He had seen many things and had journeyed through many other memories. He smiled softly to himself as he sees that his Goddess had retreated back into the statue. With a quick look down at the plaque, he smiled more and remembers everything that he saw. All of them sending a powerful message to him.
He takes his log book out and places it down on the pedestal and then blinks. He looks confusedly around but shrugs and turns away. Only the sense of happiness from this task filled him. He was happier than he had been.

Friends? No. No, he didn't think he had. Some of the memories had been pleasant, but far more had been painful, awful moments, the kind of memories that he hadn't wanted to see, had felt like an intruder as he watched. He was grateful that he hadn't known any of them. He couldn't have looked any of them in the eye after witnessing their old and private hurt.
He laid the little book on the pedestal, surrendering it gratefully. His own memory would be taken from him, but so would the weight of all the others. It was too much. He closed his eyes as he felt something being stripped away; he no longer knew what that something was, but he was aware, vaguely, that he'd given it up willingly and that he was glad it was gone.
He turned to go, keeping his head down, feeling a low roil of shame that he had been so easily willing to let go.

She had seen so many memories sad and happy ones it made her feel good. She did have the feeling she made friends this way and she did have strong emotions now. She happily offered her tea log on the podium leaving with a little smile. She felt great somehow.

She was almost reluctant to let it go.
Lyzzi gripped the tea log tightly in her hand; the happy and sad memories, the sweet and bitter memories, the lighthearted and serious memories... They were all personal and precious memories of someone. Someone like her.
With a soft sigh, she finally offered them up to the Goddess, knowing that it was necessary. For the greater good, right?

This time around Riot felt good to be returning back to the goddess with her task finished. Just like the last few times in returning to see that this goddess also returned back into a statue along with the other two. Looking at the plaque and smiled as yes in a way she had or at least experienced others memories. Riot kept in mind to what else what written on the plaque. Seeing that there was also just one empty podium to which it was also glowing. Still smiling as Riot was glad to give this memories to the goddess as there were a few different tasting memories inside that Riot thought the goddess might like. Putting her tea log on to the podium. Then leaving feeling happiness as the memories faded away.

Ixb placed his tea log down almost reluctantly. Alot of the memories had been hard to bear or simply sad. Not all though. He felt a bit closer to all those unknown faces but knew that for his goddess he would do anything.

Linswo had had his fill of teas. They were all unique and interesting, but he could only take so many negative teas. The ones filled with warmth were truly a blessing. But the realization made him frown. Why did everyone have so many negative memories? It saddened him. Silently, he placed his log down.

He had returned, once more to find a statue instead of a goddess. He was starting to get used to that, and he read the plaque. Did you make many friends? These are an important part of building emotions.Hmm. There was only one pedestal this time, and he offered up his memories to it. Some of them had been painful, and others wonderful, but these were certainly a worthy offering. There weren't as many as there could have been, but hopefully they would be enough. They were gone, and he was filled with happiness. He must have done well.

Nerrisa frowned at the plaque, friends? She hadn't...perhaps she ought to try.
She cringed at the pedestal and clung to her Tea Log reluctant to surrender it. The memories of others she had sampled wouldn't have pained her this much to give up, but the one memory she had, the one she knew in her heart was her own, that memory she held tight.
Is this fair?
Why do they ask this of us?
Why must I give this up?
What good does it do?
She slowly placed the memories on the pedestal sacrificing them brought tears to her eyes. Then they were gone and she brushed at the tears in confusion, oh tears of happiness! She smiled and turned away.

Friends? No he didn't think so. Aside from the one, he felt no particular attachment to any of the ones he tried.
He placed the tea log on the podium.
If anything, the memories had given him a brief experience in emotion he had yet to really experience. Or so he thought.

Rika found herself once again in front of the statue and a nearby podium. Reading the inscription, she pulled out her Tea Log and placed it on the podium. A feeling of calm happiness drifted over her as the podium glowed. Staring at it for a moment, she figured she felt happy because she'd done a good job, and left.

Friends? Maiden thought the point of this was emotions, friendship was just collateral, and besides, he didn't know them, not in the slightest. All images found in a teacup, nothing more. If that was what the goddess wanted to believe, then she can do as she wishes. The log that Maiden collected was placed there for her safekeeping. All of what he saw was gone, save for a general feeling of delight, that it was done and people were happy. Maybe now the goddess can share in their delight. He left with his head held high.

Andie returned with a grin. It diddn't phase him that there was only a statue there and not the goddess, having been sort of expecting it by now. He walked over and read the plaques before offering the memory tea, filled with different kinds of emotions. Soon the memories left him but he was still happy. He turned and walked away, feeling like he had done a good job. Tea Log

Friendship?
Zanna wasn't sure if that was what she got out of these experiences, though she certainly felt closer to the people she had experienced the memories of, even if they were all faces she did not truly know. She clutched the log close to her heart, understanding that in order to move on, she needed to let go of these memories onto the podium they belonged on.
When she set the log on the pedestal, she felt the memories from herself and from those she had visited slip out, disappearing along with the log she set down. That was alright, though. She still felt a smile on her face.
She had done what she was supposed to, and grown her connections as asked by the Goddess of Longing. She had done her duty as a Candidate.

Coyote returned with her little book of borrowed memories and she set it down on the pedestal with a mingled sense of relief and betrayal. Relief that she could give up one more overwhelmingly painful memory, a memory that had left tears drying on her cheeks long after she'd left her own brew and tasted others. And yet. Weren't memories what she had been searching for? Hadn't she wanted to know more, to learn more, about who she was? There was no answers, only confusion.
