Shakuntala was mildly entertained by Lloren's flourishing display. She clapped a little -- mostly out of amusement -- as she gratefully took the loaf of bread from her roommate. Chomping down into it to where her cheeks made her look like a hamster, she exchanged her glances between Farvardin and black-haired girl, wondering what kind of answer she would give as her most embarrassing moment.

The sound of the footsteps hadn't been lost on Hwan-jae and he watched in pure terror as a shadowy bald figure stalked slowly in Larisa's direction, clearly used to this sort of mischief. Santos knew how to manipulate nerves and anxiety better than any person Hwan had ever met and he hoped the blonde hadn't broken down into cardiac arrest with how close he was getting. Baldy disappeared into the shadows and from that point on, he had no idea what was happening. Was she okay? Should he double back and try to help? Or would running over there clue the teacher in on the fact there were two of them somehow?

It was pure torture. He faintly heard the sound of an angel returning to heaven and blinked. What was that?

'What the hell is she doing?' He narrowed his eyes to try and gaze into the shadows. Watchtower duty was long over as ringing the chimes at night tended to y'know, disrupt the only rest they got, but somehow a clear tone had sung out. He could hear Santos had the same confusion as the man began to yell to "Get your a** back here right NOW!" and suddenly something crashed into him hard. Wait, she'd escaped? That was great! That meant- wait, s**t, Baldy had to have heard her run-

"Fight or flight! Fight or flight!" He hissed back in a panicked tone. Truthfully, he got a sort of high off of fear and adrenaline but one look at Larisa's face told him she was not impressed with his latest suggestion. Okay fine, maybe it was a bad idea to try and take Santos in a fight. Maybe it would kick them out of the academy if they survived the beating first. Grabbing her wrist, he tried again.

"We run and pray we don't get caught before we find a place to hide-" Man, would she be able to hear him over the incredibly loud beating of his heart? He could barely hear himself talk as they ran around the backside of the buildings. The two of them made a bit of noise and it was only after they finally reached and tearfully scrambled through the back door of the kitchen that he realized they'd probably woken up a good chunk of the other teachers doing that. ******** ******** s**t-

"You're not fooling anyone, maggots, I know you're there!" It appeared he had lost sight of them and they had reached their goal without being caught but... with a swarm of sleepy teachers stepping outside to learn about the fuss, it would be a whole new game trying to get back to Tragen. Hwan-jae sheepishly looked at Larisa, knowing this was kind of his fault, and offered her an apple. Since they were in this mess too deep to get out, might as well make the most of it, right?

((Semi-hiatus from 8/1-8/5 so feel free to nab some fruit and ditch your incompetent leader if you wish, Larisa. Or if you wanna stick around and post some frantic peeking outside or something until I get back, thasscool too.))

Lloren grew still at Farvardin's question. She did not pale, no- neither did she seem disappointed. But her expression grew intense, and after an entire minute of agonizingly searching her brain for an answer, she... had no idea what to tell them. Her head tilted a whole 45 degrees to one side and she crossed her arms. "I... actually... not sure? Nothing so bad I'd keep it secret comes to mind."

She grimaced, not wanting to disappoint. Might as well tell something that embarrassed her at the time. It was a pretty funny tale, and she told it in such a way that it was clear she found it to be an entertaining memory.

"Well I guess some things do come to mind... when I was a little kid, 4 or 5 or something, I was attending a village dinner event where all the children had been shooed away from the adults to play. They had handed us all charcoal sticks to draw on the dirt with. I drew some simple stuff- you know, imaginary geometric flowers. There were these other girls who started to crowd around me, impressed by my work. Then this little boy, he started to copy my drawings for attention- but another girl announced that he was copying me. So I got up and went to see and he was indeed copying my drawings. I didn't make a big deal about it, but he got angry. I don't recall what brought this on, but he said 'I Can Do Plenty of Things You Can't!" and I took it as a challenge. What could he possibly do that I couldn't? I was a cocky child, especially to little dudes. So he says to me, 'I Can Pee Standing." and I'm like HAH, anyone could do that! So off we go stomping to the outhouses to compete our peeing skills, each in one next to the other's- he's soon done and comes out, but hears not a word from me. Minutes er, trickle by, (hehe) in deafening silence, but he does not conclude that I'd run away. He then asks me what's taking me so long. There was no way I could answer. Thing is... I had managed to wet the entire floor of the outhouse except for the seat on which I had stood, my one island in a sea of danger."

