Whisper was about to take her last step when she heard a hiss and a crunch. She was stunned, thinking she was having a brief out of body experience, but this was not the case. She had not been rocketed into the ceiling, but someone definitely had been. She looked to her left to see that it had been Natalia. "NATALIA! Are you ok?!"

She began to hyperventilate a little, but she knew that the werelemur was tough, and wouldn't have been hurt that badly. Right? Right. And its not like she didn't care when the others were launched upwards, but it was Natalia. She loved that girl, more then anything in Halloween. She had to keep moving. She could inspect her lover when they both reached he end of the room. "Just keep moving hun..."

[Moving to A7]

Wanting to move off her tile and check on Natalia, Mei instead suppressed the urge, as she was afraid to cause another incident. Not to mention, it just didn't feel safe at the moment..She looked like she was about to lose it in fact. Freezing, she waited for the her assurance that she was indeed alright. She knew--it damn well hurt. "Okay, I think we're okay to--" Cut off in mid sentence, the dolls eye's widened at the sudden rumble. Oh sweet mother of Jack! "SHHIIIT" Leaping off her tile, she bolted for the exit. This explosion would hurt more than the last. That, she knew!

Mei has exited to Hub

Thank freakin Jack. That door was like a bottle of water in a dry desert. Especially now that the room was making a lot of noise, and not exactly staying still like a good room should. Whisper wiped some sweat from her brow and looked at the others. Mort left, followed by Mei and LW. She wouldn't be far behind, winking at Natalia before she too vanished through the door. She be sure to give her a big hug and a kiss when she saw her on the other side.

[Whisper exits to hub~!]

Better watch your footing, this room's floor has a thick layer of slippery ice. The walls are equally covered in cold frost, and the air is bitingly cold. It's almost enough to freeze the ice in your veins, unless your wearing a fur coat of course.

Behind you the door that allowed you to enter is gone and dangerously sharp icicles dangle from the ceiling. In front of you are two doors each one with a white marble statue blocking it. Suddenly their sapphire eyes open...

Upon seeing the group, they speak in unison:

“We are the guardians of the way onward.”

They fall silent. Then the one on the left speaks, “Both of these doors lead somewhere.”

“But it all depends on what you’re looking for,” the statue on the right chimes in, “If it is the way forward -”

“Oh! I know that one!” The one on the left interrupts. “It’s behind my door!”

The one on the right shakes its head. “No, it isn’t. You just want them to go through your door for your own amusement.”

“I am not!” The left statue retorts, “I’m only trying to help! You’re the one who is insisting on confusing them! Besides,” the statue turns towards the group. “Why don’t you lot pick?”

“It is your decision, after all,” the right statue adds with a nod. “Though you may wish to discuss it amongst yourselves; you must agree on one door, and must go through that door and only that door.”

“And we can’t tell you what’s behind the doors, either,” the statue on the left chimes in. “So don’t get any ideas! Just let us know which door you pick. And you can’t ask us any questions, either.”

The right statue says nothing, and watches the group expectantly.

The first thing that struck her when she stepped into the room was Mei just about slipped and oh Jack was it cooooold! The she-wolf shuddered and curled her tail around her legs as she moved to stand next to the doll. "Wha....?" How had this room turned to ice so quickly? And why did it have to be the evil cold white stuff from hell?! She shivered again, distinctly reminded of her first field trip ever. That blasted Christmas Town! LW had hated snow and ice ever since.

"Whyyyy did it have to be ice? And c-cold!" She shuddered and wrapped her arms around herself, standing closer to Mei only then noticing the annoying doors. Well, sort of annoying. LW would appreciate their humor more if she wasn't freezing right now!

...oh wait. She could totally do something about ths. With another shiver, LW shook and shifted forms. Ahaha! There. This was much better. She shook her coat out and plopped down at Mei's side like a faithful canine. The doll didn't have a furry form like she did, but LW sat closer to try and help keep her warm while they waited for the rest of their team. She regarded the doors curiously, tail curled around her paws, ears flicking towards them when either spoke. So they had to pick a door?

"Err....have any idea on how we should pick?" The she-wolf glanced up at Mei.

Speaking of flipping -

Thunk. There was Mort with his non-cleated green-glow-lined shoes, not five steps into the room and already faceplanting. x~x Shakily, sloooooowly, he crawl-slid to them - and then got up. Phew.

Unlike the ghouls, the cold was far, far preferable for the undead than to the hot room from before. Rubbing his face to make sure all the pieces were still there, Mortimer listened to the statues with a quizzical expression. He had known of a similar situation, only the statues could have been asked questions . . . Hmmmm.

He turned to his team and - oh look, LW was in her wolf form! o3o Fuzzzyyyyyyyy~

"What do?" he asked, contemplating the icicled ceiling with a small wince. "Has no money on Mort to flip . . ." It was the only thing he could think of besides just going directly through a door.
