At least, in her mind. This was supposed to be a weekend of bliss, love, lust. No one in the castle was quite as ready for a day of sinful pleasure as General Reapettite.
The mirror that reflected the little bit of light that was shed was placed in the corner of a deep, dark room that was veiled in shadow. At first, only her sanguine eyes flickered in the reflection of the polished glass. She purred as her face, done in the finest make-up, filled the mirror like mist. Now only to pick out a dress for the night.
There was a knock on the door. Her youma.
"Master," the beast yelped as if it was almost afraid to disturb the woman. "The enemy. Storming the castle. Everyone is being summoned, my lord. Even the youma."
It was a shame. Truly, it was. To waste such a beautiful night.
Tonight was supposed to be her night. But perhaps it still was. A sharp scythe appeared in her hands as if from nowhere as she called all of her power to her breast.
A single drop of blood fell to the ground as General Reapettite ran her touch across the hallowed blade.
Tonight is a perfect night for battle.

Sailor Skoll, Senshi of the Pack
Now this was podracing was a fight. She cracked her knuckles, mouth splitting into a grin that showed teeth. Skoll had learned at an early age that showing teeth in a smile or grin made it all the more terrifying for one's oponnet. To show no fear, and instead excitement or pleasure, was just enough to faulter most people's resolve. Excited enemies were far more dangerous than ones with a grim face.
They were reckless, and held nothing back.
For Hati's sake, she held most of herself back. He was the more cautious of the two, and she was loath to leave him by himself. They rounded a corner into the thick of it, and she glanced around at the different agents already engaged. Powerful enemies, with weaponry. Damn, they should have brought the shoto with them. As it was, Skoll was missing her knuckleduster.
"A'ight, bro. Let's break some faces," said the senshi with a grin.

Bifrost Knight of Chronos
The transcendant knight wasted no time jumping into the fray. She was here, she was in the thick of it, and it would be terrible to go running back to the portal. Bifrost had to hold the line, even here, and to turn back on that duty...
She'd be just as much of a coward as she accused everyone else of being.
She hefted the shield on it's chain and looked around for a target. Several generals hung around the area, and there were more younger senshi than Bifrost wanted. She began to spin the shield, the bright Chronos symbol turning into a ring of light in the middle of the spinning weapon.
"Hey you!" The knight let the shield fly, running towards a general with a scythe (Reapettite). The shield did not have a very far range, but it was heavy and probably packed a whallop if it hit. Bifrost wasn't really that sure. She'd never fought with it before. Time for a learning experience!
She'd never been good with taunts, either.

Super Sailor Elpis
Elpis didn't have much time to adjust her charge, and too much momentum to stop - and as such the senshi dropped into a slide, grimacing as the spear sliced through half of her cloth gauntlet and upper arm. Elpis hissed sharply, feeling the blood come to greet the surface of her arm and snarled, moving to use her position to try a sweep kick. She needed to think of some way to disarm him - quickly, considering he seemed higher tiered.
Regardless, it looked like he wanted a fight to the death. Well alright, she could do this. She had to, and she had to win - for her brother, her father, to see Joseph again - and her mouth twitched, eyes narrowing. She wanted to enter a berserker mode, but it wouldn't help. But for now, maybe... She mght try calculating more, and brute less.

