Welcome to the Basement Hub! As the door closes softly behind you, you realize that you are now in a shared common space somewhere in the Haunted House. The room you are in is dark and slightly damp. It's also rather vertical. Numerous platforms are scattered around the room connected by ramps and flickering electronic lights. There are also several poorly-lit doors scattered around, each with a different number on them. If you attempt to enter a numbered door, you will find that it is locked; the only door you can open is the one you just came from that leads back to your puzzle room.
You look around and can't see any windows. The relatively cool air clues you in that it's night, and the sheer absence of sound makes you believe you are somewhere underground. A nearby sign confirms this fact with a faded map complete with an arrow pointing at the Basement.
After looking around, you notice that you're not alone...

The OOC After a Halloween group has completed a puzzle, you have the option to RP here in the Hub. The Hub is an ORP for the following Halloween groups only: Group 8 Group 9 Group 10 Group 11 Group 12 Group 13
And Boos. There is no limit to what Hub a Boo may RP in; a Boo may go from one hub to another so long as they post an entrance and exit post for each one. For instance, if a Boo is in the Boo-only ORP, they must first RP their boo leaving that thread with ((Exiting)) in their post. Once that is complete, a Boo may then come into this thread or another ORP and make a post of their Boo entering the thread (phase through the walls/ceiling/floor or coming through a door, etcetc) with (( Entering from )) with being their last ORP. ie, ((Entering from Boo ORP)) or ((Entering from Attic Hub)) etcetc.
General Hub Rules: No fighting. No battles may take place in the Hub; this is strictly a RP place. Halloween students may not enter a hub in the middle of their puzzle. A GM must post a closing post giving you permission to go to the Hub before you may leave (due to the exit door being locked and all). You may only RP in the hub your group is in. Otherwise 150 characters in one place would be far, far too confusing. You may only be in ONE thread at a time. Please remember to exit/enter from various threads. Going to the Hub does not reset your HP values.
If you have any questions or are confused about anything, please ask here.
When your GM has created your next puzzle room/challenge, they will quote-notify you. When this happens, please return to your room. If you wish to ICly RP this out, your character will hear a little summoning-bell that only their group can hear.

((Entering from Boo RP)) It felt a slight chill in the air, a difference in pressure, and other changes that prompted the boo to open its eyes. Its hands pressed against its cheeks as it zipped around the room, looking around for something to eat. It bobbed towards a door, specifically at the sign on it, a number. It looked at it and crossed its… well, it tried to cross its arms across what could be its chest, but found its arms were a little short, and just scratched what could be its chin… which could also be its chest. It moved a little closer, and looked around, checking to see if anyone was around. It licked the door. It large tongue bigger than its body slurped up along the number, and retracted back to its mouth. It brought another thoughtful look on its face as it judged its taste. “Hrmm…”

((Entering from Boo RP))
The orange boo phased through the wall and hung close to the ceiling. He watched a rather... odd boo lick one of the doors and shook his head (or rather his body). He wanted to shout something like, Dude, Doors aren't for eating, but he was rather at home in his dark corner, staring down, and waiting for the fleshies.
Once they were inside, yelling would commence. Lots, and lots of yelling.

((Entering from Boo ORP)) Herpy drifted into the room through the ceiling. Hadn't he exited through a wall though? Physics don't apply here.

The boo sauntered. It bobbed up and down as it flew around the basement, look at all the doors, and taking note of the others who had made their way down there. There wasn't many of them. He thought, maybe the others might have found the kitchen, or at least some food around this place. Just the thought made him salivate, and visibly so, as it started to trickle along the sides of his mouth. He narrowed his eyes at the others, making sure the other boos weren't following him as he pressed his hands against the ceiling. He pushed, two to three times, and finally he phased through it.

And just as mysteriously as he appeared, the bandaged boo was gone.

((Entering from Boo RP))
Honor had decided to check out the mysterious two legged beings up close. She made her way on up to the basement from the ground and looked around the basement.

