Sora released the Yura Yura Ranpu no Jutsu that she had been holding from before as Yamatano launched forwards. A blinding flash would emit from her body, one that would stun Jishaku if he looked into it directly. Even if Yamatano's body shielded Jishaku's eyes from looking into the light directly, it would at least cause the Mist shinobi's form to become nothing more than a silhouette.

Of course, though, the light only lasted for as long as Sora was behind Yamatano as the snake that Sora had stuck herself onto with the Tree-Walking technique suddenly turned. She had expected such a maneuver and so was able to prevent herself from flinging off the snake at the sudden change in direction. However, she didn't have enough time to think of a way to remain behind Yamatano even as his snake changed directions. She could only hope that the considerable distance between herself and the snake's head had given her technique enough time to support Yamatano's attack.User Image

As David spoke, Jishaku wondered if he thought he was supposed to feel any remorse for him or his village. He contemplated mentioning it right off the bat, but decided to say something later. At the mention of Shukaku laughing, something he was sure was a failed attempt at a taunt, Jishaku muttered through his toothy grin, "What can I say kid, I am to please." It was then that David flashed through hand seals and shouted the name of the sand pit technique. Had Jishaku been stupid, he would've jumped upwards as he watched the snake kid launch himself at him. However, it seemed David had now began to underestimate him. He knew the hand signs of both jutsu well, both the sand pit technique and the rope technique as well. Trying to trick a man who had the same abilities as yourself was rather stupid in Jishaku's opinion, however he let it slide as if he were caught off guard and unable to move quick enough. In fact, the man didn't move at all as the ropes ensnared him.

It was then that the mist-nin came into close range, something he wanted the boy to do. As his strike neared, Jishaku's grin widened. Despite him not really being able to see him because of the flickering light technique sent from one of the Kumo-nin, he could sense the metal headed straight for him, allowing him to defend without needing to see. Without so much as moving a muscle, the boy would feel his striking arm veer drastically off course, his blade instead slicing right through the rope which held Jishaku's right hand ransom. And the moment his hand was free and the boy was well within arm's reach albeit surprised at what happened, Jishaku grabbed the boy by the neck. The moment his hand connected with the boy's neck, dozens of strands of electricity wrapped and arced around the full length of his arm rapidly shooting down into his hand and into the body of the boy. Holding the boy up with one hand his gaze shifted slowly sideways towards the boy before he tossed him a few feet away near the boy who had unveiled a large fuuma shurikent, one that looked quite interesting. Turning his head slowly towards that same boy he muttered with a smile, "I don't recommend approaching me with that thing. In fact, I'd put that boy on his little snake and take those brats with you. Because the next time I touch one of you, someone's going to die."

As he spoke, the man had removed a kunai from his side pouch and slashed his other arm free followed by his ankles in quick succession, his eyes trained on David while doing so. Spinning the kunai for a second before placing it away he looked at David shaking his head. "Tsk tsk tsk. Now who's underestimating who? Come on kid, I know what hand seals are. So let's just cut the crap and take this seriously. I don't have time to play games."

David scowled, stopping short as somehow, Jishaku managed to redirect Yamatano, cutting himself free of one of the ropes and freeing his arms. There wasn't time to react as the man caught Yamatano out of the air and shot lightning into him... David stopped entirely at that, just standing and watching as the man threw the boy aside. Then the man reached for a kunai to cut himself free of the rest of the ropes, and that was where he'd meet his surprise.

The second his hand touched his pouch, one of the cut off strands of rope wrapped around it, tightening and yanking the arm behind his back. Simultaneously, another set of ropes leaped from the earth below, one aimed to wrap around his neck and pull him backwards, a second to grab for the other freed arm, and two more wrapping around the torso after the rest had done their work and holding them all in place. Jishaku's mistake was simple. He cut himself free of one rope, and ignored the rest until it was too late. The one he had cut was still able to do it's work, returning to take hold, and David had plenty of time while the man was distracted with his own ego to run through the seals again.

But it was evident that the ropes weren't enough. Even if he didn't break free on brute force, which would take some time now thanks to the sheer number on him, he had an unusual ability. One that, going only by what he'd done to Yamatano, and said to Shinji, David had to assume was similar to what the boy, Laxus, had shown in the tower. Magnetism. How interesting that the man attacking his village had the same power that was believed to have destroyed Iwagakure.

