Dumpling-San
I have decided that Gavin and Scott will be buddies .w.

Gavin shrugged. "Well then, I'll take 'interesting' as a compliment." She said, as Gwen sat down on the other side of Scott. "Yeah, goin' pretty well here. Nice to meet you, Scott." He said, shaking his hand then releasing his grip. "I take it you were trying to start a conversation? Sorry about her. She's a bit rude at first, but she'll warm up to you eventually. That is, if you want her to." He said, leaning back in his chair.

Paranormal Teddy
That's okay with me. :3

Scott smiled peacefully. "Thanks for understanding." His expression remained placid until he began talking to Gwen. Then, his expression became somewhat puzzled and confused. "I guess what you're saying makes sense, but I don't want to judge her just yet. She's really nice." He started twiddling his thumbs nervously. "Are you two brother and sister?" Scott noticed how alike they both were, physically and personality-wise. He wondered if they were twins or at least related to each other.

"I wouldn't call her nice, exactly... but she can be pleasant when she wants to." Gwen said, laughing slightly. "Hey, he didn't say I was unpleasant." Gavin said, frowning at Gwen. "No, but I did." He said. Gwen seemed to be much more laid back than Gavin.
Gwen smiled at the question. "Bingo." He said, happily. "Twins, to be exact." Gavin added.

Scott smirked and rolled his eyes. "Do you two always argue?" He chuckled to himself before responding to the twins. "You two certainly are...amusing. I don't think I've ever met anyone like the two of you. That's a good thing, don't get me wrong." Scott was afraid that Gavin might freak out again. He nervously chewed his lower lip. "Did the doctors switch up your names? I mean, Gavin said they messed up her name on the certificate. It could be that they put Gwen's original name on Gavin's certificate, or I could just be over thinking it." Scott stopped talking abruptly. He got the feeling he was rambling too much.

In their bio, it says that they'll change the story every time you ask. But I can't think of another reason for their names though, so we'll just keep it the same for now, XD

The twins looked at each other, then nodded at Scott. "Yeah, pretty much." "It's just natural. If it bothers you though, feel free to tune it out." Gwen said, careful not to say that they wouldn't argue. He knew that it would upset Gavin, and wasn't sure if Scott would hold them to it.

"Uh.. right... good thing..." Gavin replied to his next comment. "Lighten up, would you? He's trying to give you a compliment. Stop confusing 'im." Gwen said, poking his sister's forehead. She rubbed where he had poked her. "Fine. But it's fun to watch him confused." "You say that about everybody."

Gwen laughed at his question about names. "Yeah, they didn't bother checking the gender on the certificates, so we ended up with the wrong names. Parents thought it was funny, and just left it as is." Gavin laughed at this as well. "Yeah. But hey, I like my name better. Suits me." Gavin said, using Scott's words from earlier.

Paranormal Teddy
Hey, I like that version of the story, so it's better to keep it. (In my opinion anyways)

Scott held up his hands. "I never said it bothered me. I was just..." His voice trailed off and her blushed somewhat. He hated making a fool of himself. Scott was trying to change the subject. "So, Gavin takes in interest in confusing people? What other sort of interests does she have?" Scott was sort of afraid of what the answer might be, but he dragged himself into this by asking the question in the first place. He should carry through with his word. "Oh, I see...I've always hated the hospitals. I spent a lot of my childhood in one." He looked down at the ground and then back at the two. "I never said I hated your name Gavin. The words I spoke I really meant."

The other version is about the parents not bothering to check their babies' genders before naming them, XD

Gavin tilted her head. Why was he blushing? She hadn't done anything to embarrass him... on purpose anyways. "S-sorry?" She said in a questioning tone. Gwen laughed. "Congratulations, you've gotten her to apologize. My word, you two really are on a direct path to friendship." He said, somewhat jokingly.

Gavin thought for a moment about the next question. "Um... I like to..." She scratched her head, trying to think about 'interests'. "You like to go swimming." Gwen pointed out. Gavin nodded. "That's true. But I was trying to think more...." "Knives?" "Ugh, you're so unhelpful... So apparently I like confusing people, swimming, and knives. What a great person I am." She said sarcastically. Gwen laughed. "You said it, not me." "How about you Scott?"

