"The Charmer" Current Location: Nuvema Lab | Accompanied by: Everyone | Mood: Focused | ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬  Seeing Sapphire stand by the doorway, ready to go outside, had made the crimson-eyed boy want to join her. In his opinion, the player hadn't really shown the kind of enthusiasm he had expected to see, something he figured playing the role of their characters could possibly fix. This had been when he had asked her several questions about acting weird, which brought a confused stare from the other girl, who blinked several times. He watched her adjust her crooked bandana, an outfit he knew his character had made for her with his superior sewing skills, before she had gone ahead and replied to his concerns.
The girl had actually played along with what he had been doing, stating that she was fine, and that the type of Pokerus Prof.Juniper had warned about, would not have been a problem. His concern for her was questioned, and he had answered back with what he had actually felt about the situation going on here, with the other six or so protagonists in the room. "Well you know it's going to be hard hanging out with all of our seniors around. I just want to make sure you can keep up with everything." he had said with a condescending smile, which would have normally served as a challenge for her to prove him wrong.
He had actually enjoyed their character's petty bets and bickering, feeling that one actually balanced the other out into motivating them with their goals. Plus, it would be fun if he actually could be close enough to this player to talk about Sapphire's confession back on Mirage Island. The writers of the adventures manga never did give that part of the character's lives closure, but numerous fanfiction had. He would have thought more about it, but by the time Sapphire replied to him, those thoughts were pushed aside for something he and his character shared, photography. He took off his bag after opening the door to the lab.
The crimson-eyed boy had been quick to pull out his photography supplies, which was a camera similar to the one he had on the outside world, in not only quality, but the fact that it had a strap for him to place around his neck. There was also a folded tripod inside of the bag as well, but he had left it alone for now. Ruby wanted to take a quick photo with Sapphire, and of anyone else that really asked or came into view. He was sure the girl had knew this already, but he had stated the reason for doing this anyway. "You know I'm going to need new pictures for my scrapbook. Besides, we'll look fabulous with the lab in the background." xxxxxx• • • Sapphire watched as Ruby smirked at her in a way that made her eye twitch. Along with his comment about falling behind the 'seniors' of the group. She looked around the room at the other participants with her sharp, bright blue gaze, mentally sizing them up based on their demeanor before looking back to Ruby indignantly. She had wanted to point out that since they had all started out at the same level and place, they were all on even ground and there would be no way she'd be one upped, but the red eyed boy was already opening the doors to the lab to go outside.
She followed him, mostly because she had already been heading that way, but also because she felt it necessary to make a point. Sapphire was distracted by her thoughts, though, as Ruby pulled out a camera and commented on taking pictures for his scrapbook. Her eyebrows came together as she gave him an disbelieving look. Fabulous, really?
Fabulous, really? she echoed the thought out loud, hand going to her collar bone where, in real life, she would have been able to fiddle with a piercing as she usually did when she was making conversation that wasn't necessarily important. Instead, though, she found smooth skin and thus ended up only itching her collar bone, And I'm the one who's going to fall behind the others? She looked at his camera, vaguely wondering how accurate this game was to even have such supplies at ready. It was like they hadn't left the real world at all.

The trainer nodded a greeting at the NPC before she began her long explanation of things to come. In truth she felt her excitement growing, until Juniper asked that they…stick together. She looked away feeling herself grimace. Really? REALLY?! Stay together everyone! From the airport, to the hotel, to now this?! Couldn’t Emir enjoy himself without anyone else’s company? His pokemon would be damn well enough. “Yay…” he muttered glancing behind the Professor to his actual goal. “Thank you Professor, for your concern.” The girl stated before moving herself to pick up her items and shove them in her bag.
The only thing she really kept out was her pokeball which she could not be happier to get. Crossing his fingers with one hand, he hit the spherical device’s button twice before tossing it a few steps before her and catching it as it returned. In a flash of light she waited before grinning with enthusiasm as she saw a little blue pokemon appear. Something inside himself made him squeal happily before scooping up the little Oshawott, much to the confused water type’s discontent. “Yes yes yes!” she cheered making her way back to the exit ready to get a move on with her pokemon before any of the protagonists that weren’t here made their appearance as NPCs. She really didn’t need that amount of dialogue right now. The Oshawott squirmed momentarily still not exactly happy with being carried after being stuck so long in his pokeball. The protagonist set him down for a moment, deciding to have a little chat with him first. “It’s great to meet you, mind if I call you Sen?” the girl began, crouching down to get as level with the water type as possible. She stared eagerly as the Oahawott stretched on the ground and made a face. Looking up and down, he seemed ot be sizing up his trainer and after a narrowing of the eyes he finally let out a sound. Something like a cheer? Emir didn’t really care. “Sen it is then! I’m Whiteley you’re trainer, or Emir I don’t really care at this point.” The brunette stated before scratching the pokemon’s head gently.
