Regardless of Saiyuri and Takashi's actions, the two remaining Yuki warriors from Nakaya's original three were screwed from the start. After Saiyuri's quick reflexes enabled Takashi and she to escape the blast of the mines, the Yuki operatives were ready to capitalize on your escape with arcs of energy streaming off their swords and were watching you two carefully to find an opening. This however made them completely oblivious to the death that came to them by Nakaya's arrows from about 150 feet away, as his deadly Insight allowed the arrows to perfectly curve around the trees, striking each of his targets in the chest. Seconds later their bodies could be seen falling from the full height of the tree to the forest floor below.
Turning to see if Hasu still needed aid, you would all be surprised to turn and see Hasu casting the killing blow to the final 2 warriors, each one suffering a severe slash wound across the front of their bodies, both of the warriors falling to the ground at the same time as Hasu stood between them, his weapon already resheathed. Having barely turned in time to even see him face his opponents, you never really saw how he had gotten between them or dispatched them, but the fact remains that they had both been killed in what would seem to be the blink of an eye without much effort at all, which was a purposeful and calculated effort on his part.
{{Jade, your Chakra/Stamina values in your most recent post are off from the one previous to it. especially if you are climbing up a tree, which would require some form of the "Wall/Tree" walking technique... unless you're just leaping between them, which doesn't seem very Mayu.}}

   Hasu...(Tsukiakari Hikaru - [RPC Profile])Konohagakure | ANBU (ROOT division)Having the ANBU robes shield him, Hikaru rather liked the fact that the simple costume was keeping his enemies frozen in their tracks too frightened to do anything else. Even within the ruse, all he had to do was strike with speed and precision in combat for his disguise to be maintained, which was exactly what he had been taught to do with his blade since birth. Normally, he attempted to stay away from the use of ninjutsu as his selection of skills was not particularly impressive, or up to par with what a real ANBU agent could employ. Still, a situation like this was optimal, when the use of his sword could trump all else, which enabled him to strike fast enough and return the blade to it's sheath before most people had an opportunity to see what he was doing, even if they were looking directly at him.
Timing was everything in the end. If people could see everything you were doing at all times, they could see the small errors, or the slow steps it took to get there, but if a distraction was made first, the action following it was often glossed over by the mind as the brain attempted to connect the fragments of what it saw. That was where Hikaru shined. With his cunning, speed, and intelligence he was able to find breaking points where his actions would be skewed toward the incredible by forcing a fragmented view to be seen as something much more impressive then it was. Hearing the blasts behind him, Hikaru knew that his time would come when the others would be engaged with the remaining enemies. Once the blast was heard, even the enemy's attention was snapped away for a second, at which point, Hikaru had already launched himself from the branch with his great speed towards them using all of the Insight he had gathered previously.
By the time the two warriors had realized what happened, Hikaru's arm was already wrapped in wind, his hand on Kazesenkou's hilt as he drew the blade in a flash of sapphire blue light which streaked across the near-invisible path of the blade as it flew through the air. The first Yuki warrior Hikaru attacked attempted to throw his sword up in defense, but the material had no chance of withstanding the onslaught of Hikaru's blade as Kazesenkou sliced through the alloy with ease, cutting strait through the blade and into the man's chest in a single deadly laceration across his torso. Wasting no time, Hikaru continued the path of his blade up through the man's skin, into the air where it met the other Yuki warrior's blade. In a second, the enemy's blade was deflected and a large vertical slice down the middle of his enemy ended the man instantly as he and his fellow warrior fell onto the branch as if they had both been slain at the same instant. Returning his blade to it's sheath on instinct as his Iajutsu skills had long since taught him, this left Hikaru standing amidst his slain enemies at just about the time his comrades turned to look at him.
"Perfect timing" Hikaru thought to himself as he knew the other's attentions would have been split, thus creating the haze over his own actions he wished for. Standing for some time, Hikaru looked around, but seeing no other enemies, he simply jumped to a branch in the middle of the action and waited for the others to gather around him.

After having worked his brain pretty hard a second before, and feeling extremely fatigued after this battle, Nakaya fell safely into a bush below himself and laid in it for a few seconds. He was breathing heavily, having expended a lot of chakra during the day. The effects were beginning to catch up to the youth, but he was still more than pleased when he watched the dead bodies fall from the trees. It took a few seconds for his breath to catch up and for him to fish himself out of the bush. He walked his way over to his team leader who he could gather was waiting for the group. He felt no more chakra, not even trace amounts, anywhere, but he was still on guard. he had somehow missed them before, but he was more on alert now than then. He first leaned against a close tree, and then fell to the ground against it. He was slightly beating himself up inside for not sensing the chakra around him earlier. He felt as if it was it was mostly his fault they had been ambushed when he should have seen all twelve of the enemy shinobi in the beginning. Hasu-donno he began looking at the ground. I am sorry for my... lack of ability. The enemy ninja were somehow cloaked and I was unable to sense this trap soon enough. he said gritting his teeth.