"Shinji, I have an odd feeling that this man knows what happened to your village. You did say something about floating metal, didn't you?" Yet again, that cruel smirk crawled onto David's face. Even if this wasn't the right man, that would tell Shinji both his assumption that magnetism was involved, protecting him from that, and enrage him perfectly to pound this fool to a fine paste. But of course, that required that he didn't break free, and his ropes were oh so vulnerable to bladed floating weapons it seemed.

As he spoke, David ran through a series of seals Jishaku wouldn't recognize so easily. David smiled wider as sand pumped up through the ropes, enlarging them temporarily and then growing outwards, a multitude of sand formed arms growing out of the ropes, grabbing hold of Jishaku wherever they pleased. Some wrapped all the way around him, grabbing hold of each other and pulling tighter, others would reach out grabbing for his other arm if it had escaped the ropes, dragging it back into line. Some grasped hold of the man's tool pouch, holding it shut just in case he tried to use magnetism to free his weapons. One pair even reached out to grab hold of his head and twist it, hoping to snap the man's neck, despite David's (Fading) wish to keep the man at least partially alive.

"Shinji, turn him to paste please?" David spoke once he was done, and focused on holding the arms in place. It would take a bit more than fancy maneuvering to escape this time. David even deactivated his sand sight. There was little need for it anymore. Jishaku wasn't going anywhere, and even if he was, he could just reactivate the technique.

Type: Ninjutsu | Supplementary/Offensive
Element: Sand
Units: 1 per arm
Range: 15 Feet
Description:
Much like the sand trap technique, this technique can be used as an addition to sand techniques, though it can also be used on it's own as a standalone jutsu. When an opponent comes within range, arms of sand will reach out and attempt to grab them and then drag them back towards the source of the sand arms, pinning them in place. Alternately, it can be useful against projectiles by having the sand arms grab them and throw them back where they came from. With enough focus, the user can control the arms more thoroughly.

His attention focused completely on Yamatano and his target, Shinji's body suddenly felt a strange warping sensation as a wave of fatigue flooded across his body. With the wave of pain filling into his being, Shinji's vision hazed for a second, but then refocused just in time to see Yamatano's blade, which had been flying directly towards his foe was suddenly and wildly deflected to cut on of the sand chains restraining the man. As the metal was deflected however, Shinji felt in his mind a sudden sickening of his stomach as he felt a low bellowing noise fill his consciousness as pain flooded his body, disorienting him heavily. Lost amid the pain of his bloodline's backlash, Shinji struggled to be at grips with his surroundings, but he fought agaisnt it, his muscles screaming in pain as his own chakra lashed out at him from inside.

Amidst it all however, through his hazed vision, Shinji saw Yamatano thrown aside through the air his ear's catching the faintest sound of a voice, as if it were brokenly whispered in the air through his disorientation. "Shinji... this man... your village...floating metal..." His eyes suddenly opening wide, Shinji's psyche lost control as he looked up to the foe he was facing, the scene around him flashing in his mind, changing the backdrop of the ruined area of the Sunagakure into the decimation of his own village. His mind replayed the sounds of his people screaming in his ears, the village around him crumbling as buildings collapsed amid a low, bass vibration through the air as metal was bent and strewn wildly around the air.

A blackout, then a flash of light turned the scene in his mind dark as the Sunagakure came back into view, the very sand in the air from the Sunaton techniques used distorted into darkened shadowy fragments floating in the air, falling to the ground. Again his mind arrested him, his body frozen in position as his muscles screamed in agony, adding to the affect on his mind. It was raining again, that strange ash all across his village, young children playing with it like it was snow. Closing his eyes, Shinji attempted to shut the images out, but when he opened them again, all he could see was the man, his opponent in front of him, chains of distorted sand grabbing him from all sides. then, a final whispering in his ear again.. "Shinji... turn him to paste." Shinji lost all control, his mind snapping amidst the sudden actions of the scene, the pain his bloodline had fed to him and the words whispered in his ear caused him to let loose a guttural cry as his chakra surged through him, moving almost on instinct. Dropping his fuuma shuriken, Shinji loosened the sheath of metal which held his blade, as they both fell onto the thick skin of the snake. Similarly, the rest of his pouches were loosened from his body, as he dropped all semblance of metal from his person, before looking directly at his target with eyes glossed over with blind rage as they glowed, almost prismatically with energy.

