. Katiki saw her burned arm and the struggle she was having with holding her shield, lightly touching Alyssa's burn, cooling it down, and easing the pain from the heavy armor she is wearing. "You got about twenty minutes until that chill wears off, you can still fight with it though, it will numb the pain." she whispered only for her to hear. "Now its time for an eternal winter for you." Katiki said as she got just out of Alyssa's feet range. "Ice make! Ice Sculpture" Katiki spoke as she placed her hands on the ground, ice shooting from her fingers to the wood make wizard. *Lets hope this works* she thought.
OOC: Not sure if I have to roll for numbing Alyssa's arm, so I'm not going to as of now, if I need to just PM me and I'll re-roll for it.
