Yamono Miyu Medical Shinobi | Support | Elemental Control (Katon) | Mind's Eye of the Kagura | Genin After a brief nod, her companion was off. Miyu sprinted after the woman, making sure to keep a steady pace behind her until the building was found. Twists and turns through narrow alleys and piles of rubble turned the serious Miyu back into a reflective state. It is lucky these people were found at all...many would not bother to check back into this part of the village. Despite the inner thoughts, Miyu managed to keep up and swifty follow the woman to the site of the injured. It was not hard to see that the building was on the verge of collasping. Sneaking into the opening behind Kye, Miyu could sense the inner danger from the damage within. Time was of the essence to stabilize and move the parties from this building.
Miyu knelt down next to the woman who had tried to raise up before. "It's very important that you lie still..." she said softly, urging the woman to relax. "Just keep breathing as evenly as you can." Miyu's small hands began to float over the woman's body. This pattern was to diagnos any unseen injuries. As she concentrated on each part of the body she looked for any signs of weakness, trauma, or broken bones. These irregularities would assist in what treatment plan she would administer. It also helped in assuring any fatal mistakes were not made.
The sound of metal above her made her delve into an even more serious state. The groans of the building were unsettling to her as she was sure they were for the patient as well. She had seen the outside of the structure and only made her mind race over the possibility that it may collaspe on her while she was inside. When she had been asked to risk her life Miyu had never imagined the reality of it being so true. Even her heightened awareness of death made her empathic with the patient who must be feeling the same thoughts as Miyu.
Her eyes turned up to Kye who was concentrating on Miyu's technique. Miyu was sure she was expecting an answer and an action to remove the woman from the home. Knowing that her patient was expecting the same answer as to her condition, Miyu returned her gaze to her. "You are internally stable, no bleeding or damage. Your collar bone and several ribs are broken. You cannot be moved until we have them immobilized and supported. You may experience some pain while deep breathing so try to just relax and breath as evenly as you can."
Miyu started to move her hands behind her back to her medical bag hidden beneath her red obi. She had some elastic bandages that would help keep the ribs supported. She would also need an arm sling for the woman's arm so she could not further damage her broken collar bone. As Miyu glanced to Kye once more she noticed the stacks of stone build up in the middle of the room. The bloodstains on them heightened the urgency for the rest of the victims in the building. "I will wrap her torso with these bandages and make a sling as well to keep her arm in place. Once that is finished, she is free to be escorted out of the building. I need to get on to those of the highest priority first...anyone bleeding or barely conscious." Miyu held the bandages in her hands and spoke again, "I will need you to lift her to a sitting position and hold her steady while I wrap her. I can stabilize her as you move her up. Once the bandages are in place that should be all she needs. Don't move her too quickly but gently as well not to displace any bones."
Shindan (Diagnosis) Description: The first step in treatment is understanding the problem. With this skill a shinobi uses their hands to carefully probe a patient for problems. This technique is preformed by kneeling over a patient and slowly running both hands over their body, looking for signs of injury that may not be visible to the naked eye. It can detect things such as internal injury, improper heart rate, non-apparent bone fractures, poisoning, and disease. A ninja of higher rank has learned to use this technique to perform a rudimentary examination of a body to determine cause and time of death. A Genin using this skill takes several minutes of work to determine the nature of a problem, a Chuunin takes less than a minute and a Jounin requires only a few seconds.

Oniwa Kye| Satetsu | Speed/Combo | Otogakure | Kage ||| Shinobi Profession: Taijutsu Specialist || RPC Profile || Watching Miyu as she worked, Kye was reminded of just how far removed she was from medical training. Her entire life had been based on power, her ability to protect herself, to prove herself through force, to protect and defend others through strength... she honestly had very little understanding of what Miyu was doing beyond what she had learned on bloody battlefields. It was clear that despite being young, Miyu had been well trained, at least in general medical knowledge and how to triage patients. Distracted for a moment, Kye looked up at the ceiling as she felt the structures above pushing down on the barriers she had placed between them and the rest of the building and without a single movement, reinforced them again, buying more time... but it would not last forever.
