As Riley attacked Yuki, the mirror showed Riley's true form as a sidhe, a creature of pure darkness, shadows and glowing yellow eyes.
"You are nothing," the mirror echoed, and it spoke with Yuki's own voice. It laughed at mocked him. "When you die, you will die as nothing."

The king did this? He...caged her into the form she was in now? This flesh was not her own? Then...In order to regain what she has lost, she needs to see Camelot burn to the ground. But, what about all the things she has done so far? She wanted to be a knight for a reason...A reason she can no longer remember because of the pledge she took. If Morgan was telling the truth, then everything wouldn't matter because in the end, she was not human, she was a traitor.
Amy walked up to the mirror, the beast frightened her, made her question things, but at the same time she was starting to feel....relieved. If this was truly who she was then it was time to accept that truth and own it. She placed her hand on the mirror, the creature mimicking her every move. Amy pulled away and looked Morgan in the eye.
"What must I do?"
She was a monster, a traitor, a beast in a prison of flesh. It was time to be free

She keeps it this way to keep it out of her way when training. Otherwise she wears it free. Her height is about 5'4 with a tanned bronze skin tone that comes from being in the sun far too much. She's usually pretty crass and vocal when the situation calls for it, otherwise she will appear to be everything a proper lady should be. The shrill sound of Riley's cry of pain pierced Yuki's consciousness and drew him out of his daze. He looked away from the mirror in an instant, his heart in his throat.
Just he turned her fingers were around his neck and nails biting against his skin. He gasped in surprise, or tried, choking.
"R-Ril-ey?!" He managed to choke out, his hands coming up to his throat and trying to pry her fingers loose. Even with her trying to strangle him, he didn't want to use force.
His eyes widened as he saw her reflection. One hand groped for her wrist, trying more desperately to pry her off... And yet still, he couldn't believe what he was seeing. If she couldn't tell from the anguish that took over his expression, his eyes squeezing shut tight to block out the image, she could feel it from the weakness of his grasp.
"Pl-ple..."
Please...
It's me.
This can't be you...

The mirror was terrifying and it was exhilarating. She felt for once in her life free.
"Regain your memories," the mirror whispered. "Fight those who oppose you and take them back. Regain your rightful place as one of the sidhe."
The apparition dissolved, leaving only the feeling of destruction behind.

"A promise," Kostya echoed, the chaos filtering back into his sight and vision, becoming real and tangible once more, "best not be broken. By either party. I shall prove myself worthy of receiving power."
He pulled away, and loaded his weapon. The cage would hold him no longer. "I shall."
With new eyes, Kostya gazed upon the battlefield, teeth shining in his feral grin. He saw the shadow of her and closed in on it like a shark did to blood in the water, firing on the same target she had just slashed.
"Have you had an awakening?" he crooned to her, even as he re-armed his crossbow. Yuki was merely the unfortunate target, caught between a crazed mind and one that lusted for the promised power of a King.

With dark brown hair and two days of stubble, Kostya is a rugged, attractive knight. Although he's not the tallest among the knights-- measuring in at only 5'7"-- his body is honed from the training he did in and around his native villages, sleek and whipcord strong. He prefers to work at range, utilizing a large crossbow as his weapon of choice.
In personality, Kostya leans towards the stoic, although a cruel streak in him leads to humor at other people's expenses. He traditionally carries around a small flagon of alcohol, acquired through whatever means necessary. He lacks true compassion, and cannot process empathy in any significant amount, leading him to take advantage of lesser folk-- by manipulation or force-- to get what he wants.

Ah, but she knew exactly who Yuki was. She knew who she held in her hands, clutching ferociously in what looked like an attempt to pop his head off. She came closer, meeting him face to face with an inch between them. And when she smiled, those pearly whites were in full view, looking ready to bite.
"Yes." She hissed out. "Please beg, Yuki." She sounded like she was enjoying it. "Beg for your life. I might let you go."
But she wouldn't.
Someone else was striking him, but she refused to let go, almost going so far as to protect him in her arms. This was her toy, Kostya. Go find your own.
"You could call it that." She growled out, still being protective of her prey. She held Yuki in her claws like a mouse, loathe to kill it too soon before she'd had her fun. "And you? Have you found something new to believe in?"
Aymet was slow, and whether it was the fact that his armor probably outweighed him several times, or the rampant blood loss from the courtyard battle, he had only just dragged himself to the far side of the room. "IN THE NAME OF THE GREAT K-"
Just in time to see everyone was standing around talking to thin air.
"Uh," he began, still raising his sword with absolutely no clue what was going on here. He had fully intended to defend the noble knight Morgan as he had in the courtyard, but... well...
He didn't even know what the knight's code had to say about this.

Kostya laughed, ugliness welling up. "Oh, no. I did not believe in any gods to begin with, so I have not swapped one out for another. But I know power when I see it, and how to align myself to get it."
He turned to look at Aymet, blinking languidly at him. It felt like it had been days since he'd last seen the other knight. "The hour of battle is upon us, Aymet. There are choices to be made, between the weak and the strong."