She paused and laughed at her own comparison. "I was too afraid to step in the puddle to get out- dirtying my feet like that was unthinkable to me. So, I was effectively trapped in the outhouse by my own pee, frozen in deep regret and thought, trying to figure out how I could get out of this mess. But due to my silence, the other kid grew worried and went to bring my mom. She and his own mom came to ascertain the situation and, well, desperate for some help out of there I explained- but my mother, appalled by my mess, scolded my 4 year old self and had me wet my shoes anyways. I thought it was pretty disgraceful at the time, but hey, I was just a little kid! Nothing to be ashamed of, right? Hahahaha."

She laughed heartily like there was nothing to it, unawares that this was probably a harrowing tale to many others who would blush furiously for her sake.

Farvardin listened to Lloren's tale in silence. At the end she grinned and gave a short laugh. "Not bad! I definitely wouldn't tell too many people about that one." She said. If she was closer to Lloren she would have clapped her on the back. "Well guess it's your turn to pick someone." She wondered who would be picked next and what they would have to do or tell.

Lloren returned Farvardin's grin. "That so? It's preferable to dares, at least so long as outhouses are involved, haha." She snickered, not beyond making fun of herself, and clapped her hands together in anticipation at Farvardin's cue for her to pick someone else. Who would be the next victim? She peered across the gathered trainees, pointing as she turned like a needle seeking her target. The moment the bread-eating twin came under her gaze, she lifted her finger as if firing a pistol.

"Pow! Little did you know, that bread had a price. And that is... being led on. Bummerrrr! Next!"
She redirected her attention to a sleeping long-haired guy she didn't recognize and that had been designated as Martino, courtesy of Jeong-jae. "Sleeping beauty- Choose ye the Truth, or the Dare? One snore for the former. Silence for the latter."

Shakuntala indeed did blush at Lloren's expense. It truly was an embarrassing story, but understandable considering it happened in her youth. Even she had humiliating tales from her childhood she was not too eager to confess about. Heck, just admitting she kissed a horse (that she must always stress was an accident, BY THE WALLS) took a chunk of her soul out of her.

She followed Lloren's attention to the teal-haired male who was comfortably slumbering on his bed. After challenging him to the game, Shakuntala waited expectantly, but there was neither a speck or sound from Martino. She was convinced he'd wake up any moment and make his answer known, but not a word escaped from his chapped lips. Settling herself, she expected his silence to eventual fall to the default of dare, and it seemed to do so.

"B-but what's his dare?" she asked curiously. If he wasn't awake to answer, what would it be?

The sign Alec had, had to re-read at least 6 times over in an attempt to discern had caught his attention, even if the meaning had initially caused much frustration to the red head. Once he got the gist of it, and hearing soft laughter coming from the unfamiliar dorm he decided to give it a try. Truth or dare sounded rather appealing, especially since he knew a few familiar faces he hadn't spoken with much outside training on the field, or during meal time. Deciding to venture forth into the unknown, unarmed with any real spectacular dares or truths off hand he could at least join in the fun as a cure for his boredom. Without a great deal of entertainment outside the routine of doing what one was told a chance to socialize with his fellow trainees had the short teen excited by all accounts. He'd let himself in quietly, sitting in the back and observing for part of the time. Earlier, he'd nudged and shoved at a purple haired boy who had been shy about coming telling him he should. While he didn't immediately see the trainee with glasses he'd run into, Alec at least found himself grinning suddenly. Between Tala's horse admission and Lloren's long story now was as good a time as ever to speak up.

"Wow, that’s pretty dramatic you know." Alec directed at the gathered group, a welcoming friendly smile on his face as he moved himself closer, away from the back part of the dorm (as it was likely creepy to stand in the shadows and talk). "Mind if I join in?" He plopped himself down, waving at Shakuntala, Lloren and Farvardin alike before noting new faces he didn't recognize. For Alec, this was no problem, he'd learn them. "Hi there! Not sure I know some of you folks but it’s nice to meet you I'm Alec." He introduced himself before squinting at the man who had been challenged by Lloren...Noting he seemed asleep.