Snapping back to the situation at hand, Kye responded by nodding to Miyu as she gave orders as to how she could help and who they should attend to first. Placing her hands underneath the woman, Kye slowly lifted her to a sitting position with her right arm and held her still so that Miyu could stabilize her and prepare her to be escorted away from the building. "There are three others as well, one is around the corner... he's probably the worst off... I had to remove several large pieces of stone from on top of him and he is bleeding badly and was unresponsive, but still breathing. I wrapped him with a bit of green cloth I had on my person and tried to apply pressure to stop the bleeding, but I'm afraid I was unable to help beyond that. The others aren't as critical, but they have wounds greater then this woman's. "
"Time is of the essence however... we need to make their movement our first priority. We can fully heal and bandage them later, but this building will not hold much longer, I can feel it." Everything was dependent on speed here and it was one of the few times Kye was bound by someone else's speed rather then her own. Kye didn't want to reveal herself in any way to anyone... but it began to be clear to her that in an emergency situation, she might have no choice. Time would tell however... she would just have to hope all would go well.Currently Wearing : Chakra Shroud + Casual Outfit

Yamono Miyu Medical Shinobi | Support | Elemental Control (Katon) | Mind's Eye of the Kagura | Genin Miyu's small hands worked quickly to bandage the woman's torso. Kye's words only reinformed the urgency of the situation. Time was not on their side and Miyu would have to step up the pace if she wanted to effectively remove the remaining three patients from the building. She knew that with each passing minute the weight of the ceiling was piling down on the metal braces - which seemed on the brink collasping with large groans filling the air around them. Her golden eyes looked to Kye and her voice spoke out, "You can set her outside in a safe place. The elastic will be enough to allow her breathing to be stable," she looked to the woman who had tears in her eyes as she looked at the other three men in the building, "Do not move your arm or your shoulder. Keep it close to your body. We will get all of you out safely, so just focus on your breathing." Turning back to Kye she said with the same urgency, "I will be able to diagnos the other three, but will need your help in getting them stabilized to move. If we are to do this quickly but effectively, I will need your assistance."
Breathing was a technique to focus on in so many situations. Miyu learned it from her parents who passed away. As she was focusing on her own breathing, Miyu could smell the scent of the blood from the more injuried parties. She did not wait for Kye to respond to her before moving over to the most injured victim. He was breathing but not concious. It was common for the human body to shut down and sleep in order to heal at it's peak. The downfall of this method was that if it was unable to heal quickly enough, the rest of the systems would shut down and the life would be lost. Miyu spread her hands over the body of the man, noticing the bandages that Kye had placed. The leg of the man was the worst wound sustain on the outside. Miyu could see the pool of blood that covered the wound, making it hard for the naked eye to see the full extent. However, with her jutsu, Miyu could certainly tell the wound was deep. The building had cracked the femur bone leaving the man unable to walk. Miyu would not be able to stabilize him by simply wraping or splinting it. The pain of moving him would wake him up and send his body into shock.
In addition to the broken leg, Miyu noticed that his lower internal organs were out of position, causing the body's own healing process to be slower. They were pushed back against his spine and need to be smoothed out. His condition was by far the worst she had seen personally in this tradegy. Still, she knew that he would need the most attention. With this thought, she decided that since his breathing was normal - she would diagnos the other two. In this process, it would be quicker to move the others and leave the dying patient for last. Time truly was of the essence, and while it would seem backward the way she would attend to the others, it would in fact save more time. Saving two rather than one was more advantageous than allowing everyone to be crushed in the same manner this man was.
Miyu hoped over to the other two against the wall just as Kye returned. Miyu sensed her chakra coming back in so she spoke without looking to her, "That man is badly injured. Too bad for us to even think about moving him without the proper techniques. I can preform them but priorities of time, as you said, are of the essence. It is safer to diagnos these two and move them out then perform the necessary techniques to move the other. His femur is broken and he is insides are twisted. Let us first focus on two, then focus on one."
All of this was spoken at the same time she brushed her hands over the third patient of the day. He had a head injury that was bleeding, his brain was beginning to swell. He was also in critical condition but able to be moved as long as his head was supported. It would be better if he were lying down in fact. "I need you to stay awake, whatever you do. Do you know the alphabet? Please begin reciting it slowly..." This was also a technique, similar to breathing, that she had learned in her early years as an academy student. Patients who needed to be awake would have to stimulate their minds. If the man was allowed to sleep, his change of comatosing was high.
The man slowly started his ABC's when she placed her hands on the last patient. She turned to Kye, "This man needs to be lying down...but he is not allowed to sleep. His neck and head need to be supported and immobilized. I don't have a neck brace in my bag of tricks, so we'll need to improvize..."

