Yami no Hikari
I like

暖かかった 'atatakakatta'

It means 'was warm' ...the past test of the adjective 'warm'

I like it because it's still hard for me to say right on the first try >D

Like a mini tounge-twister

That is the most irritating word I've learned this year! I'm just glad I don't have to use it very often.

Here's another fun conjugation!

warawareru

it's to laugh (warau) in the passive form. You often use passive form to talk about something that happened to you and you suffered because of it. It inspired me to make my own little tounge twisting sentance.

watshi wa wara wara jin ni warawareta.

I was laughed at by a person from Walla Walla (Washington).
Hee hee!

Oooooo this should be fun....

Ha~i! (I just love saying it like that for some reason... think I've watched too much anime sweatdrop )

Sumimasen! or alternately, Suimasen! (slang) [sorry]

Yoshi! (ever notice anime characters turn it into "yoshha!" lol) [Ok!]

yabai [bad]

honma ni (LOVE kansai dialects! ^____^)

Hmm... but the really fun things are the words with lots of uncommon sounds in them, aren't they.

I love the 'chau' endings...

kai is so kakkoii [ka]

-ppoi (it just sounds so funny, you know...?)

jan! [either as ta-da, or in the ja nai sense]

shimau (love that ending, especially -natteshimau)

"shou ga nai ja nai" [it cant be helped]

but there are just too many to list them all, ne? I love Japanese... blaugh

-Tachiko
(Honma ni onna desu yo!)

Enomiya Tachirou

しらべます(shirabemasu): to make investigations on, check out, etc.

because when I was trying to remember it I thought of an elderly Japanese person shouting "she rob a bank!" to a police officer who is investigating it. it just makes me laugh now. blaugh