"Uhh...I dare you to Stand facing another player. Each of you must reach out toward the other player and get as close as possible to the other player without touching them. The person who first touches the other must answer a penalty truth question." he raised an eyebrow throwing off his voice in his best impersonation of Martino based on what he'd heard him say in classes previous. Trying not to crack a small laugh unsure what to think of the comical antics of his fellow trainees. Regardless, even the strangers seemed nice. This was promising, making new friends was always a plus.

Shun wasn't really sure what he was getting into. He had the flier, but he didn't really try reading it. It was really by chance that he stumbled upon the group of trainees gathering here. He stared a little blankly as he arrived just in time to see Alec daring the rest.

Zinnia snickered at Lloren's story. Even if it had happened when she was little, it was still an embarrassing story. Zin was glad that Lloren could laugh with them, though. Although the game seemed to be getting more and more ridiculous, she didn't want anyone to feel embarrassed or hurt. For the time being, she was simply having fun watching and listening, though she hoped that she would be called on again so that she could play a more active role.

What did he mean 'fight or flight'!? Of course they couldn't fight! Was he insane!? Stepping quickly away from Hwan-jae with that thought, Larisa brought her hands to her chest and struggled to breathe evenly. She felt like her heart was going to pound right out of her chest and she didn't know what to do and he clearly didn't know what to do and- A hand closed around her wrist and then she was running again as her companion pulled her along. The majority of their attempted escape was a blur of the last buildings and tears, but then they were scrambling through the door and, for one shining little moment, they were safe. It wouldn't last them long at all, but she would take it while she could.

She took several deep gasps of air, finally making leeway on catching her breath, and then looked around the kitchen with a blank stare. It was like she'd stepped into a bad dream or something, nothing really seemed real. They'd made it this far to get their stupid snacks and now they were going to get caught and lose everything because she'd been so stupid. She wanted to laugh, suddenly, or cry, or climb up onto the roof and just sit there until this crazy night made sense again. She wanted something to do with her hands, something to clean maybe, but there was no time for chores in this situation.

As the blonde sorted through the experience, growing more and more hopeless with every passing thought process, Hwan-jae reached out to offer her an apple. Larisa slowly took it, trying to force a small grateful smile in return, but promptly burst full on into tears instead. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry-" Realizing she was being too loud, because she couldn't even break down correctly, she dropped into a whisper. "If I hadn't come, you'd have made it, it's all my fault. I just- I didn't think- It bounced! Why would it bounce like that!?"

Suddenly she couldn't bear to look at him, because he probably hated her now, and after peering at the apple instead for a second, she realized there was something she could do. Almost mechanically, she began to gather more fruit on the counter, carefully taking time to make sure there were tomatoes too because those had been specifically requested. It took a little searching, but here was a bag he could carry it with and if she tied it closed everything would be fine even though he would be running. Pulling one of the ribbons she'd removed earlier from her pocket, she did just that and then held the whole bundle out as an offering of her own.

"M-maybe if you try it on your own this time, I-I won't mess you up." Maybe it just wasn't possible to complete some tasks herself.

He'd been feeling pretty panicked and nervous but after seeing Larisa break down into tears blurting out apologies, Hwan-jae's protective instincts kicked in. Trying to get a word in while she rambled proved too difficult and he let her focus on packing the bag she'd found while he kept watch. It gave him a little time to come up with a plan as well as something to say to the poor girl. The blonde kept going on about how it was her fault and what a stupid idea she'd had but he knew deep down, the idea to sneak out of the already risky game room had been his and his alone. If anything, she was the real victim here! He wanted to comfort her but didn't know how very well. That had always been more of Jeong's thing.

"Hey, listen to-" She extended the pack to him and he could see her hands were trembling from the pressure, fear and embarrassment of the night's events. "Larisa, look at me. We're in this together. I'm not going anywhere without you." Her face was a little pink from the emotional flush across her features and it was sort of cute for a moment. But the sound of people moving around outside distracted him from flirting much. Getting her caught and stuck on latrine duty for a month wouldn't score any points with the girl. Her hair fell to her shoulders on one side now that she'd used one of the ties on the bag and he frowned. Did long hair get in the way if it was loose? Hwan had never grown his out to that kind of length so he wouldn't know. Loosening his bowtie, he reached to gather the golden strands in his hand and swiftly knotted the tie around it to hold it in place. With that complete, he peered out the window again. s**t, it looked like his fear was coming true.

