James awoke the next morning and went about his normal activities. Breakfast, work, and then off to the shelter. He was exited to see Alex again. Only two people knew his secret aside from the two from last night. And he did not know any other Touched until last night. James made it to the shelter and asked where Alex was. He was sure they would know who he meant, the man stood out a little. James was a little surprised to learn that the big guy had caught a cold and was resting. Huh, guess even metal men are susceptible to germs. James instead went about his normal routine, helping out.
((Apologies if I advanced into the next day to fast. I can go back if you like, but I didn't think we'd be up to much until evening.))

Daniel slipped his bag into its usual spot and slipped outside, put on his mask as the shadows began to cling to his skin, and made his way to the roof of the building so he could watch for James when he came out to go home. He had a night planned and he wanted backup, so he drew the shadows closer to him even more and waited.
(Sorry so short.)

James' night was largely uneventful. He had been hoping to talk with Alex about the events of the previous evening, But with the big guy down with a cold he ended up simply falling into routine, lost in his own thoughts. Eventually his shift ended and James made his farewells and then began walking home.
((Also short...))

Daniel watched James exit and followed him a few buildings down. "Hey Fort!" Was the only thing that could be heard before he was walking next to the teleporter. "The night is young, feeling up for a fight?" The young superhero smiled, but the shadows with thick like a mask, but his tone was cheery.

"Not creepy at all there, Stalkerman." James said sarcastically. "And it depends on what you have in mind. I'm guessing you're talking about thugs and or criminals? In which case I'm game. On the other hand if we're going to beat up some boy scouts I'm less game."
((I don't know if you have anything in mind, but I was just thinking that it might make a lot of sense if there were some gang issues in the city.))

Daniel exaggeratedly looked as taken aback as a shadow can, "You wound me sir. Stalkerman, c'mon I'm way cooler than that." He chuckled a little, "Its not like I can just grab a phone book and call up Fort. Anyway, yeah thugs and stuff. A gang calling themselves the Night Mystics took control of an old apartment complex. The apartment is like a barracks for a small part of their operation, but they deal primarily in drugs and slaves." Shadowman looked to James, "So are you in?"

"Sounds like the kind of thing a couple of well intentioned Touched should be looking into. Have you scouted them out already? Do they have any Touched of their own?" James asked. "Also, if we're going to do this I'd like to run by my secret headquarters first. I have some equipment I'd like to bring."

"I'm not sure if they have any Touched, but I'd assume they do. When Stice was talking about them it sounded like they were a fairly large organization. Even if they don't have any Touched at the apartment, I'm estimating the number of skulls to crack at any one time to be between thirty and forty. Oh and yeah I scouted it the best I could." He looked around a bit to make sure no one was around. "Your secret headquarters? Should I um...wait here or come with or what?"

"Nah, it's fine. I'm mostly kidding anyways." James reached out a put a hand on Shadowman's shoulder. Almost instantly the two of them vanished and reappeared in midair halfway up the building they were just standing beside. Before gravity even had a chance to start pulling them down they jumped again and this time appeared atop the building. "I study martial arts. My sensei is one of the only people that knows about my ability. And he supports me using it to help people. So he lets me stash my equipment at his dojo." James paused for a second. "You don't mind if I jump us there, do you? It'll be a lot quicker than walking."

"Whoa!" Two jumps and they were on top of the building. He grinned and started laughing a bit. "Do I mind? A little late for that don't you think. No I don't though, because this is going to be awesome." He nodded to Fort and waited.

James continued jumping them from rooftop to rooftop, several times he was forced to make them appear in midair and take a second, rapid, jump in order to bridge a gap. Shortly they arrived at their destination. It was close to the edge of town. The building was smallish, and low. The front had been designed to look like a japanese style shrine, though the paint was cracked and peeling. James teleported them onto the roof of the building from atop another. Then he teleported again and they were inside. The building was hardwood floored and there were wooden plaques hanging on the wood-paneled walls. Racks of wooden and bamboo weapons stood against the walls along with kendo guards. "I'll have you wait here for this part. Where I'm headed next isn't very spacious." James said. James teleported away again, leaving Shadowman behind. He reappeared in a small room, about the size of a closet. There was a narrow table with a case lying on it. The case was airtight, just in case of flooding since the room was now in was actually under the floor of the dojo. James released the locks on the case and laid his hands on the items inside. He teleported the objects into place and closed the case again. After that Fort teleported back into the dojo next to where he'd left Shadowman. Fort now stood in a suit that his sensei had made for him it was grey with black streaks stitched on complete with a mask that covered his face from hairline to the bottom of his nose. He had knives strapped on in various paces. But the most noticeable change was the pair of longswords strapped across his back. "Well, what do you think?" Fort asked. "Too conspicuous?"

When they appeared inside the dojo, the shadows that wrapped around his body as his costume began to dissolve and peel away. "Yeah...I'll just wait here." And James was gone, he started looking at the racks of weapons, the shadows now stripped from him.
He wore dark denim jeans and a Punisher t-shirt with his brown trench coat over top of it. When James appeared, he'd turn revealing a leather mask that covered the upper half of his face. Daniel reached up and ran a hand through his spiked brown hair as he eyed James, "No, you don't have a rocket launcher." His teeth showed in a huge grin as he walked back over to Fort. "Lets go party."

Fort grinned back at him. It was nice to have somebody he could talk to who was in the same boat as he was. Fort placed a hand on Shadowman's shoulder and teleported the two of them back onto the roof. "Where to?"

Daniel turned in a circle, orienting himself to the area as shadows began to cover him again. "Okay..." He pointed off to the North, "Twelve blocks should put us in sight of it, we'll still be a couple blocks away, but we should come out across a small park from it giving us good vantage to double check on the number of doormen before we go in."

"Got it." Fort said. He placed his hand on Shadowman's shoulder again and teleported them away. It took several jumps, with Fort taking a brief pause between each one unless he had to make a 'double jump' in order to bridge a larger gap, before they arrived at their destination. Fort was slightly winded by then and took a moment to catch his breath. "I'm gonna have to get used to that." He whispered. "I don't take people with me very often. And I've never taken somebody with me for so many jumps in a row before. I'm gonna have to work on it to strengthen myself up."