Super Sailor Cybele
She sprinted after Elpis as soon as she saw the other girl engage a General, but before she could catch up or do anything to help, she found herself face to face with the business end of a rather nasty looking spear... belonging to another General. They were in the Negaverse's castle, of course it was going to be filled with high ranking officers, of course Order was going to be outnumbered, but... in that moment, all the teamwork part of her plan was sort of crushed.
It was fine. She could do this. She didn't have time to think otherwise. She could still do something- keep him away from the basics, at least. Anyway, spears... spears she had some experience with. She sidestepped an attack that had only been aimed vaguely in her direction and glared, giving this man her full attention. "Well, you're always ambushing us in the middle of carnivals and concerts," she said matter of factly as she sprang forward, not trying to attack him directly but to grab his weapon. "Look, you're already in uniform!"
Clipboardite walked over to catch a vision of the racket that had been building or so she heard; an invasion or something or other. But there was no need to hurry, she probably wouldn't miss much. And even if she did, it was highly unlikely to be so big of a deal that she'd care that she did or did not make it to the so called party. And so here she was, still walking, still grinning like there was something to grin about while not finding anything worth grinning about despite doing so. She moved carelessly to a made up beat in her head as her heels clicked with each of her steps, each of her haphazardly taken footfalls to maybe eventually get to the site of all the supposed commotion.
And lo and behold, she did arrive. "My, my, my," she commented breezily as she tapped the back of a clipboard she held in one hand by the end sporting a clip against her other upturned and open hand's fingertips, "as always, there is no shortage of disrespect all around." There was so much of so much; so much hypocrisy, so much of and so on and so forth.
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em, right? Just stop fighting against adding to offenses and go with it all, the dirty work, the malicious acts, the satisfying affliction of pain and suffering. It also seemed like so much more fun when she joined up perhaps because now it was just whatever but oh well and yeah sure anything works. And why not see if one might have a blast while at it every now and then maybe? Or not; high expectations were no longer remotely close to being a part of any sort of list of priorities in her chosen reality. There was no list of that kind, plain and simple, since for her it was an unnecessary hassle to put up with. And she had discarded such a list, probably a while back now, some time somewhere in her seemingly distant past that she didn't care about knowing the exact timeline anymore either if she ever did care about that or anything else in a good long while. So far things were more or less what she expected of probably having sold her soul for probably nothing much if anything at all, so who cares. She stopped caring a long, long time ago, but that was ancient history. So, now it was time to move on from wasting her time on uncalled for musings.
She leaned sideways with one of her shoulders touching up against the surface of one of the castle's many walls. Her location at present afforded her with a fair enough view of at least part of those who had barged their way into the place. Then she uncrossed her legs, swinging her foot from its relaxed state of making contact with the level surface of the floor with just the tip of her covered toes.
"Please, allow me to welcome you to the kingdom you have intruded upon," she addressed the trespassers with a beaming scan of her gaze as she went about getting closer to them, "I'm only one of many having in mind to do the same, of course. And my hospitality skills are not nearly as refined surely. But, I'm willing to do my part towards humbly offering my measly contribution for this momentous occasion to perhaps set off on a not so level track."
And with that, she settled on now wordlessly maintaining the easy grin on her face as she assertively approached the closest individuals to her among the enemy ranks and offered her greetings one by one with swift swings at them with the clipboard of document sheets she gripped in her dominant hand's hold while her other arm had braced in a seemingly defensive bend but was rather just positioned so as not to deter her friendly motions so willing to personally provide any paper cuts available for distribution and desired to be received.

Gunaditonite, Disposable General
Guna's eyes narrowed aggressively at the senshi. "How dare you!" he cried. "That because you sailors are a threat to Chaos! We will stop at nothing until every last one of you is eradicated!"
He jumped back when Cybele advanced on him; his spear just barely twirling out of her touch as he stumbled. He wasn't much a fighter and it showed; her attempt to grab his weapon caused a small pearl of sweat to form on his temple. Guna was nothing without his spear and the most he could really do with it was threaten. He seemed to lengthen the space between him and the senshi out of weariness while still spitting instigation.
"The longer you stay here, the more guaranteed your death!" he said. "So you're already defeated before even putting up a fight!"
Lieutenant Tryptophanite was not very well suited to bureaucracy, but no one had figured that out quite yet. A relatively recent recruit, he'd been assigned under the command of a general who took paperwork very, very seriously, and was doing her best to imprint the same sense of duty on her youthful charge. Tryptophanite wanted to be good, truly! It was just his weapon caused an awful lot of trouble, and it was impossible to file orderly paperwork when everything you touched wound up covered in a fine layer of...
Turkey gravy.
When the doors burst open, Tryptophanite dropped the thick file of papers he was holding with a splorch, reports going everywhere. He instantly fell to despair - those had taken hours to write!
He rounded on the nearest intruder, leveling his turkey leg at her, fury in his eyes.
"Do you have any idea what you've just ruined?!" shrieked Tryptophanite.