"They can't find us. They're going towards the dorms!" It would be easy to single out who wasn't in their rooms for curfew and link that with the troublemakers roaming the grounds after dark. And since there was a lot of noise in one particular room, the staff would gravitate there first and there would be a lot of people getting in trouble unless he did something! But what could they do to signal the others to shut up and hide?

He glanced around to come up with an answer and stared at her. That was it. She'd already done it.

"You're going to hit the bell again! At least three times. Oh, don't make that face, there's no other choice!" If they could sound an obvious alarm, the people partying back in Jeong's room would be able to tell something was up and have enough time to slide under a bed or something before the teachers sniffed around. Three rings was the standard 'tuck in for curfew' signal and it would likely get the point across. It was a risky move that would likely net Larisa and him laps around the camp from dusk to dawn but only if they were caught, right?

"Don't worry, Risa, I'll be with you the whole time." He murmured quietly as they slipped outside and looked at the darkness looming behind the cabins. Slowly, they made their way back towards the bell tower, ducking and pausing in a panicked frenzy whenever the sound of footsteps and voices got too close. He felt bad for yanking her around so much but Hwan did what he had to to get them close enough for another shot at that bell. Finally it came into view and he felt around for a few good sized rocks. Handing her a couple, he let her pick out the ones she liked best while readying one to throw himself.

"If we get caught, you can blame it all on me, okay?" His heart pounded in his chest as he winked at her but he did his best to cheer her up before launching his stone at the bell and letting it ring loud and clear. Depending on what the teachers did, they could stop at three or sound the continuous alarm that would summon everyone outside and confuse the staff who had come from what building though he would prefer not to use that option.

((Good luck hiding, party goers! As a warning I plan to send Santos into Tragen in my next post to sniff around so pick a fun spot to squeeze into somewhere. Nothing like almost getting caught to spice up the game. >: D ))

"Thanks." Jeong-jae accepted Lloren's offer of bread before watching her colorful retelling of an embarrassing tale. It was a humiliating tale for a child but nothing so terrible they couldn't laugh at it! Joining in the chorus of laughter, he watched the girls all get along while wondering if Martino would wake up from all the noise. He didn't, despite being challenged by Lloren next, and soon a new challenger entered the room. He didn't quite understand the dare Alec threw out and misunderstood if this was something everyone was participating in or just Martino and Lloren. After all how could a sleeping man who'd missed the directions take part?

"Here goes!" Getting up to walk towards the others, he made his way towards the girls figuring this would be a great opportunity to flirt a little. Assessing his options, he wasn't sure who would be the most comfortable doing this and almost called Shakuntala out just to make her flush but she was nestled pretty nicely in with the rest and seemed like she'd refuse. Going for the girl still semi-in the spotlight, he turned to face Lloren and begin. Just as he stepped into her personal bubble the sound of a bell rang out. Huh?

"What was that?" Pausing, he looked towards the window in confusion, as if the answer would just magically fly in and tell them. Hadn't they already sounded the lights out bell? This wasn't right... Crap, Hwan was out there!

"Hide! They must've gotten caught!" His brother had a tendency to do ridiculously risky things when he wasn't around to help him so Jeong-jae instantly suspected he'd messed up. Both twins liked trying crazy shortcuts and such but there was a time and place and during the after hours game was not it! Ugh why hadn't he gone with him? Grabbing Lloren's hand, since she was nearest him now, he dragged her to his bed and shoved her under the covers. Climbing in with her, he tried to scoot close so they could pretend to look like just one person, if one of the Baldy's poked their head in.

"Sorry! Couldn't be helped." He whispered, though he didn't mind the position. Lloren wasn't dressed especially feminine so she'd been a bit under his radar during the game but now that he was up close he could feel something and found it quite nice!

((Realized I had the chance to hit up both parts of the Galloren couple and couldn't resist! XP Also if people don't want to continue this thread, let us know! You can have your character slip out into the hall and run away if you want to exit them!))