Tybalt hopped down the last of the steps, landing on the ground without a sound and successfully reaching the basement floor.
It was dark, damp and eerily quiet. It was the perfect environment for a ghost. Though he himself would sooner choose the great outdoors over a rundown basement. But at least he was comfortable here!
"I don't see anyone here, do you?" He asked, looking over his shoulder towards the rest of the group.
It was supposed to be a haunted house, yet he had not seen a single ghost. It was a disappointment, really. He was curious to see his own kind, curious to see what kind of ghosts were inhabiting the haunted house. Maybe there were even fellow black dogs among them? But how was he supposed to find out, if they never showed themselves?
Tybalt entered the basement!

<< Gabrian is exiting the basement! >>"Not really, no," Gabrian peered over Tybalt's shoulder as he landed behind him, then made a small face, "But then again, given the nature of the room we've just been in, not to mention the pigs, wouldn't you agree it's a bit of a relief to not see anyone?" of course, not seeing anyone didn't quite mean there wasn't anyone there, now did it? After all, many creature in Halloween Town could become invisible, and this was supposed to be a haunted house. "At any rate, it's nice to be out of that pink room. I'm not opposed to a bit of pink, that that room was horrific," he looked over his shoulder, addressing the rest of the group, "Wouldn't you think say so too?"

[ entering from room ]
"Well this is dreadful."
Ren hopped down the stairs, flapping his wings once to vault into the air and land on Gabrian's back, wrapping his arms around the nix's shoulders and neck like a little kid wanting a piggyback ride. He peered around the dingy, dark room, wondering what was down here besides them.
Clearly nothing. Ren felt his spirits plummet just the tiniest bit. He had been rather hoping to see someone familiar here, someone like a certain werewolf, or perhaps even Vaith or Natalia or anyone.
Disgruntled, he flapped his wings again and turned around, reclining in midair with his back now against Gabrian's shoulders.
"Where is everyone, anyway?"

"Point taken, but I still kinda' want to see someone, or something---not pigs though." He said, hastily adding the last part. It was probably safe to say that none of them ever wanted to come across those again. Ever.
"What's dreadful?" He asked, when Ren jumped down bes---onto Gabe's back. What was he, four? Maybe the living found this particular environment uncomfortable? Or wait. No. Judging by the disappointed look on the gryphon's face, it was probably the lack of a certain werewolf that brought on that response.
"Missing LW already?" He asked with a sly grin. Though the answer was clear.

[[ Entering from Boo Hub ]]Rex hovered down through the cieling, a look of revulsion on his face at the fleshy things below him. He didn't say anything yet, preferring to stay up near the ceiling, but he did drift silently around the vertical platforms to scope out the intruders. His baby blue eyes caught whatever slivers of light the dank basement afforded. His royally moled lip twitched. Filthy, fleshy things. Perhaps they would serve him when he became king?

((Jove is entering from room 1~)) Jove slowly followed his group into the basement, standing on the top stair for a few minutes to take in the damp, dusty scent of disuse and... maybe mould. It wasn't like the types of good mould out in the forest, it was like mildew and wet fabric. And unlike Tybalt, he wasn't feeling very comfortable in this dark and damp. He dashed down the rickety stairs at a childishly fast pace, and nearly bumped into Ren at the bottom. Even though he wouldn't admit he was unsettled by the place, it felt good to stand next to his brother. The wisp bridged the distance between them with one little hand, placed against the soft feathers on Ren's wing. The little pup remained silent as his group talked, and scented the air. There was a dead thing down there somewhere, maybe just starting to rot. Something alive had been through there, but not anything recognizable as another student, it couldn't have been anything larger than a rat. It was when he lifted his nose to sniff again that he noticed something floating overhead, something pale and... blobby. He stared at it for a second. Then without a sound, he gave Ren's wing a tug.