There was only so much they could do and go with so many officers coming in from all corners to block the way. On the other side, he remembered just how many recruits and officers could fill the Rift during meetings, but he also gritted his teeth to know that they were just as loyal as he had been. They were loyal, and he couldn't save them if they got in his way.
This was a chance he might never get again, and it presented a problem, a question to himself, that he had been asking for days since Caedus' offer.
What to do when facing the officers on the other side? His comrades?
His mind had wandered back to the days when he was still Lieutenant Wolframite, back when Nealite showed him in that alleyway the way to remove a starseed. This was all for the greater good. Their sacrifice would ensure the safety of Earth.
That this, no matter how you looked at it, was war.
They would all die one day. They knew this. If they fought him, he couldn't back down.
He had wrongs to right.
"GET THE HELL OUT OF OUR WAY!!" He barked, summoning his own weapon. It wouldn't do any good against Metallia anyways. He doubted he could restrain a force like THAT with his knight magic chain. Instead, he would need to break these officers apart and get them out of their way.
"You want to fight ME? You want me to add you to my personal graveyard?! COME AT ME THEN!" He shouted to those all around him.
The others could find a way. "Everyone, find the energy signature. Go down! Metallia is in her chamber. Watch out for the stone guardian statues if they come to life. I'll help clear the way!"
He turned to look for those opposing him.
KNIGHT GEVAUDAN IS OPEN FOR KILLING SOME DISPOSABLES!
He hadn't been expecting her to say the least. Then again, as he worked through a few various bodies and felt the hot blood coat his arms and skin, Castor hadn't really seen or heard anyone he had known or shared a history with. Not even a single encounter.
At least until She showed herself.
Dark Blue eyes look the sight of the lieutenant, wondering if perhaps, had he not been a fool he might have saved her. But in the end- "No." He said, flexing his hand, the blood sticky as is slowly dried. "You chose this life. Walked right into their arms. Had you wished, you could have sought us out yet you did not. You killed yourself." Castor considered himself a practice man, and while he knew he was a walking target. The only way to Metallia would be to find a guide. An to him> He'd just found his. Walking forward he grabbed her neck and squeezed. "You will die one way or another but for now-" And just like that he let her go. "Take me to Metallia. If all goes well, maybe you'll find a new life when my task here is done."

Valhalla and Sessrumnir of Jupiter
“s**t, this isn’t good,” Valhalla mumbled softly to himself as they entered into the castle and the fighting immediately started. He knew going into this that there would be a fight, but he was personally after the source of Chaos, and of course to be there as support. He didn’t have magic, so that was pretty useless, but he did his best to keep on guard.
And he didn’t say it out loud, but there was a part of him that was interested in what the Code had said to him.
”Do you seek to understand an enemy, or to truly know her? Perhaps you should ask her yourself. She’d like you.”
Valhalla cast a wary glance in Ganymede’s direction, but she was distracted with the fight breaking out around them and trying to figure out the best course of action, as anyone with power should.
He, on the other hand, was just a hinderance at this point.
”Don’t even think about it,” Sessrumnir growled, quick to grab hold of Valhalla’s shoulder as he saw his younger brother start to head off on his own. What the hell he hoped to accomplish by going off on his own, he didn’t know, but with Ganymede distracted and talking to Gevuadan.
Unfortunately, it looked like there was a familiar General who decided to appear before them and block their way. For a moment Sessrumnir was going to step in to try and help the Super Senshi out, but it looked as though she was more than happy to take on the General on her own.
Still, Sessrumnir pulled his stormglass from subspace, readying it for action.
With Kainite occupied - and hopefully not dying (it would be a shame to lose a new recruit after only recently gaining him) - it left Aurostibite free to engage with the others. The sound of conflict was vibrant in his ears; it felt almost deafening, loud crashes and scrapes of metal, clangs of weapons and the shouts of magic echoing throughout the hallways.
There were groups of them, clusters.
They were in his home.
Beside him, Behellagh made a screech, and Aurostibite's eyes had narrowed, his gaze sweeping throughout the space. The scalloped blades gripped tightly in his gloved hands, he strode forward without hesitation, aiming for the first person that he saw.
"Hah!" shouted Remus triumphantly, leaping back with a satisfied gleam in his eyes. It was the first time he'd ever cast his magic, and it had worked. He felt particularly smug about this as he turned to look at Durh, Remus's grin rather cheeky.
The swing of the general's sword, slow and sluggish, sliced a thin line across Remus's upper arm, and he let out an inelegant yelp.
"Rude, man!" Remus yelled, hopping backwards, and then diving forwards, swinging his fist towards the general's side. "Stop swinging that thing around, you're gonna kill someone, and I really don't want to die today. I don't think Shirley Temple here does either, or Foxy Lady, so cut it out."
No sooner had they stepped into the castle than they'd been targeted. Thrymr let out a small gasp of mingled surprise and fear, staggering to the side as one of the Negaverse swung at Aegir. Two more had converged upon Mont Blonc, and Ash had leapt to his assistance, looking, Thrymr thought, rather impressive.
He tried to figure out where he was going, what he was doing - and all that was running through his mind was the same thing:
I don't belong here.
I'm not a fighter, I can't protect people the way Aegir can, the way Monty can, the way Ash can.
But thinking of coming back without his teammates - and thinking of not coming back at all - made his heart ache. It was not an option. He could not afford to fail here, and in spite of his weaknesses, he had to work around them and do what he could to support the people he cared for.
Thrymr moved, quickly, through the crowds, and leapt at a nearby Captain, swinging his leg out in an attempt at kicking his leg.