Shinji's arms and legs then suddenly burst forth with energy, a screaming blood red chakra igniting like fire from within him, engulfing his limbs as he suddenly surged forward, disappearing in a glint of red light as he pushed off from the snake's head, likely injuring it severely with the force he pushed off. In what would seem like the blink of an eye, Shinji appeared once more, a glint of red chakra appearing in the air before Shinji's body re-materialized again, his right arm, engulfed in the raw chakra of his bloodline pulled behind his body before it suddenly shot forward, his fist aimed directly at Jishaku's chest. Beyond his own strength behind the attack, which was considerable considering the adrenaline flooding his veins, the raw chakra of his bloodline would nearly triple the intensity, the attack carrying with it the weight of two explosions tags as if they had been attached to his fist and exploded on contact.

If that were not enough however, lost in the blind ferocity of his tortured mind, intent on destroying the one who destroyed his village, a second attack would immediately follow as Shinji's other arm, also wrapped in the raw chakra of his bloodline would shoot forward as soon as the first attack hit, enabled by the adrenaline flooding through his veins. Carrying as much force as the first attack, in such quick succession, both with a speed unequaled even by Jounin, it would be a wonder if any target would survive the attack.

Pain Level 3 - The Konaga's Pain suddenly spikes, completely arresting their body for a few seconds, causing them to be unable to move as the pain of their bloodline temporarily overtakes them. This feeling quickly passes, allowing the Konaga to move normally once again. for the remainder of the post however, they suffer a reduction in Speed and Strength by 1 rank.

Pain Level 1 - The Konaga's Pain suddenly spikes, distracting them momentarily. How the pain exhibits itself differs (is up to the user to create), but it does not incapacitate them, it simply serves as a distraction.

Pain Level 0 - The Konaga's pain is at full strength, but this is normal. They feel the pain and are affected by it normally, but this does not endanger them or distract in any way. This is their baseline condition.

“Those who dare bring harm to my friends, my village, and my way of life…”

xxxxNo! Yamatano's thoughts screamed as his blade, without warning, changed it's course, cutting Jishaku's arm free. With the same arm, he grabbed Yamatano's throat. Yamatano brought his left hand to the man's wrist. trying to pull the iron grip away, but it made not difference. The lightning coursed through Yamatano's throat, a sea of energy and pain concentrated at his adam's apple, minorly spreading to the rest of his body. Yamatano's vision began to blur, and if the muscles in his throat weren't being paralyzed, would have screamed in agony. When the jutsu was done, he had barely enough energy to move his right arm away from him as he was thrown, preventing his hidden blade from stabbing him through the chest as it had done those months ago. Staggering to his feet, Yamatano went into a coughing fit, his neck muscles spasming from the electricity.

The Kyodaija, meanwhile, took Yamatano's place in fighting. Immediately after Yamatano was thrown aside, the Kyodaija descended upon Jishaku, Mouth open, intending to tear the man apart in it's massive fangs. The mighty serpent did not even regard the shinobi on his back: at seeing Yamatano's injury, the snake had entered an enragement that only the taste of Jishaku's blood could satisfy.

......Or would, had the other boy with is master's hair not leapt off the top of his face, arms glowing in a strange red light, descending upon his soon-to-be lunch. No matter: if the boy wanted to be eaten, that was his own business. The snake's rage made it care little for anyone other than Yamatano who got in his way, as long as Jishaku was killed.

(Clarification: Because the snake acted after Yamatano was thrown, the Snake's initial charge would have occurred approximately during the time when Jishaku was cutting the rest of his ropes/david was making new ones, assuming the actions happened simultaneously)

Things turned ugly very quickly, much more quickly than the pace that things turned ugly at before. Sora wasn't certain if it just seemed like that because she was scarily close to it all or if it really was like that.

Regardless, what mattered was that 1) Yamatano had just been shocked severely, 2) she was on top of a giant, rampaging snake, and 3) she was scared. Scared was bad. Very bad. Especially in a foreign village. In Sora's experience, fear was a very strong emotion, one enough to seep through the seal that usually kept the Raijuu firmly sealed.

