Her courage grew as the flames failed to appear, and another breath brought in another fog, this time... courage, bravery. Boldness. Not the easy grace of before, but something else. Something more real, at least from Naian's perspective. Something... grounded.
The glider moved out into clear airspace. She was so close now.

He'd been so close, and he believed that he was destined to fall here. The air had grown far fiercer than he had imagined, and with Imuiel so close to the island, a feeling of despair had begun to rise, clutching his throat with an iron grip. He closed his eyes as another strike of wind rammed into his glider--
And then, just like that, he landed.
It took Imuiel a few seconds to open his eyes after the jarring crunch, slowly cracking just one open for the moment. Was he here--? Yes. Yes, he had made it, he had done it! Stepping off the glider eagerly, he almost stumbled as he reached the ground, moving excitedly towards the shrine. With a wide grin hidden under his mask, he chose his blessing, exulting in the warmth as he was whisked back to the cliff where he began.

As he heard the unfathomable whispers of the voices, he felt the overwhelming joy wash over him as he smiled, piloting the glider with ease. He could feel someone smiling upon him.

Still the courage flowed through him, even as the glider dropped few dozen feet lower. He maintained the healthy respect for the gulf below, but still he managed to keep his cool and keep the glider going smoothly.

Thankfully, that odd buffeting feeling of displaced courage made the rest of the flight smooth enough to perk the girl up a little. She had done well so far, trial and error weren't bad! They were learning experiences, they were growth. They were things to add to the list of what she knew, and that was something far more important.

Ganximei had found herself wandering towards this new place. Curiosity peeking, her heart glowed bright. The shed was heart warming and the white bird like gliders were charming. In the distance she could see far off islands, one that glowed caught her attention.
She felt drawn to it, a need to get there.
And so she began to wind up the launcher. As soon as she felt it was enough she climbed aboard and soon she was zipping through the air on her way towards the tempting island. A feeling of freedom and exhilaration fluttered through her being.

The glider began to shake; the currents here were more unpredictable, affected by odd updrafts from below. What was below? Naian didn't dare look. Instead, she grimly hung on and tried to steer the glider towards the largest island.

He maintained his bearing the entire way, respecting the distance he fell, but never giving into the small iota of fear that washed over him. He had this in the bag. He was faking his way through it just fine.

Just like last time, getting close to the islands was much harder than anything else. It felt a little traitorous to think so, but Annabell almost preferred that awful fire vision over these gusts of wind. ...Well... Maybe not...

In his search he found...well, cliffs. That was quite obvious; the world was full of them. He didn't expect the little winged totems, though - like those statues, earlier! (Belatedly, Sarviur realized that the statues had been his Goddess and some other Goddesses who hadn't blessed him.)
And he didn't expect the little bird-esque gliders, either, pretty as they were, or the other shadows with their blue hearts flying toward...a glowing island?
Could Sarviur do that? He hoped so! He grabbed one (not questioning the surprising ease it took him to drag it over) and spent quite a while trying to figure out how to get it to work before...
Oh. Yes. That sure was a crank. He smiled in relief, and cranked it until he no longer could. Then he hopped in.

With a wail, Naian overshot the island and smacked into the fog boundary. Again she felt drowned in white and cold before the world melted and she found herself on the cliff again.
