"The Bahari is a truly wonderful pride. I'm from the Kizingo'zaa. The Bahari and us go back a long time." He said giving her and the other lioness a smile. "I did not mean to interrupt your conversation." He said looking from Nuzhah to Sagasu.

Desher was relieved that his suggestion was taken so well. Being so new, he wasn't sure how others would react to that kind of scenario that had just occurred. Best to move it along and not dwell.

He stayed close to Lani when the bird jumped to the white lioness just in case she needed help navigating the crowds. His eyes caught sight of a pile of cubs tackling a familiar red maned male. They sure looked like they were having fun. Even Eade. As they approached the booths he noticed the spinning game. "Lani there's an easy game. Spin the wheel." It looked easy and he noted everyone won something. That was nice of them.


Eade tried not to laugh at the adorable way the cubs tried to save one of their own. Instead he flopped over with a groan, "noooooo!" He released his 'captive' and squirmed under the cub's attack. The male looked around for another "adult" to join in. He reached his paw to the those sitting or standing nearest him. "Help meeeee!"


Yang was delighted when the cubs came to his rescue and toppled the large male. He bounced gleefully free then spun around and leaped on Eade, worrying on an ear. He grinned at his fellow cubs in delight at their success.

Delighted to finally be seeing more of the event she eagerly went with the group towards a spinning game - the bonus, everyone wins. The prize was just ever changing and included a huge bonus prize!

Yawo did like her games, perhaps something that was handed down to her from her Mother - a trickster who probably liked a game or two, whether or not they were similar to these games was up for grabs.

"Oh give it a try Lani!"

The pale lioness happily encouraged her friend all while making sure she remained calm enough to have the bird upon her back - it was kind of nice to have a weight there, perhaps she would consider getting her own bird friend - if one would grace her with it's presence, that was a thought for another day.

Hima turned as the noise level grew and was surprised to see so many lions crowding the beach. Some were familiar from the Kizi but she didn't want much to do with them right now, so she kept her place in the sand. Right now she wanted to see if her mate would succeed or fall into the sea. Either way she'd have a good time even if she knew Ram wouldn't be happy if he failed.

Udayi was quick to spot the two brothers that she had made fast friends with. She headed in their direction before shifting her goal as Dagr started to chat with another lioness. Kari was off on his own, so she figured he could use someone to talk to.

"Fancy seeing you here," she said with a grin as she approached the male. "It's almost as if we planned it."

Seeing so many of her older siblings made Starfire grin with delight. It was nice having them around, they were a great support system and it made her feel a little less nervous. "A little," she admitted to Vanellopie. "But I think it's just because I've never done one of these before, not even with Mother. But now that you all are here I'm sure I'll do just fine!"

The offer to play a game made her shake her head. "I'll pass, but I'll go with you if you want to," she said, tilting her head a bit with a grin. She wanted to keep her attention on what was going on out on the rocks with the leader of the pride.

"Ah," he replied, "that makes sense." Perhaps if she met the right one, she might decide to throw caution to the wind. His mind wandered briefly, picturing Udayi momentarily before he blotted it out and turned his attention back to the conversation he was having.

Truthly, Dagr did quite enjoy these festivities. It was just that a part of him couldn't let go and relax as others could. Like he was keeping up appearances even when he didn't need to. "It will take some getting used to but the very fact that you are here bodes well. You could be holed up in your den, but you made the effort to come. And, in time, once unfamiliar faces become familiar ones, you'll grow more accustomed to the crowds." Or so he assumed.

He gave a gruff sound and stood again, glancing around him. "Lets see if there's anyone we can introduce you to. How does that sound?"

Kari jumped at the sound of a familiar voice close by, turning to see the unusually marked lioness coming up behind him. His heart fluttered, widening his smile as he moved to greet her. "Ha! Perhaps we did. It's so good to see you here. How are you doing?"

He stepped closer still. "Did you decide on what rank you will take within the pride?"

Camayo wasn't sure where his cubs had wandered off to, but he wasn't too worried either. This was a pride celebration and they should have some fun. Okay yeah, he should probably be fussing over them and keeping them close, but he just couldn't bring himself to tell the cubs they had to sit still and do nothing so he could see them at all times. He wanted them to have some fun. This was a very special day and they weren't going to have things like this very often.

The big male looked around and spotted two of his offspring for certain, He saw the adult that they were "attacking" and grinned as he went over. "What have my mighty hunters caught?" He nuzzled Yang and picked him up off the male. "He looks like he might be all skin and bones. I am sure we can find something better to hunt." Camayo wasn't sure who the other male was, but figured he wouldn't mind a little teasing at this point. He was playing with the cubs afterall. That had to speak of a sense of humor.

Camayo then looked at his one daughter whom was also involved in the goings on. "Hmm, it would seem I have two little hunters of a scrawny lion. I don't know, I think i might have to teach you both to pick better prey." He chuckles and gives his daughter a nuzzle too. His cubs were probably the most spoiled in the whole pride. He and his mate were just so grateful to have cubs that they often did not curb their actions enough.









Rosha was not far behind her mate. She often stayed right by his side if she did not have to grab a wondering cub. The bright lioness was absolutely delighted at all the cubs she and her mate had. They were all perfect just like her mate. She really needed to tell her brother about them. With him in the Kizi and her over here, it was not as easy as it should be to make time to talk. She was happy to see so many of her cubs having her bright colors too.

Rosha always thought of her colors as "happy" colors. Perhaps this would mean her cubs would have a happy ending to their stories like she did to hers. Camayo was her happy ending. Perhaps he wasn't a Pad of her old pride whom wanted a completely obedient Banu, but he was a good mate whom loved her. The tragedy of her pride had actually given the lioness something better than she had before.

Rosha snickers as her cubs pounce and play on the adult male that her mate was referring to as their prey. Oh they did look to be having so much fun, and her mate was having just as much fun teasing the already 'abused' male. "One would think with hunters as parents, our cubs could pick better prey, yes... we shall have to do something about that, I suppose." She grins at them and winks. "And who is your new little friend?" She was looking at the other cub that was not hers. She would ask the adult's name later.