((OMIGUH.... rofl ))

Lloren met Alec's intervention with a puff of laughter and shook her head. At first she'd been confused, but it soon became clear what the misunderstanding was. "Dude, I'm the one who's supposed to dare him, not the other way around!" She explained in an amused tone, far from condemning. "Creative tho, adding some spice to the rules. I'll give you that." Lloren grinned, fully prepared to break said rules, herself. She scooted towards Tala, planning to spare them both by 'accidentally' touching her arm or something before either of them got uncomfortable. "Might as wel- oop!"

Her action was interrupted before it could begin by Jeong-jae, who'd gotten into her personal space remarkably fast- not having been prepared for that, Lloren's reflexes kicked in and she swerved out of his way as if they'd been about to bump into each other. She slumped and laughed at her failure. "Aw dang man, I goofed up! You took me by surprise."

Which is when the alarm conveniently sounded. Wozzat now? She straightened up at the twin's announcement and realized that she had to get out of here immediately. If they found her in the wrong dorm with several loaves of contraband bread in her pyjamas to boot, it wouldn't end well. She glanced up at the ceiling, looking for a shadowy spot among beams to make the most of the darkness. Not too difficult to find somewhere to climb up when the room wasn't particularly tall, either.

Except Jeong-jae grabbed her hand and ran even as she was trying to shake it free. She was willing to follow suit regardless, of course- It was his dorm, after all. He was probably leading her to a better hiding spot. "Where do you have in mind- wait, really!?" Moments later, they were under his covers and practically spooning whilst Lloren had both hands on her paled face in a double facepalm, groaning in pure dismay. The guy probably had good intentions, but the urge to scream and suplex him was rising by each moment and they were getting WAY too familiar with each other's shapes. Lloren usually made a point of hiding her own by wearing loose clothing; indeed, staying under a certain kind of radar was entirely part of her intent. Furthermore, she had an... affliction. To say the least, Jeong-jae simply couldn't have picked a pruder person to pull under the covers with him.

"Screw this," she growled and sprang out of bed, unlatched the window, and leapt from their sill into a mad dash back to Lusche all in the span of three seconds, pale as a ghost.

Will she make it back?! O3O

4- Yep. They don't see her at all yo.

Yesenia's eyes widened as Jeong-jae told everyone to hide. Grabbing Amalia by the wrist, she pulled her out of the room. "Come on, Malia," She whispered conspiratorially. "I got a plan!"

Amalia got a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach. Yesenia's plans usually resulted in them getting into even more trouble than they already were. But if the teachers were coming, she had little choice but to go along with it. The grey haired girl led her to a different room, full of bunks. Some of them were occupied, and one of the trainees blearily looked up at the two as they entered. Yesenia grinned and waved her off, as if to say to just go with it. Apparently, the trainee understood, as she laid her head back down.

Amalia found herself being lead to an unoccupied bed before being shoved unceremoniously onto it. "What are you-?" "Shhhh!" Then Yesenia was on top of her, and as the blanket covered them both, darkness overtook her vision. She felt the other girl's breath on her neck, and she shook her head slightly. "This has got to be your stupidest plan yet. This will never work - who would be stupid enough to fall for it, let alone try it?" She whispered furiously at Yesenia, but all she received in response was another shush.

Zin's hands flew to her mouth when Jeong-jae shouted the order to hide. She hadn't expected the game to get out of hand like that! She couldn't get caught out of bed past curfew-- who knew what would happen! They would definitely be punished, and she didn't want to do laps or get stuck cleaning dishes-- or worse. Her eyes darted around the room, searching for a good place, when they landed on her roommate, Farvardin.

Of course-- they lived in Tragen, so their best and quickest hiding place was their own room. She rushed forward and grabbed Farvardin by the hand. "Quick-- let's run back to our room," she said in a rushed whisper. "They won't know we ever left, we just need to be back in bed before they start checking rooms!"

With that, she burst out of the room, trusting that Farvardin was hot on her heels. She dashed down the dark hallway, hoping that she would make it into the room without running into security patrolling the halls. As she turned a corner, she gasped as a lantern shined directly into her eyes. She sprinted forward, dashed around another corner, and fumbled with her hands against the wall until her fingers grasped the cold, hard door handle. She turned it and flung herself into her room, heart beating wildly in fear and excitement.