Ah yes, this was going superbly. Sen would make an excellent partner. He seemed ready to get a move on anyway. “Right-o. We’re outta here.” Emir said to his starter, already set on not having to stick in a group with the others. “I want to see what you’re made of out there, Sen.” He added before turning to the exit and moving past Ruby and Sapphire. Sen looked back at the group of kids inside and then at the red and blue pair outside before letting out a curious sound. “Ignore them, Sen. I’m not going to bother to wait for slackers.” He stated, body anxious to get a move on. He called his pokemon to attention before pointing at the exit of the town. As the water type confirmed he understood, the trainer began jogging lightly in said direction, slowing down to his pokemon’s speed. Sen wasn’t particularly fast but he didn’t look exhausted. At least that was a plus. Instead of really worrying about whatever dark virus plot existed, Emir was determined to focus on his team. He couldn’t wait to catch all the pokemon he’d always wanted to hold. Pokemon Amie was great and all but THIS, this is what he’d been dreaming of for a lifetime.

"The Charmer" Current Location: Heading towards first route | Accompanied by: Will be White | Mood: Worried | ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ With his smile and comment, what he got from Sapphire was an eye twitch, and a glance around the room. This reaction was what he had wanted to see from her, and he pushed it even further by opening the doors to the lab outside. Ruby hadn't doubted Sapphire had followed him for the same two reasons she actually did, and simply took out the camera from his pack. After commenting his reason, he turned back to her, seeing the girl give him a disbelieving look, along with his comment about being fabulous. He didn't actually find this whole thing strange at all, mostly because this was an enjoyable experience.
"Yeah, I think fabulous sounds better than beautiful." It seemed more like a rhetorical question, the way she had said it, but he wanted to answer his personal opinion on the matter anyway. When he had heard her question about whether or not she was the only one who was going to fall behind, he raised an eyebrow at her in the same disbelief she had shown him about his "Fabulous" comment, before actually answering her. "Of course not, you're the conqueror. Now cheer up, can't have my rival doubting herself." he had said, before seeing White walk out the lab.
The girl had an Oshawott out with her, not that he found it odd, since she never had a specific Pokemon in the manga. No, he was actually going to ask her to hold the camera, before he had heard the comment about them being slackers. His mind had started to nag at him, before he had started twisting the brown-haired girl's words, to the point where he had imagined see said that about his special skills. That had subsided the off-track he always felt, when it came to other thoughts that could be dealt with later. Since the other girl was gone, and seemed real hyped into going to the next route, that meant catching up.
He stood next to Sapphire, putting a hand on her shoulder, while the other held the camera out. "Now, say cheese!" He took the pic, shortly afterwards, and while he would have wanted to do one with their Pokemon out as well, he couldn't let White go out to Route 1 alone. He wasn't sure exactly just how dangerous this pokevirus was, but if it was an equal threat to what their characters faced in the manga, then this matter would need to be taken care of seriously. Wearing the camera around his neck, Ruby had momentarily broke out of character to talk to the player, who represented Sapphire in this world.
"Sorry about this whole in character stuff. You have no idea how awesome this experience has been for me, so you'll have to excuse me if we get into petty arguments our character would have." he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly while he said this, showing he was being genuine about being out of character, before saying one last thing. "My name's Luke Richards on the outside by the way. Really hope we can actually be rivals, since I kinda doubt GameFreak added contests in this fifth gen game base." and with that, he had gotten into character again, as if he never did.
"Hey Saph, I'm going after White to keep her company. Don't know how serious this threat really is, but it sounds like she might get her clothes dirty." That superficial reason was enough to have the boy sprinting through the dirt paths in town, made easy by the Devon Corporation shoes he wore, which released a pressure of air behind him. If Sapphire wanted to join, it should have been obvious from his out of character statement, that he wouldn't actually mind if she did. This was an MMO after all, which was an enough reason to stick together.