Saiyuri opened her mouth in a soundless gasp as the two minds left her thoughts. It was an odd sensation, like seeing two stars blinking out of existence. She remained motionless for some time after, the adrenaline coursing through her veins not allowing her to rest. Finally she came back to reality, and remembered Takashi was hurt. Saiya forced him to sit down and then even pushed him onto his back. She said as she removed her gloves, keeping her own pain out of her face She'd deal with herself later, first it was time to see what was up with Takashi. As usual, he was covered in ash, even riddled with small cuts. What Saiya's attention turned to was the holes in his clothing, or rather what remained of his shirt. The blast had torn away a lot of his shirt. She deduced that Takashi took a blast straight on, and from the jagged scars in his body it was from something capable of shooting out shrapnel.
Saiyuri touched the skin that had formed over the shrapnel, much to her dismay. Somehow Takashi had managed to heal himself, though it was a terrible job compared to what it should have been. "Takashi, you idiot." She said in a soft tone as she prepared herself for the field operation. First, Saiyuri cleansed herself. She was used to this by now, and did not spend anytime watching her hands clean. Instead, she reached into the pouch she carried and removed a sealed bag. Saiyuri rolled the bag out and unsealed it, reaching in to pull out a scalpel. "Please bare with me." She said as she set to work.
Saiyuri swiftly made clean cuts where the markings were, and did not even need to use diagnosis to see where the problems were. The shrapnel had sealed under his skin and even dug itself in a bit more from his moving around. Luckily the damage wasn't that bad, apparently the Yuki Soldiers were not aiming to kill them. Saiya placed the scalpel down and then changed up her technique. She concentrated her chakra towards her hand, and placed them over the first wound. Extracting the shrapnel was fairly easy, but was tedious. Through her chakra, Saiyuri had to carefully push apart his tissue and then suck out the shrapnel. Saiya placed each piece in a little tin she carried in her medical pouch. When that was over Saiyuri took a second to breath and then continued again. "You always go off and get yourself into trouble Takashi..." She said, making sure no one else was near them through her mental reaches. Then, she put her hands on his chest, and began to cleanse his wounds before sealing them.
Now was the easiest part. Saiyuri prepared herself for the next technique and then charged her hands with chakra. They glowed green as she lowered them to Takashi once more. Unfortunately, she had to use a stronger healing technique for this. Saiya concentrated on repairing the wounds from the inside out. After sometime, she finally finished with Takashi. She was not done just yet. Saiyuri turned her hands to herself, and patched up her singed skin. Now, Saiyuri was done. Before finishing Saiyuri packed up her tools and then got up to her feet. "We need to head back to Hasu-sama and Nakaya." She said and headed back in that direction.
When Saiyuri was close enough, she spotted Nakaya. A pang of empathy passed through her link with Hasu as she went to Nakaya and put a hand on his shoulder. Saiyuri turned her light blue eyes to his, and a look and smile that conveyed a thanks stronger than words. "Nakaya, you saved me." At times Saiyuri could be a super nuke of pain, but she was a glass house. Physical beat downs took a serious toll on her, as she was more fragile than most. If Nakaya had not sent an arrow through the neck of her opponent she would have ended up a lot worse. Saiyuri embraced Nakaya in a hug unable to express her gratitude any further. Saiya then checked him to be sure he was not in any danger. After recollecting herself, Saiyuri turned to Hasu and made eye contact with the black holes in Hasu's mask. "Hasu-sama, Takashi and I are alright. Are you injured?"

Jutsu Used Kiyomaru (Cleanse): It is not always possible for a medical nin to practice basic hand washing and other procedures. This technique has the effect of instantly removing bacteria, dirt, blood, and other contaminants from the user’s hands, lower arms, and face. It also insures that any breath that comes from the user’s body will be free of any bacteria or infectious disease. This technique can also be used to clean the wounds of others in order to prevent infection from bacteria. In the event that the medical nin is using this technique to prevent infection of an injury that has been inflicted upon them, it is used as if the shinobi were using it on somebody else. Tekishutsu (Extraction): When a patient’s body has a foreign object in it, such as the point of a shuriken, a senbon needle, or an arrow, it is important to remove the object without further harming the patient. Using this technique the medical nin places their hands on either side of the injured area and uses chakra to very carefully manipulate the surrounding tissues in order to remove the object without causing any further damage. Depending on the severity of the wound and the nature of the object, it can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes to remove it. Chiyute no Jutsu (Healing Hands Technique): A Ninjutsu technique where the ninja focuses chakra into the palms of their hands, creating a small ball of healing chakra. This chakra, when concentrated, can repair physical damage to another person. This is the more advanced level of Chiyute no Jutsu, used by Chuunin and is required to advance to level five. A Chuunin has learned to use Chiyute no Jutsu with greater control and efficiency and it is now possible to treat deep serious injuries that might otherwise result in death from bleeding.

Cobra has called me in as the creator of the TUP's version of the 8 Gates style to clarify the mechanics of Super Rejuvenation. In order to understand why this is the way it is, you need to understand the system of the gates. Simply put, the bonuses of the gates end 3 posts after you stop opening gates, and the each gate lasts for a maximum of 3 posts. Regaining your stamina is a bonus granted during the second gate, so you lose the stamina you gained when you allow the second gate or any gate after it to fully resolve.
I'll edit the style so this is clearly stated.

