Short IC Response: Tell me a little about your couple. What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask for a basket? Akuba sat and gazed up at the star alone, his children had all grown up and now they were a little less dependent. He gave a solemn sigh and wished for more children, some nice children. All he needed was some company because for a while he'd been alone. He found that without the interference of anyone else his children could grow to be good. In the past many mares had mistreated him and it wasn't what he wanted anymore. He just wanted a family, a bigger family, one to share the good times with, but they all were leaving. One by one. And Akuba wish for a daughter or a son.

"I...I...I would like a child please?" He stuttered out. "I...I...I don't know where they come from. B...B..But I want to have one with Nola. I h...h...heard rumors around that you might be able to help me star." He settles down into the grass. "She's so pretty. She looks like a rainbow and rainbows make me smile. And I just want to try and make her smile too. I want my own family. I've never had that. Nola want's to share her family with me. And honestly I'm kind of scared to step into that, but maybe having a child to share with her will make everything easier for me to adjust." He placed the rainbow feather on the rock along with his favorite treat of carrots and a bunch of daisies."These are my favorite things star. Please accept them."

What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? ryuchi offered the bell he cherished from the foal he saw end that day. Its innocent tinkling calming him and giving him peace on long nights when he was far from Cerise. He hoped to offer the lonely star the same peace the bell had given him.
Short IC Response: The large, feline-like soquili stood on the hill alone that night, staring at the black sky above. A single star, from the billions that speckles the night sky, had drawn him to the top of a grassy hill. A gentle breeze jingled the decorative bells on his body, creating a soft harmonious music with the night. Ryuichi shiftes his weight, front hooves tucked inside paw boots and he gave a sorrowed sigh.The boots were fashioned from the feet of an evil skinwalker, one who had attacked the village and ended many lives. After the ordeal was over, the village praised Ryuichi as a hero though he felt he had done nothing special. Walking through the village after, the ground spattered with the blood of human and animal, Ryuichi stumbled across the body of a young foal, a red ribbon with a small gold bell still clasped in his young mouth. Ryuichi has seen the boy at play just the day before, the jingle of the bell sounding throughout the village. The feline tail dropped to the ground, as did Ryuichi's head to take the bell from the body of the foal. The tiny bell had since traveled with him across the lands, letting off a peaceful, innocent melody.Tonight, standing before this star, Ryuichi reached back and unlatched this bell now. He would give this bell as a gift tothe stars above and make a wish for a child of his own, to start a family with his love Cerise. He imagined now, the small colt running amongst the stars, looking down on the Earth...filling the heavens with the sweet sound of a childs innocencce and the sweet melody of the bell.

Drith paces back and forth, irritated. She walks a few steps, pauses, and reverses. Under her breath she mutters to herself. Every now and then she casts a glance down the hill at Xanti and her useless son, Anomaly. Then she goes back to muttering and pacing.

“Useless git, why did I even bothering birthing such a moronic son, he –“ Her voice changes volume “- I would give up profanities for a decade to –“ … “so useless, now Xanti would be –“ …

Drith’s so caught up in her rant that doesn’t even bother looking up at the night sky, so she doesn’t notice the purple star overhead.

What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star?
Zaine takes off one of his glowy bracelets and lays it on a rock nearby. It may not be much, but it's all he has to give.
Short IC Response:
Zaine's never been much of a lovey-dovey type of guy. He's more the player of hearts. He's been feeling a little guilty about that lately. He was merely passing through, when he came upon the wishing star. He could wish for anything he wanted, but it occurred to him, that maybe he could be a little less selfish, and wish for something for his girl Sassa. That's when he decided to make an offering, and wish for a basket to surprise her with.
He didn't have anything to offer really, except for his glowing bracelets. He carefully removed one, and laid it on top of a large rock nearby, and looked towards the stars. "I know I don't deserve it, but she does." he said, as he silently made his wish, and turned to walk away. Pausing a second, he looked back and whispered. "Please. If you make this happen, I'll try to change. I'll try to be a better guy, and not be so self-centered. I'd have to be. There'd be a foal involved! I know I can do it, I just need a little incentive." He finished making his plea, and made his way back home, wondering if he had in fact made a good decision, or if it would come back to haunt him.

What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Maisie has chosen her gift to be a piece of her. A feather from her hair that she has had ever since she was a foal. Perhaps with this feather the star will be able to get in tune with her and create a little miracle designed to be her grounded baby. Most of all, Maisie hopes that the star listened to her sorrows. Her words were far more heart felt than any phsyical gift she could bare.

It had been quite some time since Maisie had had the chance to wander off on her own. Handling three winged little hellions was a daunting task. One that the mare couldn't have ever prepared herself for. No matter how many pep talks she'd received from friendly acquaintances with insight on what she was running into. That's not to say that she doesn't cherish her tiny gifts, her rambunctious boys, Xipil, Dameon, and Dallon, are her babies. Her gifts from heaven. Though, she can't help but feel a sense of helplessness.

Maisie is overwhelmed by their utter beauty and how they resemble their father perfectly, however she feels as though she's incompetent to raise her own children. Have have questions like "how does daddy fly so high?" What's a mother who has never left the ground suppose to say to those curiosities? She didn't have the slightest idea on how to answer their questions and when it was time for Raiden to show their sons how to spread their wings she was going to miss it. Sure, she could watch from the ground but she'd be watching alone, from a distance, yearning for something a little closer to home.

Finally, the purple hued beauty had found this charming little knoll with a legendary star hanging high above it. For a moment she was taken back by it's serene appearance. "My, you truly are gorgeous..." she complimented sweetly, not knowing if the star itself could hear whispers or not. Still, giving every ounce of effort was worth a shot. She climbed up the mound and stood at it's peek, head craned back as she stared towards endless space.

"I'm not entirely sure if you can hear me, darling, but I..." her words trailed off, hesitating for a split second. Would she appear to be selfish to this greater existence? That wasn't how she wanted to be portrayed at all and the mere thought caused her to become a bit paranoid. "You see, I'm feeling rather crippled. It's almost as though... I can't be the mother they need. My boys that is." She was quick to clarify, and felt like the pleading was starting to get jumbled. "If only I could have a greater purpose. I want to be somebody they can come to with their questions. It's all I dreamed of while they were in my belly, turning into the precious little foals they are now. It's all I wanted..." her voice wavered near the end as her head dropped, heavy with tears in her eyes.

She lowered her head to the ground, making sure to lay her mane against the delicate grass as her hoof came to press lightly on one of her bland purple feathers and she gently plucked it from her hair. She nudged it to the center of the peek and gave it a farewell nuzzle. "I give you a part of myself. Maybe you'll be able to gather something from it. To make something- somebody more like myself. Somebody who can look to me for answers and I wouldn't have to feel so... useless," her voice grew softer as she spoke, until it was nothing but a whisper to herself by the end of it all. With that she turned on her hooves, scaled down the hill and retreated to the plains where her slumbering family laid oblivious to her troubles.