Oniwa Kye| Satetsu | Speed/Combo | Otogakure | Kage ||| Shinobi Profession: Taijutsu Specialist || RPC Profile || Wasting no time as Miyu finished bandaging the woman and securing her arm in a sling to keep it from moving, Kye effortlessly lifted the woman off the ground with only one arm (her right) and cradled her close to her midsection so she would be pressed against her, making it harder fro her to move. Moving through the collapsed structure with the woman was harder, but Kye's speed and precision of movement made the feat no issue as she was quickly able to navigate out of the structure without jerking the woman around. In the end, it was Kye's incredible strength which made the feat effortless, as she was barely strained at all to hold the woman as she finally breached the crumbling building. Walking a fair distance from the building so the woman would be safe even if it fell, Kye laid her down on the street gently. "You're outside now, you're safe. Don't move. We will be back for you."
After leaving her, Kye re-entered the building, winding her way through the structure much more quickly this time, as by now she had almost completely memorized the layout of the structure. as she stepped into the room, she was surprised to hear Miyu speak to her without turning around. For most people, it would not be so strange... but Kye was a Kage, a master shinobi... her footsteps were nigh untraceable while moving. For a Genin to recognize that she had entered the room without even seeing her was quite remarkable... "This girl must be a sensor.." Ignoring the revelation for now, Kye listened to her carefully as she explained the situation. As she had feared, the man she had attended to was in rather critical condition and would require time to heal... more time then they probably had. The others however would be manageable.
As she approached, she watched and listened to Miyu diagnose another of the victims, telling this one to stay still and begin reciting the alphabet. Kye had seen such things in the field before, though admittedly her memories of such actions were set against a much bloodier backdrop then the current. Her mind briefly retreating to such phrases being spoken as she stood guard over the wounded before she was snapped back to reality and was asked to find something to keep the man's head stable. Not knowing what would be needed, Kye pulled out several of the scrolls she was carrying along with some metal wire and scavenged a few pieces of metal piping she saw around the room and brought them to Miyu, "This is all I have... I have no idea what else you might need."
In Kye's mind it didn't matter what Miyu did, as long as she stabilized him even a little bit, the man would be completely unable to move on the way out. Kye already had plans to wrap him in a cocoon of Iron Sand to stabilize and levitate him out of the building. The man was barely even conscience and thus would not even notice the manner in which he was being carried out. Besides, Kye was a good actor, she could "carry" the man out and make it look real enough even to a casual observer.Currently Wearing : Chakra Shroud + Casual Outfit

Yamono Miyu Medical Shinobi | Support | Elemental Control (Katon) | Mind's Eye of the Kagura | Genin As Miyu finished up her diagnosis jutsu, she looked down to the pile of miscelanous items now piled at her feet. She thought only for a moment, I am some sort of master craftsman now? but folded her hands briefly after that moment. The man next to this man was bleeding from a few wounds made from falling debris. He looked more serious than he was. A concussion plus a broken wrist from the weight of his fall was the worst of his injuries. Miyu could sense a pinched nerve in his back, likely sustain when a piece of rubble struck him, causing a lot of tension and shootingp ains. Still, he was stable to be moved, but would need to be done so smoothly not to cause his already shooken brain to be traumatized to a worsened state.
"This last man has a concussion and a pinched nerve his in back. He is safe to move but needs to be done so carefully. We wouldn't want to turned the pinched vertebre into his spinal cord. He will need to be wrapped as well, but we can do that outside...just as long as he remains in a sitting position he should be fine." Her folded hands because to pick up the items at her feet. Scrolls, metal pipes, and some wire. It would work until they could get something more conforming. Miyu lined up three of the metal pipes vertically. This would be the base for her brace as she wrapped them together with the metal wire. She placed it on the back of the man's head, sliding it down to the base of his neck where his shoulders sat. This would keep his head from tilting back and forward. The man's voice started to fade out as he reached L...M...N... "O...P...keep going," after Miyu's words his voice was a little stronger. She wrapped a scroll around his neck and lower face. It was certainly not perfect, but the best she could come up with in such a short notice - and with what little supplies she had. She took another pipe and laid it across his forehead and fashioned it to the back pieces with another wire. It was not as tight as she had hoped, but she could do no more.
"I can stabilize him with a jutsu but it will not last long...long enough for you to get out of the building and lay him down. With the pipe resting on his shoulders, turning his head won't be an issue." She began the necessary preformance to Ichimei Hoyou no Jutsu, a life preserving technique that allowed him to be completely normal if only for a few minutes. It was good enough until they were able to get him more permanent medical help. Miyu suddenly began to realize that her training needed to be increased. Her limitations were obvious in emergency situations like this. She took a silent vow that as soon as she was able, she would focus more on learning new techniques. After she finished her hand seals, she looked to Kye, "I will have to preform this same technique on the man behind us. It's the only way to move him. These two are ready...let's get them out of here before..." a long groan of the building cut her voice off before she can finish. The sentence didn't need an ending, the sound was enough to let them both know what she would have said.