Sapphire rolled her eyes at his beautiful vs. fabulous comment, and then his statement towards her mood once more. She may have made a reply if the girl playing White hadn't walked out with an Oshawott, looking back at them after passing and calling them slackers. If Ruby's comment about falling behind had irritated her, the brown haired girl's straight up irked her. She had never in her life been called lazy or anything of the sort. A small scowl presented itself on her lips before she was brought back by Ruby laying a hand on her shoulder and holding a camera out in front of them. Her eyes went wide as her sloppily tied bandana slipped over one eye as soon as he snapped the photo, which she hurried to fix as he continued on.
It caught Sapphire by surprise when he actually acted sheepish, rubbing the back of his neck before apologizing about his in game character. She only offered a small smile and nodded, glad he was having fun in his own unique way. Then he gave her his real name, but she didn't bother giving hers. Soon after this break in character, he went back to being Ruby, talking about aesthetics and running off after White.
Sapphire shook her head as she fixed her bandana once more, looking sloppier d more crooked than the last time she tied it on. Afterwards, she released her new Pokémon, glad to see the little bird for the first time. The torchic was looking up at her the moment he was on sold ground, squinting its eyes to make contact with hers. She bent down immediately, squinting back at the fire type. Neither broke eye contact, and she had to admire the serious attitude the little pokemon obviously had.
We are going to get along just fine. She told him as she pat his head, I'll refer to you as Helium. Sapphire said as she stood away from the warm creature with a nod. The Pokémon seemed to ponder over this for a moment before huffing slightly. The trainer had no idea what that meant, but she was amazed at being able to communicate like this. To a Pokémon. Her own Pokémon. Warmth bubbled up inside of her chest as she felt the oncoming excitement of being able to literally feel and talk to a Pokémon. She wanted so badly for this to actually be real. The most she could do at the moment, though, was immerse herself in the game and act a if it were so.
With that in mind she snapped her fingers and began walking in the direction the other two had gone. The sound of the snap brought the Pokémon to attention and it immediately followed at her heels, as Sapphire had hoped it would. She was surprised at how well behaved the starter as, but was glad she didn't have reason for complaint.

He said with a slight chuckle as he let Bulbasaur out of its pokeball. Red smiled and knelt down in front of the pokemon, scratching its head and then shaking its vine as it came close to greet him. "Hey buddy, I guess we'll be working together for a little while huh? Well I'm Red, uhm...I think I'll call you Bulba...is that alright with you?" He asked and smiled as he saw the cheer erupt from the little bud pokemon. "Good, oh, and thats Yellow." ⊰ϓellow⊱xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ Yellow watched in silence as Red released his pokemon, a Bulbasaur. She supposed she should have seen that coming as far as which pokemon he would receive, but what surprised her is how real it looked. The game certainly showed no line between fantasy and reality so far. "It's nice to meet you." She greeted the grass type with a smile. Deciding she aught to get aquainted with her own pokemon, she released it from it's ball, watching as the bright light faded to reveal a Pikachu. "Hello Chuu!" She knelt down to the mouse Pokemon's level as she greeted it, using a nickname she had already decided on. Coming up with a nickname wasn't too hard. It was the one she had named her first Pikachu in a pokemon game. The Pikachu's pointy ears perked up at the name and responded happily, making Yellow smile. "My name is Yellow, it's very nice to meet you! And this is Red and Bulba." She introduced. Chuu looked at the pair curiously for a few moments before giving out a happy cry in greeting.
Afterwards, Yellow picked the mouse pokemon up, then glanced around the room before facing Red again. "I think some people have started to go missing.." She thought aloud. At least three people were missing, which she guessed were outside somewhere. A small feeling of panic stuck her thinking about be left behind, but the feeling died as quick as it came. At least she wouldn't be totally alone, Red and his pokemon were still with her, as well as her own now. ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ↣Where am I? Nuvema Town, Lab ↣With? Platinum couldn't help but smile at Diamond and then she tilted her head as she thought about Pearl. "I really do hope Pearl is here, then it would be all three of us together." The black haired trainer said before looking at every single person who else was there. She could not believe that she could actually play this with some of the character from the first generation back when she was just a little tyke. But she couldn't get googly eyes right now the girl had to focus. Platinum knew that if she didn't focus during this game, she would certainly fall behind everyone else who had started first.
