He saw his Great Knight come to the door, and Lancelot run after to go deal with something. For a while, he stood there, fingers twitching with curiousity. He wanted to know what was so important they couldn't tell the other knights. He wanted to know what was going on. The small boy snuck after them as best he could, following a group of others who were doing the same thing he was, and moved as quietly as he could to keep his armor from clinking.
Ridon was able to press himself the door and listen.
The Great King was missing and Lancelot was going to find him. Morgana had done more damage than just come out of a mirror. Sir Mordred was... brothers with Morgan, yes? But Morgan was... Morgana? Was that what they meant?
Why did he feel like there was something they weren't telling any of the other knights even more so now?
The young boy ran off back to rest of the Hall, worry in his eyes. This didn't bode well. At all.

[ Milo entering ]
Though as little information as he had to give on what had transpired in the treasure room, Milo was prepared to give his report to Sire Lancelot. Along with a long lengthy apology for his lack of action in regards to not keeping up with the oath he had tried to uphold; he had failed in protecting his fellows, especially his great knight.
He was ready for repercussions, reading for a lecture and a scolding. But then Lancelot excuse himself as another knight beckoned him to follow. At first he had been determined to stay where he was, to avoid any further trouble with the great knights. But, the thought didn't last as long. This could be a chance to not miss on information, so he didn't fall behind the other knights and perhaps to uphold his duty and his oath. This could be beneficial even if it probably wasn't right.
At least karma played a little in Milo's plans, not giving him a clean break to where Lancelot was speaking. There were bumps in the road but eventually he made it to the door and listened as well he could manage. He remained silent, taking in the information he heard - something about the Great King, Morgana and the curse being brought up again. For once, he had a bit of the story instead of lagging behind.
It wasn't great information to hear though, troubling really. News of a traitor in their midst was not welcoming news. And Milo didn't want to be thought of one from his eavesdropping and decided to flee before it was too late.

While others opted to sneak after Lancelot, Ruth decided it was best not to get herself into further trouble and stayed put.

Joy, on the other hand, was determined to do everything she could to better herself. And that involved needing to know things. Which was why she snuck after the Great Knight.
Brown eyes widened in horror upon learning that the Great King was possibly dead. She clapped a hand over her mouth before rushing back.

CHAPTER TWO PART TWO:
Feel free to still roll/reply to the prompt prior (SEE PAGE THREE) involving Mordred's conversation. Once you are done, please go to the link below!
Aiden had stayed in the back while all of the Knights tried to talk to Lancelot. There had been plenty of knights who had seen a lot more then he had. He had after all not fight any of the Great Knights, nor did he mess with the mirror or gate. He crossed his arms and just watched as Mordred showed up in a dramatic fashion, though from what he heard it was a worthy reason to be dramatic. News of the King?! Aiden perked up and started to move closer to find out what the news was, only for Lancelot to tell them all to stay here.
Well, normally Aiden could take an order. Normally. But this was important news! And he was curious! He couldn't just stay here and NOT find out what it was! So he waited for a moment so they would be farther ahead then crept out of the room after them. Since he wasn't the best at stealth, like at all, he ended up bumping into a few things here and there though thankfully he never gave himself away to the Great Knights walking ahead of him. Soon enough the two went into a room and shut the door.
Aiden waited for a moment or two then crept up to the door and listened closely for what they might have been saying. Excitement shot through him when he heard them say the King had been found, worry followed soon after when they said he was in a battle. Against the Witch Queen at that. He worried his bottom lip as they kept talking. Mordred seemed to think the King was dead while Lancelot was hopeful other wise. As soon as he heard them finish talking and start towards the door he made a hasty exit. He did not want to get caught after all.
Aymet had been fairly impassively looking around as the same story got told from two dozen perspectives, all the while Lancelot looking less and less interested. It was a strange fight, to be sure, and one Aymet was not terribly happy about. He didn't like being tricked, and Morgan had deceived them all.
It was no wonder, then, that when Mordred took Lancelot aside, Aymet would be suspicious enough to follow (albeit from a safe distance).
All he gathered, from what he heard, was that Lancelot was going to save the king, and that Mordred was claiming to be totally clueless about his broth- sister. Whatever. Tell that to the Great King, he thought to himself.
Talk of a traitor, though, was the real curious part...

Johan re-entered the Hall with a scowl of frustration. Merlin hadn't even deigned to answer his questions, just glared at him until Johan had to break eye contact and leave. That casket they'd found, the prophecy, the vision. It was too much to think they were just coincidentally in Merlin's room.
Something was rotten in the castle of Camelot.
He noticed a string of Knights sneaking out a side door, and curiosity piqued, followed.
He discovered a gaggle of Knights, surrounding a door, ears pressed to the wood. Raising an eyebrow, Johan did the same. What he heard raised more than an eyebrow, though. The hairs on the nape of his neck, and bile in his throat. The Great King. Dead?!
Suddenly, he could hear approaching footsteps. He and the rest of the Knights scattered. He'd needed time to sort through what he'd just heard. That couldn't have been Mordred Lancelot had been talking to, but Mordred was the only Knight who had, well used to have, a sibling. But who was in the coffin, then?