Oniwa Kye| Satetsu | Speed/Combo | Otogakure | Kage ||| Shinobi Profession: Taijutsu Specialist || RPC Profile || Miyu didn't seem to be too happy with the materials Kye had presented to her to use, but honestly, what else could she expect? Kye was not a trained medical professional, so she didn't know what a 'neck brace' would look like or what one would construct one out of. She had gathered materials which were hard and could support someone and some materials to tie them all together. Without saying a word, Kye waited patiently for Miyu to figure out what to do, but was impressed with how much the young girl was able to do with such an improvised set of materials in a short time. As Miyu attended to the people, Kye began to look upwards with a bit of concern. the structures she had put in place to hold the building up were beginning to fail and she could feel that they would survive much longer.
Her attention brought back to Miyu when she began speaking to her again, Kye was ready to follow the plans the girl was laying out until the building groaned once more, causing both parties to look up to the inevitable collapse of the structures weighing down above them. Knowing that they wouldn't have time for both of them to leave and come back and still save the last man, Kye was quick to act. "We don't have time for the both of us to leave and come back. I will transport these two safely outside while you take care of the man around the corner. When I return, hopefully you'll have stabilized him and we can bring him out together."
Directing Miyu to her task, more or less expecting for her to follow orders without arguing, Kye started with the man wearing the improvised neck brace. without a word, surrupticiously under her cloak, particles of Iron Sand wrapped as armor around her reformed into a structure which would serve as a second 'arm' concealed underneath her cloak. Kye was able to lift the man easily, positioning her right arm under the man's shoulders, while using her elbow to partially support his head while her constructed arm lifted the man's lower back up, but still remained concealed under the cloak. The man's legs dangled down to the ground, but this would be good enough to get him into the other room where Miyu could no longer see them. Carrying him around the corner, Kye laid him down and then went back for the other man, lifting him with one arm as directed so that he remained in an upward sitting position as Miyu had directed, his body leaning into Kye's as she carried him into the next room and out of Miyu's sight.
Once she was clear of the loosely crumbled structures which acted as a wall between her and Miyu, a stream of Iron Sand flowed from the construct arm she had created, controlled merely by Kye's own will. The particles of Iron Sand flowed like a stream of black dust, moving underneath the man with the brace as they formed together to create a stretcher underneath the man. Within seconds, the platform of Iron Sand had begun to levitate, lifting the man from the ground while keeping him completely still in his braces. Sending the levitating platform ahead of her, Kye directed and followed it through the winding structures of the crumbling building slowly while dodging the same obstacles herself carrying the man. "X, Y, Z", could be heard softly as the man got to the end of the alphabet he had been asked to recite... "Keep going" Kye said to the man as they were getting closer to the outside... "A... B...C..", still barely conscious, the man began reciting from where Kye left off, the words streaming from his mouth like those of a man in a dream... "D...E..."
By the time the man got half way through the alphabet, he would feel the warm sun of the desert climate beat down on him as he breached the crumbling structure, followed soon by Kye as she picked up the pace, pushing the levitating platform to where she had left the woman, lying him down next to her as the Iron Sand particles dissipated, reassembling back into the hollow structure of her weapon and out of sight. Placing the other man down, Kye removed the long spear she on her back and flipped it around, stabbing it downward with great force, digging the weapon deep into the hard desert earth as she propped him up against it to keep him upright. "Don't stop reciting it until I get back." She ordered as she rushed back into the structure, weaving through the crumbled masses of rock to retrieve the final victim and Miyu herself, praying that the building would hold long enough for her to join them in case something catastrophic occurred.Currently Wearing : Chakra Shroud + Casual Outfit

Yamono Miyu Medical Shinobi | Support | Elemental Control (Katon) | Mind's Eye of the Kagura | Genin Miyu was not going to argue with Kye at this point. If she could get them both out of the building with Miyu performed a stabilizing technique on the man - Miyu would take that chance. Saving all lives was ideal, but Miyu had prepared that the man who was worse off may be sacrificed. It was not a thought one should have but Miyu was a realist. Now that the opportunity to get them all out safely had been made she would certainly do her best. She had seen Kye start to lift the man with the brace as she moved away from the man propped against the wall. Her priorities were set on the man who was teetering between life and death.
