Kyler blinked and froze up. His face went all red and he put a hand to where he just had been kissed. He never felt that before, it made all his hairs on his neck stand up.

" Umm... ah... y..ya welcome"

Kyler grabbed the hood on his sweater and pulled it over his head shyly as he looked at the ground. He just wanted to hide in a dark corner but didn't know why.

" Oh ah.. sure.. sorry to hold you up"

Kyler looked up with all eight eyes and smiled lightly. Then slowly got to his feet and dusted himself off. He shyly reached forward and mussed up Pterois hair and grinned a little.

" I'll see you around"

He chuckled a little and then ran, heading towards the development house.

Ladon had come out to explore, wanting to see what lay outside his room, though his room had been facinating to start with, over time it had gotten menial. So today he made his way down to the nearest place he could, the lake. Slithering carefully along, he looked about him, the tens of serpentine eyes giving him a very wide but scattered perspective around him. He still wore his blindfold, having never removed it since the day he was brought into the word, the mental image of the turned-to-stone rabbit burned into his thoughts.

Still, despite this obedience, there was an arrogance to how he went along, his movements dangerous and at the same time petulant, his rippling iridecent scales as beautiful as oil on water.

As he drew nearer to his destination, he spotted a figure on the shore already. He just paused in his slithering, raising up several of his hair-snakes to get a better veiw, his equivalent of staring. She wasn't a construct. This was interesting indeed.

Moving a little closer, he spoke, his voice youthful but effeminate, ringing with that reptillian confidence that practically seeped from his every move.

"Who are you?"

Ladon barely missed a beat as the girl introduced herself to him, feeling that the only appropriate reaction to someone offering their hand was a handshake, he wasn't sure how he knew, he just did. Reaching out one of his pigment-speckled hands, he shook hers, offering a tenative grin of his own, revealing his fangs but in a completely non-threatening way.

"Ladon." he said "Chloe." he repeated her name once, just to commit it to memory.

The snakes that made up his hair seemed very interested in her, twining around from behind him to peek over his shoulders, he ignored them.

"So what is this place?" he asked, looking with facination at the lake.

The wind was chill, and yet Krait stood at th end of the lake with his pale toes bared to the elements. He still wore his heavy winter coat and long scarf bundled around his slim body. Hands tucked into pockets, and breathing white clouds of breath, Krait wriggled his toes in the cold water of the lake's edge. He much've looked a silly contrast from afar, but the rosin seemed lost in his own little world. The teen had his blue-on-black eyes focused unblinking on the shimmering lake's surface, and other than the occassional flick of his tail rudder on the water's surface he remained perfectly still.

Krait looked up as he saw a shadow flicker overt he water's surface. The teen raised his eyes and peered around him, eventually catching sight of the girl next to him. Krait intook a sharp breath and blinked languidly. He hadn't heard he aproach...nor smelled her with his tongue. He must've been lost deeper in his thoughts than he had assumed. Krait tasted the air once, then twice... No scent of danger.
Softly, meekly, the older boy whispered, "Hello..."

Krait looked up, startled and caught sight of the red-and-black girl. She had eyes like he did... Krait took a moment to let that sink in and after a long stony silence he responded. "Hello..." He reached out with his rudder and allowed his tail to shake her outstretched hand. Krait's own hands remained, as usual burried in his pockets.
