Nothing could stop him from climbing. His hopes were high and nothing would hinder his progress. He could feel the end coming near. His hands would let him know be reached the top once his hands felt the flat top. Be smiled as he pulled himselfbup to his knees ans stood on the top of the gate and took a deep breath. It was true that even though he was ecstatic to be where he was he simply did waste a lot of energy getting to the top of the wall.
Yet another gust of wind threatened to sway him off the gate. A fall from here would most likely end his life. The kid had to do nothing more than to stay on the top of the gate. Falling was not an option. However in his tired state he thought of just falling forward and making it to the other side of the gate. Which ended up happening much against his will.
As he fell he saw the wall and did a front flip to grab back onto the wall. He slid down a few feet and stopped himself. He exhaled and chuckled a bit at the level of expertise he had developed over the course of this climb.
The kid managed to continue downward slowly still not wanting to fall. He went along the side if the gate spreading his weight as far out as possible. His plan was working rather well as he no longer had any problems keeping his grip on slippery rock.
However his progress came to a halt. His plan had one snag. With his arms and legs spred apart it was harder to find footholds. From where he was currently he couldn't even see under him to tell how far he was from the ground. The fear of falling once again paralyzed him.

Pr0dlgy The boy shrugged as he flopped down onto the ground. This other guy was cocky, ignorant, and had a short fuse. Not exactly someone he wanted to associate with. The boy just sat one the ground and thought it best to remove himself from the convo. Hell, talking to a tree would be a more refreshing step up. At least trees didn't talk about self-righteous crap.. (( You are a poor judge of character. How is Kite/Gin self rightous? From what I said he is obviously just insane killer. It's a pretty cliche emotion in RPs and you didn't pinpoint it. Nothing he said was self-rightous. ))

15 Success He lowered himself more, each step was taken with care and precaution. Sure he wasn't very high up, but to him it seemed like a long way down. With each step he saw the ground getting closer. He grew excited and estimated that he went down about ten feet. About twenty more feet and then I'm home free... please no problems...
18 Success He continued his way down the wall, the ground even closer than before. He thought he could see some people off in the distance waiting and discussing amongst each other. From the looks of it, they weren't having a very civil conversation. Did one of them give him the note? Or perhaps they too received it? He needed to get down there and find out the answers.
13 Success Covering the last bit of distance he was now safely on the ground. Looking around to see if anyone was watching he kissed the ground and looked up at the wall. He shook a fist in the air at it for all the grief and trouble it had given him. "Take that... stupid wall..." He walked over to the group of boys waiting. "Good evening," he said brushing the dirt and dust off his Happi, "That wall is a pain in the neck, let me tell you. You wouldn't happen to be here for... odd reasons, would you?" He remembered the note said to keep it low-key and what if they didn't know about it? He sat down on a log, relaxing his muscles after the long climb.

[1+2= AUTOFAIL] As Masaraku sped down the back alleyway she heard something that filled her with dread, "HEY YOU! STOP!" She had to turn right and slip from his view, taking her off her course and actually leading her away from the gate instead, but it was better than getting caught. When she did not see him she used the cloak of invisibility jutsu to fade from his view. Then once he had passed she back tracked towards the gate, hoping to make up for lost time.

Walking over to the two boys who were most likely there for the same reason he was, he couldn't help be envy there down dime. As of now the boy wasn't tired anymore however he did hope whoever was left to show up so that the leader of the tiny group could head out and start this adventure. Despite his doubts the kid was eager to see some ghosts. Keon wasn't one to be scared easily.

Gin took a look over at the new kid. He didn't seem strong as all, even weaker than the guy who he was just talking too. He then looked away and started to talk to himself. "I do wonder if that guy I just killed will come back for revenge." Gin said, he was talking about that guy at the end of the last mission who he killed with a barrage of shuriken. That was of course a mumble and he looked over to the academy student who just arrived. "You get rid of ghosts by burning the corpse right?" Gin asked him as he rubbed the side of his neck. So far he was the most experienced person here and he had no risk to any one of them alone. He was wondering how many would come though. It was decided long ago though that he'd only show his real fighting style if need be and would stick with shuriken otherwise. He had gotten thorugh two C-Ranked missions without it so he'd be fine he felt.

Masaraku crept up behind Gin and said, "I wonder if you know how to keep your mouth shut." She had seemingly come from the shadows, her face hidden under the hood of her cloak and her white teeth glinting in the light of the moon. "Welcome chums." She took off her hood and looked to Batsu, "Good to see you showed." Then over the academy students, "And isn't this a great turnout ..." She turned and said, "Follow me, we have much to speak of, and moonlight is precious." She began to head into the marshes, the shallow water catching her cloak so that it trailed in the water behind her. "In days of old Kirigakure was a village that prided itself on producing some of the most skilled and deadly ninja in the world. Between the seven swordsmen of the mist, the six tailed beast and their intense training program they were renowned amongst the shinobi nations for cramming so much power into such a small country. This intense training program that they had lead up to a single event. Kirigakure's chunin exam, The Bloody Mist, as it was known, was a battle to the death. Only the strongest survived, but while some of the warriors had left their earthly bodies, rumors say that their spirits still haunt the mist." She smirked, knowing the horrors that awaited them ahead.

Batsu saw his team member, Masaraku , and stood to his feet. "Don't mistake my meekness for weakness, Masaraku. Besides, my eldest brother was in town and I didn't feel like staying home and hearing him and my parents run their damn mouths and cackle like birds... and judging by your demeanor, you are the one that brought us all here. If so, I hope you can deliver on your promise of great riches. Otherwise I would have wasted my time."
Batsu was serious, he'd hate to come all this way for nothing... and since he was the only medic on the team, the chances of having to do the most was pretty high.

Whilst I understand your need to be a know it all and a smart a** I don't appreciate your method of going about it. If this is how you are going to be Hayate, then leave. Keon agreed with one of the other kids there. He had snuck out if the house out of boredom and curiosity. He hoped that the one who called them there knew what they were talking about. He wasn't so sure anything was going to happen. Everything seemed normal to him. He'd let them know if anything changed however details didn't think it would anytime soon. His doubts were starting to overwhelm his faith in ghosts.

Gin heard a voice and turned around to look for it, he wasn't the best at hide and go seek. The people who his parents hired to take care of him were to easy on him apparently so although he could hide well, he was never able to test himself on finding people. But either way, there wasn't much to lose in this endeavor right here, as she had shown herself to them and even if he failed on finding her instantly he could easily locate her. The person wasn't a ghost or soul so he kinda was dissapointed but stayed anyway. As long as this wasn't some sort of trick to get him to hang out with them he'd be fine. He liked girls but he prefered human girls.