Releasing the tree-walking technique, Sora tumbled off roughly of the rushing snake, managing to pull off a roll as she hit the ground to lighten the impact on her body. Even if she had wanted to, the genin probably couldn't have maintained the focus needed to move on such a swift surface. After all, the state of her mind was something along the lines of, She could feel the recognizable shaking deep within her consciousness, mind, being, spirit, whatever that place inside of her was called. The Raijuu had yet to go and cause a ruckus, but Sora could sense it's tenseness. The demon's current state reminded her of a cornered animal hissing threats in preparation for the pounce and frenzy that it'll soon cause. It wasn't the worst that Sora had felt, but she'd rather overreact now and never have the worst happen than take things lightly now and regret it later.

Only now did the genin realize that perhaps charging straight into a high-level battle probably wasn't the best idea. She had briefly forgotten that even if she wasn't a hindrance, she still had an uncontrollable demon within her.

As she tried to calm herself with a repetitive mental mantra, Sora picked herself up into a kneel. Her body had yet to emit the tell-tale sparks and static, she hadn't reached that point yet, but she was obviously scared. Both hands clutched her head as her eyes flicked about nervously across the field. They were trying to find either Yamatano or something that would calm her down. Luckily, the two things were combined into one. She saw Yamatano standing, even if his stance was wobbly and his coughing sounded worrisome. She released her breath, only realizing now that she had been holding it in. Even though she had heard the death threat from Jishaku, just seeing Yamatano alive was a relief.

Taking its host's relief as a cue, the Raijuu also calmed down just a little. Overall, though, it remained on edge. After all, the threat of death lingered.

With the Raiju backed down, Sora let her mind wander away from it. She would need to trust it to not try and force its way out. she reasoned as she stood up from her kneel, Leaving her thoughts at that, Sora ran to Yamatano's side even as she began standing, making no effort to restrain her speed as she usually did. Common sense dictated that she get her butt out of the battle before things got worse for her. However, morals dictated that she help out the staggering Mist ninja. Morals won.

Upon reaching her destination, Sora did what she could to help steady and support the larger chuunin. She knew no jutsus to help him but maybe just having a helping hand would do something positive. Respecting his higher rank, she made no suggestions. Although, she did have the nagging feeling that it would probably be best if he retreated with her, preferably with all the metal that the other white-haired boy just dropped. She was fairly certain that she heard something about Jishaku controlling metal. Leaving metal lying around near a metal user could not be a good thing.User Image

Kensei stopped running in his tracks as he saw the Shinobi called 'Shinji' go beserk on Jishaku, along with the snake rampaging in the same direction. To make matters worse Yamatano was hit by a very effective raiton jutsu and tossed aside like a ragdoll. Luckily Sora ran to try and help him. Kensei shortly ran over towards them, mostly leaping over pieces of rubble and trying not to trip in any holes to try and assiast. By the time he reached the two he checked on Yamatano as his coughing sounded terrible. "You better sit this out for a while man." Kensei said while trying to help the man stand up properly. "At least until the effects of the jutsu wears off." He looked out into the battlefield again and focused on the new comer. "What's the deal with this guy?" Kensei asked as he saw nothing but chakra coming from Shinji. Whatever his problem was it most likely had something to do with Jishaku, which was alright with Kensei.

As David's second attempt to trap him ensued, he wondered how stupid or even slow the boy thought he was. As he had taken the time to analyze the boy's speed with his first use of the jutsu, he'd determined that as it were David was simply slower than him, no bones about it. The sand rope technique tended to move at a slightly slower pace than the person who initiated it, and by what he had seen it wouldn't have been hard for him to simply move the first time he tried it. In essence, Jishaku was faster than the ropes, or rather fast enough to allow his fingers to magnetically pop the flap on the pouch open and release four shuriken before it became restrained. It was then that his whole body was forced backwards albeit at more than a surprise to the man, however his composure was gained instantly as he realized his current physical position was optimal for the now open pouch. As two fell out on their own, Jishaku pulled two more out of the pouch with magnetism, allowing the first one to cut his right hand free as well as the rope holding his neck, and the rest flew across the man's chest in order to quickly relieve him of those sand ropes.

