If Acubens could have heard what Pasiphae was thinking, she would have blushed again, but then agreed. Yes, she needed help. She’d met a few white moon senshi, but none who’d really taken an interest in her growth, save for Europa. And even then the older senshi had prior obligations to her court, which Acubens had yet to be accepted into. The kindness of the other senshi, the genuine concern for her well being, was more conducive to her current state than anything that had happened prior. And Acubens would tell them as much. Drama queen that she was, she would tell them at length about how much acceptance meant to her at that moment. She needed acceptance, as much as she raged against the need. She needed to be affirmed and supported.
Acubens was brought from her reverie when she was scanned. She grinned and did the same to Pasiphae. “Well, maybe I can get you back into the habit. I need someone to hang out with. Patrolling on my own gets so boring, especially when nothing happens that night.” She shut her phone, information saved, and put it back into the space between where it and her pen resided together. “Besides, I need more practice… well, more like I need to figure out what it is I’m patrolling for.” She laughed at her own ignorance, pulling at the feathers of her bracers in a far more benign version of nervousness.

Pasiphae blushed unconciously at Niflhel's praise, and she tugged on a tuft of her thick hair. She was glad to have been of help to the point that others would consider asking her to assist again; it boosted the tiny foundation of confidence she was beginning to develop. She addressed the Squire but meant for her words to reassure all in the group, "If I need help, I'll call. I promise."
Pasiphae's smile faltered a little bit at Acubens's next statement, as she replied softly, "I don't know about others, but when I patrol I look for youma or Chaos agents who are attacking the innocent. So... I treasure the nights when I don't find anything... it means that no one's gotten hurt. Or at least... that's what I tell myself. But I understand not wanting to be alone; helping one another... is important. We're all a team after all... right?"

Camelot of Earth was a little late to the party, but at least he had managed to get there and drop off his donations. He was glad to help, always, in whatever way he could. He liked giving back, for a personal reason, but more than that he liked seeing others doing the same.
There was something oddly fulfilling, watching the younger generations (as they mostly were, he noted with chagrin), giving to their community and to each other, spreading warmth and happiness for no real personal gain. Nothing tangible, anyway. Just the same thing he was seeking.
He smiled and glanced around, but he doubted he would stay for long. One of the draw backs of being so much older than everyone, he often found situations like these awkward. Like all the kids were having fun, then suddenly the adult is there and no one quite knows what to do. Was he trying to pretend he was a hip young thing? No, not really.
Kind of.
And that was a little sad. He tried not to think about it too much, brightening as he saw faces he recognized, nodding polite hellos and trying to slip off.
(I don't know if this is still open... sorry for the lateness, I only just discovered it.

There had been a bit of a commotion centred around a curly-haired senshi in a purple and grey outfit, but a few of the other senshi there had been on hand to help and although Athene had contemplated offering, he wasn't sure what he could offer that hadn't already been offered.
Actually with his few donations added to the pile, the dark-haired senshi was at a bit of a loose end. It wasn't as if he wanted to be part of the senshis or knights handing the donations over – it was a little too much spotlight for Athene to be confortable, although maybe he'd try to attend the Gala in non-senshi form. It was a big maybe at this point – the dark-haired senshi was still thinking it over.
There was nothing to really keep the senshi of beads, so Athene made his way over to the exit giving a friendly nod to the few faces he recognised. He'd power down back to Arian once he'd put a bit of distance between himself and the warehouse, before heading back home to a warm drink and late snack.

At the mention of a team Acubens looked back up at Pasiphae. It was the first time anyone outside of the Dark Mirror Court had offered her any such option, and it was a little shocking to hear it from lips outside of that circle. She stopped her motion for a second and processed the information.
"Ahh," she finally stammered, blushing at her falter, "ahh, yeah... but I thought that we were all separate teams... like the Jovians and what not. Like... exclusive little families." She scratched her head and laughed warily. "Like we're all on the same side but... just different little groups of us." Curse her ignorance. Acubens' blush only deepened as she spoke, turning her face bright rouge. Look somewhere else. Anywhere else.
Camelot's entrance had caught her attention. She smiled softly and waved to him. Now that she was calmer, Acubens was able to greet those she did not know with the warmth she would if she was alone with them. Well, alone and now pissed, that is.

Pasiphae's nose crinkled slightly at Acubens's description of teams. On some level, the other Senshi was correct - Senshi and Knighs tended to band together with certain other invididuals that they worked well with or felt some connection to. Individual personalities needed to be taken into account. But the Shame Senshi truly believed, as she had from her awakening, that each of the individuals who fought for Order had a destiny to fulfill. They were all connected; they were all, no matter how estranged, family.
Still, she did not want to appear overcritical, especially since she was still figuring out information too. So, she responded after a moment of thoughtful consideration, "You can choose to work with particularly teams, certainly. Some of us get along better than others... but that doesn't mean that we aren't family, an overarching team, on some level. I would never refuse to help anyone because he or she was not also a Jovian. I hope... I hope that others would feel the same towards me."
Now, however, she felt she had said too much, and with a blush of her own she excused herself from the situation. This event was about giving back to those of Destiny City, and she didn't want to take away from that any longer. Besides... she had told her parents that she was running a small errand, and fairly soon they would surely call the cell phone she used for her daily life. "I'm sorry to run but... I need to be off. It was good to meet you, Acubens, and good to see you again, Polaris, Niflhel. I'm sure I'll see you all again."