Miyu paid no mind to Kye as she got the two men out the door. Despite the level of chakra one put forth, Miyu did not underestimate brute strength. It was ever so apparent that Kye was a warrior. If it was not by stature and appearance alone it was certainly evident in her voice and actions. It was Miyu's lack of ability that was become ever so appearent as well. With only a few jutsus under her belt, she felt quite inadequate next to a woman who was doing all the brute work. Even without a single use of a jutsu she somehow felt this woman was wise beyond her chakra level. Miyu's thought came to mind as her hands worked their magic of a seal to preform Ichimei Hoyou no Jutsu. She looks old..., this was Miyu's comparrison to her own age, How can she have such a low level of chakra?
The man beside her began to groan awake as the technique was making him feel as though he were reviving from this horrible state. "Please, do not move! You will only be stable for a few minutes. You need to lie still and continue to breath...focus on nothing else!" The pain would not return until the jutsu was over but Miyu feared if he tried to take advantage of his new found "strength" he would work the jutsu perhaps out of his system. Chakra was merely pulsing over his insides, making breathing and bloodflow easier. Any internal damage was being slowly helped at this moment now but it was nothing but a "quick fix". Miyu somehow cursed her lack to be able to heal him at least temporarily.
Kye re-entered the room. Miyu had hardly noticed her leave. Turning her golden eyes up she spoke, "He is ready to be moved." The building gave another groan from it's top and a rumble came from the stones colliding together. The building was not stable enough to remain inside any longer. Miyu could only imagine the wall of the building next door giving way and pushing the collasped building to it's doom. Miyu stood, knowing that Kye would move them more swiftly than herself (from the experience she had seen already).

Oniwa Kye| Satetsu | Speed/Combo | Otogakure | Kage ||| Shinobi Profession: Taijutsu Specialist || RPC Profile || Turning the corner, Kye breathed an internal sigh of relief to see that the structure had not collapsed on the others yet and was glad to hear that the man was ready to be moved. Just as she was about to move however, she heard the same groans of the building that Miyu did when suddenly a fragment of the crumbling structure above them began to fall. A chunk of stone about 3 feet around was about to crush their remaining survivor, giving Kye no time to play around. Moving with incredible speed that Miyu had no chance of tracking with her eyes, Kye almost instantaneously disappeared from where she was, arriving next to the man in enough time to bat the stone fragment falling towards him to the side with incredible force. Kye's strike was so vicious that not only was the stone fragment deflected, but shattered into several pieces which struck the walls of the structure they were in, crashing into them to cause even more damage.
Swooping down to pick up the man as gently as she could with only one arm in her hastened state, Kye showed no signs of worry or stress, but the urgency of her voice would reflect her internal feelings... "We're out of time... let's move." Waiting for Miyu to move, Kye hugged the man close to her body with the one arm and would follow behind immediately and would shadow her movements so that she could keep them all safe if need be. Whether or not Miyu would at this point notice that Kye had only ever used her right arm in almost all circumstances, or that she in fact lacked a left arm, Kye was unsure, but now escape was of the utmost importance.
{{Just for fun, let's mix this up. The escape from the building will consist of two posts from each of us. I will roll a 6-sided die with this post... Any even numbered roll will give us a safe post to move further through the structure as it falls around us... An odd roll will give us an obstacle we have to overcome, a cave-in, a trip over debris, a path blocked off... something like that. My roll on this post will signify what will happen in your first post, a roll on your post will signify what happens on my following post, etc. Feel free to make the circumstances as dire as you wish.}}Currently Wearing : Chakra Shroud + Casual Outfit

Yamono Miyu Medical Shinobi | Support | Elemental Control (Katon) | Mind's Eye of the Kagura | Genin The stream of action was a blur to Miyu. Mentally the mind could block out certain extreme experiences out of shock. Miyu seemed to only notice the shattering block that had about crushed the two of them. Looking to her side she saw Kye with the man in just one arm. Taking a deep breath Miyu knew she needed to focus instead of trying to piece together what had just happened. She could replay the scene once they were safe.
Despite trying to focus though, the thought crept into her mind. She only has one arm...I didn't notice before...a speed shinobi? Surely I would have seen her move...did I really just relapse this? Miyu was not convinced that she had merely blocked out the scene because of shock. She had seen many other tradegies that she could remember vividly...why this? Miyu began to move within her confused thought towards the end of the room. The structure was starting to rain down fine sand and dirt upon them as they swiftly headed for the exit. As they were about to head through to the corridor leading outside, another stone piece fell - this time piling up upon several other stones that had previous fallen. Their path was blocked without moving the stones. Time to move them did not exist. They were twice as big as the pile in the middle of the room that Kye assumedly moved before and they were wedged together as if to say they were not going to budge.
