Figurines - 0 Roll 3 Marcelyn After getting pranked a second time, Marcelyn was ready to give up. She was frightened to even pick up a third one in fear that she would get spray with something or painted again. She searched around, finding the water spell to be successfuul before, she used it again after nearing the steps leading into the gamekeeper's hut. Finding a figurine, Marcelyn picked it up.
Alas, the Slytherin's luck still hadn't come around as she watched the thing shake and suddenly disappear. She wondered what it could be doing until she felt a drop of water. She looked up to see a small rain cloud and watched it begin to pour down on her.
"Oh, stupid, stupid, stupid!" She cried before storming off to look elsewhere.

(Selina - 0, now 1)
Selina was starting to think she was really bad at this scavenger hunt game. Give her book puzzles any time over this. She moved away from the animal pens and headed over to the gamekeepers house to see if she would have better luck over there. When she was walking around the side of the house her foot caught something and she wobbled for a moment before regaining balance. The Ravenclaw crouched down and waved her hand over where her foot had hit something only to feel fur. The teen blinked and carefully brushed the fur away and uncovered a figurine, a real one this time, and smiled.

((Figurines: Zennah - 0 || Adelia - 0 || Aoide - 0)) Zennah spent far too long trying to get the dye off her boots. Several students around her had already found figurines while she was still searching. Grumbling to herself, she began digging around bushes more and more. Her fingers grabbed another one and she pulled it close only to have spiderwebs cover her face. She gave a short scream, her heart pounding as she pulled the web from her skin, shuddering.
Adelia jumped when she heard a scream nearby, the figurine she'd just picked up dropping and exploding in a fog. "Rats!" she said and snapped her fingers.
Aoide dug around in a pile of leaves near the animals and came up with a figurine, but as soon as she tried to put it in her bag it turned into bugs and worms crawling over her hand to get away. She shrieked and shook them off. "Eww..."
((ahaha the figurines don't like my students XDD))

You may now start rolling for Round 4. Please record how many figurines your character has found at the top of your post.
Also, just a note. If you have not filled in your post with a RP response by the end of the game, whatever you rolled that turn will not count so if you rolled a figurine it will not count towards your final tally.

[figurines as of these rolls: Matty: 1, Rory: 3, Damien: 2]
Matty was slowly getting discouraged in the scavenger hunt. He was sure the other students had probably found all the statues by now and all he had for his troubles was a fake bat. Not that a fake bat wasn't cool, but the cloak would be better. Heck, the figurine itself would be better if they were allowed to keep them. Despite that, Matty kept digging around the bushes, hoping there would still be one hiding there somewhere. He looked off to the side and noticed a Slytherin boy use his magic to try finding a figurine. As he was watching the boy find himself a figurine, Matty's hand bumped into something. He looked back curiously and noticed his hand had moved a bit of a tiny cloak that was now lying against the top of the hand. He raised his hand up a little more so the cloak came off of the figurine. When nothing happened to him this time, he gave a wide grin. Finally!
After his success in the animal pen, Rory continued looking around to see if there was anything else the professor could have hidden a figurine under. As he was walking out of the pen, he got a little too close to the main post. However, instead of kicking the post, he noticed something shine as it went flying a little ways away from him. When he noticed the slightly familiar sight of the shimmer, he quickly rushed over to it before any of the other students could notice it. He quickly scooped it up and pocketed it before looking to see where he wanted to try next.
After pocketing the figure, Damien continued looking around the house and in the windows just in case. He ran a hand over a window sill and noticed something brush his hand. He peeled the tiny cloak off and revealed an opaque statue. It took a second before the figurine exploded, showering Damo in confetti.

Alois' Figurines - 1 Round 4
Frowning at his two failures to find a real figurine, Alois scratched his head and thought about a stradegy. Coming up with nothing, he headed to a lone patch of grass in the midst of a mud puddle. He cast the petty water spell and came across nothing.
Alois continued searching for another figurine before finding another suspicious spot which had potential to hold a hidden item. Moving a broken branch, he used the spell again and came upon a lone figure. He picked it up and held it expecting it to keep still or do some kind of trick to mess with him.
Addition:
Alois found himself growing weary of the statue as he continued to look at it. It looked different from his other and he knew it couldn't be real. His weariness was justified when the Ravenclaw felt a spray of bad breath or something sent at his face. Pouting, the boy was thankful that it was only something harmless.

