Once out of the labyrinth, Johan once again approached the summit. And there, as before, was a strangely ornate piece of armor. However, as he reached for it, a terrible, gut-roiling pain gripped him.

Once he'd had a chance to recover from the bout of dysentery, and had the remaining arrows pulled and treated, he went straight back down to the stables. Thankfully, Fee didn't seem to have taken any lasting damage from the bees.

For whatever reason, Fee decided to leave him in the labyrinth this time. A delayed reaction from seeing the spider again, Johan pondered as he picked himself up. He really couldn't decipher her motives for just randomly fleeing at times.

And finally he was here once again! Johan did due diligence to search for the King. To no avail, once again. Afterwards, he searched for the bit of armor he'd seen last time. It was still there, too!

Johan headed out with a meager pile of supplies. At this point, it was difficult to muster a feeling of outrage. He'd made it on less than these. So long as Fee stayed with him.