Yuki could hear his own voice mocking him, degrading him, laughing at him.
His stance wavered, he nearly lost his footing, dizzy and disoriented the longer he couldn't draw in a deep breath. He opened his eyes, glassy and half-lidded, to see Riley looking at him with such a sadistic smile... Like she wanted to see her task finished.
He didn't want to die. Especially not like this.
His mouth opened, a rasp of breath, he seemed about to speak again.
And his eyes suddenly snapped open wide, a strangled cry sounding in his throat as a white hot pain radiated from his shoulder. Kostya's arrow protruded from just below the joint of his shoulder. Bone, sinew cartilage had been the only thing to save him from an arrow piercing his ribs and possibly further.
His left arm fell limp, and he struggled to gasp, darkness closing in around his vision and panic swiftly taking hold. He actually tried to fight back at last, lurching forward and trying to take Riley to the ground. Even if he didn't succeed in bringing her down with him, the shift of his weight and the way his head was swimming was going to send him there either way.

Yuki's pain gave him strength, and she was brought down to the ground, pinned and thrashing. She paused when she heard Aymet's voice, and her expression turned dark, and dangerous. The thrashing stopped.
Everything stopped.
"Let me go, pet." Riley's voice was suddenly a soothing lullaby, softly cooing up to Yuki as he pinned her down. She reached out to touch his cheek, cupping it with one hand. "I won't hurt you anymore."
And she wouldn't. Her nails longed to wrap around another neck, now. The man who'd actually tried to hit on her was standing right there, and she was ready to hit back.
Hard.

As soon as the grasp around his neck was gone, Yuki pulled desperately for breath. The tightness of his throat made him choke, coughing and wheezing for several long seconds. It was like he didn't even realize that another person was under him, not until he felt her touch on his cheek.
The voice she spoke to him with lacked the hateful bite, but it was still so much unlike her that he nearly made him sob. What was happening?
"St-stop..." He said softly in a weak voice.
Aside from pushing himself up with his right arm, enough to permit her breath despite the second before when she denied it of him, he continued to pin her.
"Don't... Don't do this."

He wasn't moving. Her hand clenched for one single second with hateful consideration, but she reined it back. After all, the way he suffered was beautiful, and it was hard to resist.
"Don't do what?" She whispered, using her arms to push herself up closer to him. "I told you I wouldn't hurt you anymore. It was a momentary lapse in judgement. Isn't this better?" Her face loomed dangerously just below his. "We can be friends again. Isn't that what you want, Yuki? Or is it something else? Is it because you wanted - "
Her eyes flickered to the side, glaring with black heat at the man standing nearby. "More?"

Yuki shifted awkwardly when Riley rose up closer, grimacing at the pain that resulted from it. He clenched his teeth, gaze flicking to the arrow shaft that he could so clearly see in his peripheral vision before looking back to her.
"This isn't you," his voice might have been weak, but there was no hesitation in the statement. Something was wrong. It was Morgan's doing, somehow, or that strange mirror... He'd think it all an illusion if his pain didn't loudly tell him otherwise.
"I won't let you hurt them." Yuki said, refusing to rise to the bait of her questions. "I don't know what's happened, but... Please think. You aren't cruel, Riley."

"That's where you're wrong." She said each word playfully, punctuating them with a tap on his nose for each one. "You haven't known me long, pet. All of our memories were destroyed. It is, perhaps, the greatest mystery of our short lives to find out exactly who we are. And I've found it. The woman you remember, that weak little frail thing, is lost forever in the mirror. But don't mourn her, because you have me. And I promise, I can take much better care of you."
This time, she used his shoulder's injury to shove him off of her, finally rolling to her feet. The man in black had been waiting, but her mind was fickle, and she no longer wanted to sink her nails into his skin. She had a better idea.
"You won't let me hurt them." Riley muttered, waving her hand idly at the knights that still fought Morgan. "Then, by all means. Try and stop me."
She turned to run, headed for a second grouping of knights, all of which had no idea what was coming for them.
He could only stare in disbelief. As this imitation; this opposite of Riley spoke. Lost memories or not, Yuki was adamant that this was all wrong. Lies. Their sacrifice hadn't been their literal selves. What Riley he had seen was true...
The not-Riley solidified it herself, at mention of the mirror. While he couldn't yet grasp the concept of it all clearly, he knew he had to get to that mirror. Whatever magic had let this thing out, and taken the real Riley in...
If she was lost, he would find a way to guide her back to where she needed to be.
Yuki had looked toward the very thing, taking his attention foolishly away. Pain brought him back, causing him to cry out and clutch at his upper arm. He landed on his right side and laid there. Gritting his teeth and breathing heavily through his nose, he reached up and grabbed hold of the arrow shaft closest to his body and swiftly pulled. He felt, more than heard, something snap. The head was still buried, head broad to prevent just what he'd attempted. He threw aside the broken remains that had actually come out.
As he stood, for a moment he thought to go after her.
In a quick, second thought, Yuki rushed toward the mirror.