Up and over would have been a simple feat for the two nin if they did not have a dead-weight companion with them. She began to look around, "I guess we'll have to find another exit."

Oniwa Kye| Satetsu | Speed/Combo | Otogakure | Kage ||| Shinobi Profession: Taijutsu Specialist || RPC Profile || Following behind Miyu, the two were making good progress, but when they reached the final corridor, luck would bid them no further as a rain of debris blocked their path. Her first reaction being to kick the debris out of the way, a quick survey of the surroundings revealed that it might disable the structure even further and rain down the entirety of the building upon them. Clearly, force could no longer be used to solve their problems. Looking around, Kye was able to find an alternate route, but it was littered with smaller debris blocking the path. Fortunately, it was merely individual pieces of stone that could be moved without sacrificing the structure of their surroundings.
Backtracking a bit to access this new area, Kye began kicking large pieces of rock out of the way, but she quickly called to Miyu for her to help. "Over here, there is another path, but we need to clear these rocks... Hurry!" Though her tone was calm amidst the danger, the urgency of her command would ring through loud and clear. However, as the order came from behind Miyu, more of the structure gave way as the pathway between Kye and Miyu was suddenly clogged as a large beam of wood fell from the ceiling above them, cutting off half of the pathway between the two as dust kicked up and filled the air, blocking their vision, leaving them unable to breath in the thick fog.
Kye responded immediately by holding her breath amidst the destruction, but without the ability to give an order to Miyu, or see her, she had to assume the young girl would find a way to her as she began clearing rocks out of the way so they could take the new route to the exit. Keeping her mind on the task at hand, Kye had no fear that they would escape, but she was secretly hoping that she would not have to reveal her Jiton powers to enable it.Currently Wearing : Chakra Shroud + Casual Outfit

Yamono Miyu Medical Shinobi | Support | Elemental Control (Katon) | Mind's Eye of the Kagura | Genin Many choose the medical profession because of the envirnoment. A cool office environment, comfortable clothes, a high-status, good pay; all of these were perks to being a medical shinobi. Of course, there was a downside for those who were lowly genin such as herself. She was the brunt of the dirty work. She felt this weight now more than ever. Miyu coughed and gag between short breaths as she lowered herself to the floor. Beneath the smog she could take an intake of breathe more clearly than before. It is just my luck... she thought. Dirty and collasping builds were not necessarily her 'thing'. Raised in high society, Miyu was one to keep a spotless air about her. Of course, when it came to task such as the one at hand - she would have to get her hands dirty. Not exactly Miyu's idea of a pinic.
Still, with the aires of a lady that she could muster, she began to act. She could feel the two chakra patterns of both Kye and her patient. They were safe so she had no reason to worry unnecessarily. She needed to clear the path and hope that the two would otherwise make it out safely. The jutsu she performed would not last long with the delays she was suddenly recieving. "I'm alright," she shouted, "I can get by, just clear the path and I'll be along behind you!" Miyu looked at her small, well manicured hands, and began to lift the smaller rubble out of the way - tossing them meekly behind her. She was a small girl, a child one would say, so any small opening would be enough for her to slip through. She was not as powerful in strength as Kye was so merely kicking the rocks aside was not something she was capable of. Sure, she could hold her own in a sparring match, but Miyu was not one to face head-to head combat. Physical strength was not a priority on the support type's list.
As soon as she could see through to the otherside, once the dust had settled somewhat, she began to crawl her way through. Now not only were her hands dirty, so was her sparkling white kimono. Dirt and grime clinged to her as if she were calling to it to smother her smooth skin. Her head popped through to the otherside. She began to pull her way through, feeling her body squeeze through the rocks that seemed desirous to crush her small frame. As she pulled her way through, she felt her kimono catch on one of the rocks. Oh no! I'm going to have to rip my favorite kimono!! Miyu was in a dire state of mind. She felt the lowest at this point and now she had to pull through, damaging her clothes. Taking a deep breath, trying to focus only on steady breathing, she began to pull harder.
Sounds of crumbling walls came around her as she looked up. The ceiling started to collaspe and fell all around her. She ducked her head to the side as a stone came tumbling down just mere inches from her head. Breathe, breathe, focus... she kept thinking to herself. Suddenly a sharp pain came shooting through her body. She had avoided the rock that could have ended her life but her adrenaline had kicked in enough for her to miss the metal beams falling to her other side. One such beam had split in half and now stabbed her through and through on her side. She laid back on the ground, knowing not to focus on the pipe. It could not be removed without setting off damage in her body, but it was too big to carry with her - it had her pinned to the floor.