Marcelyn's Figurines - 1 Round 4
Marcelyn had a sinking feeling that she wasn't going to get lucky anytime soon. Her luck had already failed her one to many times for her to believe otherwise. Groaning, the girl glared at everyhing that crossed her path including a few Gryffindors. Her mind raced for what the next prank could possibly be. She was already covered in makeup which was surely running down her face as the rain continued to pour on her head.
Pushing her blond hair out of her eyes, Marce started spraying in a bunch of random directions. She made sure to avoid the students around her and eventually found herself looking at another cursed figureine. She wasn't sure why she continued but she eventually grabbed it from the ground ready for whatever prank to come at her.
Addition:
She sighed as she awaited something with her eyes closed but after a few minutes nothing happened. Her eyes opened wide and she looked around frantically for any sign of clouds, spray paint, silly googly eyes but nothing happened. She looked at the figurine still in her hand and jumped in the air when she realized that it was real. Her excitement settled down when she realized that she might have been making a fool of herself.

(Lina: 1)
Lina shuffled around a bit, careful not to scuff her shoes but making sure to keep them low in case there was something she was missing. It didn't help her in the slightest though and instead she found another dud half hidden behind a rock. When she had picked it up it let out a burst of orange and black sparkles.

(first roll Dorian, 2nd Francis) Dorian: Rd 1: 0, Rd 2: 0. Rd 3: 0, Rd 4: 1 Dorian was a bit miffed that he had still not found a single statue. It kind of peeved him. He could see that quite a few kids had found a bunch of them or a few and he couldn't help but wonder what they were doing differently.
Maybe it was all just chance. And perhaps his luck was about to change. Gods he hoped so.
Dorian walked around the game keeper's hut and then around some of the pens, not sure where to look. It seemed as though all the areas were occupied and he wasn't about to shove his way in so he could look as well.
He ended up making his way over to a first year slytherin girl that was hanging around the game keeper's storage shed. As he got closer he saw that she had just found one of the statues. Well at least she had some luck at finding one. Maybe he would as well.
"Congratulations on finding one." He told her with a smile.
He decided he might as well try using a water spell to see if he'd find a statue. He had seen a hufflepuff girl using it and figured it would be a good way to find one. After using it five different times he finally found a statue in a small alcove between the shed and the hut. He reached in and pulled it out and looked it over.
"You'd better not be another dud." he muttered and glared down at it. When nothing happened and the statue stayed the same he relaxed and slid it into his pocket. "Finally! I found one."
Francis; Rd 1: : 0, Rd 2: 0. Rd 3: 0, Rd 4: 0 It had taken Francis a good half hour to calm down from the whole beetle fiasco. He was still shaking slightly when he resumed looking for another statue. He was resolved this time to not even touch one if he found one.
He walked around one of the pens, and sprinkling dust with one hand as he went. He was about a third of the way around when he saw some shimmering and bent down to flick off the demiguise fur.
He eyed the statue and then backed up a few feet in a very cautious manner. It was probably good that he was further away from it, because after a few moments the statue erupted and spattered black gooey stuff all over. Francis jumped back clutching his chest and looked over his clothes and his shoes.
There was one small dot of the ooey black goop on his left shoe which made him wrinkle up his nose in disgust. "Gross. I'm glad I didn't get more on me."

(first dice Jane, 2nd Siobahn) Jane: 2 Figures +1= 3 Jane was rather surprised when she was congratulated by a third year slytherin. "Why thanks, I seem to be having a lot of good luck today." She said with a smile.
She pushed a lock of stray hair behind her ear and then went back to looking. She couldn't help but frown when the older student found one in the area she had been looking in. "Well..that's fine, it doesn't look like he's found that many yet." She said to herself.
She decided to go look around the pen again. She started shooting water spells with her wand and was ecstatic when she almost immediately hit a statue. She pulled off the rest of the wet fur and picked it up to look it over. She shoved it into her pocket when nothing happened after a few moments.
"Sweet, three statues is a good start." She said with a happy smirk.
Siobahn: 2 Figures +1= 3 Sibby bit on her lip and looked around the grounds. It looked like every place was filled with kids searching for statues. By now the grounds had to have been picked clean.
"Where should I look now?" She whispered to herself.
She decided to walk over to front of the game keeper's hut and to look in the brush pile next to it. So far she hadn't seen anyone looking there. She pulled her wand out and started waving it around and cast a wind spell.
She nearly jumped up and down in excitement when a statue was revealed. "Yes!" She grabbed it and danced around happily. Then she stopped and looked at it with a slight frown. "Please be a real one. " She pleaded.
After a few moments of nothing happening her smile burst forth again. "Well I guess you are!" She shoved it into her pocket and went around looking again.