However, the maneuver was not without fault. His left hand remained pinned as the rope he assumed would be cut in a moment, was restrained by what grew into a sand arm. Opting for a defensive standpoint for the current time being, the man used his free hand to force one seal which caused sand around his person to cling to him in quick succession, compacting and changing color to fit how the man looked. It was lucky for him that the improved sand armor did not require a different set of seals, so much as a higher output of chakra for it to gain its attack defenses. It seemed the effort was in time as Shinji simply disappeared from view with little if any trace at all. He then appeared suddenly, his fist coming into full view. His chest was struck head on, the armor absorbing that first attack and instantly reacting with shards of sand instantly being released towards the boy's arm and face. At this moment, Jishaku's free hand moved across his chest in an effort to block what he was positive came next, the damaged armor on his arm only holding up from his forearm down. His attempted parry compared to the speed of the second attack was not up to par however, resulting in a strike at sheer luck as his outer forearm which was in motion made contact with the next fist albeit clumsily, the armor which was left once more sending shards of sand towards the boy's arms and face. The force of the second attack was as brutal as the first, and the minimal amount of armor left did only enough to allow his body to instantly be rocketed back with the sand arm itself snapping with the force of the hit, his formless body skipping across the desert ground for twenty feet before he was able to regain balance and skid to a halt with his good arm.

As his formerly captured arm had not dealt with the brunt of the former attack, it was alright. His right however, was dripping blood and dislocated besides the bandage wrap having been singed off slightly. In short he was panting and a bit flustered considering the situation. Deciding enough was enough, magnetically he removed two small bombs with a storage seal kanji on each of them. Pressing each one with his left hand and dropping them into the sand, it wasn't long until they both detonated leaving the man covered in a cloud of what looked to be black dust. After a moment however, the dust settled and began to swirl around his ankles in a circular fashion as he took the moment to pop his shoulder back into place and reform the armor, a grunt behind gritted teeth audibly heard. He was tired of playing tag with David and clearly by his last actions he took Jishaku about as seriously as he'd take a genin. And he really didn't enjoy wasting time with the Shinji kid whose abilities still remained a mystery to the man. It was a pity to Jishaku really, for Shukaku to have to work so hard to keep himself alive because his vessel took his abilities for granted. As the iron sand swirled he called out to David saying, "Kid, your day is about to get worse."

Jutsu Used: Panku Suna no Yoroi [Bursting Sand Armor]
Rank: B
Type: Ninjutsu | Defensive/Offensive
Element: Sand
Units: 5
Prerequisites: Sand Armor
Description:
This is an improved version of the sand armor. Instead of simply blocking damage from affecting the users body the armor now actually ‘fights back’. When a blow against the armor is struck instead of simply cracking the armor bursts outward sending sharp shards of concentrated sand directly back at the attacker. The user has no control over how the shards fly but it is extremely difficult and dangerous to attack a person using this skill unless done from a distance. This burst comes at a cost of D ranked chakra for every burst, on top of the repairs needed to the armor afterwards. Besides the added ability, this jutsu retains the same specifications as the original Sand Armor.

David scowled as despite the power he'd been hit with (Any normal man would have practically every bone in their body shattered from those hits.) Jishaku managed to pull himself back to his feet yet again. And not only that, he'd brought out something new. If he was to guess, going back over everything he'd heard recently, that would be the iron sand. And then of course he started with the talking again. It seemed every time that man opened his mouth it only annoyed David further. Rather reminiscent of the old kazekage actually. She had been weaker than she claimed too.

"Yamatano, Kensei. Take the genin and get back." David spoke, never taking his eyes from Jishaku, though also keeping his stance relaxed, as if he still didn't deem the man a threat. And he didn't. Not to himself at any rate. It would be nigh on a miracle if the man managed to hurt him at all, and killing him would be impossible. But he was still a danger to the village at large, and he had made a direct attack on himself. That wasn't something he could let pass. Getting the foreigners out of the way would allow some... More interesting tactics than he could use otherwise. "Shinji, can you keep his attention for a bit? I think it's time to give him what he's after. He was mildly concerned about that choice. Shinji was undoubtedly the strongest here, probably even stronger than himself or Jishaku, but those techniques he used seemed to take a toll on his body. Hopefully that toll wouldn't bring him down before the end of this.

With that said, and trusting Shinji to do his part, David let his attention slip away from reality, turning inwards and focusing on his chakra. And the chakra hidden deep below that. He'd never done this before, so it should certainly be interesting, if difficult to control. As he focused, the sand around his feet rose up, swirling around him like a miniature sandstorm, rising, falling, lashing out and cutting scars across the surface of the desert, even as it drew more in. It would certainly be interesting, seeing what it was like to let the Ichibi's power run free.

