Ah...good move Seven. Proto smirked slightly as the other insisted on using his tools. Good. He wouldn't get an earful about the tools being out of place (actually he might still get one for touching them in the first place), -and- the Citizen further proved he was a hard worker.
Excellent.
"I can do that." Proto held the door, waiting for the other to get the screws put in. Once they were done he'd go over them to be sure they were in tight.
But really he was nearing his limit of being...social...for one day. It was likely he wouldn't hang around much longer.

Seven worked quickly. Once he was done he held out the screwdriver for the other male, "Here." He stepped back as he spoke further, "Once your done. Feel free to leave, but just know this. Your welcome to crash here if you need it. If you feel like coming back, pick one of the other rooms to start setting up to your liking. You helped out more than someone else could...its my way of showing Thanks."Seven stepped back a little, his arms crossed with a neutral look on his face. It was a plain and simple offer to the General. If he didn't want to...he didn't have to.

He had taken the screwdriver, kneeling to go over the bottom screws first and work his way up as Seven had. The male was content to work in silence. At least until Seven made his offer...then Proto actually paused for a moment before shaking off his surprise and finishing up what he was doing.
That...was the dumbest idea ever. Wasn't it? Invite one of the General's of Wily's army to just...crash at your place? What in the HELL was this citizen thinking?!
Yet...despite the idea being totally insane, Proto was actually somewhat grateful. No, the chances of him taking up the offer weren't above marginally slim, but the fact someone offered at all was not something to just glaze over. The red bot was an extremely grateful individual, when someone bothered to actually do something for him. It was just so few and far between in his life.
"....Thank you, for the offer, but I will decline." The Tower was his home when he felt like being there. Proto desperately wished to be a loner, but circumstances did not always allow for that. Being in a small (compared to the Tower) house with other Audio did not sit well with him. No...he'd take the safety of the Tower any day, even if it meant being in close proximity with Bass.
Door fixed, Proto handed the screwdriver back to it's owner before moving to retrieve Wily's tools. Yep...definitely time to go.

Seven inclined his head in respect as he turned his back on the General, he paused for a moment. Then smiling to himself he spoke, "To each his own. Don't go blowing up the Rebellion unless they're asking for it. See you around General." Seven walked further into his home as he kept an ear out for the General's departure.

Proto just shook his head. Don't go blowing up the Rebellion. Right. They were -usually- asking for it in his opinion. But right now he needed to head back to the Tower. No...he wouldn't go hunting for rebels tonight.
Tools gathered, Proto gave the other a final glance before heading out without another word. He had done his work here, and now maybe he could stop thinking about the Citizen who had actually stopped to thank him.
...Maybe.
Whatever. He was going home and getting some rest. In his own damn room.