When the grey eyed girl heard a woman's voice, Platinum turns around and stares at what she thought was the professor of this region. As she listened to what Professor Juniper said about what was happening to the Pokemon and of what all the trainers that were in the laboratory were selected to do this event. Hearing the Professor say that the they could take a PokeDex and the Pokeball that had their name beside it. Smiling, the black haired girl goes over to the Pokeball's and sees her name. Taking the Pokeball and walking a bit away from everyone else, Platinum opens the ball and smiles once she sees which Pokemon she got, but she could have guess which one she was getting. "Pip." Was all the Piplup said to Platinum. Smiling at her new partner, Platinum couldn't help but kneel down and put her hand out at her Pokemon and pets it head. "Hi there Piplup, its nice to finally meet you." The girl said before brushing back a piece of her black hair out of her face before speaking once again. "Do you think I could call you Ren?" Platinum asks softly as her Pokemon just tilts her head before speaking to her trainer. "Piplup." Smiling once more the girl stood and opened her arms for her Pokemon to jump into, which Ren gladly did. Then turning to look at her friend Diamond she waited to see if he was coming at all and was going to the first route with her or they were going to wait for Pearl to show up.

 [ DIAMOND ] Diamond hung around for a second more, just watching everyone else. The R/S duo had already left the Lab, but Diamond presumed they wouldn't go very far on their own. He waited for Crystal to get fetch her own Pokemon and 'Dex before smiling and nodding towards the door. He wanted to see which Pokemon Professor Rowan sent over for him, and in case Crystal wanted to chat up Yellow more, he might as well let her know where he'd be. He did the same to Platinum before opening the doors back into the hot summer weather that he missed back in the real world.
Without a second thought, he immediately tossed his single Pokeball up into the air. A second later it burst open in a flash of white light, which formed on the ground in front of him in the shape of a small tortoise with a single sapling growing out the top of his head. Diamond let the image of a real life Pokemon standing before him. The sight was incredible to say the least, especially when the little Turtwig turned around and looked at Diamond before trotting over. Diamond dropped to his knees and slowly reached out his hand, which Turtwig sniffed before nuzzling, accepting Diamond as his. Diamond couldn't get the smile off his face as he held up his Pokedex, just to test it out. Immediately Turtwig's form and stats came up on screen along with a mechanical voice.
"TURTWIG: Made from soil, the shell on its back hardens when it drinks water. This allows Turtwig to undergo photosynthesis with its body, making oxygen."
Tutrwig cried happily hearing its name and Diamond patted its head. "You're funny. I don't normally do this, but maybe we should think of a name for you?" Turtwig chirped again in agreement, sitting down in front of Diamond. He thought for a moment. Rooter? Sapper? Quake? Forrest? He was thinking ahead to when he was a Torterra. What name would suit him best in that form? Then he remembered the D/P/P manga that he read. "How about just Tru?" Turtwig thought for a moment and smiled, hopping into his lap. Diamond chuckled and nodded. "Tru it is, then." He recalled Tru to his Pokeball before looking up to see Platinum waiting for him. He nodded before putting the Poke ball in his bag and getting up, checking for Crystal. He figured the grass pokemon would prefer walking so he left it on the ground where it waited patiently. Red looked around one last time, seeing a few of them had cleared out. "...Hm...we should probably get moving then huh? I wonder where Green and Blue are..." So far, there seemed to be at least one protagonist from every generation, making the game more interesting in her opinion. But there were still a few missing. She wondered if they all had equal chances of catching pokemon from different regions as well while they were adventuring. The possibilities were endless. But there were still a few missing. Her eyes caught sight of Diamond leaving, then noticed Red had started to move towards the exit as well."Maybe they'll show up somewhere down the road." Thoughts: So...I guess this is where it really starts....
Mood: excited, nervousThis game... endAfter most everyone had left with their pokemon, Diana went up and gather the items assigned to her. A bright smile painted her face as she saw she had in fact gotten Chikorita. She couldn't wait to formally meet the pokemon, but she wasn't sure she really wanted to do so in the lab. "I guess this answers the question of where we'd get the map and such." She said, partially to herself, partially to Chris if he was close by.
Looking at the pokedex, she couldn't help but note that it looked nothing like what she remembered a pokedex to look like. It had to be a newer gen dex she supposed. Looking up as she put away her things, her pokeball still in hand, she tried to see if Chris had already left or not, certainly hoping he hadn't, though she'd had trouble keeping track of the comings and goings of those around her, not used to focusing on things like that as much.Is exactly what I needed~!

[ DIAMOND ] Diamond checked for Crystal, but didn't see her yet. Looking back through the doors of the Lab he saw her looking for someone as well. Him, maybe? He grinned as the door opened and he gestured her over. "Everyone's heading off. We'd better move quick if we're gonna catch up, what do you say?"
