"I... wha...... Ah..." she stutters, torn between her duty to keep him alive and the sudden urge to see blood, her hand almost at her katana.

'Patience.. patience... Or well, as long as I don't kill him, ne?' she thinks, a murderous aura hanging around her now, just about ready to dispose of him, mission be damned.

Kiwa's intervention is timely, and Nanami gives a small sigh, but then has to snort softly at the client's air-headed attitude right after.

'I don't get paid nearly enough to deal with this sh... stuff. Change of tactics then...' she thinks to herself, still acutely feeling the client's inappropriate groping.

..If she was going to play along with him, then she'd make sure to at least get what she deserved for this. Better rooms, better sake... ah, it'd been a while since she'd had some in excellent quality. Maybe some 'allowance' apart from the mission if she was lucky too..

From an apparently abandonned carriage on the side of the road four bandits jump out and start slowly surrounding the group.

Well what have we here? A money bag escorted by one tiny woman and two children? Throwing the money at us would have been more of a challenge!

Kokoyashi had even better quality sake than she'd thought, and that merchant ended up coughing up more money than she'd intended. The rooms and beds were glorious, that's all she was going to say. .....Ok, so she wasn't quite that legal yet in civilian terms, but the forehead protector was more than enough to prove she was able to make her own decisions on alcohol. Not like she was idiotic enough to let the client know, at the least, although now that she'd gotten her share of benefits she wouldn't mind it too much if he realized the truth now. Grinning as she pats her two bottles of Kokoyashi's best sake hanging at her hip she'd set away yesterday, Nanami breezes by next to the client, only to have some no-name thieves stop them.

The village had been rather uneventful for Kiwa, a cup of instant noodles and a room that was barely qualified to be called a shack. Meanwhile the older female got to live the high life for a night.

Needless to say her temperament was slightly off from the peachy keen motherly acting child that she was and these bandits seemed like a good excuse to burn off some steam.

Kiwa knew better than to block a blade with her bare hands, she looked at the group, finding her target in the man with folding sword and she took point.

Kiwa jumped into the air with a kick aimed at the mans face, followed by a punch aimed at the groin.

The Orange haired bandit pulled her kusarigama from her belt and threw it at fudou, then she swooped in, running in for a follow up to grapple the kid and remove the cover from Mr Moneybags.