Alois' Figurines - 1 Round 5
Alois whined as he continued to smell the horrid air that had come out of that last fake figurine. He was growing tired of the pranks but knew he couldn't give up or else he would probably lose points in the class. This was one of his stronger subjects, so he didn't want to screw it up. His eyes looked around to see so many succeedeing while he continued to fail miserably.
That's what you get for sounding so confident in the beginning, Alois." he thought, heading to one of the animal pens he hadn't been to already. He always thought that when he cheered himself on that he jinxed himself, but he never listens to his own warnings. He could be such an idiot at times even if he was a brilliant, young wizard.
Alois kicked a rock and cringed when it hit a larger rock and richocheted back at him. It connected with his shin and he left out a pained gasp. He grimaced at his luck. He shouldn't have taken his anger out on the poor rock because it just came back to bite him in the rear end. Mentally apologizing to the rock, Alois raised his wand and pointed it at the larger rock. He was only half surprised to see a glimpse of one of the small statues just behind the rock.
"Cool," Alois said, his voice unenthusiastic as he walked nearer to the figurine. Bending to pick it up, the young Ravenclaw couldn't help but think that his luck wasn't going to turn around anytime soon.

[figurines as of these rolls: Matty: 2, Rory: 3, Damien: 3]
After finally having luck from digging in the bushes, Matty decided to keep looking there. If the other students had missed the one that he found, maybe they had missed more. Even if he didn't win, the figurines would be nice keepsakes. He could use them as villains when he brought out his action figures. As he continued crawling around the house, he remembered what the Slytherin boy had done to find one of the statues. He didn't really want to lift the bushes up like the boy had done to the hay, but he wondered if there was something else he could do that would help him find another one.
"Lumos," he whispered as he pulled out his wand. He used the now glowing tip to search in the bushes. So far the extra light from his spell wasn't working out; he could still only see the dirt and the leaves. He looked around him before making the decision to poke around with his wand. As he poked around in the bushes, he noticed his wand land on one spot and the glow change just a bit. He poked the spot a bit harder and noticed the fluttering of something as it tipped over. He used his wand to move the cloak to the side, revealing another figurine. He gave a small 'whoop' in excitement and pocketed the new figurine.
Rory was now walking with a purpose. He had found three of the figurines so far, he desperately wanted to find another one. He looked around and wondered to himself about where to go next. After looking around and seeing some go towards the gate keeper's house and some go to the animal pens that he hadn't been in yet, he decided to go with the obvious: the grass where everyone had been trampling to get everywhere. As he walked around, he kept a close eye on the grass beneath his feet. He would take a step and kick his foot lightly to see if he would make contact with anything. He spotted a slightly taller patch of grass off on the edge and made his way over to it. He bent down and peeled back the blades and seen one of the statues staring at him. Weren't they supposed to be covered? He hesitantly reached out and barely grazed the exposed statue with a finger. When he did, the head of the figurine popped up and it let out a creepy laugh, startling the slytherin boy. He sneered at it before quickly getting away from it.
After searching by the house, Damien decided to head elsewhere. He left the gate keeper's house and made his way to one of the pens that he hadn't been to yet. He noticed a few of them had been using magic to help them out and decided he could try it out this time. He noticed a pile of hay that had yet to be scattered around and aimed his wand at it.
"Mobiliarbus," he muttered quietly and used the spell to move the hay out of his way. After getting the straw out of the way, Damien stowed his wand back away and began looking where the pile had been sitting. He kicked at the ground, letting his feet be to one to make contact with anything down there just in case. He didn't want to be covered in any thing else today; silly string and confetti was enough for him. His foot ended up making contact with something just a bit too hard and it caused whatever it was to roll over. When he looked down to see what it was, he noticed the opaque demiguise fur and statue laying next to each other. He picked up the statue cautiously; when nothing exploded out of it at him, he pocketed it and went on his way.