I've been stubborn and didn't want to do this unless forced, but, David really has little else to use in combat against high powered enemies, and I just sort of want to end this now.

With his mind entirely focused on destroying the foe in front of him, it would be hard for any outsider to truly understand what was and wasn't registering to Shinji in the battle. As his first hand plummeted into his opponent, the sand armor and the shards it sent out toward him had almost no effect on him. His arms wrapped in the destructive raw chakra of his bloodline would instantly tear apart any shard of sand which made contact with it, giving the shards to chance to strike his arm, or much anything else around his chest. The explosive force of the blast alone created an almost shield-like protrusion between himself and the enemy, buffeting him from any blow-back from the target he sought to demolish. His second attack would act in much the same way, though to be fair, Shinji didn't even bother to register the effect of his first attack before delivering his second. The fact merely remained that his target was still present near him and would be hit accordingly.

With his second strike connecting with his target once more, the more desired effect took place as Shinji watched his target fly away from him at great speed, likely leaving it destroyed. Shinji had no intention however of waiting to see if that was the case. He was only waiting for his feet to hit the ground before following up his attack with yet another before the target had a chance to recover. His rage fueling him, Shinji was focused on nothing more but his enemy flying away from him, ready to give pursuit, which made it all the more confusing when he suddenly lost sight of all else around him and felt an immense crushing pressure on his body. surrounded by darkness once more, Shinji did not have the senses of the area around him to properly analyze the scene around him. The warm moist environment of the snake summon's mouth engulfing him would barely register through the pain coursing through his body... and though the pain was great, even that did not register to him through the rage induced haze his mind had locked him into.

In the darkness however, Shinji's mind took over as the scene of Iwagakure's destruction once again flashed before his eyes. Once again, Shinji found himself amid the destruction of his village, hearing the screams of the innocent flood the streets as he tried to frantically save those he could. as he ran towards one group of huddled women and children however, he watched in horror as a building above them collapsed, the rock and stone of the building crumbling down upon the group as their world was crushed, placing them in darkness. The event was so real in Shinji's mind that the scene itself that he could feel it happening to him and his body immediately reacted as his fist was engulfed in his chakra once more. Striking up at the rubble which had buried him in his mind, Shinji sought to destroy the prison which had closed him in darkness, and hopefully save those who had been crushed with him.

His fist striking the upper pallet of the snake which had swallowed him, the raw chakra of his bloodline exploded forth, tearing a hole through the soft tissue of the snake's mouth, breaking the darkness of light filtered back into Shinji's world, creating a way to escape. Leaping through the hole he had created, Shinji was unaware of the bloody mess he was now covered in as pieces of the snake's flesh dripped and fell off him after his messy escape from the snake's mouth. All he registered was that he was now back on the field of battle, his enemy still standing before him. As his feet hit the ground, Shinji's mind created the image of the fallen he had failed to save from the rubble which had crushed them all around him. Rage filling his body, fueling his pain once more, Shinji looked up to see streams of what looked like ashen dust clouds explode from the ground to swirl around his opponent.

Darkness flickered through his mind once more as his mind receded again into the memory of his village being destroyed around him... the memory now tainted by mental anguish and trauma, making him feel as if he were there again, now confronting the person responsible for destroying his village. His body fully accepting the illusion set before him, Shinji's blood boiled as he screamed in rage at his target... the cloud of Iron Sand being an exact replica of the 'ashen rain' the village had experienced just prior to it's demise. Shinji had no reaction to anything else around him anymore. The words of his comrades would no longer reach him. The reactions of the snake whose mouth he had escaped from were outside his field of vision. All that remained now was his opponent and the illusion of his village's destruction re-living itself all around him. He could stop Iwa's destruction... all he had to do was destroy the source.

Charging forward towards his opponent, that is exactly what Shinji would seek to do.

6 - 8 : Pain Level 2
9 - 12 : Pain Level 1

Pain Level 4 - The Konaga's pain creates the effect of a burning sensation throughout their circulatory system, which makes it feel like entire body is on fire, this distracts the user and does not allow them to properly mold Ninjutsu.

Pain Level 2 - The Konaga's Pain causes their muscles to ache heavily and respond slower then normal, reducing their effective Speed by one rank.