She looked around frantically for Kye, hoping that she had cleared the path enough to escape. She would not curse herself now in thoughts that tried to probe her about her inexperience. She had saved multiple lives, surely she could save herself. "Help?!" she shouted, almost screamed because of the pain coursing within her. It was the only word that came to mind.

Oniwa Kye| Satetsu | Speed/Combo | Otogakure | Kage ||| Shinobi Profession: Taijutsu Specialist || RPC Profile || With the building seconds from collapsing and the dust obscuring her vision of the young girl Miyu, Kye was running out of time and was no longer able to continue forcefully crippling herself. With the dust cloud still blocking the view between the two, Kye released all units of Iron Sand she had on her person and summoned the Iron Sand she had in her weapon not more then 150 ft away outside. In the meantime, the iron Sand she had with her instantly formed into a drill-like construct as it began to spin and plunged itself into the rock pile which blocked her exit. In seconds, the way was clear and Kye was seconds away from exiting the building, when suddenly she heard a soft cry for help amidst the chaos.
By this time, the dust which was kicked up had settled enough for her to catch a brief glimpse of Miyu from her new vantage point, only to see her on the ground, trapped by the jagged end of a broken pipe having pierced her side and pinned her to the ground. Just as the Iron Sand from her weapon arrived, combining with the rest of her Iron Sand, the structure gave way and now large boulders of rock and piles of steel began to fall. Having run out of time, Kye reacted quickly. In an instant, with merely any effort, Kye was able to lock onto the piece of metal which had pierced Miyu and removed it from her, lifting it up out of her body and tossing it aside.
Dodging a large chunk of rock, bringing her nearly to the exit, Kye's last command was to send all ten units of her Iron Sand to Miyu's aid as the black particles of metal and dust weaved through the chaotic landscape of the collapsing building and swarmed her. In seconds, Miyu would find herself encased in a metal cocoon of Iron Sand, watching as the fine particles of metal flowed around her and eventually sealed closed all around her, leaving her in pitch darkness. Leaping from the building just in time before the entrance collapsed completely, Kye found herself under the oppressive heat of the sun once again, as she rushed to remove herself and the man from the area to avoid any additional debris from the building as it completely collapsed and began to rain down rock and stone in the area.
Still inside the collapsing structure, Miyu would be stuck in total darkness, the weight of untold amounts of rock crumbling around her, slamming into the cocoon which formed an almsot paper thin layer between herself and death. Luckily however, Iron Sand was a formidable barrier to even some of the most devastating attacks, and so, she was completely safe inside of Kye's construction. Quickly reaching the area where the other three civilians were, Kye set the man down and then turned to approach the collapsing structure once again. Walking towards the wreckage, Kye had no fear of Miyu's safety, as she could sense her metal cocoon as it remained intact amidst the rubble of the now collapsed building. Dust piled up into the sky and debris was still moving in the area, but everyone was out of danger, even Miyu, and so Kye allowed herself some time to breathe, as she allowed the rubble to settle and the dust to dissipate.
Once the scene had cleared a bit, Kye stuck her hand out and summoned the cocoon of Iron Sand from the wreckage. The stone and debris all around the cocoon initially resisted, but the force of her magnetic pull on the mass of Iron Sand was immense, which allowed it to plow through the rubble and extract itself from the wreckage. The cocoon of Iron Sand arrived at her side immediately as she set it down at her feet and then dismissed it as the particles of Iron Sand began to break down as they flowed in streams back to their places of origin, directed by Kye's will. With light finally breaking into Miyu's world as the particles of Iron Sand dissipated and released her from her cocoon, the first site she would see would be Kye, crouching down over her, her cloak hiding the flow of Iron Sand around her body.
Looking down at her, she was bleeding pretty badly, likely due to the forceful extraction of the metal from her body, and so Kye took the liberty of going into Miyu's patch to pull out some bandaging and covered placed some under and over the wound, applying a bit of pressure to help the bleeding stop. She waited for a bit before speaking, giving time for Miyu to reclaim her senses after having been pierced, shrouded in darkness, and having a building fall all around her, only to appear outside the wreckage in the oppressive heat of the desert, alive. "Not so bad little girl, but you've still got some training ahead of you."Currently Wearing : Chakra Shroud + Casual Outfit

Yamono Miyu Medical Shinobi | Support | Elemental Control (Katon) | Mind's Eye of the Kagura | Genin Trying to focus on her breathing, as she had been taught to do, Miyu could hear the muffled sounds of the structure giving way around her. Her thoughts fluttered to sweet death and how she continue to escape its jaws. Each day in her life she realized that she could have died on a slab years ago when she was a child alongside her parents. Instead, she survived because of the talented medical shinobi in her lost village. With her unique sensing abilities she felt she could be an asset to finding those in trouble...now she seemed to be cut short in such a dream. Despite the gloom in the air as her body still flushed pain through her body, Miyu did not worry that her life may end. Call it a curse. Perhaps it was Kye's demeanor that made her think she would survive or maybe it was instinct.