"I would hardly call what would seem to be Takashi's inability to move 'alright'... you may have healed his wounds but his actions have left him far more fragile then any medical technique can cure." Jumping from his branch to a position about 10 feet from Takashi, Hasu stood towering over the young man who could barely move and stared at him for some time. His eyes appeared to be closed, a sure sign of the exhaustion he was facing. He had held nothing back in this simple fight, which could have been an admirable trait had it not completely debilitated him and now, his team while they were still in the field...
"I certainly hope that you have learned something about pacing yourself, but more so, that throwing yourself into combat with reckless abandon will get you killed. You were lucky that the explosives used by the enemy were designed to drain chakra and a person's energy rather then claim their life, or you would have been killed. What were you even thinking when you dived onto those explosives? It was a device you had never seen before and had no knowledge of and yet in your infinite wisdom you dove on top of them? For what? To save your ally who had already escaped? To protect your other ally all the way down at the riverside? To impress us all with your ability to absorb damage?... I assure you that for whatever reason you did it, it was flawed thinking as you can no doubt tell by your condition."
"You are now barely even able to keep your eyes open and yet we have several hours of travel ahead of us. You jeopardized your own life needlessly, jeopardized your teammates by forcing them to work a man down, and jeopardized the mission by decreasing it's likelihood to succeed. I will be sure to be as unforgiving in my report to the Hokage as I am right now." Hikaru allowed the words to linger in the air a while, being sure to have spoken loud enough for everyone to hear. He wanted the lesson to hit home for the young man to teach him something about what it meant to pace yourself in a fight and in the field. Even if Hikaru was not much older, he had years of wisdom and experience behind him and he had carried the weight and responsibility of hundreds, even thousands on his shoulders. He understood what it meant to pace one's self in order to make sure that he was not too weak to lead, or even to help.
'Now, do you think you can bring yourself to stand and travel along with us? Or do I have to carry you to the docks like a sack of rice?"

Takashi's eyelids weakly opened as he gazed at Hasu's eyes... which was hard because of the mask. "Which is faster... a man... or an arrow? Who's more durable: a physical fighter or an archer? You talk like I'm someone who can plan ahead. It was either take the hit and free them or hit the decives with a kick and pray they wouldn't explode and kill both of us." He grinned slightly, then the smile faded as he grew a serious tone about himself.
When he had sufficiant feeling in his head, he stopped a moment to continue his retort. "Don't sell me short. I'm not Superman, but I'm pretty damned close. I don't impress, I don't show off, and I know at least a dozen people who are 'smarter' than me. I do what I do because I see the world differently than you do. You say he escaped, right? If they had been explosives," He pointed at the area of the blast, then to the trees near the area. "Four trunks would have come crashing down, due to the angle of the blast. If I even had the time to throw them up, the debris from the canopy would be unpredictable. You say escaped, I say not necessarily." He took another breath of fire before continuing. "My turn. One: Why would Yuki shinobi attack us? Two: How did they know where to ambush us and your exact positioning? Three: How did they know the strength within our group? Five, I'd understand, but twelve? And I only allow people to carry me like a princess."

{{Tenchi: I thought we had discussed this... and I'm sorry, but you are NOT holding to the sentiment of what counts as YOUR fire or not. You tried to use a lighter to gain back chakra... but I pointed out to you that the flame is too small to give you anything substantial back.
...You then changed your post to say the trails of fire left behind had since 'lost your chakra signature' and therefore you could consume them. This is another misuse of the fire-eating ability... as that fire WAS CLEARLY created by your character, and thus could not be consumed.
On top of all that, I had already pointed out to you that you had absorbed your allotment of chakra replenishing fire for the day when you ate the fire arc attack the Yuki soldier fired at you. Please edit your post accordingly and please do not misuse this ability in the future.
I mean just read the technique again...
With this Technique, the user can devour any fire technique that is shot at them.

And heaven forbid I try to argue my point even farther, you'll just say 'Just do it, man." as you already have. But no, I'll edit a third time. )) Edited Response from Cobra:
I don't have a problem with people using things in the Guild which have been created. I have a problem with people using things improperly in such a way that breaks the system. The technique itself says you can only eat techniques used against you and you cannot eat fire which you yourself create.
I'm simply adhering to the guidelines of the bloodline and what is fair within the system. We're not perfect... we can't see everything that is unfair or that seems OP at the moment things are submitted or typed and we certainly can't accoutn for the way people misinterpret what is written.
...But as we see them used, we get a better idea of whether it is balanced or not, and then attempt to do so. So, things evolve, hopefully for the better. Sorry if it inconveniences you at the moment, but we're just trying to make things fair and interesting for everyone.

Deil Grist Just an FYI: You had your bonuses for 1st and 2nd gates listed as a fifth of a rank bonus (1/5). The actual bonuses are half ranks (1/2). (( ... I had them listed as each gate gave a .5 rank... which is a half... ))