“Those who dare bring harm to my friends, my village, and my way of life…”

xxxxThe Kyodaija felt very pleased with itself upon swallowing it's prey......until it flicked it's tongue out in glee and discovering that Jishaku was still in the area. But if he were in the area, and there was a person in his mouth.............The kyodaija opened it's jaw to spit out the other human, knowing Yamatano would be mad if he ate anyone unnecessarily.

The snake's jaw was barely open, however, before the person inside leapt forward, fist smashing into the edge of the snake's lip, just between the fangs. Rather than making a hole in the snake's mouth, the punch tore off the front part of his jaw. The snake recoiled in pain, as the boy sped toward the target. Filled with a rage brought on by pain, the Kyodaija's priorities of who to eat changed. He wouldn't give the boy the mercy of a quick swallow, he would make sure to bite Shinji in half before eating him.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
.......Or would have, had Yamatano not witnessed the entire spectacle. Still struggling to breathe, Yamatano snapped his fingers, dispelling the Kyodaija back to the Caverns of Hebi. "Forgive me, my friend..." He thought as the snake disappeared, not looking forward to having to face Lord Manda to explain that injury. Yamatano had other things to worry about for now, however, primarily David's command to step back. Ordinarily, Yamatano would continue to fight, but in his current state, he wouldn't be of much use. Throat closing and hidden blades all but useless, Yamatano wouldn't be of much help. All he could do was stay out of David's way for now.
Yamatano stood up, motioning for Kagetsukiko to follow him. "W-where done fo-*cough* for now." He wheezed, jogging away from the main fight. "Get your squad ba-*ack* back together, we need to be ready if things go south." And with that, Yamatano continued towards the marketplace, thoughts swimming with battle plans, anger at Shinji for injuring his Kyodaija, and primarily, where on earth he was going to find water.
Releasing Yamatano, Sora watched with worry as he jogged away by himself, However, she did as she was told and waved over at Kensei while calling for his attention, "Kensei! Here, this way!". She had already began backing away in the direction Yamatano had gone as she called.
Bad move. She slipped on the copious amounts of sand and fell down right on her back with a surprised, "Oof!". After her little trip, she just rolled backwards back onto her feet and jogged towards wherever Yamatano was headed herself.
Kensei sighed after hearing the order to leave. "Fine I guess." Kensei said as he slowly backed away. He looked towards Laxus direction and whistled to get his attention. He motioned for Laxus to follow and to get to a safe area. Kensei vaulted over a piece of wall before leaving the area.
Grinning at David's request Jishaku muttered aloud, "It's about time." Turning his attention over towards Shinji he rocketed off towards him as the others began to retreat, he noticed the boy was a lot slower this time around. He contemplated just killing the boy, however that was not in his agenda for the day. He'd already destroyed Iwa, there was no need to nitpick at the bits and pieces of it that managed to stay alive. However, the boy was quite the problem. "You're annoying. Suna Ouchi," he said nonchalantly as Shinji drew near. As the sand continued to swirl and Shinji got within sixteen feet of the man, he'd find himself falling into a pit five feet deep. The depth would not allow for Shinji's arms to be above the sand should he have been caught, and the moment the pit was created before Shinji got within range, the boy's dropped metallic weapons totaling ten kunai and twenty shuriken rocketed right where the boy was to hopefully get caught, their speed as expected matching that of their controller to deliver what would be near fatal wounds from the shoulders up.
He then dropped another bomb onto the ground under him, more iron sand bursting out and assimilating with the rest that swirled around him.
Jutsu Used: Suna Ouchi [Sand Pit]
Rank: D (+2 Elemental Control)
Type: Ninjutsu | Offensive/Defensive
Element: Sand
Units: 20
Description:
With this technique a user creates a circle of soft sand with them in the center. The user remains above the sand by having two solid masses of it just beneath the feet. Anyone who steps into the circle will sink almost immediately up to their waist, making it difficult to move around freely. The user of this technique then has the option to make the sand pull people under completely, hold them in place, or simply do another technique. Victim’s arms will typically remain above the sand and they are far from helpless. If the user moves from where they stand, the sand will return to its normal state, or alternately the user may force it to return to normal whenever they wish. The pit is about eight feet across, and three deep. It can be expanded in either direction by sacrificing length one way or the other, or at a cost of D ranked chakra per foot.