Keeping her eyes open and not falling into a state of numbness or pain - Miyu tried counting in her mind. If she let her body go numb it would be harder to function at a level necessary to help those before her. For this reason Miyu urged the pain to continue so she knew that she was still alive and conscious. 5...6...7 What seemed like minutes was only seconds. Kye had ripped the pipe from her side, causing a burning pain to the soure ignite. Miyu had no time to react as she was suddenly surrounded by a black darkness. The thought that she had escape death seemed to be shattered as she entered into this cacoon. It could be easily depicted to the mind that she had submitted to the will of the world and had been swallowed up by the beast known as death.
As Miyu's eyes adjusted she could tell this darkness was swirling around her. She was not unconscious or dead because she could still feel the pain. She had stopped counting at this time; obviously trying to regain some control of her surroundings. The sound of destruction was outside and all around her. The chakra that allowed this shield to be placed around her pulsed to keep the sand in shape as the building (despite her knowledge) collasped on top of her. A scream would have been appropriate here but Miyu's mind was too busy trying to figure out where this B-strength chakra power was coming from. Had someone come along to save them? Has the back-up that was suppose to follow Miyu arrived?
No more thoughts would come as Miyu suddenly started to see a glimmer of light burst through the dark cloud. The iron sand disapated away from her as she shielded her eyes from the bright sun of the Suna village landscape. She had been transported outside of the pile of rubble that now stood where the building once was. Squinting to see she saw Kye leaning over her pressing her wound with some bandages. It seemed a blur to Miyu what had just happend, but seemingly without question she accepted her safety. Kye's words came to her as a piercing reminder that she was unskilled to have helped much more than she did in this mini-mission. She laid her head back in the sand without much thought to her hair being mussed. How can I be so short-sighted? She kneels next to me with the same chakra pattern as before and yet...
"How are the patients?" was all she could muster from her confused stated. She knew she could do nothing from this point except stabilize them again if necessary. "Hopefully a crew is on the way..." she thought aloud softly.

Oniwa Kye| Satetsu | Speed/Combo | Otogakure | Kage ||| Shinobi Profession: Taijutsu Specialist || RPC Profile || Looking down at Miyu as Kye did her best to stop the bleeding of the young girl's gaping wound, she thought to herself about just what she might have revealed of herself. Looking around, Kye sensed no presence of metal in the area that would indicate the presence of hidden ANBU, so the odds that an outside source had seen her extraction of the young girl from the wreckage in the cocoon of Iron Sand was essentially nil. However, she wondered what exactly the girl herself would have made of the event.
Surely, she must have wondered what saved her, and she would have seen the shifting structure of the Iron Sand which closed around her. However, how much of that made sense was another question considering she would have been completely in the dark for the majority of the event and then blinded by the sun as the Iron Sand hid itself once more around Kye and inside her weapon. Perhaps the young girl would have wondered how such a thing was possible, or assumed that Kye was the source, but her evidence would be questionable if ever asked.
As Miyu spoke, she still looked a bit dazed and confused amidst the chaos of the situation, a condition which Kye was optimistic about as she finished released the pressure she was applying to the girl's wound to stand up. "Your patients are fine. I will go and make sure the crews are aware of your presence and can assist.' Walking behind where Miyu lay, where the young girl could no longer see her, Kye searched the area with her metal sense and was able to find two small poles of metal amidst the rubble of the collapsed building and reached out to them with her hand. Instantly the metal poles came to her position, levitating in the air, enabling her to stab each one into the ground, creating a leaning post for the man who was suppose to remain upright. re-positioning him from leaning against her weapon, she maneuvered him to the poles and then swung her weapon onto her back and left the scene.
Arriving in the marketplace where the crews were running wild, she made a very impressive act about how she was running from the wreckage where she was able to salvage her grandfather's prize heirloom, the weapon she carried on her back when she saw a series of injured people looking for help. she directed the patrolling medical crews to the area where she had left Miyu and the injured and watched as a crew of medics ran to the area to assist. Kye then disappeared once more into the crowds, blending into the scenery once more as if she had never been in the area.Currently Wearing : Chakra Shroud + Casual Outfit