Polaris had a slightly different view on teams, perhaps from her time on the Bastards and the looseness in which it had been banded together. As it was she was slowly trying to pull together a team of her own, but as much as it was about ideals it was about friendship. "Teams are a nice way to know that you'll always have someone to watch your back. Or to make close friends."
"Sometimes we get so busy with all this senshi stuff that we completely neglect having a good time or having friends. Teams are a great way to balance both I think."
"There may be a few teams that stick primarily together and ignore those not in the team.. but I think those are far and inbetween. For the most part I think most knights and senshi are happy to help each other whenever possible."
It was just her two cents, ended with a soft shrug that allowed the younger senshi to interepret as she pleased.
"Take care Pasiphae" Her hand lifted softly in a wave of goodbye before her eyes turned momentarily back towards the group and Niflhel. "We really should figure out where to put that, or who to give that too."

((This thread is closing up but feel free to wrap up your rps and if you haven't posted yet but still would like to, feel free to still pop in solo worthy posts!))The later it got the more people that filled the building, even with senshi and knights moving coming and leaving of their own accord. The pile grew, as did the excitement as allies saw just how large their generosity was, and as plans began to come together. Though noone ever stepped up to take lead and lay claim to the idea through discussion and compromise a plan was made. A handful of senshi would take all the things they'd gathered and drop them off during the Winter Gala. It'd be a quick operation, just enough to drop off their goodies and let the city know that they 'the knights and senshi of Destiny City' were the ones who would do it. But it was one that would take care and swift action to avoid the possibility of a battle with chaos or a hail of police gunfire. Through the help of cats and their choice of hours the day passed uneventfully, without disruption by any forces of chaos. And when all the donations had been gathered and plans for the next day had been solidified the warehouse slowly began to empty. There was sleep to get and planning to do, as tomorrow promised to be an exciting and festive day for everyone. Quote: Thank you everyone for participating and volunteering! Senshi/knights allowed to participate in the drop off:Squire Niflhel Eternal Sailor Polaris Super Sailor Ganymede Page(?) Valhalla Eternal Sailor Maia Not allowed: Unfortunately you two won't be able to appear in powered form, but it's for a good reason! Please make sure you attend the Gala in your civilian form please. wink Sailor Acubens Squire Camelot ** Technically any order or chaos character is allowed to participate in the Gala ORP, this is just a list of the few who are allowed to appear powered up! ((If I somehow missed someone please pm Iris_virus asap so I can fix it!!)) ------------------ The Winter Gala will be taking place in this thread. As this is a fairly planned out endevour we're going to ask that a few rules are followed.1) While knights/senshi may wait in the wings please wait for the mayor to finish announcing her winners before we do the reveal and drop in. 2) The vague process of this is going to be a) Order characters appear, lugging bags and boxes of goodies b) Make your greetings/holiday wishes/whatever you want to say c) and retreat before chaos insues and the cops come after you! 3) This is a big city event, if the police are not there they will certainly be there very quickly! Keeping this in mind it's likely that each senshi will only get two or three posts before having to flee. Please keep this in mind when planning out your posts. Thanks again for everyone who has and will participate! I hope everyone enjoys this little chance for the order side to get a little good press for once. :3

Niflhel nodded towards Polaris as she made her suggestion of finding who to give the envelope to. Of course no one ever seemed to admit or show up that was in charge. The squire sighed as he crossed his arms, watching as plans were hatched out and generally everything seemed to go rather smoothly.
It was a welcomed change of pace considering. "Come on Polaris, lets go home. I can keep a hold of the money for now." He offered as he watched everyone start to leave after everything was decided.

"That... shouldn't be necessary." She decided with a small nod, motioning towards the large pile. "If I can trust my allies with my life, then I think it's safe enough to trust them with some money."
Waiting for him to debate back or place the envelope amid the pile, she mused softly, fiddling with the fur that lined her gloves. "I've still got a few cookies and brownies left over from the bake sale. Want to help me finish it?" There was a soft wink, knowing very well that it wasn't a question that needed asking.
It'd been a stressful and busy end of the year. A time filled with failures and successes, disapointments and amazements beyond her wildest dreams. It really was nice for once to have something as simple and normal as this. People helping each other for the holidays. The perfect thing to warm any cooling hearts.

Niflhel frowned, "Are you sure? I mean what if someone crook breaks in? It's not like we've got someone sitting on it to keep out thieves." True to his nature he was trying to rationalize why they wouldn't leave anything like money behind.
He paused when the subject was turned to food, "Yes." He answered "That's a silly question." He shook his head and gave a smile offering her the envelope back so she could do what she wanted with it. Though he still wasn't sure leaving money was a good idea.

"I know what you mean but.." It was a valid concern, and she thought about it for a moment before shaking her head. "If someone steals the rest of this stuff then my money hardly makes much of a difference."
Sliding the envelope down among the wrapped presents, she returned to his side once more, nodding towards the door. "We can always peek by later tonight too if you're uncomfortable. But I have faith."
Wrapping her fingers into his, Polaris let herself be led away and towards home. It wouldn't be long before they came back for all the stuff anyway.