Gwen shuddered at the word 'hospital'. "I hate hospitals..." He said, agreeing with Scott. "I don't dislike 'em, but it's not exactly a place I'd make time to go to..." Gavin said.

Paranormal Teddy
I like that version too! I'm laughing my a** off right now just thinking about it.

Scott shook his head wildly. "You two did nothing wrong! In fact, I embarrassed my own self.." Scott's voice trailed off. Although, he was somewhat proud on the inside for getting Gavin to apologize if it was such a rare event. He listened intently to the twin's argument over what Gavin liked. "Those are some very interesting hobbies if I do say so myself." He laughed a little before continuing on to his likes and hobbies. "Well, you could say I like reading, throwing things at other people, and talking." Scott didn't think he was at all interesting. He was somewhat ashamed of himself. "Trust me, I spent every freaking day of my childhood in one. I didn't leave the hospital until I was about fifteen or sixteen." Scott crossed his arms over his chest.

Ugh sorry for taking so long! I've been super busy over the past few days with Doctors appointments and the like. I swear, the holidays happen and then it's a mad scramble to get your life back on track. Lemme catch my breath, Life! *shakes fist at life*

PS: Changing my font... 3 colors is too much to work with.. XD who cares if it looks 'pretty'. As long as you can tell actions, speech, and thoughts apart. Am I right? lol.

Viktoria raised her shoulders in a slight shrug. "It is what it is I suppose. Where I am from, if you leave against orders it's more or less viewed as sacrilege."

The sound of the PA system caused her to flinch slightly, but she quickly settled down to catch the announcement as well as Elia's startled reaction. Vikky giggled slightly but her giggle quickly died and her smile turned into a worried frown as the electricity cut out and the emergency lights kicked in. She had kept tabs on this realm enough to know about the technology here at least.

Heavens above please just let it be the blizzard outside and nothing more...

Vikky stood up and walked over to stand next to Elia, lightly resting a hand on the other girl's shoulder. "I think you'll find that this place is very different from your home. Technology is more advanced here, perhaps. I can assure you that voice wasn't magic, neither are the lights. The first set of lights failed, these are backups of a sort."

She hesitated momentarily before continuing. "If you trust me, I am a magic user and can better guide our way to the auditorium. Or well... I can at least try. My magic has weakened considerably as of late..."

Gavin blushed. "Oh, okay then..." She said, quickly turning to the front of the room. Gwen snickered. "Aaaand now she's embarrassed because she apologized when she didn't need to. So that's two out of three people embarrassed, which means I'm next." Gwen said happily.

Gwen looked to Gavin to comment about what Scott had said, but she was doing the same to him. "Well, that's interesting... sort of." "Hey, it's more than I could come up with." Gavin said.

The twins nodded. "Why were you in the hospital?" "Well, that's an insensitive question." "What, I'm curious." "Doesn't make it insensitive." Gavin ended, crossing her arms. Gwen sighed, and turned to Scott again. "If you don't mind me asking, why were you in the hospital?" "Better."

Zane stared at the creature and blinked slowly before straightening back and running a hand through his hair to push a column of black hair out of his face. It was a difficult process for his mind to make the mental leaps to understand how different and basic the Archon's understanding of science was. With Raze'k, it seemed he would have to start at square one and involve Zane rolling back to his knowledge of grade 9 chemistry. Fortunately it wasn't that long ago.

"So... To summarize, you're a robot with a kink for psychology and sociology? Don't answer that. If I see any titanium, I'll be sure you're the first one to get at it." He gave the Archon a reassuring nod.

The sound of the PA cut him off. He never knew the building had a sound system, but he wasn't surprised to find out it did, not was he surprised when it seemed to break down. It was only a split second after his mind registered the power going out that he realized something must have been going terribly terribly wrong. "That's no god that's talking..." Or at least, he hoped it wasn't. Faceless Nobodies aside, this was a new level of crazy in the school. Was this the work of the so called "roleplayers" he'd heard so much about? Was this a test?