Makayla spent most of her time against the wall as she listen to the discussion among the other knights. She wasn't one for speaking her mind, but she came close to doing so a few times. Her eyes scanning the others, falling upon a familiar green hair young man, which cause her to look away quickly. She thought back to that strange dream, which once again caused her heart to pound in her chest. Pinching the bridge of her nose, she mentally swore at herself.
This wasn't the time for her to talk to him, as they had more pressing matters to turn to. They shouldn't be fighting among themselves, and yet she found that even she didn't know what to do at the very moment.
She was pushing away from the wall when Mordred came barging into the great hall. Her eyes watching him and Lancelot as they move away and out of the hall itself. Glancing back, she frowns, as she didn't like the thought of the Great Knights keeping things hidden from them. They were in danger, and here they were hiding possible vital information.
This was simply not sitting well for Makayla....
Turning, she kept a good distance as she followed them both, so sure she was going to get caught. Only when she found herself standing just outside the door did she realize she was safe for the moment. Very carefully, she leans in to press her ear slightly to the door as she listens to the conversation.
When they finally stop speaking, she backs away quickly. Her eyes wide as she turns and glance down the hallway. Without delay, she ran as fast as she could.
Trying to process the facts she just heard, and how they were all basically in serious trouble.
Yup, Makayla was starting to wish she didn't actually follow the two Great Knights.

Hazethe Black knight-apprentice ◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆
[ENTER]
Haze had felt weary from the previous events. Everything was seeming to happen at once, and now Lancelot was there and reminding them of all of their mistakes. The white haired man tried his best to stay calm, his face holding no expression as he watched countless others begin to try to explain themselves, to ramble on about what had happened in their own eyes. Haze himself could have said a thing or two but he instead decided to stay quiet. Only observing from afar as he pulled up his red scarf against his mouth. His curiosity peeking slightly from Lancelot's words about new Great Knights.
It would have been any Knight's dream to be able to hold a position of such honor, but somehow Haze felt as if that would be out of his grasp. Letting out a sigh he would catch wind of another Great Knight entering. Tilting up his head the young man would see Mordred making an appearance. Speaking of something to do with the king. This would cause Haze's curiosity to spike even more, what news could there be?
Ignoring Lancelot's words the silver eyed male decided to follow them. Staying as quiet as possible as his feet etched along the ground till he was just around the corner from where the two spoke. What he heard began to send pricks against his skin. What had really happened to the king? He listened to all that he could, attempting to keep a calm mind in the process. Haze couldn't let this get to him, he wouldn't. The young knight just needed to think ahead, think of what he was going to do next and how he was going to handle all of this information.
But just as soon as he got deep in though the sounds of footsteps would seep into his subconscious. Driving the white haired male to make his leave as well before he was caught.

For Ollie, there was no question of whether or not he'd follow to listen -- especially when he saw other knight-apprentices endeavoring to do the same. Lancelot's exasperated expression and failure to answer any of their complaints or questions had rekindled his annoyance, and a bit of eavesdropping -- a bit of troublemaking, in its way -- would be exactly the ticket for him to exact just a little bit of revenge.
So when others started to move in and press their ears against the door, to act casually until they could make out the soft voices on the other side of that heavy piece of wood, Ollie did the same. He whistled, but silently, just a purse of his lips and an incredibly focused expression until he'd ducked out of sight behind a tapestry. From there, he could sneak across the room with his back against the wall and his breath held, an unsightly shape pressed in beneath the dancing shapes of mythical beasts on the walls.
That was alright. It got him there, which meant Ollie could stand quietly out of the way and listen to what the knights had to say. He'd missed the best part of it, it seemed, the part talking about the king, but perhaps he hadn't missed it all. An argument, a disagreement, and he could put together bits and pieces from what the said. The Great King was missing, it seemed, which made him let out just the tiniest little gasp before he pressed his hand into his mouth, and someone was going to hunt for him in the great wild, where horsemen and riders and now, apparently, shadow fae roamed, ready to take down any knight in their path.
The footsteps approached and Ollie started, darting from his listening point back to his hiding place against the wall and, from there, back into the milling crowd, wishing desperately he knew someone to tell this secret to.

As Kari watched the two Great knights walk off together, a sinking feeling began to weight down on her. If Sir Mordred's appearance was anything to go on, the news probably wasn't good.
While she knew that eavesdropping was wrong, Kari was tired of being out of the loop. She wanted answers, and following the Great Knights seemed like the best way to do so. Taking care not to make too much noise as she followed, ducking into alcoves on occasion, she was able to situate herself behind a door, hearing what sounded like an argument. Sir Mordred had found the Great King! But... a spell? "So there was something manipulating the group", she murmured, her hands clenching tighter against her chest.
Kari's mind crashed to a halt at the mention of a body. The Great King might not even be alive anymore? Sir Lancelot's words did little to settle her racing mind. What would they do? Who would advise them? Sir Morgan, Sir Gawain, and Sir Percival had been driven mad in their attempts to assume dominance in the King's absence, would the same happen to the rest of the Great Knights if the King was no more?
She could certainly understand why the Great Knights didn't want this conversation public, now. If their worst fears were confirmed... there would surely be those consumed with panic and despair. Could there even be hope of survival if even the Great King and his Great Knights couldn't stand up to the enemy? Kari wasn't sure anymore.
Hearing what sounded like the tail-end of the conversation combined with shuffling noises, Kari retreated with a heart heavy in the knowledge she'd come across.
