One of the free features I believe they are working on is that there can be two other people in charge...or something like that. So Tan doesn't have to be the only one to buy stuff. whee If they do go through with it it will definetly be good. If not I say we charge the Q&F and rant...none of the Q&Fers would mind (mainly since I would tell them not to and since it would be for them as well)

....hmm.. about the siggys...
should we have a two part sig?
one where it shows we belong to the GG guild as a whole and a smaller second part that shows which subguild* we belong to..
since this is a collection of guilds under a united system/goal/mission, I'm sure we all agreed to work together as much as possiable, but at the same time I'm sure we will want to maintain the individual guild indentities we were a part of before the GG...
* I say 'subguild' because really we're all part of the same guild now, the GG, and the GG is really a collection of guilds as I said before.

Good point...
The sig can be a two parted image, or just two images.
The GG part takes them to the actual guild while the division part takes them to the "subguild".

hmm... not sure about having two images..
I was orginally hopeing for a two parted image as our sig.
With an image mag, if at all possible.
I'm not sure what the final sig will look like but I was thinking of something like having the GG logo in the background partly covered with the logo of whatever subguild you belonged to, with the image map on it, with the GG logo linked to the main/opening page of the guild (that page that you use to dotate to the guild) or to the GG's Guild Forums page and the subguild's logo linked to whatever thread holds the subguild..
Or if an image map is not possible then to just link it to the main GG forums page.

There's a simple solution. A GG ID card. Name, rank, ect... Have an insignia or background color to tell branch (Black=ASDF, Blue=GN, Green=GA, Red=Non-Millitary Government, White=Civilian(Optional - Can double as drivers license or non-driver ID.))

...now.. bout the layout of the card..
should it be different for each branch?
or keep the same layout for all branches?

Same layout. The only differences should be either an insignia or the background color. That makes it easy to find the information on all cards as there wouldn't be five or so different places where a particular piece of information could be. A background color code or an insignia makes it so that either a person who knows the system could tell affiliation with a quick passing glance (Background color), or a casual observer could tell affiliation by looking at the card (Insignia).
I favor background color, since most civilians will be able to remember white means civilian, red means non-millitary, and anything else is millitary. Police have a badge and a red card.

I'll make the card, it wounds pretty simple.. I could do it in about half an hour on photoshop.