"The auditorium is a room. A theatre - do you know what that means? A place with a stage and seats for an audience." He pulled out his phone and unlocked it with a few gestures on the touch screen. Like many of the others, he had intent to head to the auditorium, but he didn't want to leave the cafeteria until he was absolutely certain no one was waiting outside the double doors to jump them. Fortunately he had a couple more than a few cameras placed in various strategic locations previously that could give him all the information he needed, at least until his devices ran out of power.

"Seems safe enough to head out. Come, I'll take you to the auditorium." He gave Raze'k a wave to follow him and started his way towards the cafeteria doors.

Scott laughed at Gwen's comment. "Don't worry, Gavin and I will find the best way possible to embarrass you! Won't we, Gavin?" He nudged Gavin with his elbow. "Don't take anything personally. I don't judge!"

Scott looked down at the ground and then back up at the twins. 'Well, I woudnt consider myself interesting at all. I'm just another smudge on the Earth." He contemplated what he had said versus what Gavin had just said. "Still, even if Gwen didn't come out and say what you liked, you would have been able to come up with more than I could probably conjure. Oh, and thanks for for the compliment, even if I don't believe it, I still appreciate the effort!" Scott waved his hand as if waving something evil away, a smile on his face.

"Anyway, I was born as a very weak baby. My bones weren't at all that strong, so the doctors had to confine me to a hospital bed until they found a "cure" for my condition." Scott shifted his gaze to the ground. "What they doctors didn't know was that they weren't helping me by not allowing me to move around and strengthen myself. Whenever I could, I would practice trying to walk. things went like this until I was fifteen before I ran away from the hospital. I vowed never to return." Scott chuckled nervously just to hear himself chuckle. He hadn't told anyone about his past because he was afraid it might make him a laughingstock. He sat back in his seat and chewed his nails, waiting for a reaction of some sort.

Elia frowned at Viktoria's giggle. What was so funny? She didn't get it. This world certainly was strange. The knight glanced at the hand that was placed on her shoulder only a moment later. Viktoria's explanation certainly helped with the shock that she was experiencing. Elia knew deep down that the how the lights were controlled wasn't important, but it was strange to her, and new.

"We might as well try to go to the auditorium." Elia said, nodding. "It's not like we're going to find out much here!" The knight laughed, relaxing a little. She would trust Viktoria for now - she had no reason not to. Besides, she could hold her own in a fight if it actually came to that.

Elia smiled as she began to walk towards one of the cafeteria's exits. She paused. Turning to Viktoria, she said,
"You should probably lead, or I'll just get us lost." That was more than a distinct possibility, and Elia didn't want to spend hours trying to find one room.

I feel your pain. XD Things are always so busy right after the holidays, what with going back to routines and all.

(Wait, doesn't that make him left the hospital 2 years ago?)

Gwen laughed at Scott's comment. "Try me." He said, looking more at Gavin. She thought for a moment, then smiled. "I'd rather not get into a fight over this." She said, looking from Scott to Gwen. "Seeing as you lost last time." She said, smiling evilly. Gwen snickered. "If that was your attempt, you've failed miserably." "I didn't say it was. But anyways, we'll get you later." Gavin finished, elbowing Scott.

Gavin shrugged at Scott. "Hey, we're all just smudges, right?" She said, looking at Gwen to say something. "You're welcome on the compliment." Gwen said, having nothing much else to say on the rest of it.

The twins listened to his short story, neither changing their face. "It's a sad story." Gwen said. Gavin simply sighed. She was imagining what it would be like, confined to a hospital bed for the first fifteen years of your life. When Gavin imagined sad things, bad things tended to happen... "That's so sad..." Was all she said, trying to shake the thought from her head.

Raze'k gave Zane a nod when he said to follow him. A nod seemed to be the gesture of assurance here, so it only seemed fitting.
"Theatre.. Is like Colosseum? Will there be fighting? Raze'k hasn't sparred since Tul'g was angered at Raze'k for protecting Betelgeuse from his brother Zul'g. Insisted on eating the star for it's fire. Raze'k saw how magnificent it was, liked it. This, and it provided life for nearby world society."

His thoughts seemed to trail off again as he started following.