Disposable Lt. Librite
The Negaverse was in chaos.
Or at least that's what it seemed to a fresh-faced recruit. Kind of ironic, considering they served the side of Chaos, that all this disorder would be a bad thing.
She had been going about her business as normal, heading from one training session to another. She'd abandoned her home right after joining the Negaverse and more or less lived there, and had thrown herself into being the best Lieutenant she could be. She'd treated the place like a military bootcamp or something, and reacted accordingly: do what you were told immediately and without question, respect your superiors, study hard to be a useful member of the Negaverse, and someday you may be worthy of a raise in rank, and therefore in power. She wanted that power, very badly.
But the sudden attack threw everything off-kilter. What was she supposed to do? There had been no orders on what to do in times like this, probably because it was supposed to be impossible. So she did the next best thing: look for someone in charge.
She ran through the halls until she felt a strong Chaos power signature. That had to be a higher officer! And sure enough, once she followed it, she soon ran up to a General. She skidded to a stop, threw a salute for good measure, and asked (slightly out of breath), "What are your orders, General?"
Unsurprisingly it quickly turned into chaos the moment the doors were opened. He heard Gevuadan and Ganymede in their plans to slip past and split up so some would be fighting the agents here and some could still head towards Metallia. He glanced over at Venice to make sure he was sticking close while gripping his weapon tightly. A few others were nearby and willing to try and sneak past but before the group could, Gevuadan told them to go ahead with out him so he could fight. While it was disappointing that they wouldn't have an escort, he could understand completely why the Knight split by just looking around at the build up of agents.
He would be prepared to use his magic if/when it was needed but he wasn't sure what it was nor what the distance of it or effects since he hadn't used it before. "Shall we try to continue then?" He asked the group.

She exhaled sharply as the her fingers closed around air, but of course they would. She'd been fighting youma and lieutenants lately. He was a General, and that wasn't just a title. He was faster than she was, stronger too, probably. She was going to have to adjust and she couldn't do anything stupid.
His words didn't bother her. She knew she was in danger. At least he wasn't claiming to protect the planet. "Fine," she said, something going cold in her gaze. "If that's how you want to do this..." Snippets of strategy were flying through her head. Spears were long, good for stabbing people far away... it would probably be better if she could get close.
"...kill me." It was going to be that sort of fight, she could tell already. She took a few steps forward, trying to close the distance between them, and threw a punch- not the best punch, she was at the wrong angle, but it would show that she meant business.

Reapettite | General of the Negaverse
From the hallway, she could hear the intruders. But she need not listen. The general of the Negaverse could sense them.
The aura of the White Moon.
How dare they?
She slammed the door as a lieutenant saluted her and asked for orders.
As the woman made her way down the path dragging the recruit with one hand and holding her dark dress in the other, her heals echoed across the pavement. Seeing with her own eyes the chaos that had become her home, she seethed and turned to her youma who nodded. She hadn't expected the enemy would be so bold.
It was then that a shield hit her cheek leaving a red mark and the beginnings of a trail of blood.
A rage that had yet been seen flared in her eyes as she stared at the knight for a long moment as her eyes grew cold as ice.
"Lieutenant, I command you," General Reapettite snapped her fingers. "Kill that knight and bring back her shield as my trophy."
The general readied her scythe should her underling fail as she stroked the weapon like a pet and licked the blood from her lips.
